  1. Po wasn't sure why he had order for a Tackle, but he didn't really care, as he threw his body at the Vulpix. Startled, the Vulpix wagged its tail back and forth, causing Po's defense to lower from the Tail Whip. As this was happening, Ivan felt something tap his foot. Looking down, he saw a Pokeball. "What the-" He said, turning towards Belle who was distracted with her own thing. He was a little annoyed she wasn't really paying attention, but knew his opportunity when he saw it. He was pretty sure it was empty, although it would have been really embarrassing if it wasn't. With a toss, Ivan chucked the Pokeball towards the Vulpix, bumping it on the head as the familiar red beam of light shot out of it. He anxiously saw the ball bob back and forth. He was sure he had weakened it enough to catch it, but you never knew when it came with catching Pokemon. He let out a sigh of relief as the ball let out a click. He walked over to the Pokeball that now had a Vulpix in it, before putting it away. He turned back to Belle. "And it's as easy as..." He was now witnessing Belle trying to fight a Fletchling with her Ratatta, although it looked more like her Poamoo was fighting the rat. "You could say that." He said bluntly, as Po walked in front of him to get a closer view at the fiesta that was these two Pokemon. His eyes drifted towards the Ratatta, as Po wondered what had the rat done to be restrained like this. Ivan crossing his arms. "You sure this Ratatta ain't more trouble than it's worth? I mean it's just a Ratatta..."
  2. Giratina's Lair Team Karaoke As Lok's attack struck, he watched as Giratina turned her attention towards him, those accursed eyes glaring into his soul. As he watched Giratina raise their arm, he raised both of his in front of him in a cross, purple flames starting to form in the one without the stone. However, instead of attacking him, Giratina attacked the others. Growling, Lok launched the Hex he had in his hand towards Giratina. "Pay attention!" He shouted, as Giratina's body contorted out of the way of the attack. A sinister grin stretched on her face as her body once more began to fade into shadows, leaving behind her sinister glare. Lok waited for the scream to echo around the cave and, just like before, Giratina appeared in front of him, arm swinging. However, this time it was Lok who disappeared, as he used his ability to posses the stone in his hand. Giratina looked confused as she slammed her arms into the ground, sending dust and the stone Lok was in into the air. Just as suddenly as he had disappeared, he popped right out of the stone, appearing on top of Giratina and, placing his hands on her, firing off another Will-o-Wisp Giratina let out a howl, although it sounded more like it came from frustration more than anything, as Lok managed to land the attack. Giratina's body violently twisted around as she swung one of her claws towards Lok, who was caught off-guard by the sudden attack. However, instead of feeling the legend's claws brutally slash into him, he instead felt Kayla crashing into him as she managed to get in between the attack and him. Lok and Kayla tumbled onto the ground, although Kayla was able to land on her feet as Giratina angrily stared the two of them down, as dragonic purple flames started festering in her mouth.
  3. Giratina's Lair Team Karaoke Lok watched in horror as Giratina killed his clones one by one, until it was just him with her. He froze up as the Legend smiled at him, clenching his fists as he rpepared for the worst. He closed his eyes, bracing himself for whatever attack Giratina had in mind, but he felt nothing. When he opened his eyes, he saw Kayla on top of Giratina. He let out a sigh of relief, relaxing his shoulders. "Thank you..." He said weakly towards Kayla, before watching her be pushed away from Giratina. "Kayla!" He shouted, turning back towards Giratina. He took a moment to catch his breath as the others fight, trying to think of something. There was no way he was going to be able to keep this up - eventually, Giratina would land another attack on him if he kept attacking her like this. However, he couldn't just sit on the sidelines and watch. This was his mission, his calling. He was gonna have to be smart about it, taking a moment to look around the ground. "Aha!" He said, picking up a particularly large stone off of the rubble of the fight. He tossed the stone in the air, before gripping it tightly in his fist. He turned back towards the fight, watching Giratina get ready to strike Nine after having knocking him back down. "Nine!" Lok shouted, firing off a Thunderbolt right at Giratina's face with his free hand. He clenched the stone in his other hand, ready to play out his plan.
