  1. As Natsumi confirmed that the wall didn't seem to be able to be walked through, Kiyoko continued to ponder the mysteries of the girl who passed through it. It was then that she brought up the idea of there being ghosts. As the girl seemed to laugh it off, Kiyoko put a hand to her chin saying, "well, you're right it can't possibly be ghosts." Looking matter of factly at her roommate, the girl bluntly stated, "but ghosts certainly do exist." Without explaining herself, the girl began to go in the direction Natsumi had pointed, beginning to make her way to the kitchen. Once they had gotten there, though, Kiyoko was met with a peculiar sight. Rummaging through the kitchen, a piece of freshly stolen meat in its jaws, Kiyoko saw what appeared to be a wolf like creature. It was a rather large wolf with black fur. While that was peculiar in its own right, the patches of the wolf that were missing fur instead exposed bone and rotting flesh, and the dog itself seemed to have light purple fire trailing off of it. "How strange." Kiyoko had put a finger to her chin yet again. Seeing that the wolf was indeed eating something, the girl looked to Natsumi, "I do not know what your experience with ghosts are, but you should prepare yourself. I feel I must rescind my prior comment, as I think that is indeed what we are dealing with." Kiyoko glared at the wolf, seemingly on guard and ready to proceed with caution.
  2. I don't know if Doujin circles count as bands, but if they do, FELT. You know the one. Can't beat the classics.
  3. Vivian had asked a question that, while Stella should have been expecting, she didn't exactly have an answer to. Stella didn't have much in way of hobbies, and outside of her time at school and with Kelsey she didn't really leave her home. And she really wouldn't call "hanging out" a hobby, nor did she really think that they did anything together that constituted as one. Thinking on her own answer, and thus Kelsey answering first, had proven to do her no favors as well. As her friend explained to Vivian about her old interests, Stella's eyes were fixated on the prosthetic hand of Kelsey's. Frowning, the girl's eyes then looked away, not really seeming to be focusing on anything. She simply stared down at the floor, with her attention only coming back as Kelsey shook her around. A bit jostled, having her focus suddenly pulled back, the girl simply said, "huh? Oh um, well, not really..." Looking at Vivian she doubled back, saying, "well, it's not that I don't do those things, I just- I've just been focused on going to a good school, you know. So everything helps. But, I guess I don't really have a hobby, so to speak." Getting her smile back, Stella put a hand on Kelsey's head saying, "I guess outside of hanging out with this goofball."

  5. Marie went back to a standing position as the locals had come around to see what had happened. As they seemed largely disintersted, instead going to eat, Marie turned her attention back to the Tyranitar. Looking to the others, it seemed Keanu was keen on getting something to eat, with Nani going off to look for something. The girl looked to the Mimikyu, unsure why they seemed to be holding scraps around their face as they walked away, but figured that the hoodie they normally wore must've been something important to them. Looking to the two, she certainly felt like she could use some food herself, feeling hungry from the whole days ordeals. However, she also had something she felt the need to take care of. Turning to Allie - where did she go? Marie looked from the spot to see that Randy was carrying the girl, seeming to go in the direction she had wanted to. Making her way over to the man, she said, "thanks Randy. I was planning on asking you to do this anyway, because well," Marie flexed her none too impressive biceps. "But well, besides what her dad said, I've gotta be there when she wakes up to properly lecture her, you know?" As Shaymin seemed to have calmed for now, the Houndoom simply waved her comment off. "Of course you don't. Like I said, this whole mission is only okay if you're also okay with it. But well," Nine looked in the direction of the Alpha residents. "I doubt they expect you to fight it anyway." Looking at Shaymin, with a smile he said, "but let's start over. I'm Nine, a chaser and scholar on legends. And honestly, this whole thing has got me interested, fight or not. So, if you could tell me about this terrible foe of ours, I'd be appreciative." Realizing something, as if he seemed to think himself rude the Houndoom said, "oh, but don't take that to mean I'm not interested in you as well. If you wish to tell me about yourself, then please do."
  6. Well, I'm pretty sure you know a lot of these and they probably overlap with you. However, technically speaking, Mash, Meltrylis and Ereshkigal aren't really heroic spirits. It's being pedantic, but you know I figured this would make things more interesting and make me think about them a bit more. I'll also do my best to not keep it not based solely on waifuing over people. So, in no specific order I'll just think of and write them out. Nitocris: I've had her forever, (I'm pretty sure she's been in my party since Septem.) She's adorable, both in appearance and personality and she has been infinitely helpful to me throughout my time playing F/GO. Also I guess she started my fascination for instant death mechanics in this game. Bedivere: Man literally too loyal to die. Naturally, I've had him in my party for far less time than I have NItocris. However, I think as a character he's pretty dope all around and I enjoy his role in the story. I think he's also probably been my most used Saber so far as well, and it's just really fun to blow shit up with a golden pimp slap. Tamamo no Mae: Mikon~! Now I know I said not based solely on waifuing when this girl's whole shtick is basically "wife appeal" but even so she's great. Design wise, there's literally nothing I don't like about her, visually. And I think she's got a nice bubbly and fun personality, and probably pulls off being thirsty for the main character in an alright way. Gameplay wise, as far as god tier supports go, she's actually probably my favorite to use of the bunch. Unless she's a lancer. Then I just enjoy her kicking people in the face. Gilgamesh: Specifically, Caster Gil (I have a lot of casters on this list.) This dude was surprisingly awesome. Firstly, I enjoy his outfit as Caster much more than I do his gaudy golden armor spiked hair shit. Secondly, I can now actually appreciate him and all of his accolades as the first king of mankind. He's like a total workaholic, charismatic, a total bro and humorously childish at times. I don't have him nor do I plan on getting him any time soon, mostly because Helena fits his role, but as an arts man myself I can also appreciate his kit. Tomoe Gozen: Alright I'll be honest, I don't really know much about her as Shimosa isn't out yet and I've only read a few of her my room lines. But, historically speaking, Tomoe is like the most badass fucking woman in all of history. And that seems to have been preserved in Fate which is great. Her kit is pretty nice, if not a bit standard, but I am always a fan of more DoT effects. And most importantly, she's got my favorite appearance/design out of literally any character in Fate, bar none so that's gotta count for something. Honorable Mentions: Just cause I felt like putting a few here cause why not; Edmond Dantes: Really wish I was around for his event because his idle sprite is actually the best and he seems like a total bro. True Saber: From Fate/Strange Fake. Dude has been a riot so far and I'm looking forward to more of him. Katsushika Hokusai: Both in Foreigner and Saber form she actually has probably some of my favorite animations in the whole game. And that's all.
