  1. Team Karaoke, Giratina's Lair Giratina snarled as they twisted around to look at each of the group. "No use. I can't be stopped. That's why I was brought here. If those traitors couldn't get rid of me what makes you think you can?" She started to snicker as they stood fully upright. Their hair moved about their head, almost like snakes, and the twisted aura around them could be clearly seen. They shifted to the side just as Lok's Thunderbolt hit them. The attack hit and the lightning exploded right on their face. Beyond a furrowed brow Giratina didn't let out any indication of harm. She turned towards Lok and started forward. Every step she took seemed jerky and almost as though she was only actually taking half of the steps despite the distance she was crossing. Behind her half a dozen rocks tore from the ground, surrounded in energy, and without looking, she launched them at the others. All the while reaching out towards Lok and glaring with blazing red eyes. Kayla quickly turned to the side as two of the rocks came for her and she was swift enough to slip right between the attack. Once they soared past she stepped towards Giratina. Though she then glanced over at Lok and hesitated, not wanting to mess up anything he might have in mind. Instead she observed Giratina, and prepared to intercept any move she went for. Meanwhile the areas of the ground that had been blasted apart started to, seemingly, bleed. The strange dark liquid oozed up around the hole and started to slowly spread across the floor.
  2. I was fine until the like 2 minute mark, it was mostly just "Huh, odd" but the weird face thing at around then creeped me out 6/10 song 3/10 just was getting me weirdly annoyed
  3. "Oh, just a sneaky little rat. Someone's poking around my new house is all. We could probably find them if we go now." "What do you think, Saber, would we be able to make it there fast enough?"
  4. 7/10, pretty cool, but dull moments made it hard to focus 6/10, was cute and catchy at first but grew kinda annoying hmm, 7/10, nothing too special but was fine hard one to rate, I like the sounds, but I feel it goes on a bit too long 7.5/10
  5. "Oh my. A Trapinch. But those are only Ground Type as I recall." Naomi tilted her head, not really understanding why she was being told this, and gave a half shrug in response. "He's Bug." was her only response. She tried to give some serious thought when Milla asked about the sand. Was there something weird about it? Well, honestly, plenty. "It's hot." She said, nodding. "Ground shouldn't be hot. And not wet at all. I didn't know ground got this dry." She didn't often go out of her house back home but she still remembered the marsh that was right outside the city. She was still surprised to find how different other places were in that regard. "And if you could place your hand on the pillar here and tell me if anything happens that'd be great too." Naomi didn't really like that. She felt uncomfortable about the things. They made her feel crawlies in her skin and head. But she didn't really have any reason not to and it would be more of a bother to tell Milla no. So she ambled on over to the pillar and leaned both of her hands onto it. Her face scrunched up as she could hear something. She felt like she was being told to do something and, uncomfortably, she felt an urge to do it. But, no, that was silly. She didn't want to do things. She just wanted to relax. A ringing began in her ears and she pushed off of the pillar, giving it an annoyed look. "Dumb rock." She muttered. --- Paula glanced up at the rain as Ursula came in for the Peck attack and frowned. She seemed to be mentally counting something and, because of this, Ursula got in a couple pecks before she snapped out of it and called out "Ack, Tympole, Round!" The Pokemon, low health, chirped and jumped back and into the air before opening their mouth and sending a shock wave of sound towards Ursula. The rain started to peter out and the Rising Star, as soon as she noticed, called out for her Pokemon to use yet another Rain Dance to bring the rain back. Dinah gave an annoyed look as Jacklyn gloated. "Lucky hit, but it's not like your Pokemon is doing all too hot! And I still got more where that came from! Tyrogue let's show them your blistering speed, go!" The Pokemon that came out next seemed small, and rather scrawny, but as they came out and crouched down in a fighting stance it was clear that the Pokemon was ready to fight. "Start it off with a Mach Punch!" Dinah called out, thrusting her fist out at the same time. It was clear that the girl was getting into the fight, though she seemed more focused on her own Pokemon than anything else. The Tyrogue darted forward incredibly swift, its fist glowing slightly, as he swung it right at Cherry's body.
