  1. Eric stood there with bated breath, awaiting for the onslaught of questions he was sure to be asked. And to his credit, of course there would be plenty of questions asked at this point. These individuals would be periling a number of dark creatures that was plaguing their world of Grimm, they must've had a good number of questions regarding them. Soon these questions began to pour in, starting with Lucine. "I have a question, Doctor. You said most of Wilhelm. Does that mean there are still survivors?" “Quite perceptive, Lucine. Yes, while what we’ve gathered, while Wilhelm has been ‘Ground Zero’ essentially...the origin from what was gathered is a bit further in. The point of origin of this catastrophe is located in the south eastern area of Wilhelm, within the ruined city of Orus Muz. At the present time, from what we can assume, a number of citizens and denizens of Wilhelm have made a pilgrimage to the other kingdoms for shelter and safety, while a good handful still remain. Alas, it is their bullheadedness that will see that they will survive in that cursed land, I suppose. Because of that, a good portion of the southern kingdom happens to be residing in the now an imposing fortress that is now Grayhold.” Once the wolf Jaeger's question was asked, Sieg began to speak. "I have a question to. Do you think that's there's a lot of them, or that there's only a few, but they're very powerful?" “I’m surprised you would bring that up, my dear slayer. That was something I would mention within the mission briefing, however I suppose I can explain that for the moment. Yes, while the Fahlyn, from what we can tell are a hive mind and formless darkness...they hold more power than you realize. These demons feed off of negative emotions...and when they continue, from what research we’ve come across...the prey they seek after, shall end up going through a metamorphosis and inevitably, become a Fahlyn themselves. Our head of research, Dr. Phila Stone hypothesized this and while we’ve yet to prove it, it’s not unlikely that this wouldn’t be the case. After all, these are creatures of a different world...one where our perception of rules and regulations do not match up to their desires. Furthermore, to answer the second portion of your question, they have powerful variants of themselves. As mentioned, these creatures are formless, but they will take the appearance of whatever they need to in order to get the best results. Nothing...is off limits to them.” "Professor Eric? I was hoping you could answer, well, I know you probably can, I'm not doubting your knowledge. I just mean, umm, well if you would, there you go, if you would answer my question, err, sir. I was wondering, exactly how are we supposed to be taking care of these Fahlyn? Are they just like how we fight humans or Jaeger, or is there, uhh, something more? Unless I missed that in the lecture, sorry. I'm not the best at, y'know, or well maybe you don't, not to say you don't know a lot, but well, you might not be able to read my mind. Anyway, I'm not the best at, uhh, remembering things. So, sorry..." "So then Eric, if I may rephrase, what is your plan? While I'm no expert like you may be it appears these beasts can't very well be clawed or scratched at which unfortunately disables a few of our little club and I doubt they have either names of their own or loved ones that do." Eric adjusted his glasses some before proceeding to answer Lachlan and Robin's questions, as they were similar. “It appears you haven’t been quite acquainted with your own history as Jaegers. According to legend, the first protectors of Grimm, a band of Jaegers, were able to repel and combat the forces of the Fahlyn. We are still working out the specifics on how they were able to combat such an evil, but nevertheless, what I can say is that it may have something to do with the general magical ability you Jaegers...and Pseudo-Jaegers posses. Again, myself and Dr. Stone are currently researching how this can be possible, but it seems you and your bloodline abilities are a key in disrupting the Fahlyn and their actions. As for you specifically, Robin, I guess that means you’ll have to resort to something other than your little naming tricks, now won’t you?” “Is it just the populated areas? Kind of like, uh, Lucine -- Lucine, right? -- like she said, could survivors escape into the woods or wilderness?” “As previously stated, while a good portion of the denizens of Wilhelm have stayed in the southern kingdom in Grayhold, others have fled to look for sanctuary within the neighboring kingdoms. However! It is plausible for survivors to be hiding within the nearby woods and forests...but that may be unlikely. Unless said survivors happen to be Jaegers or even masters of being elusive targets, the Fahlyn will’ve possibly gotten their claws a hold of them. But in a sense, from what we can tell, yes the populated areas seem to be a target.” he replied to Elsie. "What the boy said. What's little old me supposed to do about these scary blurry pictures?" “My dear, we’ve tried that song and dance once before. Please do your best to stay on task, as you should’ve mentioned this when I answered Lachlan and Robin’s quite similar question. But I shall entertain your question, it’s not so much as what can ‘little old you’ do about these blurry pictures...it’s what can you do to prevent something like this from wreaking havoc upon Grimm.” "My, Jekyll... You sure like young people, don't you? Do you really think that you can do something as grand as saving the world with children? I'm a bit of a traveler, you see. I've seen and heard about these 'Fahlyn' before. And I must say, they're not some beast you hunt for fun. Do you all really feel