  1. I still have your thread from YCM bookmarked with all the other avis you made for me...buuuuuuuut...
  2. Could go the obvious route of saying, as a Shonen Protagonist, that I favor the Saber Class. However, while that class is pretty awesome...and really full of sabers...I'll say my favorite happens to be the Rider Class. Now yes, I may be biased because Iskandar and Saint Martha are both Riders and they happen to be a couple of my favorite Heroic Spirits, buuuuut I'll take it a step farther. Depending on their rank, they can end up taking full control of ANY single mode of transportation. While this is shown namely from Artoria in F/Z, though Sabers and their whole thing of being "better" aside, this means that they don't have to have just their general mount and/or Noble Phantasm to ride around in the modern age. Planes, cars, motorcycles, boats...Divine-Beasts...yeah, this class can utilize as mounts Divine-Beasts...as well as dragons (specifically if you happen to be Rider Martha). Point is, my go to and favorite class might be Rider.
  3. "It's not that. It's just, Keanu isn't good with ghost stories is all. I wish I'd known that before telling him something that I don't even think is true to begin with." "Y-y-yeah, nothing like what you were thinking!" This had Randy roaring with laughter, especially at seeing Keanu like this. Well, from his point of view, it was obvious he was flustered about it...but, nevertheless, the Incineroar shook his head, waving dismissively at Keanu. "I'm teasin', Keanu. Lighten up a bit, brah." he said, wiping a few tears from his eye. "Eheheh…So uhh...what took ya two so long? Here I was starting to think we'd have eaten all the grinds by the time you came back." "well, Trevor's place is a bit of a walk to get to. Then, we just kind of talked. This town really is something else, don't you think guys?" "Yeah, Trevor met us half way and took Allie the rest of the way...that Flygon is a mystery to me...but it's whatever." he shrugged, his mind still plagued by the Flygon's attitude and demeanor, along with those eyes he looked at him with. He shook his head again, before sighing. "Anyway, but like Marie said, me and her just talked. It's not often me and her just chit chat...ya know, without her yanking on my ear." Randy began to laugh again, playfully jabbing Marie's side. "Still, least this whole thing isn't dealing with me being in prison like in Mowloo..." he said, taking a few more pieces of food and began to munch on them. "But yeah, out of all the locations we've been to so far...it's something more out of the ordinary..."
  4. "If you can't measure up to the school standards, dive off the rocks and don't come back. Otherwise, pull the silver out of your teeth and quit grandstanding. Nobody came here to deal with your crap, least of all the people actually committed to making a difference in the world." "Oh? And what's this now? A difference you say. Oh my, how incredible. Care to tell me what kind of difference you've made so far? I'll be happy to hear what kind of difference you made slumming around in the gutters. Hate to break it to you like this but you should direct that uncouth behavior to someone who isn't in a prime position to make a difference. Like, say, yourself? Talk is cheap, friend, and nothing in this world comes free you know. But I guess it makes you sleep better at night thinking you can actually do something." Now this was a turn of events that Chase was surprised to see. Some guy pretty much told Weston to off himself, well, give or take anyway. Though at the same time, the guy was right to a certain extent. No one, save for possibly a slew of the female students, came to listen or deal with whatever crap that Weston was shilling or giving. So kudos on the guy for telling the actor off...better him than Chase anyway. Regardless, Weston was pretty much whisked away before he could do anymore harm, by his horned girl roommate...which did baffle the young man some. Guess around here, they don't mind that? Still...pretty weird...not used to seeing and hearing that. ...that poor girl, having to deal with him. Chase thought, shrugging his shoulders and moving back to make his way towards the transports. Classes start tomorrow...so naturally I gotta find something to do for the remainder of the day...not that I don't mind the free time...but I was raring to go. he thought, boarding the transport. ...it's alright though, maybe I can actually attempt to gain back some of the sleep I've missed...provided my roommate isn't still there.
