  1. Is it just cause I play Fire Emblem but does Saber being strong against Lancer make no sense?
  2. I actually really, really like both. If I had another slot open I might've nominated Necroworld Banshee myself but as is Slacker is one of the top for me so they get the vote.
  3. If we both were in a Holy Grail War what advantages do you think you'd have?
  4. When you play games do you go for optimization above all else?
  5. Huh, can't say I expected something like that. Hmmm, wonder why...
  6. idk if I ever actually got your opinion on...
  7. Wow, you posted this just as I clicked on the section Yes please
  8. I'm curious what you'll give me; have an idea of what it'd be personally but this should be fun
  9. "well, I think I'm about ready to head off to bed now." "Try not to have any nightmares." Morgan said teasingly. On the way out she noted, "you know, I thought you looked rather plain, but your reaction to Gnash was ALMOST cute." With that the girls separated and went to their respective beds. Morgan tossing her clothing to the side as she flopped onto her too-large bed and drifted off to sleep. The fighters began their day, once again, with a message from Mauvache. Good morning fighters! Today starts a brand new week of battles. I hope you all show the audience why you're the best in the business! That being said I am sending this message to inform you that I will be away on some business. If you have something you need to bring up feel free to bring it up with my assistant, Tia (number included). She is capable but young so I hope you treat her well and with the respect you'd give me while I am gone. --- Morgan woke up close to noon. Though woke up wasn't entirely accurate. Her eyes were open and she was moving about but there was a blank look in her eyes and a slowness to her movement as she got showered, in the joint showers, curse the cost of a room shower, and dressed. Even after she had prepared for the morning she had a sleepy look to her and would continuously yawn as she left the apartments to grab some food. She found what looked like a rather simple cafe and ordered a muffin and latte. She slowly started to become more aware as she sipped at her drink. The cafe was small, its booths had tall backs to allow for some measure of privacy, and one wall was covered in books. Real, physical, books, with a sign declaring people could read them at their leisure as long as they didn't take them or damage them. It was a basic place but it felt nice. Morgan decided she'd stay here for a while as she waited for someone to challenge her for the day. Only remembering to check her messages once she had been there for fifteen or so minutes. --- The news stations, which would have broadcasts in various places in the city, including the televisions in the arena, seemed to have only a couple main stories of interest. One was in regards to Officer Kate, the android police officer who had been attacked several days ago. Evidently she had been released with little in lingering damages. Though she didn't remember much about the attack. Except that she had been speared in the chest "As if by a lance that almost unnaturally found its way to her heart." Some had suspicions about this especially after the disappearance of Arena Fighter, Angela, but the police assured them that there was no connection. Though as they couldn't find any more evidence they were calling off the case. The chief was noted to have said "We couldn't find a link to the murders in the bar so it isn't like whoever did this is targeting flesh and blood people." The other, less serious, story was in regards to the TV Station. Which supposedly was airing a series of "Rap Battles" that was open for entrants.
  10. If you could choose a FE class to be what would it be and why?
  11. "Ha, jokes on you, Machop isn't weak to water, go and Karate Chop it, buddy!" The Machop flexed one arm confidently as the Poliwag's Water Gun struck him in the chest. Pushing through the water the small Fighting type swung his other arm down to delivery a powerful chop down onto Bubble's head. Striking it in the perfect spot to inflict a large amount of damage. "See that? That's what real strength is all about! Wahooo!" Kenta cheered, pumping one fist, and his Machop followed suit. "Don't stop there, hit em again!" --- "Now, let's seize on this opportunity! Shut this case down with a tackle! And once you knock him away, send him to the slammer with another Thundershock!" Chad shook his head and shrugged, giving a condescending smirk. "Luck isn't a strategy. Strategy is knowing how to win without needing luck! Growth again!" As Archie ran towards the Bellsprout it once more increased its power. Then waited. The Bellsprout didn't try and get out of the way as Archie's Tackle knocked it into the air. "Now, Vine Whip, right through the Thundershock!" The Bellsprout launched a vine straight forward. When it made contact with the electricity it weakened the jolt that, by the time it traveled through the vine and to the Bellsprout, it would only be a mildly painful tingle. The attack continued on towards Archie as the Bellsprout fell back to the ground. Looking rather beat up but still standing. Its face wasn't the most expressive but there was a determined energy about it. --- The last of the group's fights was going...rather unusually. Fuyumi kept telling her Horsea to launch Smokescreen, while Naomi made sure Knight continuously used Absorb. The smoke surrounding Knight got so thick that he was having trouble even seeing his own trainer. "Whatcha doin tha'fer?" Naomi muttered at Fuyumi, confused why the girl wasn't attacking. "Horsea's water attack won't do much. Not enough to mitigate Absorb. Best strategy is to lower its accuracy as much as I can for....this." Finally Knight managed to land a decisive Absorb attack, and the Horsea went down. Not before leaving Knight with sharply lowered accuracy however. "This cinches my victory, go, Abra." Fuyumi casually tossed out her second Pokemon. The Abra sat on the ground as it appeared and Knight tried to rush towards it. However the smoke caused the Pokemon to veer off to the side instead. "Ah...Knight, right, they're right.....over there." Naomi said, pointing uselessly at the Abra.
