  3. "A republic with a High Warlord as a high ranking official? Are you conquerors, or are you diplomats? We humans tend to be quite the diplomats ourselves. If you are the same, I'm sure we'll get along just fine!" "The Galactic Union's database has us labeled as a warrior society, but we have no interest in war beyond for sport or as a means of retaliation. I suppose you could call us gladiators. Honestly, we're not that experienced in dealing with other races." “May I ask a question myself? You seemed to be assuming we were allied with or possibly a part of something called...Bol...he? I really hope I didn't butcher that pronunciation. A-Anyway! Could you possibly tell us what those are, that way we could steer clear of them if we happen to end up running into them." A prolonged grunt sounded from the other side of the communications, as the aliens who had visited the bridge gave the crew of the Rebounder some sort of salute, turned, and left with their small companion in tow. "They're the big dog in the yard, so to speak. Very smart, very advanced, and very insistent that everyone follows their religion. We've told them plenty of times that we don't want their faith, and even signed treaties meant to keep them from trying to influence us, but they don't stop. If they continue to insist, I fear the Vruul people will have no choice but to go to war. Don't worry about finding them; they'll find you, no doubt." “The Solar System has not had contact with life beyond our own star system before and we are hoping to learn what lies beyond it. Would you be able to tell us how many...other races you have contact with?” "Well, there's your kind we've just met. Then there's the Bolhe we talked about earlier, and the Wi. They're good folk, and are probably already getting a welcome wagon together for your ship. And there's also the Sargatti. They should be excited to meet you. Sorry to say, but you've been living in the middle of nowhere all this time." "I see..." The middle of nowhere, huh? "Where can we go to meet these other races, then?" "If you keep going past our star, you should... what did they call it? A blue star? I think that's the word. You should see one of those at some point. They have this device installed near it that should take your ship closer to the hub of the Galactic Union. The Wi should be expecting you by now; one of their ambassadors was with the crew I sent to your ship." "Understood. If that's all, we'll be on our way." "Very well. May your triumphs be many." With that, the transmission was cut off. It was time for the Rebounder to move onward, and Serena gave out the order to reflect that. With mankind's first contact with an alien race being rather brief, but still important, mankind had been given directions to join the interstellar community. And Serena would be damned if her ship wouldn't jump at the chance. "We've got some time before reaching the star the Vruul mentioned, Captain. Orders?" "Take it easy for now, but keep this ship moving. And try to keep an eye on our surroundings. We have no idea what's out here."

    Pokemon Atlas [R-16/IC]

"I do not condone stealing but even if I did. I see no seating. Was there supposed to be? This is a rather unorthodox venue..." This girl was the unorthodox one. She probably took that a bit too literally. Maybe it was best to clarify. On the other hand... "Thank you~!" This other girl got the idea at least. Ran watched as the fight went on for a bit longer, but suddenly, it was cut short. Trey was giving up. Not the best way to wrap up one's first battle, was it? But at the same time, was Ran even in a position to make that kind of judgment when she'd never even had her own first battle yet? In any case, it looked like it was time to do some introducing. "I guess Rancoat already introduced herself. My name's Trey, and this here's Ollie." "That's not my name!" Ran interjected. "Good day to you. I am Anneliese Faraday. And this is Leopold." "I am Olivia Fournier - you have the pleasure of just calling me Olivia, though. And this is my precious Cerbi." "Ran Kuroki. Nice to meet you. My partner is a Staryu named Orion." She didn't feel like letting him out of his poke ball right this moment. Not with all these other people and pokemon running around. Knowing him, he'd do something to start some trouble. Ran didn't want to be held accountable for that. "Then, it's you and me," Shizuka said - mostly to herself - looking at the poke ball in her hand. Inside it was a Vulpix. MapCo's Vulpix. Her Vulpix. She'd gotten the map stakes like she was supposed to, did some light shopping, and with that, it was time to get to work. Spread these bad boys throughout the Johto Region to update MapCo's map. That was what she'd been told to do, and she was gonna do it. Starting here, in fact. Shizuka had done some looking around town. None of these stakes had been planted anywhere in town. And so, the girl had sought out a vacant lot to plant one. What she didn't account for was the aftermath of a pokemon battle. One with a few spectators, at that. Given their small pokemon, they must have been inexperienced trainers. They all seemed to be from rather different backgrounds too, simply from their respective manners of dress. For a bunch of new trainers to be in this town today, from all over the world... Well, there was only really one logical conclusion, wasn't there? No map stakes in sight. That was something. Maybe nobody had thought about that? Shizuka couldn't say she'd blame them. She didn't offer much in the way of greeting. Merely a glance in their direction, before sitting down at a spot on the vacant ground, and procuring then installing one of the map stakes she'd been entrusted with. What was she even supposed to say to them?
