  1. Middle School music teacher played this for us, good times. Nostalgic, 7/10 I'd say 7.... nah, 7.5/10
  2. Team Karaoke, Under the Moon Darkraii sent a look of annoyance Shaymin's way and shook his head derisively. But he let the other one answer. He was too focused on the annoying little child who thought to scold him. "You are a fool. You cannot speak for her. She served me willingly for years, I didn't force anything on her. And yet you say that you changed her mind so quickly? No, she was desperate, she wanted to protect you even knowing it would doom everyone." He let out a sigh. "This is why people need us to guide them." His face went from sorrow to anger again in a moment and he took a step towards Nine. "You are wrong, brother. Oh so very wrong." As the gentle voice spoke they would see a beam of moonlight shine down towards the ground. And out from it stepped a shining woman. Darkrai recoiled as she approached and glared at her. "You! You did this. You...twisted her, somehow. Damn you Cresselia, you're always undermining me every chance you get." "No, brother." The woman said with a smile as gentle as her voice. "I gave her a choice, just as you did. It was her experiences that led her to the path she took. She weighed the good and the bad and found that she couldn't live with your decision." "It's not my decision! It's the only way! We can't fight them, not how we are, you felt it didn't you?" Cresselia stepped closer and he took an equal step away. "No, not anymore. You have been so wrapped up in your mission you've not noticed. We are gathering together at last. Not just us." She looked towards the group and smiled fondly at them. "Others like them are fighting as we speak. You don't have to do this on your own anymore. The time has come for us to take back our world. Not with tactics such as this, which splits us apart, but by joining together." She looked to Shaymin. "I know you have been here a long, long, time, but are you ready to protect our world once again?" Once she answered she turned to Darkrai. "And you?" The man didn't answer at first, staring at the ground, before waving a dismissive hand. "It's not like I have a choice." Then, finally, she swept her gaze between Nine and Lok. "You have done great things. We," She gave Darkrai a stern look which he responded to by keeping a blank expression, "thank you for that. I hope you are able to do one more task. I will bring you back to the town. Soon you will be called soon and it is up to you to answer." She floated over towards Gwen and looked down at her sadly. Placing a hand on her chest she spoke. "She can be still saved. Though I fear she won't be able to fight alongside you again. I'm sure we all, even my brother, can agree she deserves a rest." After everyone had their say they were wrapped in a soft glow and the area around them vanished. Before they left they heard Darkrai's voice "I'm not done with you three. If the world doesn't end then I'll find you and we'll settle this." Followed by Cresselia's tinkling laughter.
  3. Kelsey couldn't help but laugh. Such a small animal was causing such a big fuss. "Oh come on, someone's gotta be able to get a hold of the little guy right?" She noticed that Stella had gone down and moved to help her up. But paused as she realized that moments later the dog was standing on the desk in front of her. The two stared at each other. Wordlessly. Sizing each other up. For Kelsey it felt like the two were in a tunnel. Facing off in a great void. One of them would have to move. And she decided it would be her. The girl lunged forward to try and grab the dog but the dog moved quicker. He jumped up and landed on her shoulders and, using her as a springboard of sorts he launched himself at the next unfortunate victim of his furry rampage. Kelsey, having been suddenly pushed by the surprisingly strong animal, flailed a bit before falling over her desk and crashing into one of the students in the row in front of her. "Ow. Okay. That dog is going DOWN." Kelsey declared, struggling to get off of whoever was under her. Off on the other side of the room the teacher's voice called out "Sorry! Oh dear I'm very sorry! I'll...get him...under control somehow."
