  1. "Well, it seems you have some celebrities. Why don't you come sit down instead of standing there gawking?" "Gawking?" Gavin asked, glancing over at Cyan. "Were we gawking? Cause I think we were just glancing if anything." "According to my analysis, Gavin...I can indeed tell you were gawking. After all, the definition of gawking is 'to stare openly and stupidly'." VEX simply responded, causing the young man to look over at his MOVA. "I am sorry, is that the wrong definition?" "...VEX I know I didn't program you with any sarcastic receptors...and yet you continue to make snarky comments like that." VEX only gave out a robotic chuckle. "Alas, this is what happens when my human happens to be someone like yourself, Gavin. Your personality is bound to rub off on me." Gavin gave off a audible sigh with a roll of his eyes. "Jeez. Anyway, if anything, we may as well go approach the woman...after all, she accused us of gawking." With that, Gavin got off his barstool and made his way towards the woman, before sitting down. "Hey."
  2. Which Servant would it be? Souta thought, trying his best to deduce the probable culprit, namely recalling the standings of the Servants and their positions. If anything, perhaps it may be the weaker of the three Knight Classes, the Archer. If not, perhaps of the Cavalry Classes, it may be Assassin. However, he turned slightly and saw that there were two individuals in this clothing store as well. One with reddish hair, wearing a black cloak, complete with a golden cross necklace hanging from his neck. The second, it appeared as if it was a teenager, ruddy looking, bright eyes and green hair. And given the object in the teen's hand...Archer and Assassin seemed to dwindle out of the realm of possibility. The Caster Servant...? Or maybe the Lancer Servant? Souta thought, not budging in his position for the moment. At this point, he couldn't tell which one it might be, the stick definitely wasn't helping in the slightest. He honestly was hoping not to have a battle here and now, given the facts that, this was actually a nice clothing store, and that there were the sales associates here in the store to be caught in the crossfire. "They're not worth our time. Let's go." "Hang on Master, it might be beneficial for us to stay for a bit. After all...I know his True Name." This intrigued and surprised Souta. This Servant already knew who Rider was? And this was even before any combat took place. "Rider, would this be someone you happen to be familiar with?" he asked, turning to the knight. "I'm sorry Master, but he's not someone I recognize." Rider admitted. "Well, that's to be expected, my fair Saber," Caster stated. "I am a great deal older than you. However, you're holding something of mine." Souta looked at Rider, before glancing back towards Caster and his Master. "So he knows you, but in return, you don't recognize him. Nevertheless, I will say I was half expecting either Archer or Assassin to show up first, given their Servant Class statuses." "What are your orders, Master?" Rider asked as he got into a defensive stance. "Yes, Master, your orders?" Caster asked Akira. "I don't care. Do whatever you want." "Well then, in that case..." with a quick step, Caster moved towards Rider, spinning his staff. "Tch, seems like we're doing this." Souta clenched his fists slightly. If he really knows who Rider is, then we may be at a disadvantage here, due to him knowing how he fights...this is only IF he knows him as well as he says. he thought, before nodding. "Rider, you may engage. However, I want you to take caution with him. If you need, I'll assist with my magic." "Understood," Rider answered as he shifted his stance, swinging his sword in a wide arc. Caster grinned and held up his staff in the way of the sword. Steel met wood. A small shock-wave reverberated from the colliding blows, but wooden staff held firm, not giving way to the sword. "Keeping a protective stance in front of your Master, very chivalrous of you," Caster commented as he leapt back. Rider however, dashed forward, chasing down Caster, who managed to always keep one step ahead of the sword swings, either by block or evading them. "Master..." Rider's voice filled Souta's head. "The way this man wields his staff, and the movements of a hardened warrior... I believe we ran into Lancer!" "Lancer, huh?" Souta nodded, watching the two Servants fighting like this. "Then that would make the most sense. You almost introduced yourself as Saber after the Summoning, so if he knows you, then he must be of the chivalrous type as well. Regardless, be cautious Rider..." "Right. I am going to push him out of the store, into a more open area, so we don't harm any civilians." "That's a good idea, Rider. The less casualties from civilians, the better...plus I think I'm liking this store." Souta nodded, tugging on his gloves slightly. "Need any assistance in the range of a burst of wind magic?" "No, just watch yourself, just in case the other Master attacks you." Rider said as the two fighters slowly worked their way out to the exit. "Understood, Rider." Souta responded, keeping a watchful eye on the Master, whilst also following after his own Servant. Akira didn't make a move towards Souta, instead heading out to follow Caster. He didn't seem to acknowledge him at all in fact. This was a good thing for Souta, as it allowed him to follow after Rider as quick as possible. The two clashing heroes finally made it out of the store, landing in the center of the empty mall. "So Lancer, what gives away my identity to you?" Rider asked as he stopped to study his opponent. "Well, that's simple," Caster replied. "You're wielding my sword, after all Saber..." Rider froze at those words, his mind reeling. "That's right, I know who you are..." "Galahad of the Round Table..."