  7. Tsetseg kept behind Cora, continuing to keep her eyes trained on the wyvern. As the woman she was using for cover made her comment about the wyvern and her going to a farther corner of the room, Tsetseg's eyes looked back to the girl, shaking her head. "No no. It'll break through the walls and go to all the sides of the room!" Seeing her friend still near them, and looking at the Isaurian girl, Tsetseg called out, "Penelope you should get away from it! They're nasty, and eat people whole. And then your horses. And then your crops!" The girl continued to use Cora as cover, unmoving from her spot and continuing to glare at both the wyvern and its apparent rider. Seeing that his first assumption was right, he looked to Gunther as he asked Amas his question. "Well, it's not that their bodies are running around, it's more like uh..." He pointed at Shiro. "Something like you, and your kind. I haven't seen that guy before, so he's probably not one of the villagers." As the wolf and beaver began their next round of charades, Alois raised an eyebrow at what they were trying to convey. As the knight had tried to guess it as well, Alois shrugged saying, "sounds about right." Looking at the two of his companions he said, "oh, right, Licorice also figured that they angered someone powerful or, something. So, matches up." Looking back to Amas he said, "so, was it the mayor that angered them? I bet it was him."
  8. Gathering the poison in her hand, the girl had formed it into an orb just as always. Though she was sure that just throwing it was going to fail yet again, this was the most direct method of delivering it. Though it was largely unnecessary, the girl wound back her arm before going for yet another pitch. As the orb traveled through the hole, as it reached the end Yuuka had focused on it yet again. Or, rather, she was aware she was unconsciously focusing on it, and instead made a conscious effort to cease that. As she did, without colliding into anything, the poison had gone from an orb into exploding into a gas. Refocusing on the now dispersed cloud, the girl had only one thought about what it was to do. Move. The cloud, however, seemed to be obstinate. Rather, now that it was no longer in orb form nor close by, the girl had trouble figuring out just how to focus on the poison. It was something strange. Neither a part of her body nor something she merely expelled. She could not command it freely like she could an arm, yet it was not so independent as sweat falling to the ground. It was something wholly different than either of those things, and something she could only imagine was beyond a normal human's comprehension. Yet as un-explainable as it was, she knew she was making progress with it. Though the poison cloud had not moved, she could still feel as though she was "pushing" against it. And, that it had moved was merely a result of her not "pushing" hard enough. And so she tried again. And again. And again. Each time she tossed her orb, the girl could start to feel the fatigue begin to set further in, yet each time she felt it was inching farther. That it was responding to her more. With one last pitch, the girl tossed her orb of poison into the hole. Exploding at the end of it, the girl focused. She wished for the cloud to move forward, and to the side. And so it did. As gently as though it were pushed by a breeze, it still held and made its way over to the dummies. Moving to the side, it coated one, leaving the other safe. As she did this, a dinging noise resounded through the room. Hearing a door to her side unlock, the girl let out a sigh of relief, figuring that she had now finally passed her trial. Looking at her palm, she simply thought about it, wondering what else was possible. If it was all a matter of effort, of creativity and simply her will, then what else was her poison able to accomplish? The girl hadn't the faintest idea, and she was a bit fatigued to really care at the moment. All that did was that she had passed. Walking over to the door, Yuuka entered the next room over. Surprised to see someone else, someone that was neither a classmate of hers nor her teacher, the girl simply waved to the person saying, “well, hello there.” Yuuka was met with a girl of small stature, with long black hair, who greeted her new partner with an enthusiastic wave. “Hi there!” After Ms. Hitotsume explained that this was to be a mock combat trial where the two teamed up, the girl nodded. She seemed to have a pretty good grasp of what was going on, then eyed Yuuka quizzically. “So, what’s your Quirk do anyway? And your name too. I can’t just call you ‘vanilla ice cream hair girl’ forever, can I?” Yuuka looked at the girl with a raised eyebrow, but still smiled. She hadn't called her that all yet. "Well, my name is Itou Yuuka. And hmm,” the girl put a finger to her chin as she thought about what next to say. She didn't really think it was worth telling her everything about her quirk, and the girl herself had just come to the realization that perhaps she didn't know anything about it anyway. So, it wouldn't do well to mislead the girl. Nodding, with a sweet smile on her face the girl said, “and I suppose you could say my quirk is to poison things. Mostly through contact, but, well it’s not all that interesting.” Her expression turning to a frown she said, “that being said, it’s rude to not introduce oneself first when asking a name right? This is especially so for a hero.” After finger wagging she then changed back to a smile saying, “so, what is your name Miss?” “Ah, right. My bad. Katatsu Yuri, Class 1-A!” Yuri held her hands out, emitting a smokescreen through which Yuuka couldn’t see. “My Quirk lets me create this smoke. Plus, I sound like I’m everywhere in it at once when I’m talking!” Yuri stopped generating smoke, prompting the blinding haze to disappear before it could spread too much. “I can see through it just fine, of course.” She flashed Yuuka a thumbs-up. “We’re both in the hero class, so let’s get along, mkay?” Yuuka looked impressed by the girl's quirk, and seemingly reached for a notebook that was not there. Frowning a bit at this, she then shrugged and perked back up, looking to her partner. Giving them a thumbs up as well, the girl said, “of course, looking forward to working with you Katatsu-san.”
