  3. Gosh that's... Well... That's a tough one. In Awakening, my basis is telling me to do the Cordelia/M!Robin conversation, because dammit, she is actually my first waifu, and I do love the actual conversation, with Robin helping her overcome her insecurities and move on past the death of her squad and her unrequited love for Chrom. But I also really love Lon'qu/F!Robin, and Owain with both Morgans. Aaaaargh. For Fates... Look... Everyone knows I don't like Corrin. I think they're a black hole of an self insert that sucks away all the personality of every other character. But one of my favorite interactions is Corrin and Nyx. I don't know why Nyx is still interesting after interacting with Corn, but... It happened. And marrying her is kinda sweet. Honorable mentions: Saizo and the village girl (I forgot her name). It's one of the few times Saizo is never an asshole and I kinda like he can relax around her. Any Arthur one. Just... That not!American Gaston is great. I still need to unlock more supports in 3 Houses before I can give my final thoughts on it.
  4. How do you feel about Ushiwakamaru?
  5. "Kazo, look out, you can't take that thing head on!" That almost felt like a laughable understatement. A large meteor was now in the sky, all wrapped by a dragon looking down at him. Was this the strongest Dragon move, Draco Meteor? It had to be, there was no way it wasn't. And it was coming straight at him. Ari fired off some Embers at it, but it didn't seem to do anything to it. Kazo wanted to be brave, to stand his ground, and fight back with a giant beam, stopping the meteor in its tracks like some great hero. He wasn't some great hero though. He wanted to live. Kazo took a step back, before breaking into a run, doing his best to get out of the blast range of the massive attack. He could feel the force of the attack as it connected with the ground, the shockwave from the attack knocking him off of his feet and crashing into the ground. "Ow, ow, ow...," Kazo muttered as he tried to get back onto his feet, seeing the effect the attack had on the ground, which was shattered beyond belief. He couldn't even imagine what such an attack would do to him if he let it hit. He sighed and stood back up, ready to fight. There was no way Zekrom could do such an attack twice in a row, right? "Never let it be said that you mince your words, Denku." Easter commented, to which Denku chuckled. "Damn straight," Denku answered. "Life's too short to beat around the bush," Especially when it came to his own. It didn't matter though. All he wanted to do right now was rest. However, Manphany's voice called out, making Denku force himself to sit up to listen to her. "I....thank you." She said. "I didn't know, even out here, there were so many who would attack us. I have been mistaken in thinking it was safe." She looked over to Phione before continuing. "I have decided to go to the surface with you....if you're okay with that. I can make the trip much faster. There's...somewhere I have to go." And away they went. Manaphy could control the bubble super well, and they soon made it back to the to the S.S. Showdown. After a bit of convincing, they climbed back aboard, where the Captain greeted them with arms wide open. "Welcome back, my lovelies. And Denku." He inclined his head towards the Pupitar, to which Denku just gave an acknowledging nod. "I see you've brought with you some more guests. Manaphy I presume, charmed." He bowed to the woman. "Erm...why do you have Rayquaza's ship?" she asked. The Captain winced, causing Denku to blink. Well, there must be a story behind that. "I, well, borrowed it you see. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that you're safe and sound." "... He borrowed without permission, didn't he?" Denku muttered. "I need to see Rayquaza. Can you take me to him? I need somewhere safe for Phione." "I suppose I can't turn down a lady such as yourself." To the others he said "I hope you don't mind a bit of a detour. You'll be with us for a bit longer. We just got a new batch of, er, loot, recently. Feel free to dig around see if something catches your eye." "Another detour, huh? Well, I suppose going to a place full of legends maybe helpful to me," One of them might know where Kazo was, right? Right. "I guess I'll go 'dig around,' then. I am a pirate, after all," Easter winked at Captain before glancing at the others. "You coming with?" "Sure. Maybe we'll find something useful," Denku stated with a shrug. It was worth a shot.
  6. >I scratch my chin again. "I'm all for allies, but knowing at the very least what class your Servant is would help build some trust. Don't worry, we'll tell our classes to after you do. That way all the cards are on the table, yeah? It'll make making plans easier to,"
  7. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. The FGO Babylon anime is being done by A-1? *looks at episode 8*

    A-1 did that?!

there seems to be some kind of misconception about what A-1 studios is, or even how anime studios in general tend to work

A-1 itself is an extremely large studio with multiple divisions that each work on different anime. SAO is still airing this season alongside FGO so naturally the staffs working on each are different (not to mention SAO's had a visual upgrade since last season). A-1 also did kaguya from a few seasons if anyone's familiar with that and that's naturally very different from FGO or SAO.

also most anime are heavily made with the involvement of freelancers who are not bound to a specific studio. its actually not that productive to judge how good an anime will be just from knowing the studio. its only with a small number of studios that you can easily predict how it'll be made (for example kyoani because they make a lot of stuff in-house or SHAFT because its director shinbo is almost always involved). A-1 making FGO's babylonia anime is not that impressive. whats impressive are the freelance talents behind this project.