  5. Can't say I'm all that attached to any halloween costumes I've donned irl. For Halloween Masquerade monsters though, I'd call it a tie. My 2016 monster Chara, and my 2019 monster Kurumi, were equally enjoyable for me to play.
  6. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 1,000 Kanon had let Nomi lead the way. In hindsight, she wasn't really sure why she'd done it. It felt like the path she'd taken to get out of town had a lot of loops and easily-avoided detours. Or was that just her? In either case, they still made it out of town all the same. As they made their way out of town, Kanon took the lead instead. While letting Nomi lead the way through the city streets was one thing, she didn't trust the girl to be the leader of the pair in the wilderness. This was decidedly Kanon's element, so it was only natural she be the one to lead the way once out of town, right? As she was now the one in the front, Kanon didn't notice at first when Nomi had fallen behind. Or when she'd been brought aside by a pokemon. Not until looking behind her to make sure the girl was keeping up, and noticing she wasn't there. Great. Kanon turned back, retracing her steps to try and find Nomi, wherever she'd wandered off to. Without much luck at first. Then, suddenly, she heard a voice. "Rondo! What are you doing?" It was something at least. If this person wasn't with Nomi, maybe they'd seen her? Kanon followed the voice as the girl kept talking, eventually finding herself reunited with Nomi, and met with someone she'd never seen before. Given her repeated apologies and checking if Nomi was okay, it didn't seem like she was an enemy, either. Kanon eyed the girl over a bit more closely, before turning her attention back to Nomi. "You shouldn't go wandering off like that," Kanon sternly said. "People might get worried." And then there was the matter of this stranger. Who was she anyway? With her warning to Nomi handled, Kanon redirected her gaze back to this white-haired girl. "And then there's you. ...thanks for finding Nomi here, I guess. Name's Kanon. And you are?"

Nihilism is a very refreshing and comforting philosophy tbh. Anyway, 8/10. I'm familiar with this channel. The real funny thing about this song is how the instrumentals are totally unaffected by the beats being swapped. 7/10 OP's suggestion. I miss Shradow. Maybe if I post some BRADIO he'll appear. 8/10

  11. Location: Road to Adarid (Team Alola) Inventory: Good Rod, Antidote, Kasib Berry "I wanted a battle. Yet now, if I continue, it will only be an execution. That is not why I came here. Recover your strength. Next time there will be no interruptions. I will fight to the end no matter what tries to stop me. As for you. If we meet again I promise to make your death as quick as possible." And then, he was gone. If they met again he'd make their death quick. So the solution was pretty simple. Don't meet him again. For now, it seemed the boys were getting back up from their respective beatdowns. Best to make sure they were quite alright. Keanu was probably the worse for wear one, and there was this intuitive feeling Nani had. She recognized it. It meant something in particular. And so, the Mimikyu found the nearest stick she could get her hands on, and prodded Keanu with it a few times. "Rise and shine," she said. "Looks like despite everything, you're still alive. The bad guy left, so we should quit having dreams and get back on the road, and make sure to avoid that guy again in the future." Turning her head in Randy's direction - it seemed he was also getting up - Nani added "Isn't that right, Mr. Roarton?"
  12. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 1,000 The day had come and gone, quite eventfully what with the statue and the run-in with another group of trainers. When Kanon woke up the next day, she was surprised to find Oswald gone. Even more surprising was a note he'd left. Apparently he wanted to learn more about that statue, and felt it better to investigate on his own than with the girls. And here I thought I was the one that wasn't a people person. That was unfortunate, to say the least. Kanon was starting to like that guy, and then he leaves. And... Kanon's eyes drifted over to Nomi. And that means I'm stuck alone with you. Wonderful. She seemed to be awake, at least. "Good morning down there," she said, folding up the note and shoving it into her raincoat pocket. "Get up. We've still got a whole region to take on, and the sooner we're out of this big city, the better." Kanon wasn't sure what awaited down the road, but as much as she hated to admit it, she wasn't exactly willing to tackle it on her own. Even if her backup was just Nomi.