  4. Ehh, voice sounds really weird to me, 5/10
  5. “Alright then!” Terry cackled. “I draw!” She announced, staring at her hand. While realistically, she could attack over Hana’s monsters, she had no idea what Hana had on the back-row, and that could be… Bad, if she wasn’t appropriately cautious. “...I activate Dark-World-Dealings. We both draw one card, and then discard one card.” She explained, playing a spell-card, printed with a black skeletal knight; emerging from the card, the skeletal knight loomed over both duelists, awaiting the sacrificial card as Terry drew. “For my discarded card, I discard Terraforming.” She nodded, handing the card to the skeletal figure. “Aha! But as you draw, I interrupt even my own plans; activating Generaider Boss Stage’s effect!” Terry announced, inserting a ‘kyahahaha’ at the end of her explanation. “Generaider Boss Stage starts us off, allowing me to special summon a Generaider in defense position from my deck as you draw! And I choose…” She trailed off, smiling. “Hela, Generaider Boss of Doom!” She cackled, selecting a card from a pop-up menu only for her deck to spit it out onto the field. Beside the black-armored knight, a massive woman with pale skin, cloaked in dark purple robes appeared in a bolt of lightning. Holding a black staff, she beckoned an array of bones and limbs up from the ground as a shield, staring the field down. In the same moment, Hoarr began to move, beginning to point his staff towards Hana’s field, before stopping. As Terry laughed, a pop-up window would appear in front of her, though, she wouldn’t notice as it times itself out, and Hoarr resumes his original stance. “So, any response?” Terry grinned, moving a hand to cover one of her eyes. “And what card do you discard, Hana?” When Terry asked Hana she was mouthing something to herself, counting off something with her fingers, trying to keep up with all that Terry had just done. She gave a start as Terry asked her the question though and looked at her hand. “Uhh. Uhhhh.” She glanced between the two cards. Then with a shrug she grabbed one of them, Creeping Doom Manta, and sent it to the graveyard. “Buh bye for now, fishie!” She declared. “Good then!” Announced Terry, nodding. “Now, I’ll swap Hoarr into attack position,” she shifted the card’s direction, before pointing towards Terry’s field. “And enter the battle-phase, declaring an attack towards... “ She paused, squinting at the monsters on Hana’s side of the field. It was really unbecoming of a Final Boss to have to pause and read card descriptions… She would have to get better at reading them beforehand, and memorizing them. “...I’ll attack… Terrorking Salmon!” She resolved, nodding. While Mambo would result in more damage now, she should deal with the more imminent threat first, right? Right. “Any response?” She asked, as Hoarr, the black-clad knight, stepped forwards - staff spewing mist as he lifted it from the ground…”No? Good!” Terry grinned, as Hoarr one-again stabbed his spear into the ground; black mist bursting up towards Terrorking Salmon from the earth below, as the fish began to gasp for air-- Water? Gasp for… Something, that’s for sure, and Hana lost 400 life-points. “And… I end my turn.” Terry finished, proudly. “Oh no, I’ve been got!” Hana said, letting out a giggle. When Hana drew her next card and looked at it she let out a long. “Oooh, oh oh I know I know this part.” She excitedly set down one of the cards in her hands, Wind-Up Shark. The cartoonish robot shark appeared out of the water and seemed to grin at Terry. “Aaaand then I can uh...this! Another one! Special Summon!” A second shark appeared behind the other one. “Now check this out, I learned about this a few days ago, it’s uh, uh Exy, Exy...XYZ Summon!” She then proceeded to clumsily overlay the three, currently level 3, Monsters. “Say hi to Shark Caesar!” The Monster summoned out, thanks to her field card, had 2000 Attack. Much less than Terry’s and it seemed that Hana realized that. Her face screwed up a moment before she snapped her fingers. “I can remove one of the...thingies, and put a shark counter on my Monster! What do they do? Well, you’ll see when it attacks!” Hana looked between the two Monsters on Terry’s side, back and forth, back and forth, before settling on a target. “That one, Defense mode girl!” She had almost attacked the other but, realizing at the last second she’d have a totally open field, decided to save her fish for now. As the shark rushed in at Hel its attack got a 1000 point boost. “Ah, dam-Darn it…” Terry murmured, frowning. “If only I had played…” She trailed off, rifling through her not-so-expansive hand of one card, frowning as she seemed to tune Hana out. “...I’ll have to make sure to be more careful next time…” Hana wiggled happily in place as her Monster destroyed the target. Even though she had no cards in her hands she felt pretty