  6. "W-we don't need you to pull us out of anything! That's what Rona is for!" Is that so? Alexis couldn't help but smile at that. Maybe she wasn't trying hard enough in that case. Or, more likely, Rona was trying too hard. Alexis glanced over at the Wyvern Rider and winced at what she saw. The girl seemed to be swinging with such a savagery that she appeared to barely even realize what was going on around her. It was true that the girl was impressive, able to withstand multiple foes, but how long would that last? Especially with that Archer approaching. Alexis shook her head and realized what she had to do. "Sorry about this, but if I let that guy get closer this is all over." She then had Tana rise up and dive towards the cavalier in front of her. The soldier raised his weapon, prepared for her, but Alexis turned to the side and sailed right on past. Instead she headed for the small formation beyond. She hated this. Diving into danger like this just didn't work. But if the reinforcements joined with the cavaliers she wasn't sure they could hold. The Archer seemed surprised as Alexis came towards him and tried to ready an arrow. He just barely moved from Alexis's initial attack, which grazed him, and wasn't able to stop her follow up attack which caught the archer in the chest and killed them. Rona wasn't sure what was happening anymore. There was just a press of bodies around her and steel flashing. Blood spraying. Was that her own? Maybe. She missed an attack. Stupid. She couldn't afford to miss. She had to do better. The enemy was all around. Focus, focus, aim for the weakened ones. Take them down. Less enemies meant less chance for counter attacks. It was basic, simple, she just had to... There. The cavalier that she had missed was looking overconfident despite having been struck by an arrow. Rona could see they were leaning slightly on their left and used that to rush them and take a large swing on their weak side. Rona was rewarded by her axe biting into his neck. Rona was breathing heavily. She wasn't sure she wasn't going to drop her axe next swing. But even if she did she'd keep going. If she had to she'd tackle the next cavalier off their horse.

  9. Chase "Jeez, have a little pride or something." Sid said, scratching the side of his head and awkwardly turning from him. "Well, when I went out before I found this place. It's only open at nights so...I was gonna head there. You can follow if you'd like." The place as it turned out seemed to be a rather ramshackle looking building. The sign was half hanging off, and not legible, and the windows were boarded up. Though when they got closer it was clear that the building wasn't falling apart. Instead it was made to look like it was. While it looked small as they approached it when they stepped inside it seemed to open up more. A ramp led them to an area underground from the main building, with a couple muscular men standing at either end. They stopped Chase but Sid waved a hand "Hey, it's fine. It's his first time, I think, you know how it is." They looked at each other and nodded and Sid led Chase to what looked like an old shutter that lifted up as they got near it. Immediately Chase could hear loud, punk rock, music blaring out. The area they entered a large room that resembled an emptied out warehouse, with a walkway up above them that people where standing and hanging onto. The floor was filled with people moving about. Their movements seemed almost robotic and stilted but mostly due to the flashing lights that were going off. Off to the side was what appeared to be a bar of sorts. Most people only stopped there for a moment before going back onto the main floor with their drinks, though several stuck around. Up on stage were four females, one singer, and three more with instruments. The stage itself was in the middle of the room, circle shaped, and surrounded by some kind of light barrier. "Don't get lost. Or trampled." Sid said as he slipped in with the crowd. Kansuke The red-haired student was almost down the hall when Kansuke called out to him. His stride seemed to be quick, even when so casual, and Kansuke could see now that the slightly older male was quite tall. He paused at the shout, turned to face Kansuke, and walked closer. "Tucker, Soren Tucker. Second year student. I expect I will be seeing your name frequently from here on out, first year, am I correct." Without hesitation he held his hand out for a handshake. His expression never changing from the collected and calm face he had been making since Kansuke first saw him. There were very few students in the hall with but Kansuke noticed a couple of them whisper as they passed