  13. Well, the metal dragon had been downed. But all of this was... Kokoro was having trouble taking it all in at once. There were so many names being thrown around. Omnimon Alter-S. The Digital World. A ton of information she didn't really understand. And what was a Digidestined supposed to be? And everyone's families had been evacuated... to California? What about other countries? Where were families in Japan being sent? Kyushu? The more she tried to figure this out, the less sense it all made. Not that anything that had happened recently exactly made sense. "Yeah whatever. So we gotta go all the way to California? If you ask me, we should try to find a way to get things back to normal...not try and hide away like rats in a cage!" "He's right!" Kokoro agreed. "We have to get all the way across a place as big as America after whatever happened, just to hide and wait for everything to blow over? We might as well try to fix what we can along the way instead of just saying, 'oh well I guess I'd better run away now.' I don't really understand a lot of what's going on, but I think I get enough to know this isn't something that'll pass while we're holed up somewhere." So it was best to do something with that in mind. Kokoro's eyes went back and forth between Mr. Henderson and Omnimon. "No matter what we do, you've got a lot to tell us. Sensei and Alter both."
  14. "Well, you know me. I'd be rich to pry for information from you. Hope the entertainment club serves you well. It was never my game, but I suppose neither was the duel team." "Doing something you don't want to so you can avoid doing something you want even less, or something?" Not much of a way to live, was it? Not that Kyouko had room to talk, given that was exactly what she was doing. Remembering the look of shock on the swim team captain's face was still satisfying, though. It probably would be all year. She really wished she'd taken a picture of that so she could look at it when she was feeling down. But that wasn't here or now. Here and now, a duel was starting. Hadn't she seen those two guys before? One of them was that Double Down kid, right? ...yeah. Looking at how they'd started out, it was the same kids. Double Down was the blonde, and the kid with the white hair was... "Are you at all close to Hiraku, Kyouko? I've never much talked to him. Seems like a bit of a thorn, but I'm not sure I'd like to much take a chance on dueling him. I've heard he's rather accomplished." Was that his name? "Never met him," Kyouko answered as the boys proceeded with their duel. Pointing at the blonde, she continued "Last I saw of these guys, that one forced a tie. I only caught the end of the duel though, so--" “A little luck, and a lot of will! Carry these wishes on your shimmering wings, and slash through the skies! Synchro Summon! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!” Hmm? This seemed like a losing position for blondie, but now? Things were getting interesting. Enough so for a small smile to crack its way onto Kyouko's face. "What about you?" she asked in return. "Are either of these boys important to you?"
  15. "H-h-hey you're the one...one of the ones...who left by foot e-earlier right? U-um, are you lost? I'm kind of...kind of lost too. Some other guys told me to f-find something for them but I don't know where it is. T-they said that the s-security officer had it but I don't know where...sorry. I shouldn't bother you. Sorry!" "Hold it," Sammi interjected. "I'm looking for something... no, someone, myself. Have you seen him? He's a robot, about..." Sammi got up on her tippy-toes, holding her hand up to emphasize BOMB's height. "This big. Should be pretty easy to spot and recognize. I'm not lost, but I also don't know what you're looking for or where this security officer is. The guy I'm looking for is a house head though, so you may have better luck asking him." "Sorry about that folks she does that from time to time. Come on, boss, it's time for your nap." This girl - whose enthusiasm about paper still left Vivian dumbfounded - was the manager? And she was being pushed along the floor with a broom like trash some inconsiderate shopper had left on the floor? Vivian had more to learn about the worlds outside of home than she initially thought. "Sooo....did anyone expect to see this when we decided on a lovely little trip to the store?" "I certainly didn't," Vivian laughed along. It was a wild enough encounter that Vivian wanted to come back to this store sometime. As Vivian picked up the cheapest-looking pack of pens she could find, she was posed with a question that... honestly, it seemed fairly obvious. In fact, she was surprised she never thought about it herself! "Isn't your planet made of trees? You'd think there'd be more paper there." "Oh right, yeah. Your planet sounds like it'd be the perfect staging ground for paper production. Though, I suppose does your planet have a thing against clearing out the forests?" "It does, yes." Vivian was going to be buying these things anyway, so surely there would be no harm in using them a bit early, right? She opened up one of her notebooks and pulled a pen out from the pack, drawing some sort of little diagram on the back of the cover, as she started explaining the paper situation back home. "Historically, it's proven that deforestation and stuff can have pretty big consequences on a planet's climate. Since the climate on Colia is already less than ideal, everyone agreed it was best to clear out as little as possible. That's also why Colian cities are built vertically; so that we can cause less deforestation. The rainforests are also great for tourism, so chopping them down could also hurt the economy." A little thing here, and... done! Vivian turned her notebook around and closed her pen, tapping the bottom of it against a diagram she'd drawn on the inside of the cover. "We don't get seasons in the summer and winter sense. We have a dry season, a wet season, a stormy season, then another wet season. Nobody's sure what would happen if we started chopping down trees left and right, and nobody wants to find out, so we just leave it be. The weather there also means paper tends to not last very long because it gets all wet and soggy, so even if we made factories to produce the stuff, we probably wouldn't get much use out of it ourselves." And that was why Vivian had never actually used paper before today.
