  1. Alexis shook her head as the Fighter came her way. It was always tricky to avoid getting attacked by axe wielders when you dealt with bandits. She figured it was just because most bandits were too dumb to do anything but swing a big hunk of metal around. Thankfully she was prepared when he came for her and she had Tana rear back in time to dodge the axe swing. She went to thrust her lance at him...and it almost slipped out of her hand. She fumbled with it a bit before getting a good grip and thrusting at him. But the bandit was able to knock the long weapon to the side with the shaft of the axe. "Tsk, so annoying." She heard Leon's call and shouted towards Raynor "I got that, take care of this goon for me mkay?" She gave Raynor a short wave as she had Tana fly over the carriage. Where she saw a Barbarian attacking Leon and a Mercenary attacking the archer. Who she could only presume was Yue. That being said even without Leon's words she would have helped the girl out. The Mercenary was the easiest target after all. Stowing her Steel Lance away, the last attack having made her remember that accuracy was important, she bared her Iron Lance. She swooped down on the man and, before he even could react, stabbed through his side and killed the man where he stood. "Pretty rude to attack a cute girl like that you know." Alexis said. "You alright there? Stay behind us, alright?" Alexis told Yue. "No worries, Leon, your girlfriend is safe." Leon, who had just gotten an axe to the side, looks baffled and looks back towards Alexis saying, "my what?" "You know. Love of your life. Partner in crime. This pretty little flower over here is your girl right? Or if not she's totally your type ain't she? I'm not ruining your courting am I?" "Wh-" Leon sighed again as he puts a palm to his face, "we're nothing like that. She's a friend and team member." Shaking his head he then said, "I suppose nice to see some things never change." "Same to you. Don't worry, friend, I'm sure you'll get your chance!" Rona was starting to grow more confident. They couldn't so much as touch her! This was amazing! She just had to keep going like this and they'd be finished with this without hassle. The faster she took them down the faster that they'd all be safe. With an almost savage smirk on her face she brought her axe down on the Lancer again. He raised his weapon in a futile attempt to block the attack but the heavy Steel Axe cut though the shaft and into the man's skull. There was still another Fighter nearby but... "Guess you're doing alright after all!" She called to Edda. She didn't want to risk that Fighter harming Edda further, and especially didn't want to leave and let that Barbarian gang up on her. So she pointed her axe at the Fighter. "That the best you got? Cormag and I have seen more bite from a bug!" She taunted the man in the hopes that he wouldn't go after Edda now that she was open. She saw the Barbarian over by Leon and her concern started to leak through. She was leaving Leon open and...wait, who was that? Rona was tempted to launch Cormag forward and intercept that strange Pegasus Knight but...they seemed to be helping? Thoughts of Aleithe, the other superior flier, went through her head and for a moment she wondered if she was going to be showed up as a rider once more. On the other side of the carriage she heard Susanoo's shouting and shuddered. She didn't want that man anywhere near Edda, that's for sure.
  2. I'm not sure I get how he's "loud and arrogant" but doesn't brag unless provoked. It doesn't seem like that goes together very well. Also idk how he expects to take point with a slow mech. Speaking of the mech seems a bit too powerful. A bunch of explosives and super strong armor and can fight at melee? It's kinda a better version of some of the other heavy mechs in this. Maybe take a look at the other mechs and then try and go from there. Other than that it's looking good.
  3. Kris and Merlin both took notice of the strange girl who was having difficulty forming sentences. Before Merlin could interject Kris stepped forward towards her and began to speak in Erica's native language. "I see you are not used to the common tongue. Would this be preferable?" After a response she'd continue. "We each have our own criteria for joining our house but it's different for each of us. I prefer to wait until the day of the test to give my criteria. Otherwise I can't get accurate results." She thought about the second question for a few moments. "Well, tomorrow you'll likely meet all the teachers. But you'll learn here to use mechs, fix mechs, as well as learn fundamentals that everyone should learn." --- "I am curious what makes you tick though, if you wouldn't mind sharing. The robotics tech where I'm from is behind by some three, four... hundred years, and it's kind of a passion of mine." "Oh? Am I ticking? That's unusual everything should be running smoothly. One moment. Scanning." The light on his face turned into a straight line and moved up and down BOMB's face for a few moments. "Nothing is wrong. Perhaps your ears are not working correctly. I could scan you to check your health if you wish." BOMB stepped closer as he said that, raising one hand towards Sammi. --- "So, what brings the two of you to MechA Cademy?" Kelsey waited for Stella to respond first. And the answer made the girl laugh. "Oh please it's not like I look for trouble it just happens to find me. Plus I bet I got you outta trouble plenty of times." She turned her attention to the other girl. "Well for me it's like. You gotta do something right? And this seems like something I can do. And do well. So why not go for it right? Pretty damn cool job don't you think?" Kelsey looked around. "So we gonna stand around in the middle of these dancers or we gonna move?" She then smirked. "Unless one of you wants to dance that is."
