  1. "I don't like just rolling over and taking it. But it just kind of clicked in my head when we got the memo to stop, that this isn't my world. Like, I know old cop shows from before Fragments developed, they didn't have superheroes swoop in and catch the bad guy, and old hero shows didn't involve them interfering with police investigations. So maybe that's not part of my job as a hero. Maybe police investigations take longer in this world because there aren't superpowers all over the place you can track the bad guy with. Plus, I don't feel like getting on Mauvache's bad side." "...alright fair point..." Gavin shrugged a bit, sitting down slightly on the 'ice-elevator'. It made sense, but at the same time, they had abilities that could be utilized...so why not use them to assist if need be. But she has a point, especially with not being on Mauvache's bad side. he thought. At the same time, something she mentioned wasn't making too much sense. "Fragments? I'm afraid I'm not understanding what you mean there, Snow Angel. What sort of fragments did people in your world have?" he asked, not realizing what a 'Fragment' from her universe was...only thinking it was fragments of something larger. "Officers get injured in the line of duty all the time. If you chase after every incident you're going to be very busy indeed. That is why we have law enforcement to begin with. None of them should spend their time on such matters. They don't even know this place nearly as well. It's much too dangerous and unknown for them. Plus, I already said my piece. They aren't to chase after this. They work for me and this Arena. And in this Arena I make the rules...Checkmate." VEX watched the clearly illegal move that Mauvache make in this little Chess game, but let it slide. After all, she WAS their benefactor and making the rules for the Arena. "Ahh, I have been bested. An impressive move by you, Mauvache." he said, clapping his hands slightly. "I can barely get Gavin to keep going in a Chess game, but you seem to take games quite strongly." With a small wave of his hand, the chessboard vanished between him and Mauvache. "However, I do know you are a busy person. I simply wanted to have a moment to speak with you, after you brought myself and Gavin to this world. And as I suspected, you are quite the enigma, but one that definitely one should not pursue." He bowed slightly. "However, I must take my leave. Gavin will wonder why I have taken too long in my....'searches'. I do hope we can have another chat some day or perhaps another game." VEX only nodded and then took his leave and left the office of Mauvache.
  2. BGM Another day in this new merged world...and Chris found himself face to face in the bathroom mirror with himself. With a yawn, he took a few splashes of cold water to his face, waking him up. Shaking his head a bit, he fixed his hair and then tossed his glasses back on. Well it's another day...time to try and make the best of it. Chris thought, smiling before jogging out of the bathroom and started jogging around the hallways. It was time for his daily routine. Unfortunately, what he wanted to do was do a few swings with his baseball bat in a batting cage...however, he couldn't really do that. So Chris would have to deal with a bit of a morning jog around the gym. Luckily, with "The Great Merger" happening, it made the gym a bit more challenging to go in there. It reminded him of a few of the obstacles you'd see in America Ninja Warrior or the like. Still, he'd like to jog around the gym...but they made that the designated sleeping areas. He honestly thought the classrooms would've been a better idea for most of the students, buuuuuut he wasn't in a position to actually make decisions for the teachers. Hmm, wonder how things are looking on the outside at this point... Chris thought, stopping his jog after his fifth lap around the hallways. He exhaled slightly, cracking his neck slightly. Though at this point...heading outside would be a bad idea...so maybe scratch that off the list until we're given the A-OK to leave. Cutting through his thoughts, Chris heard his stomach growling...which made him think of a few of the creatures outside the school. "Yeah...it's about time for food, isn't it?" he chuckled to himself, before beginning his stride back up and made his way to the cafeteria. "That's not for you! Bugger off, you imp!" Chris arrived to the cafeteria about that time that Mr. Henderson, the metal shop teacher, shouting at one of those many creatures...today's little thief: a small imp creature. He chuckled slightly, and made his way towards the teacher, waving. "Morning Mr. Henderson. Seems like the little thieves around here are getting weirder and weirder looking, huh?" he asked, sitting at one of the tables, already working on eating.