  5. Good morning fighters! Today starts a brand new week of battles. I hope you all show the audience why you're the best in the business! That being said I am sending this message to inform you that I will be away on some business. If you have something you need to bring up feel free to bring it up with my assistant, Tea (number included). She is capable but young so I hope you treat her well and with the respect you'd give me while I am gone. This was one of the two messages Gavin received the next morning, with the latter being along the lines of "Oh right, another Fighter left annnnd they were your opponent. So either you sit out or fight a local". Needless to say, Gavin opted for the latter of the two options presented to him. Not like he cared at the moment. Ever since the night prior and him ending up meeting 'Silver', he was agitated and pretty pissed to say the least. Could've been the one moment and opportunity to possibly find out what happened and possibly get in to talk with Colarata...but NOOOOOOOO...this ringleader wants me to just be a "Fighter" and nothing more. Gavin thought, looking himself in the mirror as he attempted to finish getting dressed and ready for the day. Obviously she doesn't know about individuals like me...when we start something, we can't really just sit idly by...but between living and not dying...tch...this sucks. Regardless, Gavin exited his room and made his way out. Though surprisingly, the entire time, he hadn't heard VEX chime in once...at all. That was somewhat unusual for the A.I., but then again, he figured he was just going through some updates and patches like he usually tell him would happen. New world, new patches...would make sense.
  6. "Can you fight? That other Master is up to something, and we need to distract him so he can't put that plan into effect. Can you help or not?" The young man adjusted his blazer slightly and ran his hand through his ivory hair. "I noticed that look on his face as well. I can fight, don't worry about that." he replied, his hand resting on the hilt of his rapier that was at his side. "A truce then to take care of Berserker...I'll agree. What is it you have in mind?" "Simple. We beat up on Drake over there until Berserker is defeated," Akira stated as he began to crack his knuckles and walk towards Drake. "Oh? You're approaching me?" Drake asked. "Instead of running away, you're coming right to me?" "I can't beat the shit out of you without getting closer," Akira replied flatly. Drake sighed in response. "Then come as close as you'd like," Drake answered, holding up his hand and producing a black flame. Souta exhaled slowly, adjusting his gloves slightly as he too began to approach Drake, noticing the black flame in his hand. "Fire Magic? Well this is quite an interesting match." he said, slowly unsheathing his rapier. "Reinforcement..." he muttered, his rapier glowing slightly with magic, now growing sharper and more sturdy. He moved slightly into a stance, preparing and waiting for the moment to strike. Meanwhile, Akira had taken up a traditional Bajiquan stance, staring down his opponent while reaching into his black robe. "On the count of three," Akira said calmly to Souta. "1...." Drake noticed the two getting ready and held up his other hand, producing yet another black flame. "2...," Akira had some time to move slightly ahead of Souta, somehow not making a sound as he did. "3!" With that, Akira whipped his hand out of his robe, throwing two thin blades barely a meter long that resembled resembling a rapier at Drake. Souta moved as well, immediately thrusting the rapier towards Drake's side, thus now having three blades coming into direct contact with him. Drake swung one of his hands, making a wave of black flames that instantly turned the Black Keys into ash, but while he was focused on the projectiles, he wasn't focused on Souta, who had almost landed the hit on him, but Drake did see him in the last second, and used a quick blast of the black flame to push himself away from Souta. He then went to throw a black fireball at Souta, but Akira suddenly appeared in front of Souta and punched the fireball out of existence. "...very much appreciated." Souta nodded, causing Wind Magic to disperse around him to stop the black fire from burning him. "If that's the case, then I suppose it's time for this." he said, holding his rapier up towards his face. With an exhale, he moved slightly and began to now engulf the blade in a fiery red flame. "And now...have at you!" he shouted, proceeding to swing and jab the bladed weapon towards Drake. Drake backed up slowly from Souta's onslaught, the wall behind him slowly catching up to him. Finally, one of Souta's jabs threatened to break through Drake's defenses, but before it could make contact with Drake's body, the mage moved his hand in the way, which the blade hit... and suddenly felt a sudden resistance, not cutting through the skin like one would expect. Akira however took the opportunity to step in front of Souta and hit Drake square in the abdomen with his fist. There was a resounding boom as the attack landed, and Drake slid back. While the force of the attack caused the black flame mage to be forced back, it didn't seem to actually hurt him take much. Akira looked down at his hand and back up to Drake. "Change of plans." Souta was shocked, to say the least, about Drake's sudden resistance. He knew the attack hit, but he expected the cut of skin...however there was none. He glanced at Drake, then back at Akira. "...what's the change in plan?" he asked, moving back slightly, bringing the blade down to his side. "We're running away," Akira stated in a deadpan tone. Souta looked at Akira and only gave a firm nod. "To be quite truthful...in a situation such as this...that plan happens to be the best one." he immediately began to sheath his rapier, backing away a bit more. "Yeah, we're not ready for him. I've fought many things in my time, and I can tell... He's not human." "Not even human? Then what even..." Souta was about to ask, but quickly silenced himself. "...a question for another time. I can most likely buy us time for the escape..." "Not likely," Akira stated. "Get going," He said as he sprang forward and punched Drake in the gut. "Fair enough." Souta only nodded, before turning on his heel and immediately running in the opposite direction. "Rider! "Lancer's" Master and myself are exiting this battle with Berserker's Master. Something...something isn't right with him." he thought to Rider, giving his Servant a heads-up.