comfortable doing something like that? I'm sure Mr. Dragon Slayer won't have a problem I'm sure, but it is rather dangerous, and it doesn't look like some of us, myself included, are not well equipped to handle those dreadful things." “Now now, whether they are children or not, you have to be honest...youth has its advantages. So I don’t think this, I know this. But at the same time, Lopt, you seem to be underestimating the abilities of your teammates, which I do hope to fix soon. In any case, whether they feel comfortable or not with this, it is better than the alternative.” Eric sighed, adjusting his glasses once more. "I told you before, if you refuse, you will be eliminated. Grimm won't mourn for those it finds to be monsters...but that said, wouldn't it be high time to prove to this world that you aren't? I shall be honest with you, I sought you lot out for your abilities. I believe you have the capabilities to do great good with them and what good to be done than to be rid of these creatures of the damned? Do try to keep this in mind." "I don't got any questions though. S'far as I'm concerned, we just gotta smash these spooky monsters." "In a sense, Wada, you are correct. You surprise me as I originally thought you would've had more questions regarding this whole ordeal. But it's not just "smashing spooky monsters", but rather eradicate them. For as mentioned before, they will feed on negative emotions and will do their best to convert their prey into a part of their fold." With a deep exhale, Eric looked over at the group once more. "Are there any other questions?" Alexandre sat there in silence, listening to each question. They all asked very prominent questions about this situation, but he remained silent for a good long period of time. He wrestled with himself on a question to ask, but the one that kept nagging at him… "...how far have they spread?" Eric looked at Alexandre, nodding slightly. "How far? My dear beast, they've spread quite a ways over Grimm. They are small numbers at the moment, so containing this threat before it gets to a catastrophic level is our plan. You ask in regards to Farway, am I wrong?" "...y-yes…" he nodded slowly. "Fret not about your home kingdom. A good portion of Fahlyn haven't gotten too far within Farway, as about three years ago, a massive snowstorm has plagued the land." Eric began to explain. "According to my teams, it's still going on today. This may hinder the creatures from harming the citizens of Farway...especially your love." Alexandre's eyes began to narrow towards Eric, who simply smiled. A low growl was heard, but he simply stood down and sighed. "...thank you…" Eric nodded slightly, before addressing the group once more. "Now, for the mission I have. We are en route to Setsu, in which you lot are going to be tasked with doing some reconnaissance for A.R.C.H. According to reports, there are sightings of strange monster like creatures that happen to appear at night. We can only assume that this is related to the Fahlyn. You are to go to the kingdom of Setsu and locate a small town within it, it'll be obvious what town as they are constantly rebuilding. Ask about these sightings, any information about it will do. Also fret not about individuals not wanting to assist you because of you being Jaegers or Pseudo-Jaegers..." he paused, glancing over at Sieg. "A good portion of individuals there are Jaeger as well as supports of your species." With that, Eric departed from the room, waving his hand dismissively. "You have a day or two before your mission begins. I suggest you use it wisely...prepare, mingle, train...whatever. Just please do not tear of the interior of the Tower of Babel!" The moment Jekyll left, Alexandre stood up and also walked out the door, sighing greatly. He looked over to the nearby hallway wall and at a painting, shaking his head some. "I...really don't like any of this...what do you think? ...do you have any bright ideas?" he spoke, questioning the painting as if it was going to come and talk back to him. ...I'm doing it again...aren't I? OOC
  2. “Now knock Ambition’s block off! Vigorous Right Fist- Fukuryu!” How many times was Souji going to rewind the footage to see this final turn pan out? It seemed like five times, but he sort of lost count after five and it might've been a lot more than that. Nevertheless, this Duel was something he didn't expect with the outcome. By all accounts, Hikaru should've won given his style and methods of Dueling. But what he saw out there today...Yushiro and his insane luck, coupled with the fact that he had a card that was very rare: Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. And the insane luck...was that a Duel Skill of his? I haven't seen a card like that before...only in old articles of a few Duels, but up close and personal? It's on another level! he thought, finally sighing as he stopped the footage. Souji had gotten what he needed tonight: the costume design from Kyouko and the footage of the Duel for the Club. He had the right to go back to his dorm right now, but he decided to remain. Was it because he was the Entertainment Duelist Club's captain and/or leader and needed to set an example? Could possibly be it, but then again, far as he could tell Kyouko and Melissa were the only ones here tonight. Sai, yeah right, that was a whole different chestnut. And Rose, well he didn't know exactly what she was doing but it was obvious she didn't want to be apart of the festivities. Regardless, Souji found himself yet again at where the mysterious masked bartender was and got another drink, doing his best to rewatch and view the footage of the Duel. He definitely needed to have some sort of topic to discuss in the next club meeting.