  3. The newcomer introduced herself as Rika Sahira...so most likely she was another student. Either way, she was showing that she obviously wasn't enjoying this little trip...which made sense on why... "Owner of probably the only mecha with combustible load for ammunition and knowledgeable in the fact that the pilot is not avoiding the increasing number of 'asteroids'... meaning we're traveling into an asteroid field, which may not be the correct route." Combustible load for ammunition? Sheesh... Chase thought, mentally making a note to add that to his notebook but kept that from happening...for the moment. "Honestly, if that was the case, we'd probably been under a different ship that didn't have any of our mechs onboard and wasn't on it's way to the academy." he simply shrugged. "If anything, the normal route might've had a few issues with it so they went with this route. After all, things happen, so it wouldn't be surprising if that was the case, ya know?"
  4. Apparently his yelling to Trevor was actually stopping the fight for a good bit of time...which actually surprised the Incineroar. "Okay. I just thought that's what you were here for." Was this guy getting snippy with him? Once the Flygon started moving, the battle continued...Randy needed to "explain" this situation to the kid. "OH! I'm sorry! We'd do that...BUT WE'RE A LITTLE BUSY HERE!!" he shouted back at Trevor, rolling his eyes. He isn't wrong though...we need to just go...otherwise I'll NEVER get my opportunity to challenge Heatran! he thought, grumbling slightly. "Oi! Marie! Keanu! Nani! I'm going to see if I can blast us a path." he shouted to his friends. "When it's open, high-tail it after Trevor and maybe we can actually get back to what we're supposed to be doing here!" When he had a moment, not being attacked by the Trailsau natives, he unleashed a Fire Blast to try and split the fighting mob down the middle to open a path...he just really hoped that would work...otherwise they'd be stuck fighting. He shook his head slightly. The one time he didn't want to just keep fighting...man, these roles for him and Marie were definitely switched up today, weren't they?
  5. "Oh please, I'm sure you'd love it if one of your adoooooring fan girls came up to you and asked for an autograph." "Hmph...I don't know what you happen to be talking about, Jun." Souji simply replied to his rival in hattery. "Really only time I get that is when I'm in costume and character. Till then, I'm only regular old Souji." "I found one." He simply rolled his eyes slightly, crossing his arms. "Day late and a dollar short there, Jun. I've already recruited her for the Entertainment Dueling Club. Simply just missing one more member to join...and I got Sai on that duty." Souji was about to reply to Hoshiko, when he felt a slight disturbance...almost like had been critiquing his style of hat choices. Of course the feeling passed, but it was one that he honestly couldn't shake for a good bit. Hmph...obviously someone has no taste. Whoever the dork is, they'll show themselves soon... "I don't think there's a rule against joining multiple clubs, but then again...I've just started doing any sort of club activity today."
  6. Yuudai sat there listening the next couple of students, Diana and Katsurou, only nodding his head slightly. It seemed most of the classmates he had shared a similar vision on what a hero meant to them...but then there was Kess. "Y'all are talking abut heroes being something to inspire... inspire what? To be like them? Why the hell would I want to be like any of the other heroes... We're here to surpass them, RIGHT? If I inspire anything, it's gonna be fear. Fear in any villain who thinks he's going to get in my way. Who thinks he can get up to any shit while I'm around. Fear in any hero that isn't up to snuff! We're the first in a new wave of heroes. I'm not gonna waste my time admiring any of the old ones. Or any of you. I don't care if any of you hate me, or are scared of me, or think what I'm willing to do to be a hero it wrong. I don't care if the people I SAVE are afraid of me, I'll break every bone in my damn body to fight for them just the same! I'm sick and TIRED of tryin' to follow in any FOOTSTEPS." After saying that last sentence, Kess' eyes were trained right on Yuudai. It was a stinging glare, but from Yuudai...he was giving a similar glare right back at her. It was obvious that this wasn't something that gelled well with him and he was already clenching his fists tightly. To others in the classroom, they could possibly cut the tension with a knife as well as sit back and enjoy the light show. Once she was done, Yuudai's eyes were just trained on her as she made her way back. ...the hell kind of attitude is that? he thought, exhaling sharply as the rest of the students decided to continue and tell the class their answers. Honestly they were all fine answers...it was only Kess'. Well there's always one... "You're all so lame! Although, I was pretty lame when I first started the business." Yuudai blinked a bit, not expecting to hear that pretty much everyone was lame for the answers they gave, buuuuuuut it was alright. It didn't mean they fai- "You. You fail." Spoke too soon... he thought, but saw where this was directed: Kess. Then again, it didn't surprise him. What kind of answer was that? This was a HERO school, not a school for anti-heroes or villains. Still, he grabbed his Algebra book, though he despised this, and tried his best to ignore that. The lessons seemed to drag on forever...right now most of this didn't seem very hero-esque, buuuuut then again...it was still a school. "Oh class~! Before I forget~! Next week we'll be starting your in-field training~! We're short on licensed heroes these days~! Crimes are picking up! So the government is giving us special permission to let you use your powers under adult hero supervision~! We just need a signature from your parents or guardian to let you do so~! In-field training starts next week~! It was nice to meet you Class 1-B~! Have a good day~!" In-Field Training? So soon? Yuudai felt a smile reach across his face. This seemed great! He tossed the paper in his bag and sighed slightly, stretching some as some of his chain-like muscles started moving in the process. Standing up, he made his way to the back of the classroom to where Herc sat...though he was making sure he was avoiding Kess like the plague. "Nice answer you gave out up there, Herc." he said with a smile. "Wouldn't have thought to use 'responsibility' as a reason to be a hero. All in all, not bad."
