Kace face was stone cold as he glared down David, who seemed to be shocked that he was shot. So his stand had some sort of range limit, as he guessed. He turned his attention back towards Joanna, who was cooped up under some cover as the bullets kept raining down above her. He turned his attention back towards David, a smirk on his face. "Not so cocky now kid, eh!? Like I said, this ain't my first rodeo!" He shouted in an attempt to talk over the blaring sound of machine gun fire. "I can tell this is your first. Shame, it's gonna be you're last too." As he prepared to fire another shot from the rifle, however, he was suddenly interrupted when his wall of guns suddenly faded to dust as the wall they were mounted on shattered into shards of glass. "Not again..." He muttered, now being surrounded by who he could only assume were more stand users. Not only that, but now he had to be mindful not to shoot his partner, although in that instance he very much would have liked too. Most of the machine guns in the ceiling stopped firing as Kace made his way towards『21 GUNS』who was spawning a Tommy Gun from the ground. The only machine guns that were still firing were the ones above Joanna's cover. Kace picked up the gun from the ground, aiming it towards the new duo that he now had to deal with while he walked away from David. Meanwhile, the rifle on the other side of the room fired once more, its sights aimed at David yet again. "And here I thought things were going to go smoothly for once." Kace fired his gun at the two boys, gritting his teeth. He was hoping things wouldn't go south this hard, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't expecting it. This wasn't the first time Fox had fucked him over like this. Hopefully, it wouldn't be the last either.

The situation in the forest seemed to get worse and worse as the group marched on. Lucia noticed that, as they marched, fewer and fewer animals seemed to approach her, until it got to the point where they were actively avoiding her. Luckily for her, her current transformation didn't enhance her sense of smell, as a putrid aroma filled the air. Ann mentioned about something around them hungering for blood, which wasn't a very pleasant thing to hear, but as far as she could see there was nothing around them just yet. Of course, what was around them was the carcass of a bear, or what was left of it. Now she was very lucky to not have enhanced scent right now, as the smell of the dead body was already pretty bad as it was. She was used to bad smell, but she couldn't recall anything that was as bad as this. She walked up next to Nika, taking a closer look at the bone pile. It seemed to be a pile of various animal bones, probably left by whatever did this. "Fox. Hawk. Badger. So many different bones..." She said, hand over her nose. "...nothing human, though. Not yet." She took a glance around her, trying to see if she could see the creature around them. "Stay on guard! Whatever did this is obviously some kind of predator. Anything that makes a bear its prey is not a thing you mess with." She said, turning her head in the other direction, wary of any kind of ambush.

Lok Team ThunderWaves As they marched on, it seemed to get colder and colder. The floor was covered in a thin layer of snow as Lok blew a stream of cold air, watching it swirl in front of him. Notably the room was empty, as Keanu pointed out. "If only..." Lok said, shivering. "There's no way it's gonna be that easy." Unfortunately, he was right, as a gijinka Lok had never seen appeared in the room. She seemed to know Keanu, both of them being Alolans. Whatever that meant. Lok frowned a bit as she spoke, saddened by what she was saying. Her home place had been attacked by some kind of creatures, and their legends were unable to stop the onslaught. It was all tragic, and Lok could almost understand where she was coming from. However, there was no siding with the slayers. Lok's hands lit up in a purple flame as Keanu and Kalia finished exchanging words, the ice lady not being swayed by his words. "We won't let you destroy Adarid!" It was going to be hard to actually hit her, as he watched her disappear into the snowy mist. Why did they have to fight two fast opponents back to back? It didn't matter, Lok would just have to keep an eye on Taiga, as the two were duking it out. As soon as Taiga manged to clamp down on their opponent's sword, Lok fired a Will-o-Wisp at her direction, hoping that Taiga's hold on her would let him land his attack. Scarlet Team SuperPower The change from metal to sand was an odd one, especially since it seemed like this was a deep pile of it. It was aggravating, as she had to keep moving to not sink into the pit. Across the room was their next opponent. Scarlet got into a battle ready position. "Alright punk! Let's get thi-" Scarlet let out a gasp, sinking slightly into the sand as she stood there. He recognized the man; that voice. Alarik, the man who she had heard heroic tales of long ago, was the man that broke her out of prison. And he was with the Godslayers. It was a lot to take in, as Scarlet let out a growl. "Alarik... how could you!? I looked up to you!" She said angrily, shuffling forwards through the sand. "You were a hero to us - no, you were a hero to me! Not just back at Fryst, but ever since I heard the stories of you back when I was a wee Scyther!" She swung her arm to the side in a fit of rage. "You, who once were a symbol of piece, now side with these... these monsters!" She took a deep breath, staring daggers at the man, as the others sprang into action. "No matter..." She said, letting out a sigh. "I've come too far to be stopped now!" Her wings started fluttering wildly, sending small gusts of sands from the storm swirling around them. "I, Scarlet, will put an end to the slaughter these Godslayers have brought to the land! Even if I have to go through you, Platinum Peacekeeper!" She darted towards her hero, striking his armor with a Bullet Punch, ready to spring off of him when he did his counter attack. He knew how he fought from what she heard form the stories. This wasn't going to be easy.