  9. As the girl had walked into the bar, it had seemed that Damien had spotted her almost immediately. As he called out to her, the girl let out a sigh and made her way over to him. Offering her a drink, Ryia simply let out a nervous chuckle and gestured towards the boy with her hand saying, "ah, well, um, I'm not much of a drinker. I just came here to, um, tell you something." "Come to an-announce your undying love for me? I already know that!" Damien said, then gave a laugh and took a swig from his mug. "Eh? N-no, nothing like...uhhh..." The girl was caught off guard by the statement, and could only grow more uncomfortable as she figured what the rest of the conversation with the drunk male would be like. So, trying to wave his comment away she said, "no, um, see, we...we're leaving the city now." "Oh, we are?" He started to get up and crashed into the table. Then flopped back in his seat. "I don't think I can get up." Looking at the boy, a bit concerned and looking to his minotaur friend to see if he shared her concern at all, she then looked back to Damien. "Are you uh...well..." Well, if he couldn't move, she supposed that made things easier. Forcing a smile, as if to try and soften the blow with a positive attitude, the girl said, "well, that uh, works out great. Yeah. Because we thought that you could stay...here. In the city. While we go do outside city stuff." "Here that A-a....buddy? I'm being left behind." Damien said, to which the minotaur responded by shrugging and saying something in his native tongue. Ryia couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. They had been the ones to ask him to come along after all, and so she felt bad simply leaving the boy here at their first stop since joining. Still, doing her best to keep a poor smiling face she said, "oh um, no we're not uh, leaving you behind or anything. We're just taking care of a small request. We'll be sure to um, come back and meet up with you again. Yeah. Instead you could um..." mulling over it for a bit, the girl seemed to suddenly get an idea as she said, "instead we were um, thinking you could ask around and town and uh, look into that thing. That thing we're looking for." He gestured wildly with his mug. "Why you think I'm ere? Kids these days don't have any respect." He starts grumbling and drinking at the same time. "Ah, well, um, that's...that's wonderful. Um, thanks then, Damien." The girl then reached out to awkwardly pat Damien on the shoulder, as if to thank him. His hand goes to her, swiftly, the boy tensing up a moment before relaxing and patting her hand. "No problem ssscheetheart" "Um, right." Just standing there, awkwardly for a bit, the girl then said, "well um, I'll be going now. Thanks again. And um," waving to the minotaur she said, "nice um, meeting you." Back to Damien she said, "well, bye." And with that the girl left the bar. Meeting up with Geoff, the group had headed out of the city, making their way to their destination. As the group was on the road, the girl kept to the center of the group, on the look out for anything that would jump out at them from any angle. Not wanting a repeat of last time, the girl kept at the ready in case of any strange bee attacks. Thankfully, no such thing happened, however the road itself only grew more ominous the further they walked down it. Seeing bodies on the ground, seeming to be freshly killed, Ryia kept on guard. The easiest explanation off the top of her head was that of bandits. The corpses were killed by weapons and it was the middle of a now unprotected road, so the thought wasn't out of the ordinary. And as they were attacked by arrows, Ryia kept vigil to make sure there was no one still around the scene of the crime waiting to ambush them. This did not stop as the group took their momentary respite, the girl still looking out for anything. As Geoff spoke up, the girl gave a small sigh but said, "well um, it's been awhile since we uh...since we've traveled with someone so, enthusiastic. But um, well, maybe it's for the best that they left. It would be bad if someone who um, who couldn't properly defend themselves was in danger...right?"
  10. Leon looked to Edda as Layne mentioned getting information from her. The girl seemed to be in some kind of a huff as she was conversing with Alexis. Though the Jouran seemed to be quite annoyed, Leon was glad to see that Alexis had managed to get her at least talking. All the same, he knew these things took time, and she was more likely to talk the more comfortable she was. Which was something Leon hardly doubted he could do, especially given the circumstances. Looking back to Layne as he responded to his next comment, Leon simply nodded. "I'm counting on it." Soon enough, Rona and Yue came back, with what looked like a large bear in tow. Standing up and going to their aid Leon smiled saying, "good work both of you. This'll be more than enough for tonight." Helping Rona drag the pair to where it needed to be, the boy then walked back starting to get the tools he needed to prepare their meal. As he did, Rona walked over to him, informing him of what she had seen in the forest. Furrowing his brow, the young male said, "I see." Putting a finger to his chin, Leon naturally figured that there might be some kind of monster left in the forest. It wasn't unthinkable. A hound would fit the bill for something that would stalk them all the way here, but it didn't quite match up with what she was talking about. Looking to the woods, wary about what was in them he turned back saying, "well, I'll be on the lookout for sure. Thanks for telling me about this. For now, though," placing a hand on here shoulder as he began to walk towards the bear he said, "let's eat." From there, the group prepared the bear and cooked it, having enough portions to go around for the group. Leon was content to eat quietly, slowly eating away at the meat though seeming to enjoy it as he watched the treeline. Edda, however, seemed to simply prodding at the piece of meat in front of her. She seemed to be wary of the meat, seeming to be offended by both the odor and appearance. Unfortunately, she was hungry, and thus had no choice. And so, reluctantly, she ate the bear meat, chewing on it with an unpleasant expression on her face.
