  1. Hana was busy trying to figure out if she could fit three pieces of pizza in her mouth at once, stacked on top of each other in a horrible sandwich of crust and cheese, but she was still absently listening to what everyone had to say. Which was, it sounded, some serious card business that she didn't really get. Strategies and negative stuff and blah blah. She felt a bit bothered that none of them mentioned that they had fun. Wasn't that the important thing? There was one saving grace in it which was one of the girls saying "I also rushed a bit near the end because the pizza looked so delicious." To which Hana gave a thumbs up and a muffled "Priorities!" What really seemed off to her was the weird one that had been so energetic before. It was like they deflated. Like a balloon with a hole in it. Balloons were weird. They were always at parties but why would you waste money and space on balloons when you could have more cake instead? ... Right, Terry, that's the name. She seemed to be down about something. And so, swallowing the rest of the tripizza down, Hana bounded over to the girl and put an arm around her shoulder. At least attempted to. "Hey. Hey. Here's some advice from big sis Hana. Whatever you do, do it with all your energy! There's no time to be all down. Heat rises and uh...food is made with heat so heat is a good thing right? Well I guess ice cream is cold but actually I prefer hot stuff cause cold stuff if you eat too much it hurts and food isn't supposed to hurt." She blinked, scrunched up her face, and tried to bring her brain back around to the topic. "Uhhh don't worry, be happy!" Hana concluded with a sagely nod.
  2. The guard flinched as the statue came crashing down. She had felt a wave of dread as she saw Acantha, in her tiny beaver form, run up towards the girl who was in the way of being crushed. Yet she couldn't bring herself to move. Fear was washing over her. Not just from the beast in front of her but also the one that had burst in from behind. While the wyvern seemed to be under control she couldn't be too certain. This combined with the talking animal who was saying something about a symbol of sorts on the statue caused the girl to not know what she should do. Though as the statue fell, landing nearly right in front of her, she realized she had to try something. The girl made sure her grip on her sword was tight and she moved forward. What had the...frog, said? Back of the head...Cora moved quickly. Hoping to reach the statue before it moved again and swung with all her might towards where she assumed the supposed symbol was. She didn't really aim, or check if there was a symbol, feeling far too hurried for such things. She had to do SOMEthing, and do it fast. That didn't go so well. As it turned out the gems were not a source of the statue's power. Which meant that she probably owed the town a couple of emeralds now. Then again after this she was sure that she could convince them to overlook any damages. Especially given the life-threatening situation involving the princesses. Yes, even that door, which busted down with quite a fanfare. She was relieved to see the wyvern in all honestly. That, combined with Alois's quick thinking, meant that they would soon have an ally in the air to deal with this mess. If what Shiro said was true, which made sense given the mayor's reaction to the statue, someone, likely the one to curse the village, had caused the statue to become animate through dark magic. It was impressive to be sure and Penelope felt somewhat distressed to realize she didn't know much about this magic at all. "Everyone, new target, destroy the symbol, keep the statue's head low if possible. Citron if it gets out of reach we'll have to rely on you!" They could do this. Penelope readied her wind magic and moved towards the pedestal where the statue had been. Hoping to get up and gain a higher vantage point to hopefully aim an attack at the symbol Shiro mentioned. Gunther was forced to move to the side as Peaches came barrelling past him. He wasn't exactly swift so he almost didn't make it. The wyvern sailing within inches of him. Still, he wasn't worried about the reptilian beast. After all he had spoken to them before and knew that, despite it all, they were a gentle creature. One who probably would be more of a threat to the statue, which was a danger to its rider, than to the others. Though he wasn't exactly thrilled that Peaches had busted the door down in the process. With a start he turned back to it and stepped closer. "Ciela, are you alright?" he called out, concerned given that the girl had been near the door when it was opened. Then he noticed someone standing outside. He couldn't fully tell who they were but he felt himself tense up. Was this it? Did the mastermind finally reveal themselves, while everyone was busy with the stone creature? He held his lance up and called out towards the figure. "You there, hold, where did you come from and what do you plan to do?"

  5. Unfortunately we can't do anything about YCM stuff since we're separate sites. That being said @Flame Dragon is a moderator there so perhaps you can message him. However I will warn you last I saw the old cards on YCM aren't saved atm, supposedly the admin is working on recovering them but I can't speak as to progress.

  8. "Of course I won, I've been training here for days, you had no chance." Dinah said, grinning ear to ear. "I guess you did alright to beat two of them though. But you're a thousand years too early to win a fight with me three on two." The girl glanced to the side and frowned. "Maybe two on two you would've won." She seemed a bit bothered by this thought then shook her head. "Well, whatever, next time we battle make sure to have more Pokemon okay?" She knelt down next to her Tepig, who was looking up at her proudly, and patted the Pokemon on the head before spraying it with some Potion. "I'm almost out of items, guess I'll have to head back to town soon. But first, you had a couple of friends with right? Do you think they'd want to have a battle? One on one?" Once the other two made it back to where Jacklyn was they'd get the challenge. Dinah, with her Tepig by her feet, would point at them and ask, somewhat aggressively "So one of you want to have a battle with my Tepig? He's small but strong, I bet none of you have a Pokemon that can match him!"
