  1. Axe. Spear. Wolf. Surrounded on all sides. Pyrrha had been reckless. Eltain. I need you over here now. No rest for the naive, is it? That's the wicked you're thinking of. But I'm not wicked. Indeed, Pyrrha was a just girl. And a bit of rest after she slipped out of this hairy situation was probably warranted. She wasn't in any condition to fight up close, at least. Pyrrha could see her spirit heading her way. For this last moment, Pyrrha had to hold out. But with three opponents and only two arms, how was she supposed to do that? Luckily, she didn't have to worry about that. Ryia had the gnoll with the axe taken care of. That just left two. The spear coming at her side, and the wolf aiming for her arm. Each on opposite sides, and with Ryia blocking a third angle, even if she'd been a huge help. Only one direction left, and that was taken up by the wall Ryia had put up. Some sort of diagonal move then. And so it was that Pyrrha dove toward a spot between Ryia and the gnoll leader. It worked wonders for avoiding the jaws of the beast, but in exchange, she could distinctly feel a spear pierce through her arm and into her side on the way down. She wasn't sure where she'd been hit, and she was losing too much blood to stop and find out. But she could see Eltain. Her spirit had made it, though she would have appreciated if he was just a liiiiiiittle bit faster. The spirit seemingly tackled Pyrrha directly, entering her body, and then the world seemed to move in slow motion. This is our second time doing this, right? Second. Now hurry up. I can't keep us combined very long. On it. She only had a little bit of time, but that was plenty to make an escape if it was like this. The Wind Chosen got up to her feet, going around and behind Ryia, darting past Geoff on her way away from the gnolls, then stopping behind a cart. This was as far as she could go combined with Eltain in her state. As if forced, the spirit of wind shot out of Pyrrha's body, eyeing over the rest of the fight from his Chosen's new spot out of combat.

8/10 a.k.a. "things I should definitely give a listen to at quarter to 4 in the morning after reading and acknowledging your comment" 6/10, pretty good atmosphere but not much else. Good stuff. Makes for nice listening while I do some background work on a few alien races people might stumble upon in my space RP. 7/10. Without holding the incredibly tight hardware restrictions of the gameboy against this song, I'll give it an 8/10.
  4. OOC Thread Once upon a time, this would be a voyage the likes of which was only possible in science fiction novels. But this wasn't then. This was now, and now those dreams and fantasies of the past were the reality in front of the Rebounder, and everyone aboard it as the star they grew up around faded into the distance behind them. But at this speed, there was no way they'd get to other stars and planets in any of the crew's lifetime. But that was what mankind's latest innovation was for. "Activate the stellar drives!" A deep, booming, humming noise could be heard throughout the Rebounder, as the ship prepared to switch to high gear, and then rocketed off, away from home, and out into places no human had been before. In a very brief instant, short enough that one would miss it if they blinked, the crew could even see the broken wreckage of their predecessor pass by as they shot onward. And a lot of what the crew saw through the windows of the ship was a whole lot of nothing. Much of the crew of 300 was assembled at the bridge. Not that the captain could blame them. This was a first-of-its-kind expedition into the stars, Stars and planets that might have appeared in textbooks once upon a time, but all barren and devoid of any signs of people living on its surface. However, after some time, something different came into site. A red planet, with a space station in orbit above it. Clearly not one that had been built by human hands. The speakers of the ship emitted some static, and a crackling. And then... "Hozk!" "What is that!?" "A transmission, captain! Source appears to be on the planet ahead." "Identify yourselves!" "Ol-kla se Kerkte Vruul, kla-boa Thakto. Sa-kla, neki te ol, ak mok ha." Whatever that means. The ship's translators not kicking in could only mean one thing. This wasn't any language spoken by humans. "Captain! Three ships detected coming from the space station! Orders, please!" "Hmmm..." Hostile ships? Friendly? Serena had no idea. This wasn't the time to make rash decisions, either. "Crew members here on the bridge! What do you make of this situation? I want to proceed in a manner you're all comfortable with, so speak up!" For the first time in this voyage, Serena was willing to leave the fate of the Rebounder to the opinions of her crew, but her own leadership of course. OOC
  5. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 700 "What? Huh? Whatcha asking me that for? It's uhh...you know, that. It's a whole new world we live in ya know. It's a whole new way to see. A whole new place, with a brand new attitude....right, Chad? That's what you said right?" "You're getting confused with that stupid idol, I never said anything like that." "Oh yeah!....Sorry, I don't really know, I just thought it'd be fun?" The critical hit from Kenta's pokemon - which seemed to bypass Ursula's barrier - looked painful. But surely the inkay could prevail in an exchange of blows like this. If only it were an exchange of wits instead. That seemed like something Kenta wouldn't be very well prepared for. "Is that it? Can't say I'm against that sort of reason, but..." She was pretty into the first one, but it seemed like that was fake. Or something. Oh well. In any case, this was a battle Kanon was here to win now. "Don't let up! Keep Pecking!" Not that Ursula could do much else.
  6. The matches were confirmed. And Hibiki was fighting against... Yuudai! He was the redhead with the muscles, right? And his partner was, fitting for someone in 1-A, somebody she'd never heard of before! As the arena around them changed and Hibiki was met with her foes, her shoes suddenly felt rather wet. And this place kinda smelled. It was... a swamp!? Hibiki would be lying if she said this was an ideal environment, but now that she could fly, that would be alleviated. Or so she thought, until she started forward much in the same manner as she had with her previous flights... then tripped on a tree's roots, falling face-first onto the murky ground below. Gross. Hibiki got back up to her feet, eyeing her opponents over. "Hey, Rock," the bat girl said. "Have you got a good throwing arm?" "I see... That girl is Valerie Clark. She's quite physically able and tends to go all out all the time in what she's doing so, it would do best not to dawdle or take it slow against her." "Got it. Go for the throat!" When the arena changed, Yuri was thrilled to see she and her teammate were now in a large sports stadium, facing off with her opponents. "Hi, Pip!" Yuri looked around, distinctly less thrilled at the lack of stands filled with adoring fans. But surely the teachers were watching this fight! Close enough... for now. But a soccer field... oh yeah. This was her element. Before Yuri could make much of a move though, the 1-B girl ran forward, and blasted fire directly at Yuri! With a yelp of surprise, the girl dove to the side, barely avoiding the tips of her hair getting singed. "What was that for!?" Yuri exclaimed, as she hurried back up to her feet and started sprinting toward her foes. From her body, a thick trail of black smoke was left in her trail. "Not even a hello first, I'll show you!" Yuri continued forward, until she was just a bit past the soccer ball in the middle of the field, before sharply turning to the side, obscuring the enemy views of the ball. She turned back around, making a beeline for the ball, which she proceeded to kick directly in the incredibly rude girl's direction with more oomph than her tiny frame would suggest she had. "I was on the soccer team in junior high, I'll have you know!"
  7. "This will kill you. We're twenty stories up. On a scale from a sprained ankle to a pancake, you will make one convincing breakfast." "That is a drop shadow. This is not first edition. You might make a hundred dollars off of this if you sold it to an idiot. Do I look like an idiot?"
  8. I'll do you next time because you posted and I didn't get the popup for it.
  9. "Things aren't bad. Aside from all of these people owing me money." "I dunno, it's more of a principle thing." "Okay then stop thinking about it. Whichever one you're doing, do the opposite." "Not yet. Intimidate first, kill later. Is KGB 101."
  10. "Because I stayed up until half four in the morning, laying out this intricate necromancer dungeon, and it's no fun for me if some idiot comes along, and dies slipping on the bloody doormat!" a quote from a comedy sketch and then the full sketch