  3. Decided to do another nuzlocke...so here's the start of my Platinum run, ya filthy animals!

  4. >Notices the location where my Servant's knife is currently stabbed in. >"The nearby island...actually that just might work. That actually might work a lot more that I thought!" >Removes the knife from the map and looks closely at the island >"We'd be able to set traps and possibly decoys for the other competitors to waltz right into. And with the island possibly having forested areas, we'd possibly have an advantage. Alright, it's settled." >Hands my Servant the knife >"We've found our own place to set up shop then."
  5. According to you and Yui, I'm not finishing Camelot anytime soon until I get Rider Ushi and Caster Medea up a good amount in terms of level...then I'm apparently supposed to work on how to actually build a coherent team to finish...or at least that's what you guys are telling me.
  6. "And good to see you're as irresponsible as u-...In any case, we should go. Now more than ever the three of us should be together." "No doubt about that." Randy watched as Zapdos and Articuno flew off, most likely to not only find Moltres and reunite, but also go to where Rayquaza called them. He watched them fly and get further and further away, until they resembled nothing but normal avian gijinka. He began to sigh greatly, still feeling quite sore from the whole ordeal with the Lucario. Allie was one thing...but this one...this one might've been even on a higher level than the Tyranitar. "...g-give it to me straight, brah...I-I can't even beat you...right now...can I?" "No, you can't." Those words to him, spoken by the Lucario...he could still hear them play over and over. If Randy couldn't beat him like he was right this moment, then he'd have to get stronger...smarter. He closed his eyes and exhaled, recalling the way the Lucario moved...namely what he could see. But that was his problem...he could barely see him. Even with Extreme Speed, it shouldn't have been that difficult to follow him with his eyes. ...Speed training, maybe? Find a way to increase my speed that way I can match him on that wavelength...raw power won't do it. he thought, slowly opening his eyes. Work on my speed...and then if I can get close enough, perhaps overwhelm him with Malicious Moonsault, similar to how it happened against Allie...could work. "Onwards, then?" "Let's!" The Incineroar paused his thoughts, looking at Keanu and Marie before smiling. Sure, now Keanu was a Raichu and currently acting weird towards him...then again that wasn't anything new. Regardless, he gave out a small chuckle and nodded. "...yeah, let's keep going. Maybe we can find some place to get some rest and food...both of which I believe we all need."
  7. >Takes in what my Servant is suggesting, understanding >"You raise a good point. Eliminating a team would be beneficial in the grand scheme of things. By the same token, however, aside from Saber, the one many would have an issue against would be Berserker." >Takes a long look at the map >"...something for bait? I think the best choice of bait, unfortunately, might be the one that could cost us dearly. Either you or myself would have to be bait...between the two, it most likely would have to be me. After all, they kill a Servant, I can just find a way to make another contract if anything. But if they kill the Master, then all bets are off. At the same time, we'd need to find a location where the Masters and Servants haven't set up shop and where we could have somewhat of an advantage."