  9. These are pretty terrible even not just on a music level. Is this popular or something? 2/10
  10. The platform that Nine and Shaymin landed on slowly started to rise and tilt upside down. Even though they didn't fall from it once it did so the pair still felt as though they were standing on a ceiling. While before when one of them were upside down they felt upright Nine and Shaymin at the moment had a distinct feeling of wrongness where they lay. Giratina tilted her head up and them and smiled wide. They could see into her mouth and the more they looked the more they felt as though they were being sucked in. There was a blackness that felt like a void of some kind that went on forever. Then she licked her lips and the feeling vanished. She leapt to another of the platforms and it started to raise up alongside the one the two of them were on. "You were so confident. But you see now how weak you are? My power is that of those who created the world. What are you to that?" They leapt from the platform they were on and landed with feet on either side of Shaymin's waist. The platform split in half. The one with Nine on it starting to drift away. Giratina took a few steps down and leaned in towards Shaymin. Back bending almost completely so that her face was in front of Shaymin's. With a guttural snarl she opened her mouth and let out a bout of draconic breath at close range. In an instant a few of the spears along Giratina's back shot out as if on their own and struck the platform Nine was on. With a grunt Giratina flung the platform, the side with Nine on it facing away, heading for a collision course for where Lok now stood. --- Gwen twitched. "I...they're going to die." She whispered. "Perhaps but you knew that would be the case when you came here. Don't fool yourself now, child. It will all be for the best in the end. If you enter now it will all go to ruins." Gwen nodded reluctantly. But there was something, as though a second voice was in the background, telling her that it was wrong.
  11. Rona looked at the road ahead without really seeing it. She had said she wanted to go ahead to scout but she couldn't focus enough to really take note of anything beyond the obvious that she couldn't see anyone out in the open. Cormag was flying low to the ground so she couldn't speak for as far as she normally would see, due to the wyverns concerns his rider might fall off, which proved to be a good thing as Leon came up from behind to ask for what she's found. Her lack of composure hit her hard at that moment and she quickly looked to the road ahead. Trying to focus as much as she could so she would have something to report. She noticed what seemed to be horse tracks. Leading off of their path. If she was correct it seemed that the animal was heading away from where they were going. She hesitated. Leon might think it was that girl's horse. And they might have to track it down. Which would cause another delay. But he had asked her and so she had to report. If she didn't, and he noticed, he would think her incapable. "No enemies spotted, commander." Rona said at last. She looked back at the young man and flushed upon seeing his face. She felt ashamed that she had even considered hiding information from him. "B-but, there looks to be some tracks leading off into the hills there. I don't think it's anything dangerous yet..." She didn't have anything to add to that as her voice trailed off. Then she spoke once again, a bit faster than before. "Sorry for acting without orders, commander." Looking at the tracks, Leon muttered, "a horse, probably." Then, as the girl spoke again, he looked back to her and said, "oh, um, it's nothing to apologize for. In fact, I should thank you for being as diligent with scouting as you are. But um," the man paused for a bit before saying, "I guess I should inform you that we'll probably end up helping her out." Rona felt a warmth enter her chest as Leon thanked her. She had done the right thing, it seemed. Though even as he gave the compliment he followed it with the knowledge that he wouldn't heed her advice. She looked somewhat dejected as she responded, part of her wanting to object, "I...Understood. As you say. Then what is it you would have me do?" "Well, for now I told the others to rest up. We can't march forever, and now is probably as good a time as any. So for now, I suppose we should do the same." The boy turned back for a moment as it to head back, though, paused before looking to her saying, "though, if you're not eager to we can still patrol out here for the time being." Rona wasn't sure how to interpret his words. At first she thought he was giving her the command to return with him but the last part threw her off. Why was he asking for what she wanted? Did he think she was being insubordinate? "No, I will follow you back. I shouldn't keep you away from the others for long." Alexis's eyes sparkled as Anne responded. Amazing! Traveling from land to land. Seeing everything there was to see. "You must have so many stories, so many adventurers." Alexis unconsciously stepped closer to Anne and took her by the hand. "Sorry to say I probably won't be buying, though my friends look like they might want a thing or two, but if you don't mind I'd love to hear about some of your experiences." She realized she was getting a bit too overzealous and gave a laugh, rubbing the back of her head. "Apologies, just don't get to see many people like you. Most of the merchants I've met stick to Aeora." Though the Pegasus Knight couldn't shake a slight concern as her eyes landed on the dark tome. From what it sounds like this girl had no qualms about spreading something so dangerous. In fact she seemed to brush off the idea that it might be dangerous in the first place. It wasn't something Alexis could easily understand. "Have you ever seen anyone...use those?" She asked. Her tone somewhat more distant than before as she kept her eyes on the dark tomes. "I-no, never mind." She didn't like it but she also didn't want to put off this girl. They may need supplies after all. She smiled at Anne again. But she couldn't help but be somewhat uneasy as she tore her gaze from the vile tomes.
  12. "are you going to write about me in your notes?" Keres nodded in response. Of course she would. There was no reason not to. It wasn't lost on her that he was likely joking but it only made sense to keep track of things such as this. Reinaan's suggestion of finding another one was also clearly a joke. Yet Keres felt like speaking up in response anyway. "There won't be another. Not near here. Roc are territorial and their territory is quite large. We'd have to go to the other side entirely if we wanted to find one." From there they got onto the subject of the Demon Gate. The lack of finding one as well as, from their newest member, what one even was like. Keres glanced over at Geoff. Remembering his instance that he was the Chosen. She worried he'd be bothered by the conversation but he was off on his own. Having a rather animated discussion with his buffalo as it seemed. Something came to mind as the questions were brought up. Something she had noticed but hadn't really thought about at the time. "The nest...there were marks. Something large was there before and was moved. I think it might have been the Gate. It had to have been moved a long time ago." She said. She licked her lips and took a sip of water, her throat starting to grow sore. Pyrrha's question was a good one, of course. And she could explain it. She had been up close and personal with it after all. But all this speaking was starting to wear on her and she decided to leave it to one of the others to describe. In the meantime she silently started to clean up as people finished.