"Of course..." Kace said bitterly, rolling his eyes as he was now left alone with the two stand users, one of which was running straight at him. Cracking his knuckles, Joanna's charge would be stopped by a sudden wall of rocket launchers that emerged from the ground in front of her. "Why can't I go one mission without someone fucking something up." As he said that, blunderbuss barrels jutted out of each launcher, firing in Joanna's direction. He glanced towards the rest of the room, assessing what he was dealing with. He was surrounded on both fronts, as he found himself walking towards the opposite corner of the room from Alex. The only thing notable he saw were the two stand users attacking him and another, who seemed to be just trying to survive the bullets. He turned towards David, giving him a menacing glare from behind his glasses. "Well, since it's just us..." A wicked grin stretched on his face, the guns on the ceiling now consisting of only futuristic heavy machine gun barrels above everyone except Kace and his stand. "LIGHT 'EM UP,『21 GUNS』!" On command, the ceiling started blasting wildly at the people in the room. "RATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATA!" There was still, however, the issue of David. Kace wasn't sure what capabilities『WAYWARD SON』had, only that it was some kind of protection stand. Kace snapped his fingers, prompting『21 GUNS』to slam its face into the floor, cracking it in the process. From the far end of the room, opposite of where the three stand users were, appeared a rifle from the wall. With a click that was masked by the other gunfire, the rifle fired, aiming its shot directly at David. Every Stand had a flaw, after all, and Kace was going to figure out how to break『WAYWARD SON』.

Kai crossed his arms, giving the skeletons one last nervous glance, before turning to the blonde women that was calling him over. "I'm takin' that as a yes!" He said, making his way towards the group. Turns out they were, in fact, cool with the skeletons. Which just made all of this even stranger. "So I'll take it this ain't where we doin' our little meeting?" He said, turning around towards... whatever the hell was happening. They were dueling a monster, and now there was some sort of clown with a flute? It seemed like they were able to play cards and impact the field, as if it was a duel. Turning towards his duel disk, he got an idea. "Sorry, can't stay to chit-chat. Got a school to save." He said, his disk coming to life as he drew cards from his deck. "Cute cards you Blue Yonder lot have..." He said, making his way next to the duelists. "Amateurs! I'll show this clown how a real duelist does it!" The girl in the hat He raised one of the cards in his hand up into the air. "First, I use the effect of Galaxy Soldier to Special Summon it in Defense Position by sending Cyber Dragon Herz to the Grave!" The metallic soldier came on the field, already in Defense Positon. "Now that I sent Herz to the Graveyard, I can add a Cyber Dragon to my hand from my Deck! I can also add another Galaxy Soldier thanks to my Soldier's effect!" After searching for the two cards in question, he smirked. "Now, I activate the effect of Cyber Dragon Nachster! By discarding the Cyber Dragon I added to my hand, I can Special Summon it!" The small robotic worm appeared on the field in Attack Position, seemingly unaffected by the binding effect around them. "Now I use the effect of Nachster to Special Summon the Cyber Dragon I just discarded!" On command, the Cyber Dragon came onto the field, before quickly being bounded by the effect on the field. However, this didn't matter, as Kai's grin got wide. "With Galaxy Soldier and Cyber Dragon, I Xyz Summon Cyber Dragon Nova on the field!" The two monsters combined in a flash of light, leaving the sleek black cybernetic dragon in its wake. Kai wasn't done though. "Now, I overlay my Cyber Dragon Nova with Cyber Dragon Calamity!" Nova let out an ear piercing screech as it too was surrounded by a flash of light, leaving a much more darker and organic looking Cyber Dragon. He turned his attention towards the Relinquished, which now had a good number of skeletons on it. "Move, you boney freaks!" He commanded, pointing towards the monster. "Calamity! Null Terminal Pulse!" On command, the oozy dragon let out a roar, sending a pulse of dark, purple energy towards the monster. Any of those skeletons that didn't heed his warning would be caught in the explosive attack as Kai cackled. "THIS is how it's done!"