  4. Giratina's Lair Team Karaoke Lok managed to strike the legend with his Hex, although he was soon facing a deadly pair of eyes which burned into his mind. Before he knew it, Giratina had vanished, although those ghastly eyes were still glaring at him. She soon appeared over him, dropping her arm straight towards him. Caught off guard, Lok tried to side step it as he felt the attack smash into his shoulder, sending him crashing down onto the ground in pain. Luckily, her attention was brought towards the other, as Giratina left Lok on the ground whimpering as he clutched his shoulder. Lok felt like it was a miracle that he even had an arm at this point, as he slowly picked himself up. His arm was still killing him as he watched the fight go on. He thought about using Confuse Ray on Giratina, but considering how well that went with Raphael, Lok could only imagine what Giratina would do in a state of madness. Lok took a deep breath, using Double Team to create two other clones of himself as Nine and Giratina went at it. He couldn't risk getting hit by another attack like that - he wasn't sure if he could take it. As he watched Nine be sent flying back by one of Giratina's attacks, Lok fired off a Hex towards Giratina, hoping to give Nine time to pick himself up, and readied himself to avoid the upcoming attack.
  5. Ivan simply gave Dinah a thumbs up, turning back to Belle. The heat wasn't doing either of them any favors, as he could tell it was wearing down on her too. Wiping his brow, he followed Belle towards a nearby patch of grass. He saw mostly Fire-types running around, which made sense considering where they were. He saw a Litleo walk by them, giving them a glare, before wandering off somewhere else. He turned towards Belle, who wasn't having much luck catching anything. He let out a sign. "Not much luck?" He said, turning back towards the grass as he let out a sigh. "One of these days I'll help ya out on this catching thing..." He said, turning back towards Jacklynn and Dinah. "But, if ya don't got anything ya wanna..." His thoughts drifted off when his eyes caught a Vulpix. An orange vulpix. "What the hell?" He said, turning his attention to the Vulpix. Had he encountered a shiny Vulpix!? But what was an Ice-type doing out here in the desert? He then remembered about regional variants, how different environments change Pokemon over years. In fact, he had seen one before - a purple Grimer without any colorful lines on it - from a tourist way back when. Was this some sort of Fire-type Vulpix? "On second thought, why don't I teach you how to catch things through example?" Ivan said, pulling out a Pokeball. "Go, Po!" The Vulpix, meanwhile, tilted its head as it saw the strange man point at it. Out of curiosity, the Vulpix slowly made its way towards the man, a bit of caution but mostly intrigue as it saw the panda appear right in front of it. The Pancham, meanwhile, turned towards the Vulpix. "Unless the Pokemon explicitly asks to join your team, you need to battle the Pokemon a bit." Ivan said, eyes locking with the Vulpix. "Po, use Arm Thrust!" The Pancham nodded, leaping towards the Vulpix and swinging its arms. This caught Vulpix off guard, although it did manage to avoid getting hit more than twice from the attack. In retaliation, the Vulpix let out an Ember, hitting Po right on its chest. Ivan reached into his bag, before realizing something crucial. He didn't have any Pokeballs. He tensed up, pausing for a second. Now this was embarrassing, to say the least. He glanced over to Belle, wondering if he should ask if she had any Pokeballs to spare. No, he couldn't. Luckily he was already sweating from the heat, so it was easy to play off his hesitation. "O-Ok, Po, go for Tackle." He said, trying to subtly remove his hand away from his bag.

  8. Giratina's Lair Team Karaoke As Lok hung his head, he heard a voice ring in his mind. Despite having never heard this voice before, he knew exactly who had spoke to him. Lok turned back around towards Giratina, nodding his head. "Understood." He said with a dire tone, turning around to see Giratina's assault on his friends. Purple orbs started circling Lok's hand as he walked away from the shadowy wall to join up with the rest of them. He fired off the purple orbs, attacking with a Hex as he stared dead into Giratina's eyes. "Th-This ends here, Giratina!" He shouted, his voice shakier than he would have liked. He felt a chill down run his spine as he awaited the Legend's next move. Temple of Time and Space Team Showdown Scarlet was excited to hear that the swords were joining in the fight against the Godslayers, but frowned when she heard that she wasn't going to be fighting alongside them. They were going down a darker path, it would seem. She then was given the option to rewrite herself. "Rewrite myself?" She said quizzically, placing her pincer on her chin. She wasn't sure what that meant exactly, but it seemed like they were getting some sort of blessing. No, it wasn't exactly that. It seemed like more of a revamp. She thought about the others in her village, remembering the techniques that she had seen, learned, and forgotten how to do. The moves she had learned all this time had been for her travels, but now things were different. For the first time in her life, she was a part of a team, and she needed moves to reflect that. "Dialga and Palkia, I ask that you let me learn the moves Tailwind and Superpower." She said, the legends nodding. Before she knew it, she felt a warmth in her chest. She could feel a newfound strength boiling under her armor, and her wings had changed too. She smiled, turning back to the legends. "Thank you." She nodded, ready to head out. And then Taiga mentioned something of a power-up. "Something like that would be helpful." She said. "We've fought against a Godslayer before, and even other legends trying to recruit them. It pains me to say this, but even with this tune up we might not be strong enough to take them on a group of them."