  12. "trykk videre!" What...was this? Rona felt strangely energized. As if her previous action never even happened. She felt strange about this clearly unnatural state, and had no idea how it came to be, but she wasn't about to waste this chance that she had been given. The monster to either side of her have been killed. Leaving only one in front of her. She sorely wished to take off and go deeper into the fight. Yet if she did that it left Ada open to be assaulted from multiple sides. She wasn't about to cause someone's death. So she readjusted her grip on her axe and took aim at the zombie before her. She lunged to the side, from atop Cormag, and scored a strong hit into the zombie's chest. As she pulled away the creature, evidently not even flinching from the wound, scored a cut across her arm. Pulling back she warily watched the creature as it moved. Hoping to finish it off soon. But what was that strange chant?
  13. Keres was running out of vegetables. She still had a good supply but it wouldn't last forever. Still what else could she do but continue to pelt the oncoming gnolls. If she let them past they would overwhelm the others in numbers. One of the carrots she slung hit a gnoll in the back of the group directly in the head at such force they stumbled back a bit. Her success was short lived as a few of the gnolls seemed to muscle through the onslaught. Even worse, while one went off to the side, and another started advancing, one brave soul took several vegetables to his body and pushed onward towards the wagon. He gripped the edge of it and pulled himself up despite the rain of vegetables. Keres started backing away, releasing the hold she had on the vegetables. She couldn't continue to fling them as she had before with this gnoll approaching, snarling angrily, grip tightening on his shortspear. --- Reinaan, being approached by two bleeding gnolls, would notice another making its way towards him from the side. Before he had time to react to them the gnoll he had shot in the eye came for him. Snarling wildly and swinging his axe down towards the draken. At the same time the one on the ground forwent its weapons and simply tried to lunge with its teeth and claws at the young hunter. --- The gnolls near Lindow weren't able to get to him without passing by Geoff. And as one of them, towards Lindow's left, tried the Chosen of Buffalo whipped out his weapon and sliced through the beast-man's shoulder. Forcing him back and refocusing him on Geoff. The other went to take advantage of this to stab Geoff but the man had other plans. With a practiced motion Geoff sliced through the shortspear and followed up by shoving the other end of the weapon into the gnoll's throat. The gnoll coughed and gagged, backing up several steps, clutching at its throat as it struggled to catch his breath. "It seems our foes are no match for me!" Geoff called out. "I hope you are watching closely. Not everyday you get to see a Chosen fight!" --- The gnolls surrounding Ryia let out laugh-like whoops as the one behind her penetrated through her defenses. Surrounding her on most sides they felt confident despite the loss of their ally. The one who had stabbed her took his axe out and went for an overhead chop, trying to bury it into the back of her head. As he did the other two gnolls closer to the front of her also came at her with their own axes. The fourth, still wielding a spear, decided to wait and watch. Not able to get in on the action with the way the others were attacking. But he kept his eyes locked on them and stood half-crouching, ready to dive in at the first chance he got.