  7. "Awesome! I don't want to make a scene, so let's take this where people won't bug us." "Yeah that would probably be the better id-" Gavin stopped suddenly as his watch beeped. A message? He quickly opened it and read the exact same message as Aurora. "I have learned you are investigating a police matter. I strongly suggest you cease this at once. This is a matter for the police, not you, and it wouldn't do for you to mess something up in their investigation." Huh...word must travel fast...either that or someone might've squealed. he thought, sighing as he closed out the message at Aurora. However, she seemed like she was fine with this situation now...but was she really? "Express elevator. All aboard." "...you happen to be fine with just rolling over and taking it like this?" Gavin asked bluntly, stepping on the ice platform. "I mean, wasn't this for a friend of yours anyway? I honestly think you have a bit more stake in this situation than Mauvache thinks..." He simply shrugged, sighing again. "Honestly, I think stopping the investigation...or if there even is an investigation...doesn't seem right." "And I did not bring these people here to work with the police. The police have their jobs. And the fighters have theirs. That's how it works. I do not like this idea of my fighters getting wrapped up in this business. However I do thank you for bringing it to my attention. Check." VEX frowned slightly, seeing Mauvache going that route of things. He, however, remained with his composure as blank and digital as he could. "I apologize. But you must understand, the world and universe that Gavin comes from, the local law enforcement didn't seem to take much of anything seriously." he explained, moving a piece on the board, his gaze now looking at Mauvache. "All that will have most likely have done for him, is simply take notice and wonder if law enforcement here is actually taking their job seriously." He paused a moment, before continuing. "I am in no way saying that the law enforcement here within this realm is not doing the job properly, but what I am saying, is that I too am curious by this case...after all, it was an android officer that was struck down. And as an Artificial Intelligence, I feel a bit of obligation to know what happened. Check."
  8. Randy knew his Darkest Lariat would more than likely knock the Darmanitan for a loop...so that was a good thing. But he didn't expect the gijinka to end up having his body envelop in fire as he charged upwards at him. There wasn't any time on this one, as Randy blocked with his arms but was knocked back some by the Darmanitan's fiery strike. It didn't do much...but still... "H-Heh...not a bad strike...but that could've been better." Randy chuckled, glancing over and noticing a sight that actually was making him proud. "How's that for whoops?! Now apologize and leave! Yeah all of you! You better all be sorry or else!" He was still extremely upset at Marie for just rushing into this whole scenario head first, something that he did but was berated for afterwards. However, seeing this side of Marie and seeing how much of the fighting she was already doing...it just made the Incineroar extremely happy and giddy all at the same time. "Marie! Don't let them scare ya! You're doing a hell of a job!!" Randy laughed, giving her a smile and a thumbs up. "I'm really proud!!" With that out of the way, he turned back to the Darmanitan and rushed towards him again, this time giving him a combination move of Brick Break and Acrobatics. This should've definitely done it by now. But then again...something else came to his mind... "...OI!!! Trevor! Shouldn't you be at least looking for the kids??" he shouted back at the Flygon. "You saw who popped his head out of the volcano, so...GET TO LOOKIN'!!"