  11. As Alois split off from the rest of the group and made his way over to the house, he found his path blocked by something strange indeed. A pair of animals, ones that were again not from this village, seemed to be at the doorway. Looking beyond it, though, he found himself seeing something even weirder. Shiro was standing around, Gunther was level with the animal trying to converse with and there was...there was a naked man on all fours that seemed to happily yelp at him. Alois shrugged at frog man's question saying, "well, the girls got back without getting hurt or burning the whole forest down. And the rest of the group went with Cora.Other than that, nothing new over there." Well, there was something more, but Alois figured he'd wait to tell them everything else. Looking back to the wolfhound, Alois began to see it look specifically to him and start making gestures with its paws. As it motioned between him and everyone else around, Alois couldn't help but snort at Gunther's comment. "Well, that''s nothing new." After making his sarcastic comment, though, Alois put his hand to his chin as he watched the dog look to him. It definitely seemed to be trying to tell him something. And it certainly seemed like it knew him, even if Alois had never seen the animal in his life. And so, he thought about what it had done, and what Shiro had said. Coupled that with their theories on the town so far, and there was only one thing the young fighter could think of. "Well, I suppose this is pretty crazy but..." He looked at the dog. "Amas?" The dog nodded at him, giving a woof of confirmation. Looking to the naked man, one that he similarly didn't recognize the boy said, "so...Icelias?" The man seemed to get excited at this, sitting up straight with their head cocked to the side. Bending his head back and letting out a sigh he said, "well, guess that's that." Looking to Shiro, and with a joking tone, Alois said, "hate to break it to you, but I just don't think frogs and dogs were ever meant to be." His tone going more flat he said, "that man over there is Icelias. A dog. And this dog over here is Amas, the guy who owns this place." Chuckling a bit he looked to the dog saying, "been awhile old man, but can't say I expected to see you like this." Going to a more pensive expression he said, "can't imagine this was your fault, but the hell did you guys do to end up like this?" As Tsetseg followed the rest of the group through the village, the girl couldn't help but marvel at each and every one of the animals that she saw on her way. She wondered why there were so many here, though she could only assume that this place was some kind of strange wonderland. As such, she didn't really understand why Licorice seemed to be in such in a huff about this place. Even if they were all actually people, it wasn't like people changing into animals was particularly strange. The thought of it as well started to get Tsetsegs mind to race about what kind of animal she'd end up as if she were cursed. While the first thought that came to her mind was a fox, she realized that perhaps that was too limiting for her. Even if she would have her own fluffy tail that she could curl up with, she couldn't imagine the difficulty in trying to hug her own tail while on all four paws. As such, the next idea that jumped to her mind was a squirrel. They could stand on their hind legs easy and their tails were just as big and fluffy - no perhaps even more so - than a foxes. Plus they could climb things easy. Tsetseg liked to climb trees. Her own mental ramblings ceased as they made it to the house they were supposed to go to, the girl's attention captured by the thing sticking in the window. It was big. Scaly. And pink! It was so strange to her that she couldn't help but marvel, though the more she stared the more off a feeling she got from it. Unable to place quite what it was, her attention was snapped back to the door as it was answered. Smiling brightly the girl gave an enthusiastic wave to everyone saying, "hello, hello. Nice to meet you too!" Putting her hand to her chest the girl introduced herself saying, "I'm Tsetseg!" In spite of the introduction that had already happened. As the girl seemed to be curious about the proteans, after Penelope gave her answer, Tsetseg merely said, "yeah, they do. Aren't they great! They're so nice, large and fluffy. Soft to touch and warm and absolutely fantastic!" Well, she had known Sienna's was at least. Licorice tail was still a foe she had yet to conquer. As the young archer's eyes scanned around the room, she then noticed the rest of the scaly pink thing. That is to say, its head. Eyes going wide at the sight of what she now knew to be a wyvern, the girl let out a small yelp and jumped back, hiding behind the nearest person; that being Cora. The girl seemed on edge, her eyes fixated on the wyvern and then the person she could only assume was its owner. Not saying anything, the girl simply get looking back and forth between the two, as if simply sizing them up and waiting for something to happen.
