  1. Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau "Waaaaiiiiit uuuup!" The two Larvitar girls paused at Marie's shout and looked downward. "Who are you?" One of them asked. "Why should we listen to you?" "We're gonna go fight Heatran and nobody gonna stop us!" The other said, sticking out their tongue. Then they looked to each other, looked back down at the pair following, and grinned. They both reached down with one of their hands each and a small Sandstorm got kicked up around the area between them and the two Alolans. ----- "Arceus...DAMNIT!!! I just want to get to the kids and fight Heatran!!!" "Can't always get what you want old man!" A Hitmontop said as he spun in circles and kicked the Incineroar in the face. "Welcome to Trailsau newbie." Another, a Donphan, said. "Where if you want anything you gotta work for it. Nobody's gonna spoon feed anyone anything here." While these two came at Randy, around them other battles were happening, just a bunch of Gijinka clashing all around them. Team Karaoke, Day 37, Alpha "well, thank you for the food and hospitality ma'am," Gwen's mom gave a titter and waved him off, "Oh it's nothing. You're friends of our Gwendoline so it's only natural." Though Gwen's father narrowed his eyes at Nine. It was as if he was trying to tell him to watch what Nine said to his wife. "so, are things usually this lively around town and the home?" "Asking if a ghost town is lively - classic." Gwen snorted a bit, then covered her face as the noise came out of her. "That was a good one, Lok. And, well, Nine, it's not usually quite like this. We just really like visitors." "A lot." The twins said in unison. "But it's usually pretty lively here." Gwen's mother said with a sigh. "That's true...though it's usually more so. With Kaitlyn around." Gwen added. Her father cleared his throat. "Well that's just the way it is. This town is a good town and we're good to the people who stay here." He eyeballled Nine. "But only if they don't cause trouble." Gwen pouted. "Father no one here is going to..." Suddenly a Gastly boy phased through the wall, seeming in a panic. "Head Priest, Head Priest." He said, moving towards Gwen's father. "The Enforcer...he's got one of the strangers, she was..." He stopped, looking at Nine. "Understood." The Dusknoir said, standing up. "Sorry to cut this off so soon." He said to his wife. "But it seems that there's trouble." He glanced at Nine before getting to his feet and following the Gastly out of the house. Team Showdown, Day 30, Rayquaza's Pad "I don't buy it. Not one bit." Magearna gave the girl a sad look but soon enough she went back to a small, warm, smile. "I see." She said. "Miss...are you really okay with all of this? Having to fight against such dangerous foes...especially when most of your people prefer to stay as far away from it as possible." "The end is coming soon. I just...don't want anyone to force themselves into it. I can't imagine it's going to get any easier until it's over. There's no telling how many will survive." Her smile had faded once more. --- "I'm a protector, for those who can't defend themselves. Whether people find me interesting or not is irrelevant - I will stop the Godslayers." Celebi began to laugh uncontrollably at the response. "Oh, oh man, you're serious too. That's amazing. I suppose your one-track mind is something of a superpower on its own. But what about after that? After this? You gonna keep fighting again and again? You've got a lot lot lot lot lot more time left still...as long as you survive. Especially if you truly do intend to work with Cobalion. Lots and lots of time. Do you want to fight forever?" Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren "Only if you wear one too," Mac literally gagged at Kazo's suggestion. "Ugh, no way, no no way I'd ever wear a dress. Ew." She smirked as she heard Ari emerge. Then she saw what he was wearing and frowned a bit. Reluctantly she admitted. "It doesn't look bad. I was hoping it'd look funny and I'd have something to do while this wedding crap happened. Oh well...come on you two, let's get going." --- The church, as it was, was actually a wide open area. With only vines covered in various flowers to act as walls. It managed to cover the area enough so that it was hard to see what was inside. There weren't many people around, though most of them the group could recognize from seeing them around town, and it seemed the majority were just people from the city itself. In fact from the bits of conversation it seemed that almost no one there were people who actually knew the couple being married. Which left a bit of a sore taste in Mac's mouth. What about their families? Did they not bother to come? As they got seated they could see the "princess" waiting up with a stout, old, Quagsire, who was clearly the one officiating the wedding. Though prince seemed a much more appropriate title. The girl wasn't wearing a dress but instead a completely white, with a light blue tie, suit. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail and she stood with grace and elegance as they waited. And then in came the bride. The Leafeon had a light green wedding dress, with flowers sewn into it at all around each opening, and a trail of even more flowers coming in behind her. The wedding proceeded as normal, with many in the crowd growing emotional despite not really knowing the two, and cheering as the marriage was sealed with a kiss. Without much fanfare the wedding was followed immediately by a reception, tables were brought out, as was food. Though the people trying to set it up hit a single snag. Mac had fallen asleep in her chair and anyone who tried to move her was getting shocked. Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Life is the bubbles under the sea, under the sea "Oh, some child of a legendary. Phione, I think the name was," Gisei's face was unreadable. And yet his body stiffened up ever so slightly as he said this. "That is...quite the goal." He hesitated and then continued. "Neither Phione nor Manaphy has been seen for a long time. Some say they are gone but...I can't imagine this to be true." He glanced away and continued. "There are two prisoners here. One is myself and the other." He nodded and they'd see his gaze was now fixed on the steel door off to the side. "In there. I've not seen them but the king sometimes goes through there. I cannot say who is in there but they are obviously someone important." He looked back at the group. "Why are you searching for the Legend of the Sea," he asked, his tone grave.