I encourage the posting of weird shit. Song was going well until about the 3:30 mark, and then it nosedived like it was trying for an olympic medal. Only to stop doing so at about the 5:40 mark trying to pretend everything's alright in a rather drawn-out outro. 2/10. HEY NOWROCK STARSHOW ON... PLAY 6/10 I don't wanna tho. 5/10, at least nobody will have trouble remembering the lyrics. OP's suggestion. We're back to posting Touhou remixes boiz, and with 17.5 having been recently announced and unveiled, let's post a remix for someone who reprised her role as a boss for this game. 7/10
  12. Why didn't I get a card? :'( Generation Next is a pretty neat card. More HERO support isn't really something we need, but it'd be rude to leave Jaden out and it's also Neo-Spacian support. So that's nice. Probably my favorite of the bunch.
  13. Day 9, 8:00, Arena Points: 56 W/L Record: 3/3 "Heeeeeyyyy Aurora!" A familiar head of blue hair merrily made its way over to where Aurora had been sitting with her breakfast, just as she downed the last of it. Aurora gave Xia a friendly wave as the dragon girl got closer. "Are you exploring the big city today too?" The big city, huh? Checking it out certainly seemed nice, but... "I'd love to do some exploring, but I'm all swamped with stuff to do today." Counting off today's agenda on her fingers, Aurora continued "Event battles are functional again so I have to do the one I signed up for a few days ago. My regular Arena fight too, of course. I was thinking about checking out local sports teams too, see if I could get into a game. It would be good for my reputation, and probably my wallet. Plus I wanted to do a bit of research about setting up my own personal business. And whatever else may come up along the way." Busy day, indeed. "You can come tag along for all that non-fighting stuff if you want, though!" Xia as an athlete seemed like a more worthy opponent than Cyanthrax as a gunslinger.
  14. "Well, it's our last free day before school starts. So we should probably get going and um...do something...like...get ready for school! I'm sure there's an office supply store somewhere, right?" "Ah, yeah, sure, sounds good to me. Let's go do the thing. We got the whole day ahead of us after all." School shopping they would go then! Vivian tagged along, not exactly raring to go to go shopping for school supplies, but certainly not opposed to it either. In the end, Stella had chosen a place called Clips. The name sounded familiar. There was probably one in Vivian's city or something. The girl then began listing off all manner of school supplies, as well as the possibility of asking the vice principal about if they were allowed to bring their own chairs into the dorms. Vivian couldn't see any reason why not, but it was probably good to ask all the same. Though it all begged the question of where to start shopping... "Notebooks sound like a good place to start," Vivian suggested. "We'll be using them all year, so we should start with the more permanent stuff and get ones we really like."
  15. Pretty sure it's like two sheep for one tablet I can't read Sumerian.
  16. I don't have to think; I know it has. The most immediately notable impact it's had was Lordi becoming one of my favorite bands of all time after IRS posted this song to start off the thread on the old site. There have also been a couple DAGames songs between this site and the old one (Instruments of Cyanide and Get Out in particular), as well as a handful of other songs from various bands/channels. It was also the first step responsible for my gradual warming up to the idol genre as a thing that exists across several forms of media; we've got Cow and Mirei to thank for that one for the most part. More recently, I've also been quite enjoying the music Darkness contributes, letting me dip my toes into a genre I'm not familiar with. The impact it's had wasn't life-changing or anything, but it's certainly there. More important than that though, I hope I've been able to introduce members who contribute the thread to new music they enjoy, be it directly through my own suggestions or from them listening to songs others post. Now then, a lot of things have happened since I've been asked about favorite/least favorite heroic spirits, so I'm gonna revisit those questions. I've re-evaluated what it means to call a Servant my favorite/least favorite, thought about the ones that fill me with joy/hate, and responded accordingly this time. Also gonna include a special #0 slot for each this time. Consider it Fate's equivalent to EX rank; something I can't measure through conventional means, so they belong in their own category. Also, something got fucky with the text editor along the way, so if the spacing in these is weird, that's why. #5 #4 #3 #2 #1 #0 #5 #4 #3 #2 #1 #0