  12. With each of their attacks connecting, it was clear that Allie was looking worse wear right about now. The godslayer seemed to be barely able to keep standing, yet despite that still seemed to be indignantly ready for fighting Marie and her friends. Clenching her fists tightly, Marie glared right at the Tyranitar. "I...I don't want to keep fighting you." Declaring to the Tyranitar, she continued. "I don't want to keep hurting, I don't want to keep seeing my friends keep hurting. And I don't want to keep hurting you. But...But you won't stop. Not until you have someone make you learn otherwise. So," pointing to herself, she shouted, "as an acting Big Sister myself, let me teach you a lesson!" With that, the mystic water around her neck began to glow, as the girl began to sing a lyricless tune, with the only instrumental to follow it being the sound of the falling rain. As her song persisted, the splashing water hitting the ground began not to scatter, but instead flow upwards. Slowly but steadily, ground water began to gather into two orbs on either side of Marie. The two orbs continued to hover, coalescing more water and growing larger and larger as Marie watched Keanu launch off his attack. Feeling a sense of calm and awe as she saw the Pikachu streak through the air like a lightning bolt in a storm she felt more ready to end this fight then ever before. Allie had put up yet another stone edge as a shield to block the attack from Keanu but, whether from haste, exhaustion or both, it proved to be just as ineffective as before. As the Pikachu's slammed into it, his body continued to strike into the Tyranitar, launching her back in the process. The godslayer managed to skid to a halt, their body hands and feet tearing through the ground beneath them to stop themselves. All the same, it had looked as though Allie couldn't stand up from the attack. Yet, she still looked towards them. Still seethed. Still seemed ready to continue fighting. And so, Marie responded in kind. Letting loose her voice yet again, rising in volume the girl then changed from a tune to a shout, as the two orbs of water launched at Allie. Exhausted, paralyzed, and still recovering from the last attack, Allie could do little to stop the girls strongest attack. With the two orbs of water exploding on contact with Allie, unhindered in their assault, Allie was blown back once again. However, this time, she didn't seem to get up. She didn't declare to keep fighting. Still breathing, Allie had seemed to no longer be conscious, and thus it was clear the group had won. Marie stared at Allie for a few moments more, trying to make sure that she wouldn't get up and keep fighting. Then, when she was sure it was done, she let out a clear sigh of relief, falling backwards onto the ground. "Ow. I'm beat..but..." While on her back, Marie looked towards the top of the volcano behind her, simply smiling without finishing her statement. As Shaymin ran off, stating that they didn't want to fight, Nine simply watched the girl go. "Well, can't say that's unexpected." Soon enough, Lok ran after her as well, leaving it just Nine with the rest of the Alpha residents. "Well, he's got that under control right?" Looking to Gwen, he paused for a few moments, before sighing. "You're right, let's go catch up with them." As he began to make his way away from the gathering, he turned back saying, "oh and don't beat yourself up over it." Running towards the others, seeing Kayla as well had appeared to catch up with Shaymin, the boy shouted, "wait up!" He then slowed his pace down and winced, as he saw the legend crash into the deputy. "Well, that's one way to do that, sure." Walking over to the two, he stretched out both his hands for either of them to grab saying, "I'm sorry for the sudden shock, Shaymin. You don't have to fight it, really. I just want to ask you about a few things."
  13. Ross looked to Morgan as she made her comment towards the girl, wondering if she was from 30 years in the past with the way she spoke. As the fan eventually shrunk away though, Ross was left with a mix of feelings. On the one hand, she was certainly and devoted and probably wasn't good with people in general, so she felt sorry that she couldn't help her. On the other hand, she was kind of creepy and just kind of accosted them out of nowhere, so that was certainly a point against her. All the same, the girl just looked on curiously as she shuffled away, turning her attention back to Morgan as she talked about rooms. Shrugging she said, "well, I imagine they aren't that hard to find but..." She raised an eyebrow at the girl's last comment. Looking to Aurora, as if trying to get an explanation, the girl simply shrugged. "Well, I need to know where to sleep anyway. So let's get going and meet this mystery person." With that, Ross began to make her way out of the mall.
  14. Jacklyn took in a deep breath of air as she had finally left the lighthouse. A smile beaming on her face, the girl felt re-energized by the atmosphere of the outdoors. Looking to the rest of the group, she said, "nothing like leaving a stuffing old building or sewer and getting right back into the swing of things right guys?" As Belle seemed to be slouching against the wall, wondering what to do next, the girl put a hand to her chin. Perking up at the idea of getting something to eat, she said, "great idea Belle! After all, adventure isn't just about exploring new places, but exploring new flavors as well!" Something she had heard from a television show once. "And since we're in a new place, there's no doubt new flavors here to try!" Pointing forward she said, "alright gang! Our next mission is to find a place to sit down and eat. And also! While we're exploring and getting something to eat, let's all each think of something to do or look for while we're in town." Thinking herself, the girl said, "I need to find a gift shop." Looking to the others she shouted, "onward!"
  15. Stella was a bit surprised as Vivian brought out a camera, rather than her phone, this time. Before she even began to look at the pictures, it was almost comical how clear the difference between the two of them was. Not to mention the view from some of the pictures was far more impressive than anything she had managed to do as well. While looking through the, rather extensive, library of Vivian's images the girl felt a vibration in her pocket. Almost instinctively and automatically, the girl reached in, grabbing out her cell phone. Seeing it was a message from Kelsey, the girl seeming to be quite lost, Stella looked back up and said, "oh, sorry about that. It's Kellz, just, one second." Sending the girl directions, she then went back to looking at the pictures. This process continued for a few minutes, Stella smirked at the first picture of the dog, starting to type a reply when she stopped with a chuckle as the second picture came through. Eventually though, her friend seemed to find their way in, and Stella gave them a wave in response. Eventually, as the girl made her way over to their table with food in hand, Stella pushed the chair back for Kelsey to sit into. As she made her comment about the clerk, Stella couldn't help but nod, thinking the two of them were quite strange in their own way. As the girl then made her next comment, Stella gave the girl a humorless look, as if to judge her for speaking with her face stuffed. All the same, she picked up the camera and showed it to Kelsey. "Vivian was showing me the pictures of her home planet." Flipping through the pictures, it was clear that the planet was far more lush with vegetation, and the color green and blue were definitely prominent. Not to mention the different kinds of animals that Stella hadn't ever seen before. She had to admit that the buildings were far more advanced then she was expecting, and she felt a bit let down that it wasn't actually a planet of people in wooden tree huts that had achieved space exploration. Of course, the reality made far more sense and it was entirely Stella's own fault for such expectations to begin with. Putting the camera done once she and her friend were done looking, the girl said, "man, these are pretty impressive. Do you do a lot of climbing?"