  8. Seemed like after his attempt of explaining the best he could about why the Trailsauians were fighting, Marie gave Randy her two thoughts about it. "hmmmmm....well, I don't think that's really it. Maybe...maybe they were born with it but...well...It's almost like they're having fun, you know? I'm not saying I really like it, or that I really condone fighting but. It's like different from being a bully, like Blake or Allie was, or Yveltal. They aren't fighting to kill or steal, and they don't hold any grudges or anything. It's like a game or...maybe it's just something simpler then that. I don't know." "....that's actually a pretty good assumption." Randy nodded slightly. Truth be told, it's something he didn't think about before, but something that was now lingering in his mind. Fighting being akin to something of a game to most people. Was a little bit different in the world of the PPGWF, least in his mind. While it could be construed as a type of game, plenty of the wrestlers he knew were more or less trying to be top dog and get famous. But him? He was doing it out of wanting to make a point and topple the current king because of his dirty trickery...so basically revenge and/or vengeance. At the same time, just like other Incineroars, he loved to have the younger ones cheer for him...to basically make them smile. It was definitely something he hadn't thought of before...either way, Marie continued. "I don't like fighting but if it had to exist, then I wish everyone wasn't so mean about it, and could just have fun or something." This made Randy smile and chortle a bit. "Well Marie, if you happen to be referring to what the Trailsauians were doing in the talk...it's called trash talking...or smack talk. It's really there to attempt to get under the opponent's skin and really upset 'em." he explained. "That way, they could possibly slip up and make a dumb mistake to which you can use to your advantage! ...buuuuut if you happen to be talking about like Blake or Allie...or quite frankly even Yveltal, then I wouldn't hold your breath too long. Conflict and the desire to battle like they have is...something else. But, the way I see it...as long as you don't let it go to your head and you have fun about it in the long run, then you'll be fine." Randy place his hand on Marie's head with a smile, before they continued on...finally returning to the others. ...and the food...thank the Guardians of Alola and the Sun and Moon! Randy made his way quickly over towards Nani and Keanu with Marie in tow and he immediately sat down and began to grab some of the food. "Mahalo you too...really glad you saved us a spot." he said in between bites. At the same time, he too noticed Keanu's expression as well as Nani's...well...expression too. However, he went a different direction. "Oooooh I think I know what it is, Marie. I thiiiiiink Keanu and Nani were having a moment." he snickered.
  9. Well, I'll give two separate answers via the Heroic Spirits and classes. Two different answers, for two separate genders: Male Female Now my strategy in the war would be the same no matter what Heroic Spirit I would have at my side. In truth, I would possibly follow the methods of Velvet and Rider from Zero along with other's who used a similar method, gather intel and formulating plans for each opponent, as well as immediately figuring a way to knock out the Berserker Class first. Basing this on both F/Z and F/SN, F/UBW...the Berserker Class is the one class (aside from Caster) that is the hardest to take care of. That class would require assistance from the other Servants and Masters to take down, so removing the Berserker would be first, followed by Caster. Along with the that, I'd most likely figure out which Masters I could ally myself with in order to put plans into motion, with the fact of "Once the truce is over and/or it's down to us...we'll end it" on the table immediately. Allying myself with another Master and Servant would be good for the long haul, especially if the Servant Classes we have can benefit one another in a combination. I'd only go for the kill of the Heroic Spirits, due to the fact that if the Servants are gone...the Masters simply go to the church and the Overseer to request sanctuary, therefore they would be no threat.