  3. It worked out perfectly...just like he was wanting. A double lariat performed by him and Misu. Not only this, he was actually able to apply his belt muscles to good use, something he truly hadn't thought about since he was pretty young. Nevertheless, unfortunately...this "Locomotive Lariat" (name pending), only succeeded in pushing Spring Lock back about 30 yards. And right now...he was spent... "Your convictions are strong...U.A. will be sad to have such student's expelled." This cut to Yuudai like a knife. He truthfully didn't want to be expelled...but then again...he wanted to save a friend. Surely that want and act alone would be good enough...right? As Yuudai got in a stance, ready to attempt to try and stop Spring Lock from advancing, Crimson...no Scarlet Skeleton...returned. "SPRING! One of your students totally tripped and fell on a stalactite or somethin'! They're bleeding out really bad! We need to get them to a doctor!" "RYUJI!" "It wasn't my fault man, come on!" The young man watched as Spring Lock launched himself towards Crimson and through the forest. Yuudai immediately collapsed on his rear, groaning slightly as he held his arm and slightly rubbed his legs. T-This...I pushed myself too far again...j-jeez...strained good again. he thought, just sitting there for a good long period of time. BGM "Get on the bus." These were the words that Yuudai heard from a quite stern Spring Lock, after he carried off Katsurou and Diana to the hospital. Apparently Diana was injured...which wasn't what he was expecting to see at all. Still, now his mind was reeling with what could possibly be done now...namely to the current three that sort of had a hand in Silver leaving with Scarlet Skeleton: Misu, Valerie, and of course himself. "Yo...you think you did the right thing today? Honestly...I kinda just wanted to fight that teacher...but after doin' something for that thing...I feel kinda...Ugh! I don't even know!" Yuudai looked at Misu who asked the question to Valerie, as he sighed. That was the biggest thought most of these students, well, at least the three had more than likely. He remained quiet for a moment, before piping up. "...I honestly think we did." he spoke. "...truth be told, the last time I saw Silver...he was attacked by that Napalm kid during the Entrance Exam. I wanted to help him then, hell, I was planning to help him then, but that attack left him scarred and he wondered if what the kid's thought of a hero was...if that was the same thing I had." Yuudai sighed greatly, shaking his head. "Today was the first time I've seen him since then...I...I just wanted to help him, just like I was trying to that day. I wanted to show him...that my thought of a hero...wasn't like that kid's."
  4. After his tangent, Souji was prepared to deal with Melissa, offering her a chance to join the club. However, Akari spoke up about her deck and Dueling style. However...this was one turn out he didn't expect. “Well, what I mainly want to do with my dueling is to make people happy, but I honestly don’t know what kind of persona I could be, or maybe I should say, want to be? As to answer what Hoshiko asked, I use Crystal Beasts in a sort of defensive way. Basically using a large assortment of cards to stall until I can bring out Rainbow Dragon.” Souji looked at Akari for a good long moment, before letting out a sigh as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "...you play Crystal Beasts...and run Rainbow Dragon?" he asked, turning around and heading back over towards the chair he originated from. "...okay, well since we're giving advice on how to better one's style, allow me to give my opinion." Souji then proceeded to slam his hands on the desk in front of him, looking at Akari. "Rainbow Dragon, just don't run it." He knew he sounded a bit harsh when he said it, but he immediately put his hand up. "It is my opinion, you can do what you like...but I'm being frank about this. This requires you to run all seven of the Crystal Beasts, when running a few is better. Why? Cause only a certain amount of the Beasts effects are good...Eagle, Pegasus, and Carbuncle are a few general candidates of good effects." he continued. "Further, Rainbow Dragon itself, while also being difficult to summon by needing all the Beasts in play or in Graveyard, it's effect is essentially you can get an extra boost in attack by sending your Beasts to the grave...so at the very least, you'd have a heavy hitter on the field." A pause was made as Souji held up one finger. "However, its the other problem that can really be a hindrance. Banish all...not some...not a few...ALL of your Crystal Beasts from grave to essentially send all cards on the field back to the deck and shuffle them. In theory, it works...but this also includes...Rainbow Dragon. So it'll go back to the deck, and if a good portion of your necessary cards are banished...you won't be able to summon it again." With a heavy sigh, Souji shrugged. "Again, that's my personal opinion. I am not having you divert from your set Dueling Style, only giving a thought. Anyway...back to you..." Souji then moved back towards Melissa and looked at her. "Well, since Sai here brought you along...care to join the Entertainment Duel Club? Fairly certain that's what Hoshiko over there was planning to ask...just a hunch if anything."