"Finally..." Ivan said with a hint of annoyance, wiping his brow as he saw the last Vullably was dealt with. He turned towards Kyu, giving the Vulpix a thumbs up. "Good work!" The Vulpix didn't respond, taking a moment to catch its breath. "Yeah, you should rest up." He returned Kyu back to his ball, turning towards the other two. He turned towards the pile of rubble, seeing the weird bear Pokemon poke out of it. It was poining at him, or his jacket. He wasn't sure. "The jacket? Oh, it's... fine..." He said, voice straining as he lamented his jacket one last time. "Yeah! Don't worry about it." He said, turning to Jacklyn. "Don't be ridiculous. It got torn up by those bastard birds...!" He said angrily, taking off the jacket. "I guess it'll make going through the desert a bit easier." He turned back towards the bear. Jacklyn was right, they couldn't just leave the poor Pokemon here. Letting out a sigh, Ivan walked up to the bear slowly. "Come with me, we're getting you out of here." He didn't have any Pokeballs on him, so he'd have to carry the bear back. And so, he keeled down and opened his arms, waiting for the bear to tag along.

"Of course!" Lucia responded, wincing a bit when she called her Cucuy. It was her codename, but it would take some time to get used being called that regularly. They were looking for some sort of Amalgam. For a moment, she considered what would happen if she were to use her Id on it, if it would even work with her Id due to the genetic mashup that this creature would theoretically be. Apparently it had weird abilities - would she inherit those? Her attention was brought towards Akiko, as she brought up her concern. Lucia knew her Id from the lab examination, at least to some extent, and she knew the girl was right. She nodded. "We'll keep you safe, don't worry!" She said, turning towards Cade, who also assured her and Ann. Ann's scan of the area didn't reveal anything about the amalgam - if it was out there, it was healthy. As they were talking about their plan, Lucia noticed a hawk a bit off the distance. The ability to fly would be pretty useful to scout the area, although due to it being a forest there was a limit to that, but more importantly hawks had astonishingly good eyesight. Plus, she had never used her abilities on a bird or prey like this before. "Hold that thought." She said to Ann, making her way towards the hawk. Much to her surprise, the hawk wasn't startled as Lucia slowly walked towards it. It was the same with the spider earlier, and she had noticed it with other animals before coming here. Her Id seemed to have some sort of soothing effect on animals, which was helpful. Seeing as the hawk was high up on the tree, Lucia decided to try and whistle for it, extending her arm out. Much to her surprise, the hawk came down, landing on her arm. Lucia winced as its talons pierced her skin, but they left nothing more than light scars. "Thanks, friend." She said, petting the top of the bird's head as she felt her body start to warm up. The bird let out a small squawk before spreading its wings once more, flying away. When Lucia returned to the group, they would see her as some sort of bird person; her legs bent the way bird legs did and had talons and, more obviously, she had a pair of wings growing out of her back. She was staggering a bit as she approached the group again, getting used to her eyesight. As she had expected, it was excellent - she could see a lot more than she had ever seen before. She now had her backpack that she brought slung over one of her feather covered shoulders, as the wings didn't allow her to wear it conventionally anymore. "Alright, let's get looking. Starting with..." Her hawk eyes snapped onto the hoof marks on the ground, gesturing the others to follow in her step. "...these." As she followed the trail, she noticed bits of fur here and there. She would occasionally stop to pick them up, noting that they seemed off, although it was hard to tell if it was actually from the amalgam or just from the local wildlife. Some of the trees were scorched, others were broken. She clearly saw other creatures in the forest, some that the others would definitely miss, but no sight of the amalgam. "I'll let you all know if I see anything." She said, taking another scan of the place.