by. "That's him? The top student? What do you think he's doing here?" Teen Girl Squad "I'm sure the streets would be much safer with your fists on patrol, Kelz. though, my old granny hands could probably sew something up." Kelsey snorted at Kelsey's response. She stepped closer to the girl and reached out with one hand to grasp one of Stella's own. Lifting it up closer to her face she looked at it for a moment before looking at Stella. "Don't look, or feel, like granny hands to me." She stated. "After a short break when we're back at campus, we could have that mech sparring match you wanted," Viv proposed. "I need to get some practice in with mine anyway, so this is a good opportunity! I'm sure there's a training room somewhere we can use." Kelsey dropped Stella's hand after a moment and turned back towards Vivian. "You got it! If not could just use my room. Got a message saying my roommate had to leave or something so it's just me for now." The way to the campus was uneventful, and before they knew it they would be within the perimeter of the school once again. Sammi Kaiser looked up at Sammi as she spoke, listening to the, rather long, response to his question. She would notice something shift in his expression for a moment, a look of realization, but he nodded. "I...won't tell. N-no one asks me much anyway...Erm, except you, I suppose." He was silent for a while before seeming to remember to answer said question. "I'm not...sure, but I think it's in the same building as the classes. Er, this way." With that said he led Sammi towards her destination. Halfway there Kaiser remembered there was an electronic billboard outside of the classrooms where they could check and, sure enough, they found that the library was inside the building. Said library was somewhat small, compared to what one might expect from such a large school, and a lot of the "books" were instead monitors that you could download information from. There was, however, a section with tall bookcases with physical books. In a corner area of the library. Which, contrasting with the cold and mechanical rest of the room, had plush carpeting, several armchairs and couches, and a fireplace.
  10. Estellise The girl's eyes seemed to flash for a moment as she read Estellise's face and, seemingly amused by what she saw, gave a laugh. "You say you did not hurt anyone, but you made Emma think her livelihood had vanished on her. How was she going to eat with her business shut down so early into the day? What would she tell her family? And all that just for your own entertainment? Surely you can not honestly enjoy the misfortune of others." "You saw it didn't last long. Even without you there she would have just worried for a while until it wore off or something." She gave a smile and showed off the single fang in her mouth. "Plus you have to admit it was cute seeing her all flustered. People are far too easy to mess with. And hey it's not like anything else is going on around here. Except much more dangerous things than a little prank." She started to slowly shake her head. "You're just mad you fell down aren't you? Wonder how it feels for a fancypants like you to get tricked by such a simple spell." The girl didn't stop the slow shake of her head as she continued. "What's your name anyway? I'm sure you got an important one. Me, I'm just plain old Delilah, nice to meet you." She had a bit of a bitterness in that but she held her hand out for Estellise to shake. Though as she watched she'd notice that, while the girl was talking, she hadn't stopped shaking her head. Looking closer she'd notice that her mouth wasn't moving as she spoke and, if she went to grab the girl's hand, Estellise's own hand would simply pass through and the image of the girl would fade away. The Drooling Dragon As the first of the group entered the Drooling Dragon it would have started to pick up business but only slightly. It was still early but several people filtered in it. Many seemed to be the type who needed a cheap meal, as while the food wasn't great it was better than most and usually quite cheap, as well as a few more of the people staying in the tavern. Of them only one, an elven girl sitting as far from the stage as possible, seemed to be of interest. Mostly due to the rather large blade she had propped against the table as she ate. There was a musician, with some sort of flute, setting up near the corner. But they had yet to begin to play. Merely checking their equipment and accepting a steadily growing collection of drinks. Hector was still at the bar, though he seemed more focused on cleaning up a spill than anything else, and the place seemed rather quiet for the moment.