  5. "Well first of all, I summon a tuner monster, get monsters that add up to eight, and synchro summon. Basic math, really." Sarcasm was something that Jet knew well, after all, he could hear it dripping from every word most of the scientists under Dr. Akihiro, especially when they were dealing with him or referring to him. Needless to say, Jet remained emotionless and gave a blank stare towards Zirco, almost as if to say he wasn't amused. "My dragon is particular. It apparently has a person it has chosen, but that man doesn't know it exists. In order to summon it for the first time, I had to give up something. He demanded the memories of the people closest to me... so now I can't remember my parents at all. I... I think. Maybe I never had parents and he took the memory of someone else... I... I can't remember...So yeah, that's how I did it. But seeing how everyone else doesn't seem to have that issue, it's probably different from dragon to dragon. You'll just have to figure it out." This was something that Jet wasn't expecting to have as an answer. He was never told this by Akihiro before, only being tossed the Duel Dragon and being told to summon it...nothing more...nothing less. But now, according to Zirco... T-There's a cost...? Jet thought, slowly moving towards one of the treadmills and began to walk on it. He started to hold on to his right arm slightly, gripping it tightly as his mind started playing thoughts and scenarios. ...it...it could take away memories of the orphanage...m-maybe just of my past in general...n-n-no...that w-w-would be stupid. But...what else do I have left f-for this dragon...to take from me? "...d-do I even have...anything left to give...?" he muttered under his breath, gripping his arm more and more.
  6. Randy couldn't help but smile at the responses from Keanu and Marie towards Heatran and vice-versa. This was something he really needed...especially to boost his confidence up...waaaaaay up if anything. He turned to begin to head up the volcano with the others...but was stopped after Heatran called out again. "Hey. I've heard some things even up here. There's something big coming. I can't leave to help out. So you all better do something about it. If you want to go around thinking you can beat me then go prove it alright?" This...didn't bode well. The Incineroar quickly made his way up towards the edge of the volcano. He could feel something even up here? ...did another fight break out?? he thought, finally reaching the edge. Randy looked over the edge of the volcano, his eyes noting a sudden, strange sandstorm. "Huh...that's wei-..." he paused, immediately closing his mouth. Was it really weird? No...he knew only one other Gijinka here on this region that he faced that had such a sandstorm. Plus this was Trailsau...her home. "Allie's back..." he said sternly, clenching his fists slightly. Randy slowly turned back towards Heatran, sighing. "...really wish you weren't right about that. But..." He simply gave a thumbs up towards him. "We got this. ...if I was able to hold my own against the Strongest Legend...she should be no problem." This obviously didn't warrant a response from Heatran, but at this moment, Randy didn't need it. He looked over at Marie and Keanu, sighing a bit. "Guess that means we gotta get down there and stop her...I know you don't approve of the fighting, Marie...but I'm fairly certain this one is an exception. Plus...heh, I'm fairly certain I can give her a tail-whoopin', courtesy of her old man, since she left her sisters alone." Randy, without waiting for a response from the other two, immediately started to make his way down the side of the volcano. ...I got lucky last time because of Malicious Moonsault and my Blaze powered Fire Blast. I don't have the luxury of using it this time...guess I gotta trust in using Brick Break...and Keanu and Marie...