  4. Trying another Pokemon Showdown tournament. Bit of a weird one; check it out in Clubs.

  5. Driven Daredevil is a cool name. Sadly not a fan of how it looks though, rip
  6. Alright sounds interesting. Well as long as you can get the character in (and edit as needed once I look over it) pretty soon I can let you in.
  7. Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren "S-Sadly no. I'm guessing it's going to be too much to ask about why you're doing all of this?" Mia sighed heavily. "I have to do it. I've seen too many kids suffer because of how this world works. If we just get rid of them then we can make everything right again." "Blah blah, you think you're some hero or something? I don't care. You messed with my day, worse you messed with Laura's day, I'm not going to just let you do as you please." Elsa said. "We shouldn't fight...Please." The Glaceon seemed to deflate a bit. The group and the Godslayer watched each other as the tension grew. "I'd love it if we didn't have to fight." Mia said. "I'd rather not hurt you." She then turned towards Tornadus. "But I have to do what I have to do." She then crouched down, preparing to go back into her Rollout again. Mac clenched her fists, "We can't let her do this." Mac said. "Right? Kazo? Ari? What are you gonna do? You know I'm gonna have to stop her one way or another." Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Merm Palace "My name's Denku and... I honestly don't know who that person who usually comes here is," Denku admitted. "Mew and Mewtwo sent me here to check on you and Manaphy. They're worried about you two," "Mana...mana...Oh, you're talking about mama? Mama isn't here. The man said mama won't come here so I gotta wait for mama to come. How's Mew doin? She was gonna visit sometime but then I got put here." --- The woman gazed at Easter for several long moments. A multitude of emotions crossing her face. Only ending in a brief coughing fit. "I am glad my daughter found such a kind soul to help guide her." She stated. Then she leaned over and gently shook Dora. "It's time to wake up, your friend is here to speak with you." Dora's head shot up and, breaking the somber moment, called out "Waffles?" She looked around and her eyes settled on the Sylveon. "Hi Easter!" She said. --- “My friend is already in there so we’ll know in a second anyways, but maybe you’d be willing to make our job easier and just tell us?” The king's gaze turned towards the door, which had been burst open, and he frowned deeply. "I'm not sure it's really any of your business but, very well, I am not ashamed." “Wait… pump the breaks. On second thought, go to the Distortion World.” Stepping back the Kingler prepared to retaliate as Brooke stepped closer. He hadn't expected her to go for the wall, however, and she was able to rip a chunk out of the wall. Causing a portion to crumble. The two Corphish pulled him back as the stone tumbled down. The hallway became three-quarters filled with stone, with a corner remaining open. From behind the rock Brooke could hear the man speaking. "Very well. You don't have anywhere to go. You have to leave eventually. You two. Go get some more troops. Bring some of them down here. And send the rest to my wife's quarters. The other one is still up there. If they do anything to Dora..." "Your highness we can't just leave..." "I believe I am strong enough to handle them if they try anything, the princess needs protection, now go." Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau Heatran grimaced as he took the electric attack dead on and he instinctively removed one of his arms from the lava. Immediately the pillar that was chasing Keanu petered out and vanished. Then Randy's attack came and the Legend pitched forward, though didn't fall on his face. The pillar that was chasing Marie changed course and went coming towards Randy directly behind Heatran instead. As it did the man stood to his feet and swung around. He stomped his way towards Randy, sending large shockwaves through the ground, going in to grab the Incineroar. --- "He'll still be up there later and all. Sorry if we got off on the wrong foot or something." Allie smiled wide. "Well fine then. Don't you worry about it." She started walking past and put a hand on Nani's shoulder. "You can make it up to me by coming to see our good buddy Heatran with me." And with that she would head towards the volcano without any intention to stop. Team Showdown, Day 31, Oasis "Neither of em do...I'm basically the mouthpiece of this here Team." "For better or for worse." Isole muttered in response, idly leaning against the wall. "It's easier to just let it happen and react to whatever she gets us into." Landorus rubbed the back of his head as he watched Taiga and Scarlet. "You're so tenacious." He pointed at Scarlet. "Girl. The world has been dying for longer than that. The Legends never left they just haven't been active in everyone's lives. Which made people like them think it's time to change things." He glanced at Taiga and chuckled. "Well would you look at that, I got myself caught in my own words." He shook his head. "Maybe it is time to show you kids what's up after all. You all have gotten so far off track." With a grunt he sat back down. "I don't even get a week off before back do business do I?" He raised a hand towards the two. "Come, sit, there's pie to be had." Team Karaoke, Day 37, Deadlands The Chandelure let out a scream as the pulse hit her. As did the rest of the Gijinka, barring the Drifblim. "Then I guess you can all die! You and your two friends." She moved backwards back towards the shell of plants. "I'll break this open. Be a dear and handle them would you?" She said to the Cofagrigus, who slowly made his way around to the other side of the shell nearest to Lok and Gwen. The Gastly and Shuppet gathered together and started towards the two of them as well. One such Shuppet was hit by Lok's confuse ray and rammed themselves into the ground. Gwen had been silent during all of this. Usually she would be the first to try and talk to them but her face was expressionless as she watched them. When the fight started all she did was let out a soft sigh. She raised her hand towards the fallen Shuppet. A dark eye appeared above the girl as she used her Hex attack on the Shuppet, who stopped moving after a few moments of twitching. Over by Nine the Drifblim, still smiling, closed in on him. A pair of ribbon-like appendages shot out from thier side and wrapped around him, squeezing tightly, as they pulled themselves even closer.