Chika is cute but also my least favorite

    2. Flame Dragon

      Flame Dragon

Chika is a great agent of chaos and she really grew on me over the season. Gotta love pretty derpy characters who are actually super clever.

    3. LordCowCow

      LordCowCow

I started to like her a little less when I realized how selfish she was. Still a fun character but I just prefer all the others.

  13. "I doubt The Council will have trouble making it worth your while... but surely someone as modest as yourself won't mind doing it all for the karma, right?" "Well aren't you just the nicest friend around." Damien said. There was a brief moment, when the Council was mentioned, that the young man grimaced, but it faded soon after. "You know, most people would think what you're trying to do is preeetty crappy." He kept the friendly tone but the way he was looking at them made it seem like a lecture. "I'm just a guy. You're the Chosen. The heroes. But you're asking a normal person like me to take on the world saving quest. And you'd even stoop so low as to try and guilt me into it. For shame." He said this last part towards Lindow. Keres shifted. "So you won't?" The young man smiled wider. "Well I wouldn't say that. I might as well tag along for a little bit. Get out of this place. Cause you do have a way of getting out of here that's easier than walking I assume." At Keres's stiff nod he continued. "So I'll stick with you for a bit. How long is up in the air." He stepped to the side and gestured grandiosely inside the hut. "I take it you came here to see him right? Hey old man! I'll be leaving after all! Don't croak till the city gets big enough again to throw a real party for me!" Keres hesitated, and then stepped into the hut.
  14. That's some crazy betrayal from the Lords And Jaffar is a softy
  15. 1. I have no idea how this works so I personally can't help. 2. Don't post the same thread multiple times. 3. There is a specific area for comments and suggestions so I'll move this there.
  16. Hard to say. Most people who actually know me know I have a wide variety so not much surprises them. People who sorta know me basically I've found that everyone is surprised when they find out I like certain things. Oddly it's usually not the same thing. This person is surprised by me liking metal, this one me liking punk, this one me liking country.
  17. In case you missed it. I believe it's safe to mark this as "answered" for now
  18. Check News for Card Game section rule changes!