  8. >"Exactly. And out of the six opponents in general, if memory serves, THAT class is the hardest to go against...even solo. Therefore we need to get a plan working, and one idea happens to be a truce and alliance with another Master and Servant combination." >Currently is practicing magecraft of the wind and water variety, not too obvious to make it known to others. >"Now in the given scenario of this being a war between seven opponents, what would you suggest? Surely some knowledge of multi-man warfare is buzzing around in your head."
  9. "Anyone else finding it odd we don't gotta weave through traffic? Turbo is a busy city... right?" As Jet caught up to the others, he heard Zirco over the radio via the helmet. And what he said, did indeed get him thinking as well. All the times he attempted to escape and tried to leave KaibaCorp Turbo, it was always busy...so why was it not bumper to bumper traffic or why didn't they have to weave through it? I-It...it just d-doesn't add up... However, things began to add up...but not really. Sirens were heard behind them and from what Jet saw, it was a total of three of Turbo Security's finest. What was going on?! "You are breaking the curfew, and thus in violation of Rule 390-53. Head home now, or come downtown with us!" C-Curfew?! R-R-Rule 390-53...? W-What the hell is that...? Jet thought, trying to figure out what was going on. To his knowledge, there wasn't any sort of curfew or Rule 390-53, so was that something brand new? He quietly began to curse Blues and Mr. E for not giving them any updated information regarding such an enforced law or rule. ...d-damnit...what do we do? "Tora, help me out, will ya? Tora and I will Duel these guys and keep 'em busy. You two find Kyouji or the cultists!" Jet was curious if he heard that right, but apparently Zirco was enabling a plan that literally was getting him and Tora to Duel Security and let him and Shannon head off to find either signs of the cultists or Kyouji. This was a hell of a plan to Jet, especially since it was obvious that Zirco had seemed to do this once or twice before, just given his reaction to all of this. "U-Understood Z-Zirco...w-w-we'll keep going...maybe s-s-see if we can g-get in touch with G-Gil..." Jet nodded, going harder on the accelerator, leaving this to Tora and Zirco. He figured this would be better, since these two might be better suited for this, after all, he wasn't 100% his Dragunity monsters would be a match for Security. At the same time, he attempted to make a call to Gil, really hoping he'd answer. ...j-just pick up...please. A-Also...if one of our targets wants to come out...p-p-please do...
  10. "Greetings, Alexandre Roi of Farway, you may call me Prince Tricky Oberon, son of William Oberonson, son of The Urking Oberon, and King of Frogs. It's a delight." Alexandre was puzzled by this strange young man who called himself Prince Tricky Oberon, someone who he hadn't heard of prior. Then again, a good portion of this lot was completely foreign to him. Then again, another prince among the group, that there shocked him quite a bit. He only nodded respectfully, before moving to sit back down...until he smelt something in the air. It was a distinguished scent...it smelt like his kind, a Jaeger...but then again, like human. Almost similar to the same scent he was introduced to by Jekyll. ...so there's another like him? he thought, looking around the room to see what would possibly qualify for that. At this time, the cloaked figure began to stand up and leave. "Eric, if you aren't ready yet, then I'm going to get some breakfast. We both know among my many faults, one of my biggest is an inability to properly listen on an empty stomach. Does anyone else want breakfast? I'll bring some food back with me if so, if you want something specific though, it might be better if you get it yourself. I'm no cook." "Ah my dear Dragon Slayer." Eric said, now standing upright from putting a few things together. He adjusted his glasses smugly and snapped his fingers. "Whether it's true this time, or whether this was your excuse to escape my debriefing, I took the liberty in being prepared. One must be prepared for any and every scenario, am I wrong?" At this moment, a few A.R.C.H. employees entered the room, wheeling serving carts filled to the brim with an assortment of food that would tickle the palette of any and everyone. "With that in mind, Dragon Slayer, kindly return to your seat." Once the food was made available, the group of misfits would be able to grab a bite to eat at their heart's content. At the same time, a few rustlings of paper would be heard from Eric before the sounds of him clearing his throat. "Good morning. As you may have noticed, today's daily briefing is quite different. Today is the day where you will be meeting your new teammates. Take note of how everyone looks and acts, because starting today...you are going to be working together for better or worse." He paused, before pointing to Alexandre, who was currently chowing down on a turkey leg. "Our newest