  9. Raijin followed the group towards the arena, whatever the hell that was. When they got there, they encountered an interesting group of people around the place, dueling each other in the arenas. A lot of them looked like pompous assholes, probably mob leaders considering this place. However, his attention was brought to a certain duo, who seemed to be fixated on Octavia. As Octavia approached the duo Raijin, not wanting to really talk to anyone else here, decided to listen in on her conversion, taking a swing of his water bottle. His ears perked up when he heard about this "Octopus" character. It didn't take very much to add two and two together. He didn't take her as the gangster type, but considering what he's seen of this place, it wasn't that shocking. Not like Raijin really cared, he just wanted to get this over with. When Octavia turned back to the group, she delivered the information that they knew where their little target was. The other two decided to back her up and, not wanting to do any sort of research on his own, chimed in. "Guess I'm coming too." He simply said, putting his hands in his pockets. "Strength in numbers and all. Plus I don't feel like it'd be a good idea to wander around here by myself."

  11. The group walked along the route, the heat becoming more and more unbearable. Still, it beat walking through the actual desert. Ivan kept an eye out for any potential challengers, although everyone seemed to be busy doing their own thing. At least, that was until they bumped into a rather energetic girl, who challenged the group where they stood. Jacklyn, their own energetic girl, didn't miss any time responding to her. Ivan simply smirked. "Well, when ya'll done if you still got some fight in you, I'll take you on." He said, turning to Belle. From what she said, it sounded like she wanted to catch something around the area. Considering how well the last time she tried to catch something went, he could only imagine how it would turn out. She turned to ask him what he was planning on doing. "Well, I was going to battle her." He said, nudging his head towards Dinah. "But she's a little busy." He said, crossing his arms. "You said you were gonna try and catch something 'round here? I'll tag along. I could use another member, and you could use the help. Plus, maybe I'll find some other energetic brat to beat."
  12. Hoshiko came crashing towards the doors of the main building, the outfit she was wearing uncharacteristically disheveled as she took a second to catch her breath. She had ran as fast as her heels allowed her to get here, knowing full well that she was late for Kickoff. She had one last photo shoot she promised to do for her mom as one of the many conditions for her to come to Blue Yonder, the one she had postponed last week. "It's ok... it's ok... everything is going to be ok." She muttered to herself, tidying up as much of her outfit as she could, before getting ready to go in. She placed her hand on the handle, frustrated about the whole situation. How could she have been so careless as to forgot what day Kickoff was? "Its fine! You'll just show up for the later half of the event and..." Locked. "...no..." She tried opening the door again, but nothing happened. She wasn't just late - she had missed the whole thing. Eventually, after giving it a couple more tries, she let go of the door, tears rolling down her face as she took some steps back. Hoshiko clenched her fists, turning her back towards the building before leaning on it. Sobbing, she wiped some of her tears from her face, the mascara starting to flow with it. Deep down, she knew this would happen - even after telling the camera man and her mom repeatedly that she had a school event, they insisted that it couldn't be done faster. She should have put her foot down, she told herself, but the young man was so encouraging, and she had made this promise to her mom. It didn't help that it just so happened that the shoot was on the complete opposite side of the city. She didn't have anyone to blame but herself - how could she let this happen in the first place? "You always were an airhead..." She whispered, shaking her head. Exasperated, Hoshiko picked herself up from the locked door and, with her head hung low, she made her way back to her dorm. "Oh Melissa...!" Hoshiko said as she stood in front of her dorm. More dread washed over her, realizing that she had essentially abandoned her friend. Melissa must have struggled out there in the public like that, without her roommate to guide her. She hadn't even bothered to send her a text explaining her situation! Hoshiko could only hope that Melissa at least had a good time without her. As quietly as she could, she entered the room, seeing Melissa already sleeping. Hoshiko didn't bother to change, only taking off her heels before going straight to bed. Quietly, she wept into her pillow as she drifted off to sleep. Tomorrow would be better, she told herself. It had to be.
