It was less of an accident and more of an eventuality. Poor Healthcare outside of Beijing, coupled with open-air meat markets with no refrigeration being commonplace across the country, and immoral use of last-resort antibiotics in animal feed that promotes resistance. Then the party's usual suppression tactics gave the virus more than enough time to escape beyond its control. Now they are panicking, and try to blame their political rivals for something they caused.

I am cautiously excited for all of the changes coming to Yu-Gi-Oh!... except the Anime. That looks far from promising.

I know. Without Studio Gallop at the helm, it really feels they had no confidence with the existing media, and just decided to emulate every other TCG anime. Even the original Toei studio anime looks better.
I do so hope the rumours of Gallop working on a separate Yu-Gi-Oh Anime for the 25th anniversary are true. We'll find out tomorrow.

Yo, card making nerds. Curious on your thoughts on this. I see often many cards being made but hardly any review. (including card contest things that need votes). This isn't a new thing I remember it's been like this for a long time. But I just wonder...why does this happen? Can y'all who make cards explain why you don't tend to comment on the majority of other people's cards? Not trying to attack anyone but it's just weird to me.

The majority of us could spend time learning OCG formatting and do that bit of the review. But only those who are versed enough in the current and past meta, either by playing various simulators or the actual game IRL on the regular, feel confident enough in judging how well a card would be useful, and that is what us card makers want to know.

Another fun fact. They originally had no relation to Cleopatra VII of the Ptolemaic Dynasty, or of any Cleopatra. We know they were made in Heliopolis in 1450BC, on the orders of Pharoah Thutmose III, and then they were moved to Alexandria later to a "caesareum", a Roman temple dedicated to either Caesar or Mark Anthony, on the orders of Cleopatra VII. That is where they get their name.