recruit, Alexandre Roi, is the final member we have. And yes, to answer the one question you have: that is correct. Alexandre here is the heir to the throne of Farway. Unfortunately, unlike his predecessors before him, the fact that he's a Jaeger is much more obvious than theirs." he paused, pointing at his own head, referring to the horns. ...of course he would bring that up... "Nevertheless, he's currently in exile due to his life being at risk." Eric continued, seeing Alexandre at this point slinking down where he sat. "Now, with that out of the way, allow me to give you a full notion of why you've been put together: the Fahlyn." He had the lights dim for a moment, a projector firing up as an image appeared behind him, though the image was blurry and somewhat distorted...but what could be seen was something that was generally dark and formless...something that might've even struck fear into the group. "This is the first image my organization has received of these creatures. Formless, spirit-esque...these creatures are the true monsters of this world, a plague that has descended upon us once more. This was taken about a year or two ago, roughly near the location of Wilhelm. And unfortunately, Wilhelm, from what my scouting parties have said...is almost no more." Eric paused, before turning the lights back on. "Not many know about these creatures roaming around Grimm again, alas, as communications with other kingdoms is quite rough. Not many wish to advance into the age of science and some wish not to delve into the supernatural of the arcane. That is why A.R.C.H. exists. We are the ones to keep the peace on Grimm...we've been formed to remove the cancer that is the Fahlyn." A pause came from him, as he exhaled. "Now, I have an assignment for you lot, but before I present it...please, I know you have quite a number of questions for me. Ask and I will answer them to the best of my abilities." OOC
  11. >"Good point. Regardless, with this we can practice magecraft as well as gather a game plan together on how we should proceed." >Once the elevator ride ends, enters the room, locks the door and makes a quick sweep around it to make sure no one is listening in. After all, being a bit cautious in the annual Murder Death Kill Games is essential.
  12. Now this is awesome! >Gets up and gets a room ready for myself and my Servant >"Quite the poker player you happen to be. Lady luck must really be shining on you today." I joke. >How much winnings did my Servant end up receiving in this encounter?
  13. "If we meet him again, I'll help too. Can't leave you bruddahs to struggle through by yourselves. You'd never make it," This made Randy quite shocked, to say the least. Out of all the ones on this team, save Marie, Keanu was always the hesitant one of the group. Sure, Marie had her "No Fighting" thing going on for a good portion of the time, but after the Moltres incident and then the Mowloo incident, it almost seemed like she began to slack off on that. But Keanu...he was always the one that wanted to stay out of the fight as long as possible, unless he himself was in the crossfire. But hearing him say this, it made the Incineroar smile. Truth be told, he felt like his own fighting personality had begun to rub off on the others, but he couldn't tell if that was a good thing or bad thing. "If you wanna get stronger this thing can help." "Yeah, this will definitely make me stronger. Thank you very much." And straight from one surprise to another, Zapdos gave Keanu a Thunderstone in which he evolved almost as quickly as he grasped it. Now looking at a bit tanner Keanu, who stood as an Alolan Raichu, Randy only gave a hearty chuckle, shaking his head. "Won't lie Keanu, I honestly thought you wouldn't have done that...but, hey, the new look suits ya." he said, moving slightly again towards the others, whilst Marie began to see if Articuno was alright. Her bedside manner is still going strong, from the looks of it...
  14. >Sits down at the poker table >"...well then...that is an idea." >Takes poker hand >"Let's see where things take us then, shall we?"
  15. >"Well, from the looks of it, you must be enjoying the new age after being summoned." >Continues further into Midas Palace >"All in all, not a bad place for us to start. After all, we'll probably need a good amount of cash to be prepared. We get some of that, use it to get supplies."
  16. >"Fancy myself something of the sort..." >Makes way towards Midas Palace >"You have something in mind, I assume?"
  17. Logically speaking, the explosion was pretty big and if anyone was within close proximity to said explosion, there's no way they would've survived anyway. Regardless... >Makes a note of the building my Servant is fixated on >"See something of interest, I assume?" - says to Servant
  18. So both my brother and I, after getting through the initial shock and dislike of the Galar Starters, have resolved finally going with Sobble and Scorbunny respectively. Namely atm, it's because their hidden abilities are pretty good compared to Grookey (least imo).