  13. Into the Lair Team Karaoke Lok followed behind Shaymin as the group made their way deeper and deeper into the cave. The cave seemed to get darker and darker as they walked down, until eventually they reached a room that was illuminated by lava, although even that wasn't enough to illuminate the deeper portion of the room. Strange sludge gathered around the walls, seemingly coming from a pool of water in the ceiling. They didn't have much time to look at everything, however, as Giratina walked out of the darkness. Lok stumbled back as a fierce pressure filled the room, before clutching his fists. He had come too far to cower in fear now. Taking a deep breath, Lok extended his arm out and pointed his finger at Giratina. The ghost fired the Will-o-Wisp towards the legendary, walking back as he did. He felt his back hit something, turning around to see Gwen on the other side of a shadowy wall. "Gwen?" Lok said, placing his hand on the shadowy wall. When did she get separated from them? More importantly, how had Lok not noticed before? He let out an exhausted sigh, lightly tapping his fingers on the shadows. Temple of Time and Space Team Showdown As Scarlet delivered the finishing blow, the King collapsed on his knees and congratulated the group. Scarlet didn't have anything to say - it was hard to speak between her heavy breathing and exhaustion. Another thing that made it hard for her to talk to him was the sudden change of scenery, the ring around them transforming back into the void. She let her body relax as she felt herself floating in nothingness, strange objects flying past them. Eventually, or soon after, Scarlet was having a hard time figuring out, they "stopped" soaring through the void, finding themselves in front of Dialga and Palkia. "We were sent on Rayquaza's behalf." Scarlet answered their question and, as Taiga said the same thing, Dialga asked them the same question on a more personal level. "Why did I take this task?" She said, before responding quickly. "I came here to get help. So that I can stop the Godslayers once and for all!" She answered, more passionately than she thought she could manage at that moment. She frowned as she heard that they weren't going to directly help, although they were going to aid them in their own way. It was something, at the very least. Dialga then posed something of his own. Scarlet thought for a second about what she was going to ask, although it didn't take long for her to know what she wanted to ask. She turned to the duo. "Will Cobalion and the other swords come to help?"
  14. Outside the Cave of Wonders Team Karaoke Lok let out an incoherent grumble as both Gwen and Nine reminded him that he had no time to sleep. "Yeah yeah yeah..." He let out an exasperated sigh. "I'm just not sure we're in..." As he was about to finish his complaint, he felt a sudden warmness fill the cave as he smelled the scent of spring. Defying all logic, he saw life grow from the ground he only thought could bring death, as he witness flowers blossom. These flowers soon became what he recognized as Sitrus Berries, among some other berries here and there. Lok had no words, instead slowly picking up some of the berries and eating them. They were some of the best tasting Sitrus Berries he has had in a long time, which was a shock considering the soil they had been grown from. "Thank you, Shaymin." He said, taking another bite out of one of the berries. He was feeling a lot better now, at least physically. The thought of marching on after what they saw a mere disciple could do was frightening. However, he knew that they were in too deep to give up now - if they left now, them defeating Raphael would mean nothing. He turned once more to Shaymin. "We're gonna get through this miss. Together." He gave the legend a thumbs up, before turning to the rest of the group. "Alright, power nap is over. We've got a legend to confront." He said, pointing deeper in the cave. Temple of Time and Space Team Showdown Scarlet started making her way towards the King slowly, before stopping. She hadn't realized just how much damaged she had taken throughout this entire brawl, to the point where walking was difficult. She collapsed on one knee, counting her blessings as the king went for Taiga. She took