  12. "My my, Mr. Cloak... what a scary aura." Lopt leaned forward with his elbows on the table, chin resting on his palms. "Is there any harm in sticking around to get to know your fellow Jaeger?" Sieg's grip on the door knob suddenly tightened, the mutant gritting his teeth. "Don't get it wrong. I'm not a Jaeger," Sieg kept his voice even, even if he was irritated. Honestly, even being a Jaeger would be even a lot more acceptable than what he had become. "Ooh, me!" The one that might be human said, waving his hand. "I'm starving!" He said with a short laugh. "Anything is fine - s'long as it taste good!" Sieg just gave him a thumbs up, but before he could leave... "Ah my dear Dragon Slayer." Dr. Jekyll stood up. Of course he'd pick now to actually do something. "Whether it's true this time, or whether this was your excuse to escape my debriefing, I took the liberty in being prepared. One must be prepared for any and every scenario, am I wrong?" At this moment, a few A.R.C.H. employees entered the room, wheeling serving carts filled to the brim with an assortment of food. At least he did something right, even if this was the wrong time to do it. "With that in mind, Dragon Slayer, kindly return to your seat." "Damn you Eric," Sieg internally cursed, headed back to his seat, moving it to be closer to the table. He took a plate and started to stack it almost comically high with food, making sure to have plenty of meats and eggs on his plate. He went to eat before he realized... his cloak was still on. eating with it on risked getting it dirty, and frankly, he was sure that the people who took care of his clothes were looking for any reason to burn the old thing. He wouldn't give them any excuse to do so. Still, de-cloaking around the others wasn't something he wanted to do, but he figured it had to happen sooner or later. He quickly took the cloak off, folding it up and placing it neatly on the back of his chair before plopping back down in his seat, brushing some of his white hair out of his face. He quickly placed his hands in front of him, muttering a quick prayer under his breath before digging in. The food was better than usual, at the very least. He listened to Jekyll's words as he eat, already nearly halfway done with his tower of food by the time Jekyll finished. The Fahlyn, was it? He had traveled quite a bit and hadn't seen any, nor did he hear about any such creatures. Maybe they were hiding? That implied a sort of intelligence though, and that was concerning. "Now, I have an assignment for you lot, but before I present it...please, I know you have quite a number of questions for me. Ask and I will answer them to the best of my abilities." "I have a question, Doctor," Lucine said, after taking down a couple strips of bacon. "You said most of Wilhelm. Does that mean there are still survivors?" "I have a question to," Sieg commented, biting into an apple. Something didn't feel right... he had to fish for some info. "Do you think that's there's a lot of them, or that there's only a few, but they're very powerful?" He was sure that only three people in this room could wipe out a colony of them, even without him. So why did Jekyll get so many people?