  9. "You talk a lot. I don't think there's any rules against it. I didn't really read the notes though so just keep out of the way and don't let anything fall on you. Pieces fall off. From that height could cause damage. Losing a student this early would be a new record." "Heh, I'll keep that in mind, miss." Chase gave a small smile with a nod, taking notice to her looking at his mech. "Balance is off. Need to distribute the weight better. I have to figure out the toaster problem." The balance? Chase glanced back at the Aegis Weiss and rubbed his chin slightly. Hmmm...the balance is off, she says. May have to see if I can bring that up to the maintenance crew and try and work with them to see if we can distribute the weight better. he thought, before turning around, seeing the girl pacing again. "I'll take that into consideration." Without another word, Chase opened his notebook again and took his pencil, making a note about the Aegis Weiss and it's potential imbalance. "There is a storm of shooting stars attacking us. I will seek for seclusion inside my mech. I recommend to be the same as safety me." Another player had entered the scene as Chase was pulled from making his note, noticing an unusual girl speaking to the young woman he just was speaking to. From the sounds of it, she was a little antsy on the fact that there was a small asteroid storm striking at the ship. Nothing too much to freak out about, but still, he could understand the reasoning for her fear...least to an extent. With a sigh, Chase closed his notebook again and made himself heard, making his way towards the new girl while the young woman was pacing again. "It's just a few small asteroids, like she said. Shouldn't be too much of a problem or worry. Plus, I'm fairly certain the pilots of this ship can navigate through something like this, after all...they should be experts on this." He extended a hand with a small smile. "Chase Weller."
  10. "Oh dear, oh dear~!Let's settle down now everyone~! Let's all get in our seats~.Good Morning, everyone~! My name is Ms. Hitotsume~! It's a pleasure to meet you all~! Let's have a good year of learning~!My, my~...we sure do have a cavalcade of characters here...haha...E-e-excuse me young man...but could you please take that off. You must be a foreigner, but I find your lack of respect for our schools rules to beeee~...MOST DISDAINFUL! I can't believe I took this job...Now, what was I missing~?Ah yes~! Your homework assignment from Sharp Shogun~!! Please come up in any order, and give me your answer~!! And make sure it's a good one~~!" Enter the teacher to keep a huge fight from breaking out between the bancho girl and the girl who seemed to have a fiery personality. Nevertheless, the class was beginning for the most part with the different students giving their answers to Sharp Shogun's assignment. "I'll go first. Hello class. My name is Itou Yuuka. A pleasure to formally meet you all. As for what it means to be a hero. Well, there's a lot to it, but if I had to put it down into one word, it'd be instinct. I believe that being a hero is about not only being able to know what the right thing to do is, but acting on it the moment you realize what that is. At least, that's the base requirement of being a hero." "Hello, I'm Herc Coleo... Wait, or is it Coleo Herc? Japanese people do family names first, right? So Coleo Herc, yeah, yeah, that. That ain't the important thing. The important thing is 'What does it mean to you, to be a hero?'. I'm gonna be honest, I'm not 100 percent sure on what it means to be a hero, but, I know why I wanna be a hero, and well, that's the root of what it means to be one. It's almost like... a responsibility, I suppose. When you can do the things we can, and you don't... well... when the bad things happen... then they happened because of you. I guess when it comes down to it, what being hero is to me is a responsibility to use my power to help others," "Hello, everyone. My name is Lesnar Claypool... or at least in America it is. I guess here it'd be... Claypool Lesnar? Anyway, to be a hero... being a hero, at least to me, is about the initiative. A hero stands out for their initiative to act for selfless reasons. In other words, they never hesitate to go out of their way to protect those who need it, regardless of who they are or who they're helping. It's a pleasure to meet you all." "Pleased to meet all of you. I'm Himura Hibiki! To me, being a hero is like, doing whatever you can to make the world a better place. Stopping bad guys, helping good guys that need it, and giving to your community and stuff. I've looked up to heroes ever since I met one as a little girl, so I always thought they're supposed to be these amazing people you'd want to look up to. Even if it's just by doing something small, being a hero means you should strive to make the world more peaceful. That's what I think anyway." "You might know by now but I'm Valerie Clark! A hero does everything they can to protect those who can't protect themselves. They fight past their own limits, work harder than anyone else, and never surrender in the face of evil. Being a hero isn't a choice or a goal. It's just what you are. Being a hero means putting the protection of innocents and the defeat of those