  16. Wind up. Pitch. Impact. Boom. Cloud. Double Knockout. Failure. With a deep sigh and slightly heavy breaths, Yuuka slumped her shoulders as this had happened yet again. And again. And again. In fact, it was practically all that had happened in the time since she had begun her training in this facility. She had tried all she could think of to hit the dummies as best she could. The challenge was simple. A straight toss would always occur in a knock out of both targets. And throwing it down the hole would always result in a straight toss. She had tried many ways of tossing. Different speeds. Different curves. Different starting points. And without fail her cloud would either explode on both of them or merely hit against the wall and not reach either. And, while she was normally fine doing this, doing it for so long and so often had started to leave the young poisonous girl tired. And so, she leaned back, squatting down into fully sitting on the ground. Letting out a defeated sigh, the girl tried to rethink her approach. Thinking back on it, Ms. Hitotsume had said that her making orbs was likely hampering her powers. And, each time she had thought about it, she had gotten nowhere and simply retried her already proven ineffective method of pitching. However, if she kept stubbornly trying to use the only thing she had, it was clear she was going to fail for real from pure exhaustion. The obvious solution was to blame Ms. Hitotsume for giving her an impossible task. After all, it was her body and her quirk, so how could her teacher possibly know more about it than her? Of course, thinking like that annoyed Yuuka to no end, and thinking rationally on it it didn't even make sense to her. As she tried to think about what her power actually was, she knew that outside of a fundamentally basic idea on what it was, she could hardly explain it herself. And so, all she could do was speculate on what it was her quirk did. And so, any idea that Ms. Hitotsume had must have been equally valid as well. In essence, her teacher didn't have an answer, but knew that there was a problem that had one. And it was up to Yuuka to figure out what that solution was herself. Letting out a soft chuckle, the girl said, "what a harsh teaching style." Yuuka knew that if she was to figure this out she needed to go over everything she knew about her quirk, and figure out where it was she was tripping herself up. Firstly, she secreted a poison like substance across her skin that on contact fatigued a target. The primary method of using this was skin to skin contact. However, she could make an orb of poison that she was able to throw. When it made contact, it exploded and released a cloud of a less potent version of her poison. The girl stopped herself as she finished this explanation, thinking there was something off about it. Replaying it in her head over and over, the girl simply said, "wait...hmm..." Looking at her palm, the girl focused on herself and made yet another orb of poison appear in it. Studying the orb more carefully, it was clear that it was a gas of some kind. "I see. How simple minded could I possibly be?" The girl admonished herself, realizing the answer itself was obvious. One could not will a liquid into a gas. One could not shape gas without a container. One could not hold onto gas. It mattered little if one could because one could not possibly pitch gas like it was a baseball. Standing up, the girl understood now. Her power was not to create a ball of poison. Her power was not to pitch poison. She had simply convinced herself long ago that this was the only way it could be use. It was the most logical conclusion in her mind to end at, and having formed muscle memory on it, she couldn't possibly see it as anything else. Stepping back, a renewed look of confidence on her face, the girl said, "alright. Let's start round two."
  17. As Lindow told her to speak what was on her mind, the girl looked to the side saying, "um, well, that. I um, well I'd actually..." Both wanting to wait for everyone to be present and wanting to just wait to say anything in general, the girl then felt a small pat on her back. Looking over as Keres seemed to step up and explain for her, the girl braced herself for the reaction of the others. As Reinaan seemed less than pleased with the idea, Ryia simply bowed her head saying, "I'm sorry." Looking back up at Reinaan and Lindow she said, "he just seemed really earnest and like he was going to go do it on his own anyway so I uh...I..." Looking to the side again she said, "sorry. I, um, probably should've, uh, talked to you all about it. First." As Pyrrha then came back, affirming what it was Keres had said, the girl let out a sigh. In one part, she felt bad about simply leaving Damien behind after asking him to come with them to begin with. On the other hand, she had felt like he and Geoff wouldn't get along in the slightest. Though, it hardly seemed like any of the others were going to get along with him either. Looking at Pyrrha, nervous smile still on her face, the girl said, "ah, uh, um, about that. We'll uh, be bringing Geoff along with us. Aha. Aha. Ah..." An apologetic look replacing this smile she muttered, "sorry." With that out of the way, the girl looked to the rest of the group saying, "well. Someone should um, probably tell him that we're going to be out...right?" Still feeling guilty the girl followed it by saying, "I'll uh...I'll go do that." And with that, she walked into the bar.
  18. Edda physically recoiled, stumbling back a bit even while sitting down, at Alexis's last comment. "W-what?" Stunned for a moment, the girl then folded her arms and pouted, turning to the side. "Well- well, you're the last person I want to talk to. Hmph." Continuing to look away from the girl, her expression softened saying, "but, well, it's not like I hate meeting new people or anything. It's just...everyone I meet is either terrible, or pushy. And I don't think that's the kind of excitement I need." Leon nodded, his own expression becoming a bit solemn as he said, "well, your worries are not yours alone. This whole bounty thing has kept me on edge for awhile, and I can't say walking through the country side has made me feel any better. But well..." Leon trailed off for a moment. He didn't really place any responsibility on Layne for this pressure he was feeling. No, since he had found out about it, he had begun to believe this would be a matter of course, regardless of if they had met Edda or not. Of course, not saying that, the boy simply looked back to Layne. "But, I'm the leader, so there's no point in you worrying about if anyone gets hurt. That fault will be mine alone. However," with a small smile on his face he said, "if they are, I'll be looking to you to make sure everyone's healed just fine." Rona would be taught a very important fact on this day; bears were heavy. Though the girl was strong, carrying the creature's corpse was not much of an option, though she would still be able to drag it along the ground with great effort. It mattered little, though, as both her and Yue would not find anything impeding their path back to the camp. This was not to say, however, that their trip was without incident. Every now and then, they would feel as though they were being watched by something, as if a strange gaze was peering at them through the woods. Added to this, were they ever to look back they would see what appeared to be a large shadow. Though, this would only last for a second, as it would either dart away almost immediately, or were they to look away and look back it simply would no longer be in the same spot. And strangely, it wasn't as if this was accompanied by any noise, such as the rustling of branches or leaves. All the same, this did not happen frequently nor did it make their journey any more difficult.