  12. Girl's Afternoon "What you had a specific kind of action in mind?" Morgan said in a huff. "If you wanted something specific you should have said so from the start." Rolling her eyes she headed in to get the tickets for the movie. "And I bet I'm older than you." She said towards Ross with a scowl. "Both of you are so disrespectful. You wouldn't last a day in my home." They entered the theater and Morgan had to admit it was more than she expected. "Even my father's private movie theater didn't have floating seats." She said. "Come on, I want to be in the front." She declared and went towards the front row. Which, they could see, was half filled. Though when Morgan reached the front she smiled up at a trio in the center. "Hello there, I believe there was a mistake, those seats are for me and my..." She glanced at the other two. "Them. Could you be so kind as to let us take them?" One of them gasped and said something in a hushed whisper to the other two, pointing at Morgan, who was glowing with joy at the attention. They then moved down several seats. Morgan sat herself down in the seat and gestured for the other two. "Well? What are you waiting for?" --- The movie itself began with Jax "The Max" being launched out of the 30th floor of a building by an explosion, landing inside of a helicopter, killing the pilot, and crashing the helicopter into another helicopter while he dove into a river. As it turned out the movie was about a former military operative who was being framed for the murder of a mafia boss and the CEO of a toy company. So he was on the run from both the law and the mob. While the true criminal was Jax's mother's half-brother who was also a cyborg and one of the richest men in the world. A man who solved all of his problems with money and scoffed at the idea of fighting man to man. The movie was full of over the top violence and explosions. The ending of the movie involved Jax encountering the main villain, who turned out to also be the president's twin brother, on a spaceship. The end of the fight had them both in spacesuits fighting on the wreckage of the spaceship that had crashed into a nearby moon, which was set to explode in five minutes. The killing blow was dealt when Jax got a hold of one of the villain's credit cards and threw it into the villain's helmet, cracking the visor and exposing him to the ravages of space. The last line of the movie was Jax looking into the camera and declaring "I guess his card was...Maxed Out." --- Morgan had been on the edge of her seat during the entire movie and, when the credits rolled, she let out a cheer. Then, looking at the other two, cleared her throat. "Well, that wasn't bad, I guess."
  13. "I um, hadn't had anything to drink, today, yet so..." "You probably shouldn't drink that water..." Keres responded. She watched as Ryia ran off towards Reinaan. Or more specifically the bee near him. With a bit of luck and some help from his giant lizard companion Reinaan was able to dodge the injured bee's desperate attempt to sting him. Ryia's attack was more than enough to finish off the dying bee before it could try and sting again and it lay on the ground with several gaping wounds. Laying in a pile of insect guts. "And my name is Pyrrha. Not Miss Chosen!" Damien rolled his eyes and ran towards her as the bee seemed not too worried about the injuries she had inflicted and was coming in hot towards her. The young man, taking a page out of Kloqah's book, body checked the elven girl and knocked her away from the bee's assault. "You're gonna be Dead if you're not careful." Damien told her as he leaned back to avoid the sting and letting it pass harmlessly past his face. Damien gripped his sword and swung upwards. Catching the bee next to its sting and cutting through its lower half the creature nearly fell to the ground in two halves. "Well, that was fun." Damien said, returning the blade to its sheath. "What's next, giant beetles? Maybe a killer mantis?" Keres slowly made her way forward, towards the majority of the group. "They must have been drawn to this area for some reason. Perhaps they feed near here." As she said this the more attentive of the group would hear some more rustling a fair distance away as well as buzzing. "More coming." Keres warned.