  8. "Sammi. My mech is the SK-04, designed for aerial combat. The one with the propellers." "Propellers...propellers..." Chase closed his eyes and rubbed under his chin for a moment, trying his best to remember which mech this was. Finally, it clicked and he snapped slightly. "Oooooh!!! The one that almost resembled one of those old timey cargo planes...the one with pulse cannons and the railgun. That one is quite the mech in my book. Though, a bit one sided for my tastes...given the fact that it seems to be made for aerial combat primarily and has no versatility...but that's just me." It didn't take Chase long to realize he had been rambling about the mecha to Sammi like this. He quickly kept himself quiet and rubbed the back of his head. "Ehehehe...sorry about that. Didn't mean to get on a tangent there." "Have you been thinking about those houses?" "Sun Lizards." he said, not even missing a beat. "It's a house that definitely seems like it'll help me in the long run. Especially if I want to develop my own mech from scratch one day. After all, they happen to be a house of information, so gathering as much as I can and even finding out what certain mechs are capable of can help my studies and research out even more. What about you?"
  9. It all happened so fast...much faster than Chris had ever expected. One moment, Conner came in contact with the strange suit of armor...the next...fire...and then they were in the cafeteria...and then finally... "Machinedramon!!" "M-MACHINEDRAMON?! W-What the hell is something like that doing here?!" Herissmon exclaimed, hiding behind Chris' leg some. "A-And it just took out that Devimon...t-t-that's some bad news." "Holy hell..." Chris muttered, almost star-struck by this massive living machine creature. "Everyone! Run into the auditorium! We need to get as much distance between us and this monster as we can! Go, NOW!!!" As much as Chris hated to admit it, Mr. Henderson was right. They needed to go, but to just leave Henderson here like that, didn't seem like it would be a really good idea. Hell, Kokoro even tried to take a stand, albeit with Touch immediately trying to drag her off, with Dominic pretty much pressuring her to go as well and made a bee-line straight to the auditorium, same with Todd. At the same time, Mackenzie was staying with her caterpillar-like creature...and then there was Theodore. "Machine dragon of metal, stand down! We can make talk of this as opposed to the obliteration thy offer. And if not, I will not hesitate to show thee my mettle!" "N-No way...a-a Spirit?! ...t-that's awesome!" "Hmm, can you do something like that, Quill?" Chris asked, addressing Herissmon with a new name. "Quill? Why'd you...oh, right...it's a lot easier than saying 'Herissmon'..." the ivory hedgehog nodded, before shaking his head. "T-That's a no, Chris. I'm not exactly a Spirit-type Digimon. There's...a whole lot of lore behind that annnnnd this isn't the proper time." "Alright, didn't hurt to ask." he chuckled, moving to grab his baseball bat from his bag and with an adjustment of his glasses, he began to swing it in his hand. "Guess we'll have to do this old fashioned. Alright, Quill, here's the plan. We're going to try and get this thing's attention and when it does, in theory...the others that are obviously striking at it, shooooooooould have an opening to strike and then we can all hightail it out of here!" "B-But...but didn't he say...?" "He did indeed...however, there are other students here that are trying to help him out." Chris said, grabbing a decent sized chunk of debris on the ground, tossing it gently in his hand. "And because of that, they're team players that need some help. Plus..." he paused, smirking widely. "This is quite the challenge...and I wanna see if we can overcome it!!" With a toss, he lobbed the debris in the air and immediately swung at it, launching it straight towards the Machinedramon.
  10. "Watch it! You...You, you... you... I've seen you somewhere else today. Ah, you were there when we were defending the Finback!" Chase sighed as he looked at the mess that was obviously made on him. Such a wonderful thing of punch...ruined...now it was spilled on the floor. "Man...I hadn't finished that..." he grumbled, before looking at who the bumping individual was and noticed it was a young girl, who apparently on the Finback with him. "Hmm? Oh yeah, I was defending it with a few others. Was in the mech known as Aegis Weiss." he nodded, extending a hand towards the young girl. "Chase Weller, at your service." Should the young girl shake his hand, after this he would put it back in his pocket and smile slightly. "So if you knew about that, then that means you must've been up there on the outside of the ship too. Soooooo which mech were you piloting?"