good about herself at the moment. She then noticed the trap on her side and tilted her head. Taking a peek at it she said “Oooh right. Oh! Yeah, that’s the end of my turn!” “Right! Right… Draw!” Terry announced, trying to regain her composure! She had to be more careful, ready for anything. “I play Generaider Boss Loot!” She announced, a treasure chest springing to life just behind Hoarr, as she took a deep breath. “Any time you destroy a Generaider by battle, you’ll draw a card.” She explained, nodding. “Then, um… Based on what you said, I can’t really attack safely...” She swallowed nervously, scanning her field and her single-carded hand. “Ummm…” She paused, peeking at her traps. “This isn’t… This isn’t great…” She murmured, biting at her thumb. “...Um…” She trailed off, once again, frowning. “I… Uh… Change Hoarr to defense position, and… End my turn.” She almost seemed to deflate, sighing. “Not much you can do with one card, and that’s okay. Don’t panic, Terry.” She murmured to herself, squinting at her card… “See? See? Aren’t fish great?” Hana said as she drew her card. A Spell! Not one she could use right now though. But it was neat! Plus it felt nice to hold onto a card while playing. Otherwise her hands wouldn’t know WHAT to do. “I remove another fish from Caesar and now he has TWO shark counters. That’s double! And now, go, attack!” Shark Caesar rushed towards Terry’s Defense position monster and grew to twice its original size, it’s Attack increasing to 4000, and tore into the Generaider. The boss was destroyed without any problems, disappearing into mist as the shark tore through the metal-armor like it was paper. The treasure chest behind the monster, in response, popped open; a card being practically shoved into Hana’s hand. “O-Oh, yeah! Um… I’ll use that draw, to activate Boss Stage, to summon Dovelgus! Generaider Boss of Iron!” Terry announced, nodding. “Come forth, lord of Dwarves!” She bellowed, as a mechanical golem powered by blue energy rose from the ground; holding a massive, blue and silver axe in front of it, as if to block attacks. “Um… And, of course, from Boss stage tokens swarm the field to defend Dovelgus from effects, etcetera etcetera.” She repeated, nodding, the fae-like constructs swarming around the golem. “Back to you.” Terry sighed, giving an almost polite bow. Hana looked at the card that had come out of her deck with some amusement. “Gee, thanks!” She said. This one she could play! “I’ll put this Trap face-down and end my turn. Look, my field is getting so big now!”
  6. Reinaan and Pyrrha would have to wait a few more minutes as the woman presumably searched through the store to find what she was looking for. When she returned she was gingerly holding what looked to be a silver ring with a blue run carved into it. She held it out to the pair, for either to take. "It's...well, I'm not fully sure. My hus..husband wasn't very good at keeping notes but I think it does something with the cold? Erm, I'd like you to take it. Sorry it's not much..." Upon saying that she tried to give them a smile, which looked forced at best, and followed it up "You're very kind people. It must be hard traveling with someone like the Chosen, but keep it up! I'm sure you'll do great." Unless they had anything else to say to her the woman would, taking a deep breath as if bracing herself, go back into the shop to continue sorting things. The bartender just shrugged in response to Lindow. "Its only been a couple days. Less you care about the local gossip, who cheated who and all, not much I got for you. And don't worry about any debt, that guy might look scruffy but he already paid everything off and more." With that the two set off for the jail. Which was a low, but long, building that was located closer to the center of the city. A bored looking guard was leaning up against the wall near the door and didn't say anything as they walked inside. As expected from the height of the building the ceiling was low inside as well. Not quite enough that Lindow would have to duck but were he to jump he'd easily hit it. The room they entered was small, square, and very grey. Bars, with a metal door, separated the room from a long hallway with cells on either side. Off to the side, sitting with his boots up on a wooden desk, was a man wearing a sash that had some sort of badge pinned to it. He was chewing on a pipe when the two came in and pulled it out of his mouth when the two came in. "Mm? Don't recognize you, y'all lost or something?"
  7. It sounds good but, as dumb as this is going to seem, given it's music, that's all. Don't really get much else from it. 7.5/10
  8. I haven't done the DLC stuff, haven't done Black Eagles, and only partway through Blue Lions. Also I didn't really recruit the church people for first runs. So those from the Wolves will be based on design, while the rest from what I know of them.