who'd harm them before anything else. Being a hero means dedicating yourself to never letting evil win! And I'm going to be the best hero there ever was!" "Yo. My name's Yoshino Misu. Call me whatever you'd like. But don't go makin' any dumb ideas. What being a hero means to me, huh? Being a hero, to me, means being someone that someone else looks up to...Quirk or Quirkless. I mean...you can't disappoint the people who put so much faith in you, right? Anyone who tells you differently ain't got enough guts. And if there's one thing heroes are about, it's guts." The various answers from Yuuka, Herc, Lesnar, Hibiki, and Valerie were definitely good, well to Yuudai anyway. For some this was a responsibility, a duty. For others it was a way to give back to the community. He could understand their reasons to a strong degree. But he had his own answer...one he really knew was what being a hero meant to him. And oddly enough...the bancho Misu, had a similar thought process about it. Once Valerie took a seat, Yuudai stood up and made his stride towards the front of the class. Alright...just give your answer, Shiba... he took a deep breath, exhaling slightly as he turned on his heel and faced the class. "Good morning. I'm Shiba Yuudai." Yuudai began, before taking another breath. "What it means to be a hero, to me...honestly that's one question I didn't have to think too hard on. To me, being a hero means to be someone's inspiration. It may sound weird, but think about it this way, the heroes you saw on TV when you were younger..." he paused, his mind went back to seeing that interview special on TV as a child of that speedy hero. "...you were aspiring to be just as cool...if not cooler than they were. The heroes spark a bit of a fire in everyone who sees them. That spark of inspiration slowly grows and sooner or later it'll erupt into an individual's life...and heck, it might just bring them to where we are now." Yuudai rubbed the back of his neck slightly, chuckling. "Honestly, the type of hero that can just inspire others to follow in their footsteps...that's something that I honestly think defines a hero to me." He gave a small nod and smile, before returning to his seat, satisfied with giving his answer.
  11. "Oh, so some sort of club for entertainment dueling? I'd love to join your club Mr. Ri- I mean Souji! Oh, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Hoshiko. Saki Hoshiko. Wait, so you said you needed two other duelists right? So that means... we need to recruit someone else! Unless you already had someone in mind." Souji smirked and his hand met Hoshiko's. This was basically a done deal at this point, that was one Duelist down. This meant that only one Duelist remained, and most likely, his roommate would be able to get one roped in. "As for the moment, I personally don't have another person in mind to recruit. Right now, I was doing my best to get to you before anything else. My roommate should be able to rope someone else i-" "Hi! I'm Rose, nice to- I mean, I'm Yusuji, and- and-Can I just say what you did last time with that spooky ghost whats-his-face duelist when you used your Winda and Construct dodge around his super spammy-ness, also that duel where you used all of your Fusions to defeat your opponent with a rainbow assault was so fun to watch, and...I'm just so glad I finally get to meet you!" ...oh goddamnit... he cringed slightly, slowly hiding his face behind his fedora slightly. It was Yusuji and she was going in an all out fan-girl mode at seeing Hoshiko...rather, Rose. Well, hopefully she wasn't being too loud. Otherwise there would most likely be a huge out pouring of students walking and running in to get autographs and photos. "Reeeeeaaaaaaaal smooth there, Yusuji..."
  12. "Doesn't have enough acceleration. Where can I transfer the energy to get more. Suppose don't need that many escape pods. But then how to connect..." "Hm?" Chase perked up slightly, hearing someone speak as now he saw a girl lost in her thoughts...and by lost in her thoughts... "Toaster still can't toast rye bread. Why just rye? What's in rye bread? I need to examine some rye bread." She was DEFINITELY lost in her thoughts. However, Chase just sat where he was as the girl finally caught notice of him...then again, it wasn't like he was actually trying hard to not be noticed to begin with. After all, it would be sort of difficult to miss the orange hair like that...oh well. "I suppose a thousand meter tall mech is impractical after all...hm? Where did you come from? I didn't get told I'd have an assistant. No. Not an assistant. Who are you?" "Assistant? Heh, well I'd love to be called that, buuuuuuuuuut that's unfortunately not the case." Chase chuckled, standing up as he tossed his jacket back on, putting his notebook under his arm before extending a hand towards the young girl. "Apologies. I'm Chase Weller, a student...well, future student, of MechA cademy. Annnnnd general lover of mechs." he said, as he looked a bit more around while speaking. "Sorry if I'm not allowed back in here, just really couldn't help myself, cause I really wanted a good look at the other mechs and ya know, observe them. Since I've been told to only get close to my own mech." He pointed a thumb towards the Aegis Weiss.