  11. It's an interesting question to be brought out for sure. Honestly, back in the day, I probably would've immediately answered with Ganondorf due to how he was when I first played OoT. However, there have been quite a number differences that I've come across between both characters. Ganondorf has gone through so many iterations, but in the end, still is just Ganondorf. Mind you, this could possibly be just the problem stemming from the whole "Trio forever reincarnated" thing that occurred thanks to Demise in Skyward Sword, but nevertheless, it's something that has continuously happened. Further, while Ganondorf as well as Ganon's power and skill is quite impressive, it somewhat pales in comparison to the countless amount that the Koopa King has at his disposal. On the Koopa's side, we've seen him in countless games and seen him develop quite the character...one of which being his role as a father and father figure for Bowser Jr as well as the Koopalings. This here is the biggest thing for me. No matter how much he messes up or how outlandish the circumstances are that he's going for, he's trying his best to do this for his kid(s) and be a father (Perhaps I'm harping on this factor a lot more than other factors due to my losing my own father this past April, but it's something I can't really help). Also...Bowser has started becoming my favorite character recently anyway because of a SSB machinima...cause let's be honest...this VA for him really fits the part xD So yeah, Bowser has my vote.
  12. "I stay up here until someone comes up to fight. Then I fight. Then I wait. What's it to you?" "Haha, I don't think Marie here meant any disrespect, Heatran." Randy laughed, taking a bite out of the Sitrus Berry that Keanu tossed him. "She's, more on the side of not doing too much fighting if she can help it. But still, you are incredible! ...truth be told, I didn't think that Malicious Moonsault of mine would actually work. Last two opponents for that sorta...had the Dark typing to resist it. Wasn't too great for me." "If they resist you just have to hit harder." he responded with a shrug. "Hmm...just hit harder, huh?" Randy took another bite of the berry and finished it before crossing his arms. "Never thought of it that way. Still, definitely makes sense. Truth be told...your the first Legend I've had a hand in ending a fight against. ...unfortunately, Marie and Keanu here and our Mimikyuu friend actually finished the fight with Yveltal...I...I unfortunately was knocked out for a while." Heatran watched Randy for a few moments before grunting. "Yveltal is just a big dumb bird anyway." He then scooped up some lava and began eating it. He nodded slowly, exhaling slightly. "I honestly thought I couldn't beat you...and when you said that I wasn't strong enough to get your full attention...it almost felt that I was back at square one with this whole Chaser thing...more specifically...back to the point where I couldn't beat a Legend." "Don't go thinking you beat me just cause you won." Heatran said with a slight growl. "No, I wouldn't insult you like that, Heatran." Randy shook his head slowly. "You have a lot of pride fighting, I could feel that with your punches. But...this is the closest I've been...granted, your the second Legend I've fought...but still." "I'm the strongest you'll fight." Heatran said. He stood up and moved to the edge of the volcano, looking down on the city. "The strongest..." he muttered, before smirking lightly and chuckling. "Then...I am honored to have been able to have a chance to fight the strongest one, Heatran."
  13. Truth be told, Yuudai wasn't too thrilled about the current turn of events. His strike basically being deflected and now Valerie was struck at by Spring Lock, and it was only because Misu intervened that she wasn't hurt too much at this point. At this point, he wasn't even sure what he could do. Even though he had quite a bit of time to get accustom to his Quirk, he wasn't too sure about how to properly utilize it...especially aside from basically going tank and attempting to punch things. "You're all clearly outmatched. Give up, and I'll make sure the school overlooks this." His fists began to clench tightly, as the belt muscles began to move slowly. This was insane. How in the world could he possibly strike at Spring Lock and actually do some damage? All he knew about was just the belts in his muscles basically helping him out and making him a bit faster and a tad bit stronger, but that was about it. He actually thought about giving up at this point, but what about Silver? "When you hear the snap...you should probably move...so do you numb-nuts gotta any bright ideas?" "Don't have much time for ideas right now. We don't really have to win. Just keep him here as long as possible. I'm going to keep up the pressure and make sure he can't get out of our reach. At least one of you should keep back to stop him if he slips past." And they still have the fight to go on...though Misu has a point. The snapping sound...that would be the best time for us to move. Yuudai thought, watching Valerie already going back and putting on the pressure. So...at this point, what can I do? All I got is tanking and my chain belts...that happen to also...be...in my arms... That's when something popped into his head. It came when he remembered something about his Quirk, especially when he was a young boy trying to first control his Quirk. ...it ripped my shirt sleeves that one time... he thought, looking at his arm. Inspiration struck and right now he had an idea that might actually work. But to actually pull something off like this...there needed to be a bit of help. Valerie's putting on the pressure...but the only other one who has the strength is... Yuudai's eyes lifted from his arm and were drawn towards Misu. "Misu..." he finally spoke, making his way over towards the bancho girl. "I may have an idea...but to do this...I need your assistance. I want to do a tag team attack on Spring Lock." "What? You think a tag team attack is gonna work?" Misu brushed her hair to the side, and let loose steam from her mouth. "Whatever, I'm game. Let's knock him on his ass." "Alright then. I'm thinking...a double lariat..." Yuudai said, rolling his shoulder slightly. "We rush in towards his front and strike him. You and your steam...and me and my belts...might push him back. Hell, maybe even some damage to him. Heh, you say when, Misu."