her small moment of rest to sit down properly, letting her wings rest as she Roosted, feeling some of the pain and weariness slowly fade from her body. She picked herself back up, feeling at least good enough to keep on fighting. Right on time too, as she watched what might be her final attack of this fight. It was up to Scarlet and Isole to finish this. She wasted no time after resting, immediately darting towards the king and decking him right on his jaw, causing him to stagger slightly. Seeing as he didn't seem to be able to counter attack, she went in for another punch, this time throwing a right hook right at his gut. He let out a grunt as the blow struck, clearly hurting him. It would, however, take more to take him down. Without missing a beat, the king launched a swing with his tail directly at Scarlet, one that she didn't have any choice but to tank. However, she wasn't about to be blown away like last time, clamping her pincers down on the tail with two Bug Bites and clinging on for dear life. Tyrantrum seemed confused, as he kept on swinging his tail back and forth in an attempt to get the bug off of him. "Let go!" Scarlet heard Isole call from the arena. With a nod, she let go of the tail, sending her flying towards the other side of the ring. As she slowed herself down with her wings, she saw Isole fire off a Blizzard at the King, one that was now pelting him. Taking her chance once more, Scarlet dived right back in, jumping through the air and slamming down both of her fists on top of the fossil's head. The king buckled as the attack came in, stumbling back as drops of blood flew through the air. He looked up at Scarlet, a stream of blood dripping down on the side of his face. "Alright, looks like this is it, come at me!" He shouted, raising his arms as meteors started raining down once more, this time smaller than before. He then charged towards her, aiming to slam his head down on her. "This ends now!" Scarlet responded, striking one of the meteors coming at her. The explosion singed her hand, but she didn't seem to notice as her eyes locked onto the kings. As his head started coming down towards her, she darted to the left, standing out of the way, and threw in a quick Bullet Punch at his side in retaliation. She wondered how much longer this could go on and, more importantly, which one of them would collapse first.
  15. The next day, after replacing Belle's ruined clothing, the group headed out to the next route. A desert greeted them, something that Ivan was not very pleased with. The sun was brightly shining as he felt a sweat drop fall from his forehead. His jacket wasn't really helping at all, but he wasn't about to just take it off - he was used to walking around in the leather jacket in the sun. Jacklyn seemed excited about the desert for whatever reason, he didn't get why. It was like the beaches back at Alola, but without the part that everyone loved about the beach. "I agree with her." Ivan said bluntly, pointing towards Belle. He could barely stand the heat as it was now; he wasn't about to go walking straight through the desert like this. Plus, trainers were a better way to train up his own Pokemon - after all, he still had to become stronger. He started walking towards the road where the trainers were waiting for a challenger to appear.

  17. Wada's eyes lit up at the thought of sparing himself. "I'll gladly fight in your stead while you get your spear mistah!" He said eagerly, turning to Lucine. She seemed to have other plans... somewhat. She seemed to want to fight the two of them, causing Wada to tilt his head. "Hey! What makes ya think ya can even take me on alone, let alone with Lachlan?" He said. Still, it was hard to stay too mad - after all, he was about to go show what he was made of soon enough. He followed behind her as the two walked towards their destination. However, she suddenly stepped back, putting Wada in front of her. "You know how to get there, right?" Wada gave a hearty chuckle, continuing to stepping forwards. "Nope!" He proudly declared, leading the two to god knows where. "If we get lost it'll give that Lachlan fellah time to find his spear though!" On impulse, he took the first left that he could, hoping that it would take them to where they were going.