  14. Rona gritted her teeth. Both she and Cormag had suffered minor injuries from these monsters. It wasn't much, surely not enough to worry, but Cormag seemed to struggle with having so many people around him. He let out a screech at those nearest, and Rona had to keep a restraining hand to keep him from snapping towards them out of frustration. She couldn't blame them. She wanted nothing more than to break from the ranks and continue on towards the apparent leader of this pack. But she couldn't let this swarm get past her and to the others so she knew she just had to bear it. There were monsters on all sides. Two of which that had attacked her and one that was focusing on her ally. As she considered her options she heard a surprising voice shouting nearby. you do not! Hurt! My! Friends! You got that?" Was that...Yue? Rona trembled slightly at the sight of the arrow piercing the hound and slaying it on the spot. She was glad she hadn't given Yue reason to be upset with her if the girl was capable of that.... Glancing to the side she noticed that Raynor was struggling with two opponents near him as well. She started to have Cormag turn move she could more easily attack the axe wielder trying to kill the man but she hesitated. Worried that Cormag's thrashing tail might hit one of her allies as he gets into position. So instead she moved in her saddle and jumped from Cormag's back. Swinging her axe down and cleaving through the zombie before it was able to attack again. The moment she hit the ground she pulled the axe from the corpse and got back onto Cormag's back. The Wyvern letting out a roar of triumph. Feeling somewhat more confident, Rona shouted back towards Yue. "Nice shot by the way!" Alexis scanned the field with a frown. This wasn't good for her. No place to actually position herself that didn't put her at risk. From either the archer, axe wielder, or both. She noticed a gap in their defenses she could enter but, unless she force Leon to protect her, she could be easily blindsided as she did. "You're all pretty reckless ain't ya?" Alexis shouted, laughing as she saw how the entire group rushed into battle. "I'm going around the side to flank them. See if I can cut them off before we get too pinned down. C'mon Tana, let's get us some breathing room." Flashing a smile, she called out to Yue before she left. "Told you, master archer." In a blur Tana shot off and away from the group. Circling around to the other side of the treeline. She didn't get too far out, not wanting to run into a swarm by herself, and settled again near the treeline to plan her next move.
  15. Cora let out a sigh of relief as Tsetseg moved away from her. She hadn't been sure what to do about the strange girl and was glad it was out of her hands now. Which also served to draw her attention more on the Citron girl. She was getting defensive and frustrated and it put Cora on edge. Deciding it best to just not respond, despite still being uncertain about the wyvern, she just nodded and went along with the group's leader as they went to the square. After meeting with everyone, and having a brief spree of introduction, the blonde Knight among them started to explain what they had found. "It sounds, well to be blunt, insane. But it seems that someone came to this town, injured or old, and asked for help. The mayor refused them and best I can tell cursed them...And er...well, the animals apparently are actually the villagers. That is, if I understood correctly. It's not as though they can talk." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, clearly uncomfortable that he was giving this crazy tale based on an animal's gestures. He was right. It sounded insane. Could something like that actually happened? The first part of it she could, as much as it shamed her, believe happening. But a curse that could actually turn the animals into people? Her eyes strayed to the beaver with the group. Could it be... When the beaver took off and Catriona followed Cora decided that it would be in her best interest to tag along. She didn't know why but it just felt right. As it turns out the beaver led them to....Acantha's house. The place that Cora had meant to go searching first. As it turned out Cain wasn't there but instead.... "Wow...I didn't realize Acantha liked things like this." Cora said, startled at the sight of the tied-up naked man in the yard. "Wait...he wasn't here before. I've never seen this man. And why...why is he making that noise?" That was when she felt a sharp slap across her face. The beaver that had led them here had climbed on top of Gunther's large frame, leapt from his shoulder, and used its tail to smack her across the face. She stared blankly at the creature for several moments, touching her throbbing cheek, before something clicked into place. "A-Acantha?" She said to the beaver. "well...if it's fine with you...but be careful! I bet it's not nearly as nice to be eaten by a wyvern as it is a fox!" "I would think neither preferable, but I don't think you have to worry." “Do you mind, um… Expanding on that, orrrr...? Like, what kind of 'almost eaten' are we talking? Giant monsters, or an angry kitten?” "Oh, no, not a monster. But they were quite large. You already met one of those who nearly did it actually." Penelope left it at that until they left and met back up with Licorice. Upon getting back together Penelope gave Citron a meaningful look and nodded in Licorice's direction. Smiling all the way towards the square Penelope wasn't all too surprised by what Gunther had