  13. "Beat it, twerp. I'm not here to make friends. If you don't remember my name, I'm gonna send you flyin'...If you ain't got the courtesy to remember mine, I ain't gonna remember yours." Ray of sunshine...wonderful. Makes it seem like she's an angsty girl...well things can't get too much w- "What the hell is this reject gallery?" Yuudai winced slightly, turning his gaze towards the door and saw the red-haired girl from the other day. His face met his palm almost immediately, regretting the fact of the thought he was previously thinking before she walked in. Regardless, he did his best not to acknowledge her, especially after the fact that she seemed to be pretty cross with hi- THWACK! The young man felt something basically hit the back of his head, as it slightly caused him to knock his face into his desk. "...OW!!" he grumbled, raising his head, rubbing the back of it only to look down and see a rock by his desk. And the person who threw it... "I brought that in from outside JUST IN CASE... FUCKER! You better have a good reason to be here when the teacher asks, What's-Your-Name... Else I'll kick you out the goddamn window. Have your head find another rock outside." "Sheesh...you DID forget that you happened to be the one who attacked me, right?" he grumbled, shaking his head. "And it's not 'What's-Your-Name'. It's Shiba Yuudai." Yuudai kept rubbing the back of his head, turning his head to stop facing Firecracker. Sheesh...so we get the Ray of Sunshine bancho and Firecracker...between the two, I think Napalm would've been better.
  14. Rollin' Around at the Speed of Sound Bark at the Moon
  15. Students kept coming into the classroom, no Napalm though, so that was a good thing. And another that came waltzing in...well, it might've been considered waltzing in anyway, a certain beetle...er...bee? A beetle in a bee suit! Surprising him greatly, Yuudai saw that he was in the same class as Herc, which definitely made things better now. "Yo, Yuudai, what's up bro? So we share a class. Awesome. Let's hope we get some more epic team ups." "Hell yeah man!" he chuckled, bumping fists with Herc. "And with me back at full strength, we'd definitely get better team ups." Yuudai had a smile now, seeing that a guy he considered a friend was in the class. He watched the beetle moonwalk away from a white haired guy after presenting him with a thing of cereal. Which was a little odd...but then again, that was probably a bet he made with the guy...but who knows. At the same time, as he leaned back in his chair, he tossed his hands behind his head and began to think of something. Possible team up moves with the beetle... Hmmm...oooooh, maybe go with a Fastball special! he thought, snickering to himself with a wide grin. I've been really wanting to do that! And out of everyone, he definitely seems like the one who could definitely work out best for that!
  16. Rec room... Kitchen... The bunk rooms... He could've gone anywhere, anywhere at all in this ship. But still, he found himself enjoying another day in the ship's hangar, where all the mechs were. And once again, Chase Weller found himself slumped against a cargo box that was placed to the side of a mech known as the Aegis Weiß Mk XI. Of course, this ship had rules about not being allowed anywhere near any other mech that wasn't their own...so...he had to find a work around on this...namely: sitting beside his own mech and observing the other mechs from afar. At the moment, Chase was staring down one particular mech. The design of it was...almost too much for him to comprehend. "Jeez, that design is fierce looking." he said, the eraser end of his pencil tapping at his opened notebook slightly. "Haven't seen a design with anything like that claw...it's pretty interesting. Strange that you would only have them on one hand. Honestly, would've thought that having them on both hands would've been good...then again, the designer might've had a reason." Spinning the pencil in his hand slightly, Chase began to write down some extensive notes from his observation on this mech that was known as: Zu'ul-pa-tok. Single clawed hand...most likely for tearing a mech asunder...reason for only one claw...? He shrugged, putting a few more question marks after that last sentence, before making another notice at something else it had...shoulder tentacles. Shoulder tentacles...okay that's actually interesting. Thooooough, not sure how practical those could be. Honestly at this point it makes me think of that scarf design a buddy of mine showed on one mech...that was terrible. Eh, I'll save judgement on that though. Shoulder tentacles - Verdict: Undecided. With a sigh, Chase began to stretch slightly before closing the notebook and running his hand through his hair slightly. "Yeah, it's obvious that thing is of another world and culture. Heh, no way something that fierce looking could've been designed by my type of people...man, I need to pick the brain of the pilot who has that mech."