  19. As the others seemed to reach about the same conclusion everyone else had, it did little to actually solve the problem. The boy then looked a bit stunned as the princess gave him a finger wagging, muttering, "excuse me?" All the same, as they reached the market square, Alois was surprised as Licorice seemed to know something about more the magic that was used here. All the same, as she said the villagers must've angered someone, the boy shrugged saying, "I'm sure a witch was just looking for a place to sleep here and they slammed the door in her face. Sounds about right to me." Then, as the princess made her declaration, Alois shrugged saying, "well there you have it." Turning to Licorice he said, "looks like we're in it for the long haul here. Besides, much as I'd like leaving them like this, there's also something appealing about them owing me and a bunch of outsiders one." And, well, things would probably be much rougher for Cora if nothing changed. "Gunther and Shiro went to investigate a house. Apparently there's someone else in it who's also human, though, I don't know more than that." Turning to the princess he said, "and Cora's house is down that way. It's near the wall and well, there'll probably be a pink wyvern there so you probably won't miss it." Tsetseg, who had been marveling at the idea of having a tail of her own, seemed shocked at the mention of a wyvern and suddenly much more wary. Alois, however, tried to figure out if he forgot to mention something else to them. Well, it probably wasn't a big idea. Going towards the house Gunther and Shiro were in, Alois said, "feel free to pay her a visit. I'm going to go make sure the other two don't get lost."
  20. The girl didn't seem at all phased by Belle's comment, instead just smiling as both Ivan and the Haunter seemed to get past their differences. Nodding to herself for a job well done on her part, for what job none could be certain, the girl then looked back to Ivan. "Yeah, we can get going now." Shooting a look over to Belle she said, "of course, you can't go exploring sitting down, so let's get up Belle! And don't steal his comics. That'd be rude." She then looked over to both Dennis and his Haunter saying, "same goes for you two. Don't steal any more snacks. That's also rude." Clapping her hands together before pumping her fist in the air she shouted, "alright gang, let's get ready to get to more adventure!" Giving a wave to Dennis she said, "later." And with that, the girl began to make her way out of the lighthouse.
  21. Stella went to take a sip of her drink as Vivian gave a response with her usual enthusiasm behind it. The girl wasn't entirely sure what her roommate may have been expecting, and outside of food and she supposed showing Vivian a cityscape - one different from the array of tree houses that were in her head - she didn't really know what they would do once they were there. It wasn't as if Stella even really knew what sites to see or what to do in her free time, spending most of her time indoors anyway. No. That was more a job for Kelsey if anything. As Stella started to drift in her own thoughts, the girl was soon pulled back as Vivian had asked pictures of her. Oh. That was a much simpler way of figuring out what Vivian's home was like. Of course, the other girl had asked her first, and so rummaging through her pocket, the girl picked out her phone. Scrolling through it for a bit she said, "no worries. Here. Like I said, it isn't much - really, it might be even less than what you're expecting. But well, it's probably much different than what you're used to." Scrolling through the pictures, Vivian would see that most of the scenery was that of an urban center. Steel and concrete buildings that shot high into the air, some into the skyline. Paved roads decorated with street lamps and filled to capacity with cars. A small block of grassy area sectioned off from the rest of the city, with its only real similarity to the rest of the images being the amount of pigeons that gathered around. The roads and buildings themselves seemed poorly maintained, yet still functional. There were also a few other things of note that Stella herself realized, much to her embarrassment, as she scrolled through these photos. Firstly, there weren't many of them, and she had very nearly scrolled through her whole library in almost no time flat. Stella was not a habitual photographer after all. Secondly, nearly all of the images in some way either included either herself, Kelsey, or both. The only exception to this being one from the day she had gotten her phone, a picture with her and her father smiling over a birthday cake. Blushing a bit as she scrolled into this image, Stella cleared her throat saying, "well, that's about it. I'm sure Kelsey has more photos if you asked her." As Stella moved to put her phone away, she then paused for a moment. Scrolling out of her album and instead to her messages, the girl seemed disappointed for a moment before putting it away. Remembering what she wanted before, she looked back to Vivian saying, "oh um, right. I also can't really picture where you live. Or, well, I think I'm way off the mark."