  14. "Why are you spending your time on that? You already have the spear, is that not enough? What good does it do to try and learn something like magic?" Raynor looked up to a wyvern glowering to his mount and Rona looking down at him. Was... was she really trying to rub in last night's defeat in his face? That bitch! Raynor suddenly shut the book, a loud thud resounding through the area. "Okay, let me... explain," he managed to get out through a strained smile and gritted teeth. Raynor knew he shouldn't just jump to conclusions, he knew that Rona probably wasn't being a bitch, but the recent taste of defeat and his lack of sleep made him pretty irritable at the moment. He spun around on his mount so he was face Rona as he sat crossed legged, taking a deep breath. "If my spear was enough, then I wouldn't have fell yesterday to a damn skeleton. I would still be there in the entire battle, keeping everyone safe instead of being dead weight laying on the ground waiting for someone to put me out of my misery," Raynor explained as delicately as he could. "Besides, I'm descended from Roakar Knights, some who had their names forever etched into history!" Talking about his lineage made him excited again, taking away some of his irritated tone. "If I can't do something like casting magic, then do I really deserve to stand among their ranks after I die in a glorious battle?"
  15. As Zirco drove down the roads, he realized something was very odd, something that made absolutely no sense, especially in a city such as this. The roads were completely empty. Not one other driver could be seen on the empty roads. The four of them just had the wide open streets to themselves. Looking to the sides, Zirco couldn't see any people outside, at least no one he could see as he sped by. This couldn't be right. It was in the middle of the morning, people should be out, headed to work, or going to school, or something. Why was no one around then? "Anyone else finding it odd we don't gotta weave through traffic?" Zirco asked, his voice breaking through the wind in the radios their helmets contained. "Turbo is a busy city... right?" He honestly didn't know, but he expected more than... this! Suddenly, the sounds of sirens filled the air. Looking behind them, Zirco could see three motorcycles slowly gaining on them. Each one had the word Security painted on them. A new voice crackled over the speakers. "You are breaking the curfew, and thus in violation of Rule 390-53. Head home now, or come downtown with us," The voice commanded. Zirco gritted his teeth. They didn't have time for this! "Tora, help me out, will ya?" Zirco suddenly hit the brakes, rapidly dropping behind the group, and directly into the path of one of the Security Enforcers. Said enforcer quickly swerved to the right, accidentally heading off to a different road. While this happened, Zirco held out an arm, clotheslining a different enforcer, causing him fall off his D-Wheel and crash into the wall. One middle finger to the third officer later, and Zirco had the third enforcer following him down the same path the one that had swerved away went to. "Tora and I will duel these guys and keep 'em busy. You two find Kyouji or the cultists!" Zirco called out as he soon disappeared on the road, said road climbing higher into the sky. As the group had decided what they wanted to do, a sudden explosion came from the bank in front of them. Three bank robbers rushed out of the establishment, bags of cash in their hand as they jumped into a car, the wheels squealing as they took off. While this in and of itself wasn't unusual for the area, the next sight certainly was... although not for people that had lived here for a long time. What seemed to be a skeletal horse with a flaming suit of armor leapt out of the bank, and rushed down the street, chasing after the robbers. Certainly a sight to behold. To those undeterred by such a sight, the store was not that far off. Behind the counter was a bored looking teen, obviously not into the job, and shocking, it seemed decently stocked, if not a bit dirty. There were snacks in the front and center of the store, and drinks in the back, ranging from soda to beer. There also were a few people wandering in the store, although if they intended to pay for their food remained to be determined...

  18. "hey, hey guys! Heeeyyy! There's a door down here! Like, a closed one, not moving and stuff!" So it seemed that the archer had followed him down there. It showed how dark it was, seeing as he had absolutely no clue she was there. He was lucky it was her and not some sort of assassin. He'd be a dead man otherwise. "Hm... I don't suppose you found another key?" "I rather you burn it down. Obviously a door this well hidden and locked isn't here because of good intentions," Shiro pointed out. Still, he'd play it their way if he had to. The archer seemed to have found something, although he had no clue what it was supposed to be. Some sort of panel with five As on it. "What's with all these letters?" Shiro muttered. "Some sort of message? Or maybe how the occupant organized his keys?" If he had even more hidden areas, then it might have made sense that they used a letter system to help remember what key went where.
  19. "That's right, keep going, you three are doing perfect!" Zekrom called out. Kazo had to admit, it was weird, but also felt kinda nice getting so much praise from someone, let alone a legend. "Nice try, good form!" He said as he swung his fist at Kazo's head. The force of the attack sent Kazo flying to the side, although it didn't hurt as much as it could have. Mac went on the offensive, avoiding Zekrom's attack while throwing mud into his face. "Fighting dirty, but guess that's only fair, smart!" He said. "Um, could you stop praising? It's....distracting." Mac asked. "Better than trashtalking!" Ari piped up before going for his attack. "Agreed," Kazo called out before taking a big breath, the biggest one he had ever taken. He needed to keep making a good impression. When he took in all the air he could, he released his Dragon Breath attack, hoping to hit the legend from a distance. Denku was a bit surprised by Brooke's combo. She had set the enemy up like a volleyball and spiked it right into his Dark Pulse. He had to admit... that was pretty cool. He landed on the ground, skidding to a stop near the edge of the bubble. It seemed Manaphy was the clean up crew, as she had used her powers to toss away all the bodies. That was handy, to say the least. "All in a day's work, hmm?" "If this was work, then we should be getting paid overtime," Denku quipped back as he fell over on his butt, taking some deep breaths. "You sure you shouldn't be taking care of those cuts? You look like crap right now,"