  9. Crazy Train is a pretty good song...this kinda felt like a not great singer trying to live up to it, 6/10
  10. Damn it! Gunther cursed to himself as the stranger ran past him and, predictably, ignored his shout to stop. "Heads up!" He shouted towards the others, hoping at least to make them aware of the man. As he started to get to his feet the Knight punched the ground in frustration. He hadn't even been able to stop a single man. What use was he if even a simple task, a task he had been trained in, was too much for him. Getting to his feet he saw the man didn't seem to be taking action against his comrades. He also saw the statue taking to the air. It looked to be...shattering? He couldn't tell if that was a good or bad thing. But it seemed that they were managing to at least damage the thing. How they managed it was beyond him though. He started to move when he remembered something else. Ciela. Where had she gone? Looking out the door he saw her body laying outside on the ground and his heart sank. Did that man... He should help the others. But he knew he'd be worse than useless and he had to make sure...That his failure hadn't resulted in the death of one of their companions. Once there he could tell she was still breathing. He knelt down to move her to a more stable position, letting out a sigh of relief as he realized she was only knocked out. Picking his lance back up he made it back to his position and, tense as he was, made his way for the rest of the group. Hopefully he'd figure out what to do on the way. Well now this was getting rather silly wasn't it? Penelope watched the beast move about from her perch on the altar and pursed her lips. What a vexing creature this was. It was as if it was designed just to protect the symbol. Thus far the creature hasn't done any overly lasting damage, providing Adelaide's injury wasn't severe, yet it had withstood so many attacks. Even their somewhat coordinated assault hadn't helped. Perhaps it wasn't just the symbol that was the issue? The magic that was keeping the stone together seemed to be somewhat familiar. "Perhaps there's an alternate power source, and the mark isn't the only way?" She pondered out loud. She jumped a bit as the beast took into the air. Which proved to be a bad idea as, given the numbness, she was already unsteady. Still she tried to fire off another magical attack at the statue, hoping to give it at least the slightest bit of pause. It was then she noticed some other magic forming around the statue. What was that? She didn't know any in their group who "Eeep!" she hadn't realized how close she was to the edge and, as more of her body felt numbed, she started to fall off from her position. As it turned out Acantha also didn't know what to do. Which left Cora at a loss. Especially as the evil thing went into the air. How could she combat it if it was capable of such movements? The bandits she had fought off never had flying mounts and even if they had she usually would have a lance and her mount to help fend them off. But now? With just her blade? She got to her feet and heard a shout from behind her. Turning she noticed a man in rather unusual dress rushing past her. What was that? She didn't recognize them, so they weren't a villager, then what? She let out a gasp as she noticed the man start to chant and wondered if she should try and stop him and tackle him to the ground. Before she could decide he launched an attack. It looked to be aimed at the statue. But then again maybe it was meant for that girl on the wyvern? "Eeep!" Hearing the noise Cora looked back over towards the altar. Where the girl who had proclaimed to be a princess was falling without a way to catch herself. Without thinking about it Cora was running towards her and, with a slide, caught the girl before she hit the ground. This was becoming a trend, wasn't it? "Oh, why thank you. That was embarrassing." The girl said. With a disarmingly calm tone. "Now, could you please set me back up there so I may continue the fight?" Cora stared for a moment. Was she serious? It seemed that Penelope could only somewhat move her limbs and she was asking to get right to it again? No, that didn't seem right. "Sorry, er, lady Penelope, but I think it's best you take cover." Upon saying that Cora, crouching, moved between the statue and the alter. Despite Penelope's instance. If Cora couldn't fight that thing then at least she could make sure it didn't crush anyone else.
  11. Sergei would be treated to a solid cracking noise as his fist struck across the rat's skull. It didn't so much as let out a hiss as it collapsed onto the ground. Yet, listening, he could hear the creature making a low hissing noise. As it still remained alive, and conscious, if dazed. The other rat seemed to be having a better time. Lana's heavy swing was without much aim and the creature, as unintelligent may it be, was able to react fast enough to scurry away from the swing. Having hit nothing Lana ended up overextending and needing a moment to right herself. Which was when the rat came in once again. Jumping at the girl to bite down on whatever part of her she could and drag her downward. Chris's swing came right as the rat reached him. The, somewhat desperate, swing managed to bite into the rat's neck. It sank past the fur and flesh and partially cut into the creature's bone. With its teeth scrapping against Chris's boot it twitched a few times before letting out its dying breath and slumping over. As he reacted to this Chris would hear more shuffling noises. Coming from the other side of the tunnel. Somewhere around the area that the path had split before.