  16. Feel like I should clarify the returning monsters was probably a one-time thing, since it was in-theme with the "Year of Rebirth" label Blake had applied to 2019 events and ultimately how we started getting this event put together (for more details, see my monster review thread). I just got out of bed so maybe I'm being stupid and you mean as a new monster in 2020, but I felt like I should probably clear that little detail up when I saw people talk about it here and in the reviews thread.
  17. "THIS EXAM IS OVER! A student has been critically injured." "Eh!?" "ALL STUDENTS ARE TOO EVACUATE THE BUILDING! I REPEAT! ALL STUDENTS ARE TO EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY!" "Ehhhhhhhh!?" Evacuation!? Just what had happened to one of the students that was this serious? Hibiki wasn't even sure if she wanted to know or not. Whatever it was, she had to get out of here, apparently! A door opened up and the simulation shut down, giving the students their exit out of their exam room. A door which Hibiki turned to and wasted no time starting toward. It was a selfish thought, but maybe this evacuation would get everyone else in the room to forget about how she'd magnificently failed her attempt at flight in here. "Hey! Hibiki! We need to evacuate!" "I know!" the bat girl replied, making for the door as fast as her legs would take her. It was tough to make out individual sounds over everything, especially with these red lights freaking her out. After this, she wanted a nice bath, and maybe something tasty. Like oranges! Once she was out of her own room, Hibiki couldn't help but wonder just who was injured. Surely, whoever it was, the other students in their room would help them get out of here. Yeah. That meant Hibiki had to worry about getting herself out like the teachers said. That scream though. The one she heard as the doors opened back up. She couldn't just leave this alone! Hibiki took a deep breath, turned, and made for the door it had come from. And she wasn't alone, either. "You heard it, too?" Hibiki asked the relatively-towering girl who was becoming a more and more familiar sight. Rei & Suzume "ALL STUDENTS ARE TOO EVACUATE THE BUILDING! I REPEAT! ALL STUDENTS ARE TO EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY!" "Tch." Suzume got back up to her feet as the simulated train around them disappeared. "We're settling this score someday! That goes for both of you!" Suzume wasted no time getting out of dodge, using her rotation to drop to her side and propel herself forward in a similar manner to how she'd attacked Herc earlier. Once she'd hurried through the door, Suzume made a sharp turn, in the direction of the room the scream had come from. "Both?" Rei looked the 1-B boys over. Based on their bickering in the fight earlier, the gravity boy and Suzume definitely didn't get along. And then there was the beetle... "Did you do something to upset her? Not that I mind. A loose cannon like her could do with a lesson in humility." Starting at a more deliberate, less rushed pace than Suzume had bolted off at, Rei gestured to the boys, and said "Come along, then. We were told to evacuate, right? Let's get out of here."

  19. PSA kids: Proofread your threads before posting them. There were a few errors in this thread, but if you're reading this post now, they should be fixed.