  14. "...now, I believe that the next course of action would be to do some reconnaissance. After all, neither one of us are exactly familiar with our surroundings. So, shall we get started, Rider? Perhaps on the way, you could enlighten me on your wish upon the Grail." Souta's question still lingered in the air, as the two began to walk. He was met by silence for a good bit of time. Perhaps he said something wrong? Or perhaps he insulted the Heroic Spirit. He truly hoped neither was the case. The knight was quiet as his master spoke. It seemed to be a combination of general respect and uneasiness, as if he didn't know what to say. Finally though, he answered. "My name... I apologize, my master, but I am a knight with no name. My deeds they... Well, let us say I was not deemed worthy of a name." "A knight with no name?" Souta asked, quite intrigued by this. Nevertheless, he sighed. "Keep your secrets then...for the moment, revealing your name most likely wouldn't be for the best. Now...tell me, what are you seeking for from the Grail, Rider?" "What I wish... I have but one wish. I wish to return to my time, so I may be a splendid knight for my king," the Rider explained. "Pray tell, my Master, what do you wish for so much that you would risk your life in this Holy Grail Game?" Souta stopped in his stride when Rider spoke to him. A heavy sigh escaped his lips as he turned to look at his Servant. "It's...a wish not for myself...but for my clan, the Aozaki..." he began to explain. "We are...not one of the noble families of Magus, not by a long shot. My wish is...is for the Aozaki clan to have its glory and status fully restored..." "If you believe your duty to your family is reason enough to fight in this game, then I shall be your sword that leads you to victory," Rider stated. Souta looked at Rider, nodding slowly. "Thank you..." he said, before continuing his stride. ...it's truly not my own wish, however. But...I have a duty I must uphold and fulfill for their sake...I must, against all odds, survive this game... However, Rider said something yet again in those responses. "Game? Rider, why do you call this Holy Grail War a game?" he asked, curious to understand his Servant's phrasing about that. "..." Rider was silent at first, mulling over how to answer. "This is not a war." the Rider finally answered. "War is the hatred of brothers turning against brothers, and the pains of whole families turn asunder. It is the suffering of innocence and the death of justice. It is rampant atrocities and horrors the likes of which can drive you insane. It is the passing of years, of countless lifetimes, enduring—praying for peace to come and continuing on when it doesn't. This Holy Grail 'War' is a farce compared to true war." Now this was an answer Souta wasn't expecting, but nevertheless...he figured it would be, especially coming from a knight. "I see. No doubt, you've seen war with your own eyes to which you can accurately judge." he nodded. "Very well, I believe your wish is an admirable one...so I'll do my best in helping you, as you help me." "As long as you don't lose sight of your light, I shall be by your side." the knight reaffirmed. "Now, do we have modern clothes? I believe walking around in full armor is bound to draw attention to myself." "Hmmm, unfortunately I don't believe I have clothes that could fit you, Rider." Souta lamented, seeing this unfortunate to be in this predicament. "Nevertheless, I believe the mall is open...which is strange. America is strange...I'll have you stay in spirit form and out of sight until we get you the clothes." With this, Souta separated from Rider, who he watched dissipate from sight...most likely remaining in spirit form as requested. He was surely lucky that the U.S. had malls open at 2 A.M., although this was most unorthodox for him. Clothes shopping...well, if the Heroic Spirit wishes to blend in, I suppose this was to be a given. Souta thought, walking into the mall.