  10. At the present moment? Archer David from the 3rd Singularity. Obvious reasons being this is an interesting take on the very same Israelite that both defeated Goliath and became King of Israel along with having Solomon (which is it's own can of worms), though it boils down to the overall design of Archer David that really gets me. This individual happens to be one of the people in history that I absolutely love reading about, so seeing him as a Heroic Spirit as an Archer is pretty impressive to me.
  11. I love me a good battle theme...show me what ya got!
  12. Still a little down about the given situation of these "Digivices" being held by Touch, Mackenzie, and Kokoro, Chris was busy trying to figure out what he and Quill could do at this point...only to be grabbed and leaping off. "Hey, come with me a second," "W-Whoa! W-What the...Connor?" Chris exclaimed, being carried off by who he assumed was Connor. At this point it would make sense, since this was similar to that suit of armor from that cave...so it would be safe to assume. Regardless, he groaned once being put down on the ground. "...o-o-okay...next time...can we get a bit of a warning next time?" "Alright Chris, so, I'm gonna set this up. And when that monster enters, push this... stone log off and hit him. Get it. got it? Good." Chris looked at Connor and then at the contraption and then back at Connor, before he leaped away. "Well then, that actually seems like it'll be a good idea. Good thinking Chulainn." he nodded, before looking down at Quill, who was huffing a bit as he apparently ran after both Connor and Chris. "Alright Quill. The moment Machinedramon comes in, we're pushing this off here." "...d-do you think that'll work?" "Honestly, I don't know. But I'm willing to give it a try." Chris nodded, preparing for the exact moment to use this little trap. He didn't have to wait long though... "I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL!!" Chris cracked his knuckles slightly and looked at Quill, both of them nodded and they immediately pushed the stone log off, preparing to set the trap into motion. Here goes nothing. Hope this was built to stop this thing long enough, Chulainn...if so, then we might be able to all get the hell out of dodge! he thought, waiting with bated breath.
  13. Such is the nature and the curse of being the Typecast Shonen Protagonist, my dear Bovine. Favorite? Well, I have two at the present (and I think you can qualify the first as shonen): Katekyo Hitman Reborn - This here was pretty much the start of everything for me, especially when I was starting on YCM. This anime influenced me something fierce and the whole concept was amazing! Mafioso, supernatural powers in the form of different colored flames, gun-toting babies, time-travel? This thing had it all! And I loved every moment of it...though was thoroughly pissed when they stopped it shortly after the end of the Future Final Battle Arc, even though the manga kept going. Even more upset when they have yet to dub it...but oh well...I suppose it wasn't meant to be. My Hero Academia - Yes, it's still going...but damnit, this anime is amazing to me! I've always been about the heroes and protagonists in a story, but the fact of the matter being that this show has a plethora of heroes of all shapes, sizes, and powers along with interesting villains that also come in a variety...mix that in with some good story telling and actual character development on certain characters (soooooo looking forward to the Kirishima development part of Season 4)...what isn't to like about this? Plus, I adore the easter egg of a good portion of MHA's locations being based off of Star Wars planets...yeah I'm a nerd like that. Now...least favorite...hmmm...most recently I don't recall seeing any shonen anime I've absolutely not liked. ...well, save for Sword Art Online, but that goes without saying...EVERYONE hates SAO.
  14. Least favorite? Yikes...uh...well...unfortunately I'm not well versed in all the Fate lore about half of these Heroic Spirits, so...yeah...I'll looks stuff up. Number 5 Number 4 Number 3 Number 2 Number 1
  15. First day...with no classes. Truthfully, Chase felt a little cheated at knowing this. Here he was, all gung ho about getting started around here...only to find out that there was absolutely no class today and it was a free day. A disappointed sigh escaped the young man's lips as he shrugged slightly. Still, least he got a cool as hell wrist band that actually was able to call his mech. That was pretty much the highlight of his day by far. Then he showed his face... "I don't think you get it, sir, but my 'shape' is just fine. Isn't that right ladies?" Chase knew him...not personally, but he knew him. Weston Easton, an actor. Still baffled him, seeing an actor like this just appear at this type of academy...or to be frank, any academy at all. ...right, the 'shape' is fine...it's everything above the shoulders, starting with the brain. Chase thought, slightly shaking his head at seeing a few of the girls just fawning over this pretty boy actor. He really didn't like it.