  11. hard to say, I like how it sounds, but it doesn't change up much and feels a bit long. 7.5/10 8, hm, 8.5/10 1/10 false advertising some and somebody are two different words
  12. 7/10, had strong parts but some weak parts too
  13. 8/10, though never heard the original so hard to say for sure
  14. Penelope was rather excited to see what might come next. Of course, she had some idea of what to expect, but even so this was playing out incredibly well. It seemed most of the others were more frustrated than anything about having to figure something else out. Even if the "solution" of sorts was something rather mundane. "I think you may be closer to your goal than any of us guessed. 'Drako,' while not...quite the same is very similar to a word in Old Pontic. It might not have the same importance here, but... well I've only ever seen 'Draco' refer to one thing." There was a smirk that formed on Penelope's lips at that. Catching on, were they? She was almost certain of her theory at this point. Yet she didn't want to speak of it. It was always best to save such reveals for when you had proof after all. It didn't take long for Tsetseg to figure out how to get through to the next area in their journey and Penelope happily followed her up into what she thought could be the town hall. If it was it was rather interesting how....religious it was. The decor stood out greatly and even Catriona seemed to have some idea of the implication. She was bouncing on her heels as her eyes darted from side to side. "There's probably something through those doors. Likely what we're searching for. But as for me..." She looked over at the statue. It was rather grand, and had gems that, for such a town, were rather out of place. Curious she approached it and called Gunther over. "I want a closer look." She told him, and smiled at his sigh. Gunther watched nervously as Tsetseg climbed the ladder and, holding on with only one hand, started to mess with whatever it was above her head. Penelope seemed not worried about it, and Shiro was underneath, so he thought there was likely no danger but he still let out a sigh of relief as she finished what she was doing without trouble. He made sure no one was near as he climbed the ladder, as, with his armor, him falling could seriously hurt someone. But when he got to the top he stared at the sights before him. "Something this grand is in a place like this?" He winced, and looked over at the three villagers. "No offense meant, I assure you, just....you know, it's uh...I'll stop now." He finished awkwardly. Still, what was a place like this doing here? These people clearly put a lot of care into it and it seemed to be somewhere important for them. But why? It didn't seem to serve much purpose being that way. Unless this, too, had its share of secrets. He shuddered at the thought of even more puzzles to solve. And then he heard Penelope. More importantly he heard her tone. And knew she was about to ask him to do something silly. True to his thoughts she wanted him to lift her up to give her a better look at the statue. "Princess, that's not....very appropriate is it?" Her smile, without words, made him realize that she wasn't going to let it go. So, with a sigh and an awkward glance at the others, he moved over towards the princess and lifted her up onto his shoulders to allow her to inspect the statue easier. Cora wasn't as taken in by their surroundings as the others, though she was surprised at where the path under the mayor's house had taken them, as she was more focused on her worry about what the others were doing. Evidently this is where the magic...thing, was. But she didn't see anything that seemed out of place. Which meant it was somewhere else, if nearby, and it meant that whoever had done this could still be in here somewhere. How, she wasn't sure, given how sealed the building seemed to be, but she couldn't shake the feeling that they were going to encounter someone, or something, soon while they looked around. She didn't even realize she had a hand on the pommel of her sword as she moved down the pews, keeping her eyes on the group. "If you find anything let me know." She said, her voice nervous. "Don't take anything. Okay?" She looked over towards Penelope and frowned. Who answered with a dismissive wave of her hand.
  15. The roc tried to follow Reinaan's movements. But its size, and the injury to its eye, including blood running down its feathery face, made it difficult. It swung its head far to the side to see the Draken's approach and, hopped to the side to keep in line with the Chosen. It spread its wings and let out a screech before charging forward on unsteady legs, lowering its head and keeping its beak forward. Without much left to do the roc was now attempting to bowl over the relatively small creature and tear into their body with its sharp beak. Keres started forward. Moving from the safety of the pillars. She couldn't do much but she could tell that the roc was near its end. So she would do her best to keep from any mistakes on their part from proving fatal while they tried to finish off the creature. The weasel's eyes were wide and full of rage as it was stabbed by Lindow's blade. It didn't seem to want to let go but, gradually, it lost strength, and it loosened its jaw's grip on the witch hunter. As it dropped to the ground, with a rather impressive thud that caused a cloud of dirt to puff up into the air, Lindow would feel intense pain as the air hit his wound. His leg hadn't been ripped off as the animal had attempted but there were still a multitude of teeth marks that were oozing blood. Combined with his excess use of magic and having spent the day marching and fighting Lindow's endurance was waning. He would find it hard to even stay standing as the blood loss increased.
  16. 2/10, the spear parts actively pained me sounded awful and wasn't even clever. 8/10
  17. I just realized Rin won last time so I shall change that nomination to Nono Daichi (Aikatsu)