"Took you long enough." He said bitterly as his partner in crime eventually showed up, getting『CD SPACE』out of his face for now. Honestly she was lucky, he his sights on her stand's head. The guns on the walls wavered for a bit as the ground shook,『21 GUNS』momentarily losing its balance. However, the guns managed to stay as the red beast planted its hand on the ground instead of the wall. Which just left the cocky bastard that stood next to him, asking about some game. "I don't play games, kid." He said, planting the barrel of his gun right onto the kids forehead, ready to full the trigger. However, there was something odd about his confidence, even as the cold steel rested on his head. "Guns!" He commanded. On cue, the barrels on the wall aimed right at David rained down a flurry of gunfire. However, instead of turning into a fine mist, the bullets instead seem to almost bounce off of him, flying right back towards the wall and absolutely shattering the collection of guns that dared to hit his mark. "Cute trick." He said, removing the gun from David's forehead as guns that had been damaged faded into dust, another row of guns replaced them. "But this isn't my first rodeo, punk." He said, shoving the kid back. Or, at least, he tried, as he instead felt himself be shoved back. "...how annoying." He growled, tilting his head towards his stand. "Fire!" On command, the red beast flexed its muscles. A row of flamethrowers appeared out of the ground in between him and the kid, stretching across the entire room. A similar group of flamethrowers sprouted in front of the doors now that he was sure the fox was, in fact, on the run. The flamethrowers shot immediately, creating a wall of fire splitting the room in half and blocking out the door. He wasn't sure how exactly this punk's stand worked; he'd keep an eye out just in case he was also fireproof. "Keep an eye on him, will ya?" He said to his stand, before turning his attention back towards the two. He couldn't just open fire with his partner in the room; not with the wall guns anyways. Instead, he used his revolver to fire two shots towards Joanna, making sure not to hit her opponent nor his stand.

Lok Team ThunderWaves He let out a sigh of relief as he watched Veronica finally go down. "We did it... We did it!" He shouted, pumping his fist into the air. He turned towards Keanu. "Oh, I guess I didn't introduce myself. Oops!" He said, letting out a nervous chuckle, as he pointed to himself with his thumb. "The name's Lok. It's a pleasure to meet you both, Keanu and Taiga the Terrible Tyrant Toppler Ta... no wait that was it... can I just call you Taiga?" The others talked about resting up for a bit or marching on. While he was a bit worn down, he was feeling fine for the most part. "If you need to rest, go for it, but I'm down to march onward whenever everyone else is!" Taiga seemed to be ready to barrel into action, nodding. "We didn't come this far just to be left behind!" Uncharacteristically confident, he marched onward towards the door. They might have just met, but he felt like this team could take on anything the Godslayers could throw at them. Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet was in disbelief as she watched Mia get back on her feet, stomping towards them. Her breathing was heavy, and her body was aching like crazy. Luckily, it seemed like they were actually done, as Brooke sent the Miltank tumbling to the ground with a gentle push. Scarlet let out a sigh of relief. "Oh good..." Her body was still smoking from all the Superpower she had used in such a short timespan - something she had never done before. She made a mental note to avoid exerting herself like this. Especially if she was going to use her new ability. Scarlet turned towards the others. Truth be told, she would love a moment to rest up to proper tip top shape. However, they didn't have time for that. They were on a mission. "Yeah...!" She said, walking slowly towards them. "We can't afford to waste time." "We have a world to save."