  17. "It seemed like a pretty normal place to me." "Guess it was because you were used to it...that it became a sort of norm' for you." Gavin shrugged, smiling slightly. "Now me there? I'd say that'd be ten times different...I'd be like a kid in a candy store!" "I could show you some stuff I learned in hero school if you want in the meantime, if you show me what those gadgets do. They're really cool, and I might be able to bring the ideas back to my world for support items!" Now this idea intrigued the young man. He slow rubbed his chin and thought about this. She show him a thing or two about what she learned in Hero School and he show her the wonders of his universe. At this point there was really no need to say anything else. "Alright, Snow Angel, I'm in. I'd be delighted to show you a thing or two about what my universe and world have at our disposal." "Colarata is a small fry. His business would have gone under long ago without donations from that Silver. I have no real need to know about them, they're of little consequence to me. And I'm not sure I like the idea of my fighters doing some kind of vigilante investigation. In fact I believe I had to tell some of them before to stay out of trouble. Perhaps I have to be more...strict." VEX took another white pawn and moved it as well. "I would not believe it would be classified as vigilante investigation. Quite the contrary, I believe it would most likely be qualified as assisting the law enforcement. After all, not everyone may have quite the strength others do, especially in the force."
  18. "Don't eat him." This...came out of the blue for Jet. He was simply spectating the Duel between Zirco and Leiko...and then this girl, Hotaru, if he remembered correctly...just randomly said WHILE standing near him not to eat him. He stared at the girl for a moment, gulping slightly as he slowly looked away. "O-Okay..." he cleared his throat, before returning to watch the Duel...and at this moment, it got even better. Especially at this moment, when Leiko seemed to actually play and get things going with her T.G's. But it was her next turn that actually got Jet, along with everyone else, to be completely silent. “Clear Mind!” “I’m tuning my Level 5 Synchro Monster, Hyper Librarian, to my Level 5 Synchro Tuner, Wonder Magician! Limiter Removal, level 10! Power Constraints, Release! All Clear! Infinite possibility be channeled, Lightning road, break through the impossible! ACCEL SYNCHRO!” P-People can actually do that...?! Jet thought, watching the screen even more intently now. He remembered Akihiro telling him about this "Accel Synchro" method of the Synchro Summoning. Hell! He heard about the stories...who hadn't? The method of Synchro that could also be construed as just just myth...but right now he was watching this before him. ...she...she could do that...t-that's...that's amazing... At the same time though, now he definitely knew he didn't want to ever have to face Leiko. Not if she had THIS type of ability.