  15. "Kyouko Izumi, I'm late and I missed the introductions, but I'd probably forget everyone's names anyway." A smirk appeared on Souji's face, the moment Kyouko entered the room, though failing on the landing. He turned towards Sai and chuckled, before mouthing, "And you said she wouldn't show up." He turned towards Kyouko and nodded firmly. "Glad to see you make it. Entrance was phenomenal, if the landing was a bit to be desired." "As Souji said, we're definitely accepting, but I have to add, do you have a persona? I play the role of a mystical magician, Souji is a superhero, and Hoshiko is an idol. If you don't have one, we can definitely help both you and Kyouko out, I'll just need-... Okay, sorry to bail, but it seems my notebook is missing, and that thing is full of basically... everything. I'll hopefully be back before the meeting ends." Souji watched as Sai ended up running out of the room, which caused the young man to sigh greatly. "Sai Kamezooka, ladies and gentlemen...Master of Forgetfulness..." he shrugged, before turning to address Akari, but Hoshiko was already on the ball. "It's ok, that's what this place is for, right? What type of deck do you use? Your persona doesn't have to relate, but it's a good place to start and-" "Hoshiko is on the money with that." Souji continued, as Hoshiko seemed busy and/or preoccupied with something. "For us Entertainment Duelists, I believe that having some sort of persona...or...let's use a different phrase...choosing the mask you wear, is something that many people will definitely remember. If you take the guise of a hero, as myself, you want to portray yourself in the manner...being heroic and courageous. If you take the guise of an idol, such as Hoshiko, then you do what you can to dazzle the audience with a lovely performance. In short, it all depends on how YOU yourself feel you want to entertain the masses. You get what I mean?" “Hi...Um, what did you want to ask me?” Once more the door to the club room opened and he saw not only Sai back...but a familiar girl. It was the girl he was sitting beside during Hitomu's Duel: Melissa. "You? Huh...didn't take you for a...well, color me surprised yet again, Sorcerer Supreme. You've brought in another candidate for the Entertainment Dueling Club." Souji began to chuckle, before looking sharply at Sai and his eyes narrowing...remembering that there was something he brought up that Souji HAD to address. "You really need better opening moves than Nova Master and Divine Wind. Like, really, you have an unhealthy attachment to those two. You dress up as Divine Wind. Like, any long time fans you get will notice this. I know I have." "Also...I didn't get a chance to address this...but..." Souji stood up quickly. "You said I 'dress up as Divine Wind'. I'll have you know, that my outfit is NOT Divine Wind." He took out a small notepad from his back pocket, flipping it open and holding it up towards Sai. "IF you were versed in the lore of the Masked HERO Duel Monsters, you'd recognize that the outfit of the Kamen Rider is based on a monster that hasn't even been released: Masked HERO Gust! Hmph..."
  16. Favorite Servant class and that class' Servant from the Fate/Stay series?
  17. Randy watched intently, awaiting to see what Heatran was about to do, as the smoke began to clear from the explosion that occurred. There, he saw Heatran being slammed into the stone...before moving up slightly to get on one knee...then he let out a roar. D-Damn! Was my Malicious Moonsault...n-not enough...? Lava began to envelop his body, and the Incineroar began to prepare himself for another round. However, the geyser of lava that shot straight into the air began to shrink before his eyes. It shrank and shrank until it couldn't any longer and finally dissipated. His eyes were now trained on Heatran who stood up and had steam billowing out of his mouth. Randy shifted slightly, preparing for the worst...however... "The volcano's rage has died. It won't be erupting today." Randy's eyes, still locked on Heatran, began to widen when he spoke this. He smiled slightly, before finally collapsing on his rear and sighing greatly. "...g-good thing the volcano isn't raging anymore...d-don't think that would've been good for Trailsau if it erupted..." he said, looking over at Marie and Keanu. "H-Honestly...that was my main reason to fight him...I-I mean, other than my reason for doing it being a Chaser...b-but...I think we won!" We won...I won!! Finally...a rightful win under my belt! he thought, with a slight chuckle.
  18. "'Ey, you should come with me to the gym. You need to work out, you know. You're super thin." Originally, Jet didn't want to indulge Zirco in working out with him...just honestly wanted to go back to his room and sleep. But, on the other hand, this was the opportunity to finally speak with the man and actually learn how he worked this out with the summoning of his Duel Dragon. So, reluctantly, Jet answered. "S-Sure..." he simply complied, standing up after downing the last little bit of his coffee. He quickly followed up behind Zirco, who already walked off, throwing his hood over his head as he finally caught up to the young man. O-Okay...you c-can do this, Hoshimi...just...j-just talk...don't even have to be friends...j-just get information... Jet thought, doing his best to try and convince himself to just speak to Zirco about the Duel that had occurred. "Z-Zirco...?" Jet finally mustered up some sort of courage...if you want to call it that...and finally spoke. "I...I wanted to know something...h-h-how do you do it...?" He continued to walk with Zirco, but began to look at his right arm and his eyes gazing on the Mark of the Heart. "...you summoned...H-Hot Red Dragon...a-almost flawlessly...h-how the hell...can you summon it...s-so easily...?"