  14. "Where did I....come from?" Valerie winced. Whatever it was that Silver had done had hurt. Though she could only imagine, from the noise she heard, that Silver had been hurt much more than that. What kind of government organization would have done something to cause that much pain to a living creature? In the middle of her musings Crimson approached the group. She should've expected he wouldn't wait around forever but she still wished she had been given a bit more time. "This 'geezer' is here to relocate this creature. If he can't stay here, we'd gladly take him off the park's hands, and give him a safe home." That's right. If Crimson was being honest then all he wanted to do was keep Silver out of harms way. Which in turn would get rid of the potential danger that Silver could pose to the public, directly or indirectly, and maybe make sure that whatever he had suffered didn't happen to him again. But could she trust him? Silver echoed her own question and she turned towards the creature. "I'd like to think he's telling the truth. But dunno if I feel comfortable handing you off to someone I just met." Valerie thought for a moment before, "Hey you think you can scan him like you did me?" Silver nodded, as Crimson shrugged. It stood there as stoic as possible for a moment, only to start swaying. "His mind is stronger than yours...less open...but from prying I cannot sense ill intent..." "Don't think I like being told that I have a weaker mind than captain bad joke." Valerie muttered. She had to think. Quickly. And decide just as fast. It could be the wrong thing to hand Silver over. She couldn't be sure the group Crimson was in were the good guys. Neither could she say that Silver wasn't dangerous in some way. Even if it wasn't intentional. She'd have to defy her own government to turn Silver over. What kind of hero did that? But Silver seemed so innocent to her. It was mostly a gut feeling and it was fully possible she was being tricked. After all a pro hero had been the one to bring them here and tell them that they had to bring in a dangerous creature. And Crimson hadn't been totally honest when they first met. And she was still a student. This could ruin absolutely everything if it was found out she helped Silver escape. With a group of vigilantes at that. "Ah, hell." Valerie muttered. "Go on then, get him out of here." Valerie told Crimson. "If this is a trick I'll be first in line to kick your ass, though." She could only hope she wasn't making a mistake.
  15. Tried to spare her but she killed her anyway, wow, that's intense.
  16. It was darker than expected under the water. But Chinchou's light managed to spread out enough that they were able to see the almost otherworldly sights that lay beneath the waves. Fish darted away as the divers approached, scared off by their movement and light, and seaweed floated along past them. Occasional patches of coral could be seen attached to the supports that held the pier they had dove from. Several Skrelp attempted to approach the group with aggressive intent but Chinchou's Flash and the other two's Pokemon caused them to flee as well. When they got closer to where the workers had brought up the Skrelp they saw that there was a mass of land, which was what kept the city up, which seemed to have markings all over it. As they got closer they would see that the markings appeared to be some sort of carvings. It was difficult to pick out anything in particular but there seemed to be people in a crouched, bowing, position, as well as some large entity that the people were bowing to. Farther down the group would be able to see something else. It was a carving, similar to the others, but it went deeper. Practically creating a statue carved into the rock itself. A statue that was almost impossible to make out what it could be. Having been smoothed out by the water over time. But because of previous events Oswald and Kanon would be able to see a resemblance to something else. The statue they had seen in the marsh.
  17. Penelope smiled with relief as she reached the other side of the river. She was straining to keep her head above the water and her feet on the ground but so far so good. Her foot slipped near the end and she had to hang onto the rope to keep herself steadied. Even so she finally made it to the other end where she saw... "Well this is a lovely dichotomy isn't it?" Penelope said as she approached. Standing next to Alois she put a hand on the boy's arm. "I think I prefer this side of things, don't you?" She hadn't wanted to leave the others on the other side but she also knew that she wouldn't have been able to do much to help. Her goal was to get everyone on this side and that wouldn't be possible if she had been the one stuck in the back of the group. Now she could only hope that the others would be able to make their way over as well. She approached Shiro and reached out towards him. "Need a hand?" Gunther's face lit up as he saw Alois trying to be friendly towards the beaver. "You won't have to resort to violence, trust me." He responded. "They're a good sort." And it seemed that his belief was proven to be true. The beaver he had treated stood down and ran off. He was glad. It meant that the beaver had accepted them enough to let them pass through. What happened next wasn't what he expected at all. It seemed that the other two beaver had taken a liking to him and crawled up towards him. His smile widened farther as he looked down at them. He reached out for the two and gently stroking the animal's fur. He chuckled softly. "Well, seems I'm not going to be moving anytime soon." He glanced up at Alois. "Do you want to take a seat?"