  20. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand cut! That's 2019's Masquerade wrapped up. In my reviews thread for last year, I said the following, and I quote: "I'd say I hope we can do better next year, but honestly, I'd be concerned if we couldn't." And with that in mind, I'm quite pleased this year! This wasn't the wildest (that'd be 2016) or most successful (2017) Masquerade, but people seemed to enjoy it! And that's all I really cared about this year, for multiple reasons I'll get into when I review the event itself at the end of this thread. For right now, let's dip right into those monsters! For the sake of being thorough, I'll be reviewing everyone, but let's start with 2019's newcomers. Ainz Ooal Gown: My one and only gripe with Ainz was his activity level, being quite on the lower end for monsters that were active this year. He was a good choice of monster, he was portrayed excellently, and while his game was a bit last-second, it wasn't all that bad. If he'd been consistently active throughout the entire event, he'd easily be in the upper echelons of monsters for this year, but alas, that wasn't the case. 7/10. Box Ghost: Felt kinda... subdued? Was quite active near the start of the event, but wasted no time falling off and only occasionally asking for duels or posting box-themed songs in my music thread. A pity, tbh. While he was kinda one-note, this was a pretty entertaining monster to watch. 5/10. Dullahan: Aight, brutal honesty time. I'm rather disappointed, because I did have some hope for this monster. After being excited to see a new forum member interested in the Masquerade and hoping it could even give them some RP street cred, I was met with a monster who was so inactive that I actually forgot they existed while reading the monster list they were in. I can only hope this isn't indicative of your potential performance in future Masquerades. 0/10. Kurumi Ebisuzawa: My own monster, and the one I put the most prep work into out of any monster I've played so far... only to have no idea how to Kurumi once the event started, even though I went to the trouble of reading the entire Gakkou Gurashi manga (would recommend!) right before the event. Despite choking like that, I like to think I did a pretty decent job. I'd be upset that this wasn't some magnum opus monster of mine, but I didn't want that to be the case this year. I'll give myself a 7/10 and be happy with it. Larry the Cucumber: Oh, boy! In the first half of the event, Uncle Death was my favorite monster, with Larry threatening to take the spot as the event went on. By the end of things, he did indeed take that place, becoming my favorite monster of 2019. This was a monster that was executed on incredibly well, and you went above and beyond what I expected of you. Quite an accomplishment! The real icing on the cake here was factoring in all manner of things from the show that I actually forgot about entirely, despite having watched quite a bit of VeggieTales as a wee Christian lad. (I'm agnostic these days.) 10/10! Post-Crisis Carlos: You shouldn't sell yourself short on your performance. Every year, we get a monster that I'm initially skeptical about, but I realize I was gravely mistaken and they're actually great. Last year it was M. Bersback, in 2016 it was Pepsiman, and this time around, it was you. The combination of shitty puns and existential depression were a real treat, and my only real regret with Carlos is I won't see him again. 8/10. Segata Sanshiro: You've probably heard this one before, but it felt a lot like you were trying to fill the shoes Pepsiman left behind in 2016. This is not an easy task, so don't take it personally when I tell you this was a pursuit you failed in. It felt to me like you funneled too hard on the one thing and neglected everything else. 5/10. Sou Hiyori: If there's one thing I hate, it's squandered potential, and Sou basically bleeds the stuff. I was in the know on this monster's eventual gimmick and looked quite forward to it, but much like Ember did last year, you succumbed to the ghost bug before you had a chance to see it through. Quite disappointing, since you were doing rather well before that point. Although I can pardon this for I know you were moving and there were some complications, my score will not. 3/10. Spooky: Speaking of ghosts, let's talk about actual ghosts. As a concept, Spooky was pretty neat. But... it didn't really feel like it was Spooky. It felt like it was just the same member doing the same shit, but wearing Spooky as a mask. This isn't squandered potential like with Sou, but that doesn't make it any less disappointing. 4/10. Uncle Death: Now this was a cool dude! From the moment you locked this monster in, I was super excited about seeing him in action, and the wait paid off even more than I expected! This also had the most unique forum game I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few of them. I'd have absolutely no complaints if Tower of Barbs 2 (3?) became a more permanent fixture in the Games section. The one and only thing I didn't like is you started to become a bit more withdrawn as the event went on, but it looks like you noticed near the end. 10/10. Yami Bakura: Moderately disappointing. You did a pretty good job portraying the character, but your activity was lackluster, which was a hindrance to your game that I honestly liked Ainz's more. Better luck next year. 4/10. And with them all sorted away, let's talk about our returning monsters for the year! I was expecting the veteran monsters to be the real stars of this event, but it may be for the better that I was mistaken. Bram Stoker: You were technically active, but might as well have not been. Quite a shame, since I remember Bram being one of the better monsters during his year. 1/10. Ivan Ooze: The Ooze... is... back! Quite pleased that Ivan's portrayal was still the winning performance I saw in 2017, but you dropped the ball very hard at the end there. Very, very hard. Had you simply not posted further content as Ivan, you'd likely have scored higher than you're going to. The talk about "my host and his FGO" and such was so... not good. Quite upsetting after you were starting off so strong. 