Kace gave the room another sweep, taking notes of those he thought would be an issue. "Troublesome crowd..." He muttered under his breath, cracking his neck. Somehow, he always had a knack of attracting stand users and, while he had no idea who exactly was one here, he knew there had to be at least a couple. As the mayor showed up and gave his speech, Kace got himself ready. He gave the the room one more sweep, arms crossed as he moved slightly closer towards the wall. This was the easy part, making sure nothing happened, but it was also the boring part. When he saw the spectral figure, however, he knew that the boring part was over. As the lights went off, Kace sprang into action. "『21 GUNS』" The red titan known as『21 GUNS』appeared, plantings his hand on the wall. Out of the wall appeared a revolver, of which he picked up with his right hand and fired at one of the other guards, cleanly piercing his knee. As the lights came on, Kace turned to his stand. "Now!" On command, the red titan's muscles flexed as what could only be described as a firing squad appeared out of the walls behind Kace. Various barrels from guns that even Kace didn't recognize aimed their sights at the people within. Anyone who looked up would be greeted by the barrels of a similar arrangement of guns. "Put your hands where I can see them!" Kace said, aiming his own gun at the crowd. "Any sudden movements, and I'll make mince meat out of you!" As to show he meant business, some of the assault rifle barrels fired above people's heads, leaving bullet holes on the opposite wall. He glanced over to the guards around him, one of which was on the floor bleeding. They were petrified, slowly putting their hands up as they dropped their batons. "Do I make myself clear?" He glanced over to the Joestar, obviously with her stand. "Especially you." He pointed the revolver in his hand to her, occasionally glancing over to the others around her. She had moved fast, faster than he thought she would. It would seem like his gut was right, as it always is.

Kace watched as The American Museum of Natural History slowly started getting more and more packed. Of course, Kace was there early, even before the museum was open. It was part of his job, after all, to be here and make sure everything went smoothly. He stood near one of the walls, decked in full security guard uniform alongside others. There were more guards here than usual, he noted. It made sense, though, considering the circumstances. Today was the day they pulled out that dusty skeleton from its tomb or something. Truth be told, Kace didn't give much of a shit about all of this. The only thing he knew was that he had a job to do, as he crossed his arms. The amount of people was a bit troublesome, as it made it harder to signal out any trouble makers, especially those with a stand. Still, this wasn't the first nor last time he'd have to deal with a large crowd like this - after all, he had been a bouncer at least twice in the past month alone. He'd especially have to keep tabs on that Joestar girl. It wasn't just her lineage that concerned him, he wasn't sure what it was, but he had a gut feeling about her. And his gut was never wrong.

"A whole month!?" Wada said in disbelief. Things were a lot more urgent than he had originally thought! "Don't you worry, mistah! We'll clear up the problem real quick, n then der wont be any monsters!" He was more determined than ever to stop this, not just for his mission but to help out these poor people. Wada nodded as Lach spoke. "Right right, that's a good idea. We should find out where these things are coming from so we can smash 'em!" He turned back towards the priest. "Oh, actually... did anything happen a month ago? Like anything that would cause evil monster... things... to appear and attack people?"

-April 16th, 2000- -5 AM- -Diluculo Branch 22- Lucia was awoken by the device that they had given to them. Slowly, she picked herself out of the bed, rubbing her eyes as she turned towards the source of the sound. Picking the tablet on, she winced as the bright light blinded her for a moment. As her eyes slowly adjusted to the light, she saw what seemed like notifications about their missions on it. "Pero porque tan temprano...?" She mumbled, taking a moment to read what was actually in front of her. Standing up from her bed, she pressed on the combat one. Considering when they had to meet up for it, there wasn't much reason to go back to bed. With a light sigh, she stood up, and got herself ready for the day. -April 16th, 2000- -7:00 AM- -Front Hall, Diluculo Branch 22- Lucia arrived a bit later than everyone else, having gotten caught up in conversation at the local coffee shop. Luckily, it didn't seem like she was late, as her group were just standing around, waiting for their ride. She brought her backpack which had a few things in it - notably, it had her baseball bat that was sticking out of the right side. She waved at everyone as she walked towards them, joining them as they waited. It didn't take long before their ride showed up and, on Nika's queue, they got into the shuttle. Lucia took a seat in the car, anxious about the mission that was coming up. Anxious, and excited, to get to fully use her abilities. There was a lot she didn't now yet, so much she had to experiment with.

