  3. 9/10, the Metal wasn't quite there and there coulda been a bit more Baby
  4. Teen Girl Squad + One Kris examined the three girls with one hand on her hip. They had caught her on the way to her house's building near the classrooms. "Isn't it a bit early for you to be thinking about mech practice outside of classes?" She shook her head. "No, I can't let you do that." "Oh come on." Kelsey said. Honestly she hadn't planned on getting in her mech today but being told no, by another student, didn't feel good to her either. "It's not that big of a deal is it?" Kris frowned. "It is. You must have been told so already. You're all far too new to have such freedom with your mechs. That being said, some martial practice isn't a problem." She thought about it a moment. "I'd rather you did it somewhere safe anyway. Come with me." Kelsey rolled her eyes at the others but followed along as Kris led them into the Steel Hound's building. Each room was rather sparse, and militant, with lockers lining the walls where Kris grabbed some equipment before leading them through a sliding door. Into a low-ceiling and wide room that resembled something like a martial arts dojo. With the far wall being a long mirror and the floor being covered in rubber mats. She handed each of them bag. "There's protective gear in there. Put them on before anything else. If you need to there's a shower room over there." She then moved towards the other side of the mirror wall and crossed her arms. Kelsey scrunched up her face as she looked at the gear. Pads, gloves, and some sort of padded helmet. "Yeah this is a bit...much don't you think?" Sammi "Thank you for bringing me here. If those hooligans come after you again, I'll be here... probably all day and all night. Like I said, it's a lot of research." "Oh, um, I don't..." Kaiser glanced at the doorway then back at Sammi. "I don't mind staying here. I don't have anything else to do..." He trailed off and his eyes widened a bit. "Um, that is if I'm not bothering you. I don't have to stay I just. Thought. I-I dunno." He shrugged weakly and the more he spoke the lower his gaze went until he was staring at his shoes. "I-It's up to you." He finished.
  5. Rona couldn't relax even if the battle had ended. If she let herself calm down after the fight then she wouldn't be able to hide how worn out she was. She was sitting upright on Cormag but she kept one hand on his neck at all times. In order to make sure she STAYED upright. She looked around at the others. They were clearly worn out after that fight. If they encountered another attack they'd probably not be able to repel this one. So it was when they came across a lopsided cart that she tensed up even more. "Don't get too close." She said. It wasn't the first time that they've encountered someone in trouble who turned out to be a trap. "It could be another ambush, commander." Rona said, eyeing the girl warily. This didn't change even though the girl seemed to be familiar with Raynor. "We should just keep going. It's too suspicious right after.....that." She was tired. She was sore. But the scene that followed still managed to bring a smile to Alexis's face. Whoever this girl is the way that she greeted Raynor was...rather interesting. "Oh don't worry so much, Rona, this pretty lady doesn't seem like a villain to me. And look she is all close with our Raynor." Alexis smirked at the Jouraan. "That explains some things. This your sweetheart? You sly dog you." Alexis could see it. The wandering mercenary, gruff, strong, and battle-hardened. And the mysterious but beautiful traveling salesperson. Only able to meet on occasion, as they both travel the world, only able to communicate through messages left at taverns and inns. The Pegasus Knight's eyes were sparkling. It was a wonderful story. And it was unfolding before her eyes. She felt it in her bones. And then Tana snorted and snapped Alexis out of it. "Ah, where was I....So you got anything good?" She looked to the cart and winced. "Hope you didn't lose much."
  6. Team Karaoke, Giratina's Lair Giratina managed to dunk Lok into the liquid. Or more accurately slammed him into the ground where the pool of liquid was covering. Though her efforts seemed to be mostly wasted as Shaymin's healing attack would wash away both Lok and Nine's confusion as if it never happened. Barely hanging onto Lok now, Giratina's focus was fully on the Legend that had appeared seemingly, to Giratina, out of nowhere. She growled as Shaymin's Air Slash raced towards her and let loose a Dragonbreath. The attacks collided and, while the Air Slash slowed, it still cut through to strike across Giratina's face. Grip on Lok weakening she moved towards Shaymin with a single-minded determination. Dragging the boy with as she rushed towards Shaymin, moving faster than she should be capable of, basically gliding across the ground, as she raked her claw across where Shaymin was standing.