  19. Hey all. So we have come to a decision about the rules in the "TCG" (Otherwise known as Card Game Discussion) rules. ...Simply put we are removing the rules for now. What this means is the only rules needed to follow for TCG will be The site rules; located here. That being said this is mostly to make it more lax and so that we can increase activity and determine what rules we need. Any uncertainties about what is allowed can be brought to our attention. We will be putting in new rules once we figure out what is necessary. For now operate by the site rules and get to posting! (Also if you see conflicting rules in the section then just feel free to ignore that and follow the site rules until further notice. There's a few things that need to be edited/removed and they will be fairly soon but wanted to get the announcement out quick)
  20. "I am a hero after all." Valerie had to admit she was impressed. The woman had seemed rather lackluster and unfitting but the response she was given fell in line with her own thoughts. Valerie's fist clenched as she considered it. "You gotta fight if you want to succeed." She said. "Getting past obstacles is what it's all about." She nodded firmly, more for herself than the teacher, and flashed the woman a thumbs up. "I like you, teach." Valerie declared. "Now I guess it's time for my own battle!" She waved goodbye to the teacher and started off at a jog. No more delays. She had a signature to get. When she got home she noticed the door was unlocked. Which was commonplace these days. Sighing she closed the door and locked it. Valerie had stopped arguing with her mother long ago about her habit of keeping the door unlocked. The response was always the same "What else do I have to lose?" Hearing the television in the other room the girl decided she would likely find her mother there. As she made her way she noticed the overflowing garbage cans. The garbage was supposed to be put out today. Usually Valerie would have done it but she had forgotten to in her haste to get to her first day of school. Keeping it in mind she continued on into the living room where her mother was laying on the couch, watching some television show, and mouthing along to the words on screen. "You're supposed to go to work in fifteen, mom." Valerie said with hesitation. The woman didn't so much as look at her. "Yeah? I got time." Valerie's hesitated again. That was that. Usually Valerie would just go find food and then head off for a run or some other activity but she couldn't this time. Her eyes went downward. And the woman took note of this. "What is it? You're making it hot in here why don't you move along?" "Permission slip." Valerie muttered without looking up. A silence followed. "What?" Valerie glanced up and saw the woman looking directly at her. Something she hardly ever did these days. "Er, the school. They need your signature for..." "No." She said, then looked back to the television. "I don't care if you waste your time at that place. Trying to be a 'hero' but I'm not putting my name on whatever that is. If you want to play around then you do it yourself." "I'm not!" Valerie shouted. Her mother flinched at the shout. Her eyes clouded over even as she watched the television and Valerie's shoulders slumped. "I'm not wasting my time." Valerie said, softer, with less confidence. "This would let me use...this will let me fight against criminals. It would let me help people." "You'll never help people." Her mother said, venom seeping into her words. "Not with...that. You should give up on it before you tear another family apart." The words struck Valerie like a bullet. She could feel a physical effect. Her hand moved up to her chest, where it felt as though her heart was being constricted, and she noticed her hand trembling. "Please." Valerie managed to gasp out. "I have to...if not for me then for him! Please!" She took a step forward but froze as she saw her mother's stare. At first it was one of anger, at the mere implied mention of her deceased husband, but it quickly turned to one of fear. Valerie followed her gaze down and noticed her hand, and forearm, was engulfed in flame. "Get out." Her mother said, voice trembling with a mixture of hate and terror. "Now." Valerie backed up a few steps. She knocked over a trashcan as she turned and began to run to the door. The slip fell from her other hand as she fumbled for the lock and burst outside. Running down the sidewalk and clutching her fiery arm. Attempting to will the fire to die down.
  21. "How are we getting back though? We just kinda popped up in the desert with that magic. Is Haven far away?" Keres opened her mouth to reply but then. "I believe they gave us a device to aid in our travel back to the tower, right? " Lindow flashed Keres a smirk. "Looks like it's time for you to sort out how it works, little Keres!" One of these days she'd get back at him for calling her little so often. But not today. "I already know how to use it." She said, pulling out the, clearly charged, device. "It's been working...since destroying the Gate." The conversation turned to Damien. "If he wants to...might help." She looked to the side as she considered. "Not a Chosen. Might make things...difficult. But. Might help." She looked over at Ryia. Keres noticed tension between the two. Mostly coming from Ryia. She wondered if leaving him behind might be better for this girl. Yet she didn't say anything. It wasn't her place to speak up on Ryia's behalf. Whatever everyone else thought they had decided to go say their goodbyes to the elder. They reached the man's hut but before they could announce themselves they heard voices inside. One belonging to the elder and the other to Damien. "that the orb is back everything should be back to the way it was. I suppose you don't have a need to stay here any longer." "I'm not sure about that." Damien's voice was a lot less joking than the others were used to. "There's still plenty to do here." The elder chuckled. "You know what I mean. Go with them. You can do much good." There was a silence. Then the elder spoke again. "You're not sure of them are you?" "Just a buncha kids...hold on." Damien appeared in the entrance of the hut. "Well hello there. Is it time for the afterparty?" The smirk on his face seemed so natural and the tone of his voice so light it almost felt like an entirely different person than they had just heard.