The Vullaby launched its Gust attack towards the Vulpix, sending it staggering back. Ivan growled. "Keep firing, Ember!" As he pointed towards the bird, Kyu was already firing off another Ember towards the Vullably. The bird recoiled from the attack, glaring angrily at the jacket and the fox. Even the stoic Kyu was shaken by the Leer that the Vullaby was giving the duo. "Don't stop!" Kyu hesitated for a moment, before letting out another Ember that hit the bird once more. Angrily and suddenly, the Vullably dived in a moment of desperation, going for a Fury Attack towards the fox. While two of pecks managed to hit the Vulpix, Ivan was quick to dive into action, blocking the other three strikes of the peck. At this point, his jacket was basically torn to pieces. While normally Ivan would be able to get a new jacket, he didn't have that luxury out here now that he was on his own. Angrily, Ivan swatted the bird away and, with one last burst of Ember from Kyu, the bird went down. Ivan scowled as he took a look at his sleeves. "Damn... and I really like this one, too..." He let out a heavy sigh, turning towards Kyu. "Good work out there." He said, giving the fox a thumbs up.

Lok Team ThunderWaves As Lok fell, he emerged from the piece of bark he had been in, letting it fall into the abyss. He barely landed on the pillar, struggling to keep his balance, as he heard Veronica ramble on. He let out a growl as Veronica spoke. "You're wrong!" He shouted, gathering his footing. "I've met many of the Gods on my journey here, and I know you're wrong! Sure, some of them might be like Giratina but I've met many kind Gods! Shaymin... Azelf... " He frowned for a moment. "...Jirachi." Lightning started crackling in his hand as Veronica attacked Keanu. Now, more than ever, he wanted to take her down. "All you Godslayers have done is cause misery and pain..." He fired off the Thunderbolt towards the Godslayer. "It is you who needs to be stopped before more innocent gijinka die!" The winds howled around the bolt of lightning as it flew across the air next to the Cross Poison that was flying towards him. He couldn't dodge it, as the attack slammed into his chest, causing him to stumble back. Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet watched as the fiery ball came barreling towards her. Her legs were starting to give in as she tried to move out of the way. However, before Mia could hit Scarlet, Brooke came out of nowhere and hit the Godslayer like a volleyball, sending both of them flying. As she saw Mia fly towards Nani, she picked up on what was going on. Taking a deep breath, she did a quick Swords Dance as Mia struck the slayer. "Let's finish this!" As Nani spiked the Miltank towards Scarlet, her armor glowed red, hopefully one last time. Scarlet struck the Miltank with a Superpower'd haymaker, putting all of her power into the attack. An explosion of steam erupted from her fist as it made contact with the barreling Godslayer, sending the Miltank flying towards the wall that Brooke had smelted earlier. Scarlet let out a heavy sigh as her shoulders slumped, waiting for the debris to clear to see if this was over.

Lucia nodded as Maddy explained how their missions worked. It seemed like they were some sort of super hero group, going on various missions. The thought of that was kind of exciting, if it weren't for the danger involved. She was sure they would probably be safe... right? As the questions got answered, the tables were turned on them. Now the group were being asked a question - specifically, to share something about themselves. Lucia knew what she wanted to say, placing her baseball bat behind her neck. "I'm sure most of you could tell, but I like to play baseball!" She said with a wide grin, planting her bat back onto the ground. "Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good at it too!"