2/10. Pepsi Man: The Halloween hero of 2017 makes a comeback! Albeit, with far less activity than in his award-winning debut. Despite the lower activity and the two years since playing Pepsiman, he's still 100% the man I remember regretting ever having doubts about. The fact that you can ghost the event and still score as high as you are speaks strongly of how well you performed when you did. 9/10. Last and not least, the host monsters. All three - yes, three - of them. Starting with the one that you probably forgot about. DANGANRONPA: This was something I said not to do. And you did it anyway. And then posted a single status once and that was literally it. After the great job this monster did in their debut, and with all other factors considered, this is an even worse case of squandered potential than Sou was. And I already said how I feel about that. -2/10. Hades: I'm rather disappointed in you. Had I known you'd be as inactive as you were, I'd have ditched the Mettaton NEO pitch, went with Baron Samedi like I initially planned, and done all the host monster work myself. Especially after Hades was one of the more well-received monsters in his year. I'd say it makes me sad, but I'm not sad. Just very disappointed. 1/10. Mettaton NEO: A weird case. Frankly, there was no way I'd be able to juggle myself, Mettaton, and Kurumi, so I shoved all the host work from Mettaton onto my main account so I wouldn't have to. Quite inactive, but still the flamboyantly fabulous ghost in the machine I played last year. Meh. 6/10 at best. And with all the monsters talked about, let's talk about the event itself. As with last year, I'm going to start this off with a story about the development of the Halloween Masquerade, which will double as a behind-the-scenes look at how this shit went down. In early September I DM'd Blake on Discord with a stupid pun because it fit with the Year of Rebirth that was announced as the theme for this year's events earlier in 2019. The conversation that ensued from that ended with me learning that nobody had actually thought of what to do for the event, but we both liked the idea of returning monsters. With Blake prepping for a big important move, I was put in charge of creating this year's Halloween Masquerade with about a month and a half to do it. I later added the undeath theme for new monsters after being given the Event Planner role a couple days later, to which I said: "This is just an idea I've only loosely toyed with the notion of here and there, but an alternative approach that keeps the monster hunt intact while still keeping in the "Year of Revival" theme and also being appropriately Halloween-y, would be to theme the monsters around undeath. This has the added benefit of allowing some rather good monsters (Hades, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Shiki, to name a few) to reprise their role if they really want to, and is a lot more open-ended than last year's entertainment theme. There are far more vampires, liches, gods of death/undeath, etc, than there are actors or singers. I'd like to think of something else to put into the Masquerade this year, but it may just as easily be the case that it'd be best to keep things simple for this year's event." At some point, I later changed the event rules so that instead of being forced like last year's entertainer theme, the undeath/recurring monster themes were simply encouraged, after getting some input from CowCow. In doing so, I learned that last year's forced theme was a much bigger part in Halloween 2018's failure than I thought, as this year's monsters were having a great time. As the event drew closer, I got the okay from Torm to allow point rewards and Blake's advice to keep them modest, and the final details for Halloween 2019 were set in stone, eventually followed by my posting the event thread as Mettaton to officially get things started. And frankly, I feel like the work paid off! My only goal for this year was to have a fun Masquerade that was better than last year's flop, and in that regard, the event was very much a success! The monsters had fun, and the people had fun, and although the event wasn't perfect, I was able to learn things from its shortcomings. Overall, an event that accomplished everything I was hoping it would accomplish. I'm quite relieved, since this was the first Masquerade I was in charge of, as well as the first one on the new website, so I wanted this to succeed more than anything else. Enough so that I even threw my usual RP hobbies to the side to keep an eye on this event. Final Score: 7/10. Good job, everybody!
  21. Nope, it was me. I'm flattered that Kurumi was your favorite monster, by the way!
  22. Hai hai, Kurumi de~su! ...I'm never doing that again. Anyway yeah, I was Kurumi, likely to the surprise of absolutely nobody who has had any meaningful interaction with me ever. Honestly, playing her was pretty tough since there's a lot of shit that goes on in the Gakkou Gurashi manga and I wasn't sure what to take from early parts and later parts. I'd totally suggest reading it though! It's good stuff! My favorite monster was Uncle Death at first, but Larry has since taken that spot. More on this a bit later when I post my annual monster reviews thread.
  23. Posting this on my main because fuck formatting statuses. The Halloween Masquerade is now OVER! For wrap-up and unmasking, please visit the below thread.

  24. See ya later, Uncle Death. May your scores be high and your ping low.