  19. Location: Trailsau (Team Alola, day 27) Inventory: Good Rod, Antidote, Kasib Berry "So uhh...what took ya two so long? Here I was starting to think we'd have eaten all the grinds by the time you came back." Keanu presented a fair point. Whatever Randy and Marie had been busy with, it had to have been pretty time-consuming. Whatever it was. "Well, Trevor's place is a bit of a walk to get to. Then, we just kind of talked. This town really is something else, don't you think guys?" "Yeah, Trevor met us half way and took Allie the rest of the way...that Flygon is a mystery to me...but it's whatever. Anyway, but like Marie said, me and her just talked. It's not often me and her just chit chat...ya know, without her yanking on my ear. Still, least this whole thing isn't dealing with me being in prison like in Mowloo... But yeah, out of all the locations we've been to so far...it's something more out of the ordinary..." "It's a weird town," Nani commented. It was certainly something else, and maybe it was just her, but she didn't like the way the culture of this town worked. "I get the reason for fighting Heatran in particular, but going at it all the time among themselves without rhyme or reason seems like a waste. Especially in a barren environment like this. Compared to everything else we've seen in this region though, it doesn't seem like it's really a problem..." A problem was something like basically a war against local tribes in the jungle. A problem was mysterious creatures from who knows where invading your home region. What was going on in Trailsau still struck Nani as barbaric and pointless, but... "In the end, it seems like everyone gets along all the same. Maybe they just bond differently around here. It makes you wonder if it's like that for the entire region." That would certainly be something. "Speaking of which, where should we go next? Or rather, which direction? Unless we'd rather try to settle down here or something."

Remember when I said I didn't like the goblin song because it had a good base but never really expanded upon it? This is a great example of how to expand upon a good base. 8/10. You're one of my favorite people to rate music from because I never have the slightest idea what to expect. Have I ever told you that? 5/10 Hello 2017 my old friend. I feel like I should also warn you in advance that if you come here in November/December just to bombard my thread with christmas music, I'm going to just ignore you entirely. 8/10 I'd fuck a vampire. 9/10. OP's suggestion. I felt like shitposting at first while I busy myself with some host work for Skies, but then I decided not to. 9/10
  21. All accepted. I'll start adding them to a roster in the opening post in just a second.

I'm too used to the Neil Cicierega version. I can still hear "bustin' bustin' bustin' bustin' bustin' bustin'" in my head as I listen to this. A 6/10 classic. ehhhhh... 5/10 Ministry is a band I'm fairly familiar with, but mostly from their (very good) covers. Mostly. It's odd to think Everyday is Halloween is their most popular track. 5/10 at best imo. OP's suggestion. Tonight I remembered Cel Damage was an amazing game, but I forgot until I started playing it again that the soundtrack is way too good for what it is. 8/10