    1. Flame Dragon

      Flame Dragon

Sobble easily has the worse of the 3 HAs. Critical Hits just aren't reliable enough to come up during the small window the Pokemon is being used in competitive play. Even in game it is pretty marginal. Grassy Surge is super strong though. Gives you extra damage on your Grass moves and makes Earthquake Pokemon less able to do their thing while also giving you passive healing. The opponent getting the healing is something I suppose, but you'll be doing enough increased damage to make up for it.

  19. Damnit! Okay well that didn't go over so well...okay then. >[Tries to make a mental location where to set up base before getting the hell out of dodge] >[Head in the direction of Vegas]
  20. ...huh...not what I was expecting really. HOWEVER! I have a different idea, so this was merely scoping! SCOPING I TELL YOU! >Search area
  21. *cracks knuckles* Alright let's do this then! >Going to explore the Harbor District [Red Area]
  22. You know I'd be joining in. As for Servant class, I'm leaning more towards Rider, however I will also be happy with anything. So that I'll leave to your discretion.
  23. "Already done flirting? That your type or something?" "Eavesdropping, I see." Chase rolled his eyes, walking into his dorm room and closing the door behind him. Even though Sid had his headphones in and spoke in an above normal volume tone, it was plain to see that this guy was definitely eavesdropping in on the conversation. He made his way to his side of the room, tossing a few things on his bed before sitting down on it. "Firstly: as I told Aya already, was only being friendly. Couldn't handle a relationship if my life depended on it." he said, holding up one finger, then proceeding to hold up a second. "Secondly: she's a neighbor to us so I figured I just strike up conversation. I apologize if that seems a little foreign to most people around here...you especially... And thirdly: for your information, I don't have a type." That last part might've actually counted against him, but he figured it might actually not this time. Regardless, he moved and grabbed his notebook and began to work on another design for a mecha, just to keep himself busy...plus possibly avoid Sid talking to him more, but he figured that last part was going to happen regardless.
  24. Alexandre found his way, after asking a few of the members of A.R.C.H. for directions, to the conference room. Even though he'd been there too many times in his solo debriefings, this floating fortress was so large that he'd always find a way to get turned around. Then again, he was always getting distracted by things...namely inanimate objects...which that was a whole different problem in itself. A sad problem I happen to have...talking to inanimate objects... I wonder, did anyone else in my lineage happen to have the same problem? Alexandre thought, walking into the conference room and sitting down when he could. While quite a few individuals began to file into the conference room, his mind brought back to his remembrance the day not too long ago...when Jekyll entered his life. One week prior - Outskirts of a town within the Kingdom of Setsu ...it couldn't be true...but unfortunately, it was. According to hearsay and rumors that a good portion of travelers gave within the town, Alexandre heard two things: the first, that a terrible winter had plagued Farway and it had apparently been going on for three years. And the second...the Fahlyn had returned. Fahlyn were something that Alexandre knew only in stories that Maurice would tell, namely of his ancestor. Bottom line that he remembered, was these were an ancient evil, formless and destructive, that once roamed Grimm and that were banished by warriors...one of which being his ancestor. The fact that it had been so many years until now and these things returned from being awoken or something...it quite literally frightened Alexandre...not for him of course...but because of Isabella and her safety. A choice was made. He'd return to Farway, no matter what Vincent threatened. Be him the ruler of the kingdom or not...he would save the one he loved. Unfortunately... This moment presently he was surrounded. By the smell, they were humans...and unlike the ones in Farway, these humans had "torches" that didn't fade with the strong winds. Alexandre waited there in the middle of this circle, until someone stepped forward. The smell he got off of him was...a human...but also a Jaeger? This man came forward, adjusting his glasses. "Alexandre Roi..." "...how do you know my name?" "I know a great many things about you, my dear Beast." the man spoke so casually. "How you were supposed to be a hidden Jaeger within Farway, thusly keeping the lineage of the Rose of Farway family...the Roi in power. Unfortunately, unlike your ancestors and your family in general...those horns of yours give you