  7. So basically you just want me to lose my nominations don't you ?
  8. "How's that for you?!" "Guess that wasn't too bad. But you're out of luck now! You don't have enough energy to take on my final Pokemon. Especially not when they're this strong!" With a confident toss Dinah sent out her final Pokemon. A small, but stubborn-looking, Tepig emerged from the ball. Once it saw Rus it snorted and pawed at the ground. Ready and raring to go. "Alright, time for a starter battle! Let's see how long you can last before your inevitable defeat! Tackle, go!" The Tepig let out another, louder, snort and charged in towards Rus. Aiming to slam its, slightly larger, body into Rus's own. "I'm sorry NomI, I should have backed up too" "Hm?" Responded Naomi, looking up at Milla from her position on top of her. "Nothin happened s'okay." She said. She laid her head back and let out a long sigh. It seemed like she didn't really have much intention to get up even as Milla moved underneath her. If the girl got up she would continue to lay there as well. Naomi barely noticed Rondo's actions but she did absently kick her leg a bit as the Sneasel pulled on it. Bug, now no longer in the middle of a wrestling match, wandered its way over towards Rondo. He looked over at the Sneasel, then at the two trainers on the ground, and meandered further along. Stopping by Naomi's face he opened his mouth up and grabbed some of the girl's hair and began to tug at it. "Ahhh, stop." Naomi said, weakly pushing at the Trapinch. --- "I've still got one more pokemon, but calling it a win just because of that doesn't seem fair." Paula didn't seem too excited about that idea. "I don't know, it doesn't really feel like a tie. I don't even remember the start of the battle even." She winced and rubbed her head. "Ah, where'd this headache come from anyway..." She shrugged then and continued "Guess if you think that's for the best. Looks like I have to practice a bit more. But first I'm going back to the city to heal up." As she started passing Kanon by she said "Good battle, I think."
  9. Keres was starting to get used to riding the large lizard. It wasn't as difficult as it seemed at first and, after that fight, she felt like her body had strengthened up which also aided her. While on the way back she started taking more notes. Describing everything that she could remember about the roc. Occasionally asking the other two brief questions about their own experience, and avoiding writing down Geoff's rather exaggerated statements. They were able to make it back to the road without encountering anything more. Only to find that it seemed there had been some sort of fight here too. As shown by the large animal corpse and an injury on Lindow's leg. “I felt something familiar on the wind. You guys met a strong opponent out there didn’t ya?” So those souls could even effect a Chosen from this far away it seemed. They were certainly a marvel, Keres thought, and rather mysterious. As she pondered she noticed that Pyrrha seemed to be preparing to make a meal out of the beast they had killed. So she slipped off of Kloqah and headed towards the elf. "I can help. With the food." She stated. Geoff had taken upon himself to answer Lindow's question. He stood up on his buffalo and nodded. "Aye, there was a mighty flying beast. It was practically the size of a castle I'd wager. It tried to take us to its nest and tear us apart but we bested the thing with bravery and boldness! It was a sight to behold. If only you could have been there."
  10. Was confused why it took so long to get to the song, overall....6/10 unsure, tbh, but 6/10 7/10 More 7/10 Maybe I'm in a 6-7 mood
  11. 6/10, at first was higher but after a while it got slightly annoying
  12. "I only wished to pass along a greeting. I met young Emma selling apples in the marketplace on the way here and she made mention of you. I suppose then you must be friends with her father or mother. Or perhaps simply a frequent purchaser of her produce." Hector rested an elbow on the counter and leaned forward. Thinking over what Estellise had said. "Emma, no, I did get plenty of apples but...oh, she must be the sister. Well, thanks for that. That family is a good one, even if they don't have a surname." His gaze lingered on Estellise for a few moments. "I doubt someone of your stature came all this way just for that." He looked over at the others. "You here for the kid then?" He asked, indicating Chris. "Hope you're not dragging him into anything too bad. I'm starting to get used to him being around." --- Meanwhile, in the corner, the elf girl glanced briefly over by the group. Almost as though she heard what Chris had said, despite the distance between them. However she didn't stir from her place and continued to slowly drink.
  13. “Um, actually, just pineapple for me,” Peter said. “I don’t really like…” "Got it! Don't you worry, I still have time to add to the order, I always figure something else I want after I order anyway and they know my name I'm sure they're waiting." Having said that Hana put in an order for another pizza with just pineapple. "Large is fine I hope." She then sent the revised order in and nodded in satisfaction. The order was large, hopefully large enough, and she was sure that everyone would be able to get their fill. No empty stomachs when Hana was around! As she thought that her stomach growled. She sure hoped they'd get here soon. That cake didn't keep her satisfied for long and it had been a few hours since her last meal. Putting the phone away, she bounced on over towards the woman who was calling herself their coach. "I didn't know we were getting a coach! Did we have a coach last year? Aren't couches supposed to have striped shirts?" She paused. "Wait that's a referee. Are those different?" "Anyway, you didn't miss anything, you're just in time for the pizza orders after all! Oh, wait, did you want something?" She dug into her pocket for her phone once more.