  16. To reprise a mask or not to reprise...that is the spooky Halloween question.

  17. "Well, you know that was uh..well, some people just don't listen and uh...but I probably shouldn't have, yeah..." This caused Randy to chortle a small amount. Out of all the individuals on this little team of theirs, he thought Marie was the last one to ever do anything like that. And from the sounds of it...it was just because people weren't listening. Ahhh, to have the thought process of the younger gijinkas...then again, what was Randy thinking, after all...since coming to this region, barely anyone native here ended up listening to the Incineroar. So in a sense, he could actually understand a relate to this notion. "Yeah, I getcha. Just don't let it happen too often." Randy smirked, shaking his head. "After all, I might be out of a job if you keep going head first and all brashly fighting like that." "Hey, Randy. Why do you think the locals here are so gung ho to fight?" This question caught the Incineroar off guard, but it did have him thinking as well. It seemed like it was something that really was shared by everyone. He began to scratch his chin, before moving to scratch the side of his face, pondering this question. He finally came to an answer...whether or not it was the right answer was a different story. "Honestly Marie...I think everyone is trying to be top dog." Randy began. "It's either that they happen to be trying to be top dog and show off, or it's just something that's been bred into them since birth." He paused, sighing slightly with a scratch of his neck. "Take me for example...or rather, me and my species. Incineroars, well, we're very prideful and as you can see a good portion of the time...or all the time in my case...we love to fight. Sure, we could try not to, but I think it's more of a innate desire and want to fight that happens to drive itself out. Same could be said for the people here in Trailsau..." Another sigh escaped Randy's lips, before the Fire Type ended up shrugging. "To be completely honest, Marie, I don't really know. There could be a A LOT of things to factor in. Notoriety, display of skill, having the desire being bred into you...I honestly have no idea if it's those things, or something completely different. Really just sounds like something that this town just thrives on, if I'm honest."
  18. Who is the best Ruler Class Heroic Spirit and why is it Summer Martha?
  19. Went looking at an app in the OOC Thread...and suddenly found out all my RP apps are plagued with that sad Tinypic person. My god...so much to fix T-T

  20. "Thanks for your help Trevor. We'll be back later! Well, let's leave them alone for now. I am pretty hungry after all, so let's meet back up with the others." Once again, Marie, ever the optimist in regards to gijinka around here. Randy was somewhat proud of how Marie was handling herself around here, almost to the point of making him think of her as somewhat of a younger sibling. It was...well...refreshing to think like this. "Yeah, I'm actually pretty hungry myself." the Incineroar began to chuckle, both hearing and feeling his stomach growl and gurgle in hunger. "...guess I over did it today...but between Heatran and then Allie, it's no surprise really." Now on their way back towards the town and back to reconvene with Keanu and Nani, Randy walked with Marie. Honestly, he hadn't had time to talk with the Brionne in a while. He had that heart to heart with the group before, yes, and he had that sort of "bro" moment when talking to Keanu back in Northshore. But at the same time, just talking with Marie, the one who literally waved a finger at almost everything he did...that was something he didn't tend to do. Best start now... "By the way Marie..." he began, placing a hand on the Brionne's head, slightly ruffling her hair. "Next time, don't rush into something like that...ya know, the all out brawl before we got to Heatran and Allie's sisters?" Randy chuckled lightly, shaking his head. "You seem more suited towards the diplomacy route of things...leave the brash and brutish fighting like that to me. After all, you did say to me and a good portion of people...'NO FIGHTING!', am I wrong?" he snickered, doing the hand signs Marie happened to do back when she first said it.