  18. Graveyard of Lost Souls Team Karaoke As the stone in his hands crumbled, he saw the ghostly mother vanish. He turned around at the sound of screaming from Raphael, seeing that what was once protecting him was now turning against him. He watched as the spirits slowly consumed him and, as his final screams echoed in the room, Lok saw the world around him start to collapse until what was left was the cavern they had entered originally. "We... we did it..." Lok said, falling on his knees as tears started rolling down his face. He couldn't believe it, what felt like an eternal nightmare was finally over. He turned towards Nine, giving him a weak thumbs up before fully falling onto the ground. The exhaustion of it all had finally hit. He let out a groan as he remembered that they weren't quite done yet. "Rest... please..." He said, rolling over to face the ceiling. He didn't even have the strength to pick himself back up, closing his eyes as he drifted to sleep. No nightmare he had could compare to what he had just experienced. Temple of Time and Space Team Showdown Scarlet saw the man go in for a hook, stopping herself and darting back to dodge the attack. As she was getting ready to go in for another punch, she saw him stomp the ground, causing a huge earthquake to strike the arena. She didn't have much choice but to stand the attack, bracing herself as the ground shook violently. Scarlet struggled to keep herself standing, but she wasn't done yet. Meteors started falling from the sky, aimed towards everyone in the group. Gritting her teeth, she punched the meteors as they came towards her, shattering them into shrapnel. The burning explosion of each meteor hurt, but it sure beat getting slammed by the meteors themselves. As she shattered the last of the meteors she saw Taiga crashing a pillar of water at the King, causing him to stumble back from the impact. Scarlet wasted no time, darting back in to strike at her opponent. Meanwhile, after he caught his footing, the King charged at Taiga with a Head Smash. The Scizor managed to intercept the attack, striking the fossil right under his jaw with a fierce uppercut. Tyrantrum's head cocked back violently, before coming down just as fast as it had been knocked back. Not having much room to dodge, and one of her arms already up, Scarlet had little choice but to brace herself, bringing up her arms to block the attack as much as she could. Scarlet felt like her arms were going to break as the Head Smash struck, the ground itself cracking as a shockwave blew dust away from the two. She staggered back from the impact, her arms screaming in pain as her legs started shaking. "Crap..." She muttered, glaring directly at Tyrantrum's eyes. She wasn't sure how many more of those head smashes she could take before breaking.
  19. Jekyll answered everyone's questions, giving the group a lot of information to process. Wada fiddled with his mallet a bit as he turned towards the others. He hoped that they understood what the man was saying, because it was all a bit much for him to understand. His main takeaway from it all was they were protecting Grimm from these scary monsters and that they fed on negative emotions, and that they were spreading. Some of the Jaegers left to go train up, while some of the others stood by. Wada stood up from his chair, stretching before grabbing his mallet and tossing it over his shoulder once mer. His attention was caught by Lachlan's speech about being heroes! Wada beamed, ignoring all the concerned parts. "Yes, we're gonna be heroes! Stop the evil beasties and protect all of Grimm!" He said, mostly to himself. This is exactly what he wanted, not truly grasping the gravity of the situation he had signed up for. Everyone else, however, seemed to be extremely concerned about these monsters. Wada frowned. "Why y'all so worried about these things?" He said confidently, pointing towards himself. "We've got me! And I'm sure all of y'all are impressive in yer own right!" He said, twirling the mallet around. "Sure we might not know much 'bout these things outside of what Jeckyll told us, but I'm sure we can take them all. We're heroes now!" As people started leaving, he turned towards Lucine and Lachian. "Ooh, can I watch y'all spar? It'd be good to see what we can all do if we're all gonna be on a team." Whether they agreed to let him go with them or not, he was going to go with them.
  20. Raijin simply shrugged as no one seemed to have an answer to him. Before he could pay for his snacks, however, two individuals came crashing in. The man made a declaration for everyone to grab whatever they wanted from the store. Was he... robbing the place? It was a strange robbery for sure, especially when he noticed that the boy behind the counter seemed to act more annoyed than anything. Everyone around them seemed to be grabbing whatever and heading out the door. "What the fuck..." He muttered, turning towards Natsumi and Octavia for answers. They also seemed to be saying to do the same thing - grab your shit and go. It was all very confusing, but Raijin wasn't going to argue it. "Alrighty then." He said, shrugging his shoulders, as he turned around back towards the store. He made sure to stuff his jacket pockets with as many Thin Gins, pretzels, and bags of trail mix as he could get his hands on, before stopping by the fridge to pick up some water bottles in his arms. He walked back towards the group, now holding a galore of snacks and waters. "Well, let's get goin'." He said, before making his way out of the store. He stood next to Octavia, arms full of water bottles and pockets full of snacks. He turned down towards Octavia, noticing that she didn't grab any water, instead opting for some fizzy poison instead. He let out a sigh, rolling his eyes as he placed his drinks down before sitting next to the girl. "Here." He said, handing her a water bottle. "It's important to stay hydrated... 'specially after drinking that sugary crap."