"So this was Blue Yonder Academy..." Kai said, his bag slung around his right shoulder and his Duel Disk on his arm as he stood in front of the prestigious school. Technically he wasn't suppose to be here until tomorrow to officially start his first day as a transfer, but he decided he'd scope out the place ahead of time. Get an idea as to who's ass he needed to kick. He expected to see a bunch of losers walking around their daily class day, or maybe to meet face to face with the best kid around the block for a duel. Instead he was greeted by the sight of various monsters causing havoc around the school. "...what the hell is going on!" Kai was in disbelief as to what he was watching. It took him a second to recognize some of the monsters running around - they were duel monsters, specifically level 1 ones. This was the all mighty Blue Yonder Academy? He had to double check that he was in the right place on his phone. "Yep, this is the place." With an annoyed sigh, he started walking forward. He didn't understand why there were a bunch of holograms walking around the place, nor did he know why they chose Level 1 monsters of all things. He was stopped, however, when something bumped into him. "Hey! Watch where you're go-" He was about to shoot down the moron that bumped into him, but was caught off-guard when instead of a kid it was some sort of scarecrow with a booster. It took him a second to process what had happened, but he realized these things weren't holograms. Or at least, they were some kind of solid holograms. Either way, Kai walked back a bit, staring into the sunglasses of the mechanical man. "Boy, don't tempt me!" The scarecrow shouted in a gruff, metallic tone. The metallic man raised his club before putting it down. "You're lucky, brat. I've got places to be. People to see. Don't got time to mess with some low life." "Who the hell do yo-" Before he could finish his sentence, however, the scarecrow jettison off. "Hey! Why you..!" In a fit of rage, Kai chased after the scarecrow. He wasn't sure what he could do to the monster, but he wasn't about to let some rust bucket talk to him like that. After casing after the scarecrow, and evading the other monsters, he found himself in front of what seemed to be some sort of skeleton mosh pit. In the pile of bones were the first actual people he had seen since he got here. In a huff, he made a dash towards the group of kids and the skeletons, which seemed to not be attacking them? This was so confusing. He had also lost the scarecrow at some point, which wasn't helping with his mood. "Hey!" Kai shouted towards the group, waving his arms in the air to catch their attention. "Is it always like this here!?" He stopped when a pair of skeletons gave him a particularly nasty glare. Or at least he thought they were, it was hard to tell since they didn't have eyes. Either way it was creeping him out. "Yo, are we cool with these skeletons? Please tell me we're cool with the skeletons." This was going to be an interesting school year, he could tell.

Lok Team ThunderWaves Lok barely managed to dive out of the way of the fangs flying towards him, although he wasn't able to dodge out of the way of Veronica as she swooped down on him, grabbing him by the collar. Lok felt himself crash through a couple of the poles before being lifted off of the poles below him. Lok's eyes filled with panic as he stared the Godslayer in the eyes, fangs starting to materialize. "No!" He shouted and, in the moment of panic, let out a gust of Ominous Wind from his body to try and get her off of him. The winds blew, but her grip on him didn't let up, as the fangs sunk into his shoulder through the winds that were now circling around him. He let out an agonizing shout, his leg jerking as one of the pieces of the pole he had taken fell from his pocket. Suddenly, Lok would disappear possessing the last piece of bark in his pocket as it fell towards the ground. Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet watched as Brooke's body suddenly burst into flames. However, instead of attacking Mia she attacked the arena itself, smelting it into a rougher shape. "This better work...!" Scarlet said, her wings fluttering as she watched Nani fire off a Thunder Wave. Both of them had slowed her down, now it was up to her to strike. Scarlet darted in, her armor glowing red hot once more, a trail of steam following her as she reached the Godslayer. The ringing of the bells were deafened by the battle cry she let out, striking the now-slowed Mia right in the chest with one powerful Superpower'd punch, sending her stumbling back towards the wall. Scarlet kept her assault, letting out a flurry of punches. Mia managed to block some of the attacks, her fists blazing aflame to counter act the punches. But she wasn't able to stop all the punches, her muscles tensing up occasionally from the paralysis. When the blows ended, Mia was once again with her back against the wall, more steam leaving Scarlet's body as her breath got heavier. Despite her weakened body language, however, her eyes were still fierce as she glared down the Godslayer in front of her.