  21. "...so what's your name, Napalm? I at least need to know that...otherwise I'll be calling you Napalm the entire time. I also recall a good portion of your Quirk...its more or less your hands or hand-prints make things explode, am I wrong?" "Why don't you figure it out later, eh tractor boy?" "T-Tractor Boy?!" Yuudai glared at the white haired youth, before lifting his left index finger. "First of all...my Quirk is called TRACTION, not Tractor! Second, I'm trying to be a bit friendly here. And we're supposed to be partners here...so how am I supposed to help when I don't know the Quirk of my partner?" "You'd think you already got a good look of it when I trapped you in that rubble!" He said as he laughed. "Hence why I'm asking..." Yuudai groaned, rubbing between his eyes. "Okay, fine. If you want to go that route, I'll explain mine. I happen to have these chain like muscles and they run the length of my arms and legs. Basically, they can rotate at high speeds and can grip onto small objects and the terrain. At the moment...that's the extent of it." "Oh wow." Kabo said, looking Yuudai up and down. "I didn't think it could get any lamer than that." Yuudai by now was getting extremely annoyed by his "partner" and he wanted nothing more than to watch him fail in this excerise. Unfortunately, that wouldn't befit what a hero did...nor would it help him in the long run. He wanted to make a retort, but the wall adjacent to himself and Napalm lit up with a screen, showing Hitotsume and Sharp Shogun. That did remind Yuudai that Sharp Shogun was the teacher for 1-A. So that teacher got stuck with the lout that he was a partner to...lovely. A quick list showed off the list on who they were fighting...and he sort of felt a pit in his stomach. Hibiki and Rock v.s. Yuudai and Kabo Hibiki? Man, wasn't expecting this at all...and I guess his name is Kabo then... he thought, taking a deep breath, he exhaled sharply and shook his head. "...look...you don't like this situation, I don't like this situation. Little cooperation for this exercise and then we can go back to hating each other's guts. Sound fine?" "Why don't you just sit back and watch the fireworks, chum? I can handle these two all on my own." "...you don't listen do you?" Yuudai shook his head. "It's a mock battle with partners...we have to work together. Otherwise, what the hell is the point of pitting two students against one another?" "I don't play nice with others." The boy snapped. "How many times do I gotta say it?" "And I don't particularly enjoy individuals who think they're higher than others!" Yuudai snapped back, clenching his fist slightly before exhaling again and began to stand down. "...fine...at this point we should be fine. I know what Hibiki can do...and you know this 'Rock' person's Quirk so we should be fine." Oh how wrong he would be. At this point, the area shifted slightly and what was just a normal room was now a large swampy area, complete with plenty of swamp water...definitely authentic due to the strong smell emanating from it, trees with a lot of overgrowth and vines dipping and bending from the swampy water, as well as some sort of disheveled looking animatronic, taking some sort of appearance of what Yuudai could only assume was an ogre. That there was most likely there for flavor and to get a laugh...but in this situation, Yuudai couldn't laugh. We might've been fine if this was just a normal looking battlefield...but swamp area? Hibiki may have the high ground here...literally...and if his Quirk is more or less explosions, he's screwed. Yuudai thought, sighing greatly.
  22. "Right. That. There you have it. Tell him he can do what he wants with the design, but that's roughly what I had in mind." Souji took the roughly-folded piece of paper Kyouko handed him and nodded. "Well given the sorcerer supreme, he'll be able to meet the criteria on this paper and maybe even more." he said with a chuckle. "Dude's got a hell of a gift when it comes to costume making...such a shame he hides off in the room for ample moments at a time and doesn't get to fully utilize that gift...oh well, means us in the Entertainment Dueling Club get all the benefits of it." After being shooed off, and quickly getting something to drink, Souji slunked off to a small secluded area to which he could snag a peek at what Kyouko was giving Sai to work with. Just a quick look...cause we got an idol, hero, and wizard...what's next in this merry little band? he thought, snagging a quick peek at the drawing and design in question from the paper. Needless to say, Souji was surprised to see what the design was, so much so he spewed his drink some to the side. W-Whoa... he thought, taking another good look over the rough design that was provided. ...so we go from idols to heroes to wizards...to a dark knight. Man, this is pretty decent looking design... He immediately put the paper back in his vest pocket, drinking another swig as he shook his head. Heh, Sai's gonna have a hell of a time with this one...I can just tell. Souji thought, returning back to "attempting" to mingle with everyone else.