found out. "If it's some sort of curse then the person who did it could still be here..." Her expression turned more serious, and her eyes flicked side to side, contemplating the situation. "Indeed, I think it quite possible, especially if they were hurt or sick, that whoever did this may have set up residence somewhere in the town." She followed after Catriona, almost without thinking, as her thoughts were turned elsewhere. After the beaver attack a thought came to Penelope's head. She glanced over at Licorice then, hesitatingly, asked Cora. "There was a woman we saw earlier. She didn't seem to intend any harm. Nor did they seem injured, but have you seen her around here before?" She then described the woman for the villager. "Hm? No, doesn't ring a bell. She could be a traveler I suppose but...I've never seen her." Penelope frowned and grew silent. She gave Licorice a glance and gestured for her to follow and moved a bit away from the group. "Your friend....she wouldn't have done anything would she?" She was disheartened to see the cagey look about the woman. "She wouldn't if they didn't deserve it" Frowning, Penelope responded "If she did I only hope her definition of deserved doesn't differ from my own." "Ah....fiddlesticks. Not another one." Gunther's response to seeing yet another naked animalistic man in the same day was one of exasperated acceptance. "Suppose that means there's some sort of pattern here. I can only imagine this is someone's pet...er, n-not that I mean people have naked humans as pets. Just...you know, a pet that became a person." He waited a moment, expecting Penelope to interject with some obscure and shocking fact about human pets, but he noticed she was off to the side talking to Licorice about something. He was curious as to what they might be talking about but right now he was more curious about the beaver's responses. Cora had called them a name and the beaver had angrily chittered and shook their fist at the woman. It was becoming increasingly natural for Gunther to see these animals as people. It might help that he often was more comfortable with animals in the first place. He wondered briefly how he'd feel once these villagers turned back into human but shook that thought out of his mind. "Do you perhaps know who this...man, is?" Gunther asked the beaver. To his less surprise than he thought he probably should have given the circumstance the beaver responded. By giving a nod, pointing over at the man, and started to make galloping motions. Gunther sighed, closed his eyes a moment, then looked up at the group. "I think that naked man is this beaver's horse." His shoulders slumped. "I'm starting to wonder if I fell asleep at the castle and have been dreaming since."
  16. Aqua Spirit is cute, and pretty, and is water based and I like that element. Was worried when I saw she was against a vampire girl cause those are usually good. Then saw her and was like "Well, she's not too great". Though atm seems she's ahead.
  17. If Warrior Lady of the Wasteland can't get through I can at least try to root for the different dimension version

  20. "Why are we given braces to call mechs if we need to approve Mech Combat first?" The vice principal looked to Malkin for a response. The woman sighed and waved a hand. "Listen, these days who knows when you'll need it. And it's hell of a lot easier to do this than to go to the planet's core every time we need to do some training. But yeah, if it wasn't obvious, misuse these and you'll lose more than the bracelets." --- Kelsey almost laughed at that. It was just so...dramatic. There's no way that this woman was as intense as she sounded. "even the teachers are something different from home," She glanced down at the text and responded immediately. "I dunno, think it's all a big act. Bet it's gonna be just like normal crap once we actually get into the classroom." Looking around she finally spotted where Stella was and, pushing between people, made her way to the girl. "Yo. Worried about the Phys Ed guy?" Before Stella could answer an older boy spoke up. While he wasn't dressed in the school uniform he certainly couldn't be described as casual. With clothes that looked like it came from some kind of custom and expensive designer. "I certainly am." He said, scoffing at Jax. Raising a hand he stepped forward and the crowd seemed to part for him. "Excuse me, Mr....Benton. But this whole 'getting strong' thing? Yeah, I can't really let my body get too muscular. It's just not my image. I'm sure you can understand." Kelsey scoffed. "Who does fancyboy think he is?" A girl nearby gasped as she said that. "You don't know? That's Weston Easton. Only like THE biggest actor in, like, the universe! I can't believe I was standing so near to him...Oh my god do you think I'm breathing air that he breathed out right now?" The girl started to hyperventilate and then fainted on the spot. Jax gave Weston a glowering look. "I don't care about anyone's IMAGE! The IMAGE you want if you're going to be a TRUE PILOT! Should be one of MANLY MUSCLES! Don't worry about a thing 'Mr Benton' here is going to get you in shape. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!" The student didn't seem to like this response. "I don't think you get it, sir, but my 'shape' is just fine. Isn't that right ladies?" He then turned towards the others and gave a dazzling smile. After which several more girls fainted.
  21. Anyway, I used to like Tour Guide a lot but over time more things I found I've liked more and she sorta fell behind