  21. It felt good, actually helping someone for once. "Good work!" He said towards Don and Cherry, reaching for Don's Pokeball. The Murkrow tried to play it off like it was nothing, although he was practically beaming joy as he returned to his Pokeball. As the thug left, Ivan decided it would probably be a good time to check on Belle... who was currently battling her own Pokemon. "Oh boy..." He said, shaking his head. "Just... get that figured out, alright? We should get going..." He said, prepared to walk out and resume their activity. As he heard Jacklyn talk to the kid, however, he stopped. "Right." He muttered, turning back around and towards the two trainers. "You ok, kid?" He called out, walking back towards Jacklyn, before stopping when he saw Belle. Her clothing was in shambles, but she was now holding a Pokeball and, notably, the Ratatta was gone. "...how? Actually, nevermind. Don't tell me." He said flatly. "At least you finally got it under control."
  22. Graveyard of Lost Souls Team Karaoke The ghostly figure didn't say a word, although they seemed to be trying to say something. She seemed sad about something... was this her tombstone? What was she doing here? As Lok got closer to the women, she suddenly lunged at him. Lok instinctively brought his arms up, but her arm simply went through him. He closed his eyes shut, before feeling a shiver down his spine. He opened his eyes, finding himself in a completely different place. He watched as the women was being shouted by a man, and a young boy was sitting in the corner. The sad scene slowly morphed into a horrifying one as he watched the scene before his eyes change. He saw the young boy, now a young adult that looked like Raphael, tear into the screaming man from earlier. Just as Raphael was about to slaughter the women, Lok found himself back in the present, now looking at the ghostly women. "That's... that's horrible..." He muttered, turning towards the tomb. "That was you in those flashbacks... which means this is..." He said, chills running down his spine. He was still processing everything that was going on. The tombstone that he said started it all, the one that made him the monster he is now. It was her gravestone. Lok clenched his fist. "I'm so sorry..." He said, turning back to the women as he stepped towards the gravestone. "...I can't even imagine what it must have been like, even after having seen it myself. And now he's out of control..." He said, a tear rolling down his face, as he turned to Raphael. Even if he was a monster, he couldn't help but feel bad for him, knowing what he had gone through growing up. He turned back to the ghostly women. "There must be something you can help me do... something that will end both of your suffering." He turned down towards the tombstone, remembering what the original plan was. "If I destroy your tomb... that should put an end to this madness. Let the two of you go free." The ghostly mother drifted away from the tombstone, not giving him any sort of signal. He simple nodded, taking a deep breath as lighting started crackling in his palms. He grabbed onto both sides of the grave, unleashing a Thunderbolt on it as he tightly gripped it, pushing in attempt to crush it between his hands with the lightning. Temple of Time and Space Team Showdown Slamming her fist into him felt like she had just punched a rock, much like the bolder-like impact the king's Head Smash had on Scarlet's head. For a moment, everything went blurry as she tried to clutch her head, but she didn't even have enough time to do that as the king slammed her with his tail, sending her flying backwards. Her wings uselessly fluttered as she was sent flying back towards the side of the ring. "Ugh..." She muttered, supporting herself on the ropes as she picked herself up. She saw in the distance the King shouting something at Taiga, before he started rushing towards her. "No no no..." She muttered, starting to dash towards them. Her fear only increased as she saw Isole float in front of the King, firing a Thunderbolt at him. She had felt what his attack was like - she wasn't sure Isole could even take one of those hits and survive. As she ran as fast as she had ever ran before, she leapt towards the King, thrusting herself with the force of her Bullet Punch and launched herself at him. King stopped his rush towards Isole and Taiga as Scarlet struck him, pausing for a second. Slowly, he turned towards Scarlet with a menacing grin on his face. "Well alright then. Let's do this."
  23. "Assassin' huh?" He said, scratching his chin. It would seem this guy was also a Master. Archer simply chuckled, rolling his eyes. "Alcohol ain't good for a warrior's body? Ridiculous!" He said, ready to take seat one again. However, he felt Astoria grab his hand and was practically dragging him out of the bar. "Aw, and here I thought we were startin' to get chummy." He grumbled, stepping out the bar but not before giving Arash a wave goodbye. "So why don't ya like that fellah again? He seemed-" Archer was cut off by what sounded like a thunderous boom. "What the devil!?" He said, before turning up to Assassin, who had informed them that a fight was brewing at the mall. "Outta the fryin' pan, and into the flames." He said grimly, although he wore an excited grin on his face. He turned to Astoria. "Why don't we go pay the mall a visit? All this talk 'bout shootin's got me trigger finger itchin'." He didn't stop to hear what she had to say, making his way towards the mall.