  19. Aside from Saber (namely Artoria and Mordred), who are your top five favorite Heroic Spirits from the Fate/Stay franchise?
  20. The chant had finished, but at the same time...nothing seemed to happen. Souta began to feel that this might've been a waste...and that he might've failed. However, a breeze filled the room, one that began to evolve from a gentle breeze into vortex over time. The young Magus brought his hands up to brace himself, not expecting to witness a miniature tornado beginning to develop in the room. S-So this...this is what occurs when a Servant is summoned?! he thought, feeling the winds die down and before him in the circle stood a knight clad in armor and holding a blade in front of him. "So you are the one that summoned me. From now on, I’ll be your Servant. For the sake of my king, believe in me, as I will believe in you." Souta stood there quite shocked. The blade this knight carried, he wasn't 100% sure of it, but it was quite prestigious. A Saber Class? Did I just summon a Saber? "My Class is Sab---... How odd. It seems I was summoned as a Rider in this war... So then Master, what is our first move?" This was now a bit of a twist that he wasn't expecting. Souta assumed he was a Saber, and even the Heroic Spirit assumed he was a Saber, however the Grail seemed to have other intentions. Nevertheless, Rider was summoned before him and Souta only looked over at his right hand, seeing the Command Seals now proving that he was the Master of Rider. He exhaled slowly, putting his glove back on his hand, looking at the knight. "Introductions, I would believe. I do know the rules set in motion for you Heroic Spirits regarding your true identities, however...it does not mean that I cannot introduce myself. Aozaki Souta..." he said quite respectfully. "...now, I believe that the next course of action would be to do some reconnaissance. After all, neither one of us are exactly familiar with our surroundings. So, shall we get started, Rider? Perhaps on the way, you could enlighten me on your wish upon the Grail."
  21. The Halo Infinite trailer was actually good, and the Smash reveal of Banjo-Kazooie was good as well. Probably it was the announcement of BotW sequel happening and the announcement of the KH3 DLC "Re:Mind", cause those were amazing.
  22. It wasn't looking 100% good for Randy right now. Sure he had gotten the attention of Heatran with his Brick Break strike, but right now, the Legend looked pissed...almost beyond pissed. And the moment he turned, Heatran had also sent the pillar of magma that was going towards Marie and it struck at him...and this one was WORSE than the other one previous. He braced himself, but was still knocked back quite a bit away...but he wasn't going to give up. T-Tch...well, got him on me now...what next Roarton? he thought, growling slightly, watching Heatran stomping towards him...almost seeming to be in the motion of attempting to grab him. Randy could tell...he got a hold of him like that, it was the ten-count for him for sure. I don't have anything else that could work...then...guess it may be time to use the ace in the hole... The Incineroar looked at his Incinium Z around his neck, before glancing back at Heatran. He'd need to do this just right in order to do it properly. Allie took the Malicious Moonsault last time...and unfortunately, she was Dark so it practically did nothing. However, he knew Heatran wasn't just by looking at him. This would have to work...now if he only had a method to give him something else to slow him down first. Luckily, Heatran was struck in the back by an attack...more accurate...a combo attack performed by Keanu and Marie via an Electro Ball and a Water Gun. And from the looks of it, this caused Heatran to be a bit slower in his approach. BGM Randy noticed this slowed approach of the Heatran after the attack struck him. This was his opportunity. A deep sigh escaped his mouth as the Z-Crystal around his neck began to glow brightly just as he began to stand back up. "Didn't want to use this now...but...looks like I have no other option." he growled slightly, the air around him being covered in a strong energy. "Here goes nothing!" With a quick stomp of his foot, Randy watched as the ground around him and Heatran rose up in the formation of a square. He let out a loud roar, before leaping high into the air. With the flair of the somersault being performed in the air, Randy began to fall at an alarming rate towards Heatran, his entire body being coated in a flame that seemed to also have a hint of dark black tints to it. "SIGNATURE MOVE!! MALICIOUS...MOONSAULT!!!" Once the fiery strike that was Randy collided to Heatran, an explosion erupted from this "ring"...as the Incineroar skidded out of the explosion a bit away, huffing slightly as he awaited to see if that did anything to this Legend.