away all too easy. And of course, even with you and your caretaker...Maurice, trying to hide them, all it took was little party to expose you." Alexandre began to glare at the man, slowly brandishing his claws. "...I don't know who you are, or how you know anything about me. However, I would ask that you back away right now, if you value your life." "Oh my dear Beast, you think you could kill me?" the man asked, giving a slight smirk. "Believe me when I say: a great deal of those types of threats have come my way...within a daily basis at this point. You aren't the first to try and call for my life on your claws...and I will say this...you won't be the last." With not much of another word, he snapped his fingers and what Alexandre felt next was a series of darts being shot at him, causing him to drop to his knees. "Had to make sure these doses were a bit stronger than the last batch. After all, we wouldn't need you to go berserk and release the beast so to speak...ahahaha." "W-What...do you..." "Want? Well, what I want is cooperation. You help me with these issues around Grimm...the Fahlyn. My team at A.R.C.H. is currently preparing to fight these things, but it wouldn't hurt to add another individual to help. After all: it's either you help, or you die." the man adjusted his glasses one last time, watching Alexandre lose consciousness. Alexandre finally snapped back to the current time, seeing a good portion of Jaegers now just saying hello and introducing themselves to one another. A wolf woman by the name of Lucine, a strange malnourished young man floating above a chair, a tall man in a cloak, a woman with a crow, a quite cat-like woman, a young man with some charm to him from the looks of it, a rabbit man that introduced himself as Lopt, and then of course, a young man by the name of Wada. This was a motley crew for sure, but then again, this whole operation seemed to be something similar so he supposed that was the case. Alexandre, at this point, finally stood up from where he was sitting and began to speak. Alright Alexandre...just be respectful, just like Maurice taught. "Good morning. I apologize for not introducing myself earlier, for I was stuck in thought." Alexandre began, taking a slight bow. "I am Alexandre Roi of Farway...a pleasure to meet you all." "Oh good, the new recruit is playing nice. Isn't that precious." a voice entered the room as Eric Jekyll made his way to the front of the room. "Such a delightful sight. Oh, but please, don't stop on my account. I'm still in the process of getting things ready. Please, continue as you were."
  25. When Souta arrived outside of the mall, he watched the teamwork that was displayed between "Lancer" and Rider. It was quite the display, one that he was actually glad to get to see with his own eyes. Heroic Spirits...they were truly a marvel at their sheer strength and prowess. Watching Berserker fall after Rider's quick strike, put his soul at ease for the moment. "Rider. We need to get moving." Souta moved quickly towards Rider, being cautious to stay away from the knocked out Berserker. "Berserker's Master, Drake,..."Lancer's" Master said something was different about him. We need to make a hasty retreat." "We can not leave the man behind to fight such a foe then," Rider said as he sheathed his sword. "I mean, I'm pretty sure I can get my Master out of that pinch," Caster piped up. "If you say so. I suppose with Berserker gone, that master if far less dangerous now," Rider looked to Souta. "Where to now?" "A good question..." Souta put his hand to his chin before glancing at "Lancer" for a moment. "...I have a thought. "Lancer", if and when your Master returns from keeping Drake at bay, would it be possible that you can find me and Rider? At this point, whereas you and Rider may have initiated battle, end result is that we've been put together against Berserker. So perhaps a truce?" "I will see what my master has to say, but I do believe a truce would...," Caster trailed off as the moon was blocked off by a huge figure... The form of Berserker stood over the three, a gaping hole in his chest. The giant roared in rage and grabbed both servants, tossing them up into the air. "Shit...already back up?" Souta exclaimed, backing up quite a bit. "Shouldn't be possible...RIDER!" This was bad...VERY bad. Souta was in a predicament he had really thought of before, but was one of the scenarios he wished never was the case. Out of all the Servants to be before him right now, giving his own Servant trouble, pretty much the STRONGEST one out of the seven cardinal classes. It appeared that even between a "Lancer" and a Rider class, Berserker was still strong enough. Furthermore, he wasn't sure where the other Master was. D-Damnit...this isn't looking good at all. he thought, his hands clenching tightly into fists. ...how the hell are we supposed to take care of this?