  22. Leaning back in her chair, shrugging her shoulders as Morgan told her that no one slept in coffins. "Well, you got me there Princess." Ross had to admit something. She had figured she knew what kind of person Morgan was from just a few minutes of talking and a movie. And while she had seemed to still have the basic idea down - not actually expecting her to be an actual witch - she had to admit that the more Morgan described her life back home the more...confusing she was. All the same, Ross got up from her chair, taking her own trash and throwing it away before following the rest of the girls out. As they were leaving, Ross was then surprised again as Morgan asked what she thought of the place she had found herself in. Thinking on it for a moment the girl said, "well, it's familiar enough but I don't think I ever had living plant boy bands or movies quite like that from back home. As far as daily living goes here I imagine this place is a lot more, um, unique then Earth. But well, I haven't been eaten by a five story tall monster yet so I'd say it breaks even to be about the same." With a small grin on her face, she then looked to Morgan saying, "but, I suppose if everyone's as varied as the three of us, then it'll probably make up for the lack of daily monsters in no time." The girl's were then stopped by a sight far more terrifying then the daily demon could ever hope to be. As the overly eccentric and eager girl asked them for funds to see the pant plant band. As Aurora seemed to be low on funds she then deflected the loaning of money to the other two. Ross, who was pretty sure she was not included in this "celebrity" description, held her hands up. "I just got here, so it's not like I have money either." Looking to the girl, feeling a strange sense of pity for her and like if she didn't get her ticket she'd curse Ross's bloodline...more...the girl asked, "are like, concerts a rare thing or something?"
  23. As Ryia walked alongside the Water chosen, Ryia couldn't help but give a defeated sigh as the girl made her comment. She had already figured that the others were probably not fond on the idea, but as Keres seemed to drop the topic, Ryia couldn't help but feel as though she had made a great mistake. All the same, she wasn't sure if she could just let the man, fake or not, go out and do something that would get himself killed in good conscience. As such, it was her responsibility to tell the group about this, and her responsibility to also keep him safe. And who knew, maybe he would turn out to actually be capable? Maybe he was just a bit overeager but still able to hold his own, and would be a worthwhile addition to their team to solving this issue. "That seems very unlikely." "Yeah...I know..." The girl's mental voice was as downtrodden as could be at her spirit's comment, but all the same, she could hope. Eventually, Keres and Ryia had managed to reach the rest of the group, or at least Reinaan and Lindow. Assuming that Pyrrah had gone into the bar herself, the girl walked up to the other two saying, "hey um...hi. Glad we caught up and...is uh...Are we um...uh..." Ryia found herself stumbling over her words, likely for the same reason I child who did something wrong would in front of their parent would. Without finishing her statement, the girl looked into the building to see that Damien was also there, which was good. That meant they were all together now. Which meant she could tell them all at once. Which was good. Good. Freezing up near the door, the girl seemed to not move, and more just stare into space which happened in Damien and Pyrrah's general direction before turning around. Looking to Reinaan and Lindow, clearly struggling with something but still keeping a force smile on her face the girl said, "so um...we were...we weren't gonna...leave immediately...right? The city, that is. For our...yeah..."
  24. Nine appreciated the sentiment that both of his teammates had in trying to fill him in on what it was they were going to do. Nine kept his gaze to Gwen's father for the explanation, not wanting to lock eyes with a man he knew that in any case of a staring contest he would most assuredly lose. Of course, he didn't have a choice but to look towards the Enforcer as he began telling him about the state of the legends around the area and that of the people of Omega. As Gwen went to apologize for her actions but also assure Nine that she meant well. Folding his arms, the Houndoom mulled over the new information to himself for a moment before saying, "well, that's fine by me." Looking to Gwen he said, "don't feel so bad about it. I mean, I can't say I particularly enjoy being kept in the dark about something like this. And honestly," Nine looked over to the Enforcer, "I can't help but feel like I've been strong armed into this." Looking back to Gwen he said, "but, well, I trust you and Lok and really you could've asked me to help any time. After all, this is a matter related to a legend, and I'd be hurt if you told me that you didn't think a Chaser like I would be interested in resolving this issue. More than that, though," putting his hand on the woman's shoulder and smiling to her he said, "this is your problem and your home's problem right? As a friend, how could I possibly refuse. So, if you want me to fight some world ending legend, than I gladly would." Turning back to the Enforcer he said, "of course, this isn't only my decision to make. Shaymin's the one unsealing the barrier right? So, she ultimately has to be fine with it as well." Grimacing as Allie refused to back down and only seemed to keep on taking the attacks that they were dealing to her. However, as Nani managed to hit Allie and knock some of the wind out of her, things seemed to from bad to better to bad again. Eyes going wide as Nani was grabbed, Marie knew that she had to do something to keep her friend from being killed. Marie had decided to fire another water gun at the back of Allie's leg, thinking that she was weak in the legs from the way she received the last hit.
  25. Edda hadn't really noticed anything that had been going on. The music and the chatter of the group had fallen on deaf ears to her, simply sitting along the riverside, looking into the waters below. Her hood being up had obscured her face, though it was clear to see that she was in a more solemn state as her back was hunched over and her feet pressed against the edge of the river. As the girl seemed to be lost in her own thoughts, in complete silence around her, her eyes suddenly went wide as this was broken. "Meep!" Edda let out a startled yelp as jolted from her position, falling to her side and with one hand in the river only to jolt back to land. Looking around, the girl seemed to realize something about what she just did, and thinking back to a prior conversation Edda simply muttered, "is that what that meant?" Her eyes then settled on the smiling visage of Alexis. Blushing in embarasement from what had just happened, the girl cleared her throat as she sat back up right. Not looking right at the girl, she said, "yes, I was thinking to myself. Alone. Don't you ever think...um, to yourself." Sighing and looking like she had only managed to defeat herself, the girl looked back to Alexis with somewhat of a pout on her face. "Well, what do you want?" With his face in his palm watching what had just transpired between the two girls, Leon continued to sit back. As he pulled his hand back, a small smile formed on his face as he looked back to Layne. "Well, I suppose it's better than keeping things dull around here. So, how're you holding up from the trip so far?"