  19. O.O One of my favorite Ground-Types!!! YAAAAAAAY!! X3
  20. Interest noting, saving post for app, whatever else.
  21. "Hey, good teamwork, good teamwork. We should do this again sometime." "Heh...oh yeah." Yuudai chuckled lightly, giving Herc a thumbs up after bumping his fist with the beetle's. "You and me seem to work well together...so that's a definite yeah we'll do this again sometime." Yuudai let Herc do what he was doing, as he just sluggishly got up to plenty of the other students as they were just standing there. Though at the moment, one definitely caught his eye: it was Napalm. Well, looks like that kid made it as well... he thought, leaning up against a tree for support. Hopefully I don't have to deal with that kid too much this year. ...especially after that incident in that lab...and I'm not seeing the headmaster, so I may have to tell him about that whole situation a bit later. "AND YOU'RE NEXT, PUNK!" He glanced over at who was yelling at him, and lo-and-behold, there was the red-haired woman again. Yuudai gave only a smile and a wave. "Oh cool, you made it too. Means I'll be able to pay you back for that little sneak attack." he chuckled, as he noticed Napalm looking at him as he gave another wave. "Heh, couldn't get rid of me that easily, Napalm." "Alright everyone, let's calm down now. The test has now concluded. No more fighting unless instructed, 'kay? Now that you're all here, you've passed the U.A. entrance exam, and as such will be enrolled into the first official hero course. However, if we sense that you will be even the slightest threat to the government, or people of Japan, we will kick you out no questions asked. This means that your first assignment will be to answer my one question here, when you come back for class. What does it mean to you, to be a hero? I would like to be the first to welcome you to our school, U.A! Allow me to introduce myself. I am the Edge Hero, Sharp Shogun! I'll be the head teacher for 1-A's class, so those of you all who end up there, I'll see you on Monday! To the others, dwell on that question, and give your teacher a fine response...or they'll kick you out for good." Yuudai nodded, having been dismissed as he took a deep breath and started making his way back home. He was extremely excited now. He was accepted into U.A, he got to be friends...that was the word for it...with Herc, and also saw something strange...though that's what kept his thoughts fixed though. The creature was still on his mind. What was it? What was it's purpose? And was it even real? Monday morning...it was finally time. Yuudai looked himself over in the mirror in his room, as he fixed his uniform's tie. "Surprisingly, this doesn't look half bad on me." he chuckled, as he grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. With a quick good-bye to his parents, he made his way outside and started his commute to U.A. Alright, lets see...I'm being put in...Class 1-B. Hmm, might be interesting. Hopefully Herc is in this class...oooooooooor anyone except the firecracker or Napalm. he thought, shrugging putting his syllabus back in his pocket. Making his way into U.A., he asked some of the staff to assist in helping him with finding 1-B. With enough help, the classroom was found and Yuudai strolled in. He noticed that there was already one student in...annnnnnd he immediately recognized her as the young girl in the high school Bancho outfit. ...oh goodie...okay, just relax Shiba...just relax. he thought, making his way towards a seat, before giving a quick wave to the young girl. "Morning. Guess we're gonna be classmates here in 1-B. Shiba Yuudai."
  22. This seemed to be getting out of hand fast. Right now the Darmanitan seemed to be getting impatient with the fight with Randy...though the Incineroar didn't know why. In all honesty, he was having a blast. Nevertheless, the Darmanitan apparently was now putting some Superpower into his arms, swinging them downward towards him. S-Shit! Randy dodged to his left, skidding some as he glanced over at the Darmanitan. Hmph...that definitely was an attempt at a finishing blow. he thought, keeping his eyes fixated on the Darmanitan. However, he glanced at the others and saw they...well, everyone except Nani, was having much more of a hard time. Keanu still had to deal with a Camerupt, but was now having a Gurdurr swinging at him. His fists clenched tightly. Then his eyes were stuck on Marie now being forced to fight the Manectric. Again, his fists tightened even more. I need to kick his tail...but I gotta deal with this big ape first. Randy was about to stand back up from his crouched position, but stopped suddenly at hearing a loud booming roar emerging from the volcano. "Fiiiight meeeeee!" There the Incineroar saw the source of the roar...a man...with a hand on the edge of the volcano. A safe bet: it was Heatran. A smirk began to creep upon his face at seeing the figure. Of course, the gijinka was pretty high up, so shouting back at the Legend that he was challenging him wasn't going to happen. Still...maybe he could cause a scene and get Heatran's attention that way. Randy's gaze went from the volcano back towards the Darmanitan, his smirk still there as he cracked his neck slightly. "Alright, ke kani. You wanna go all out, then let's go all out. After all...I got an audience now. And this might be the one way I can get a chance to fight him." he said, motioning his head towards the volcano. Taking a deep breath, he slammed his fists together, as a dark energy began to engulf his fists and then his arms. BGM "Heh...these fists of mine overflow with a powerful DARKNESS!!" he said, beginning to roar. Shifting his standing position into a rushing stance, he growled and continued. "Their deathly glow tell me to grasp victory!!! HERE I GO!!!" With another roar, the Incineroar rushed towards the Darmanitan, before leaping into the air and spinning to strike at the Fire-Type. "DARKEST....LARIAT!!!" Randy roared, bringing his right arm and fist down, then continuing his momentum and bringing his left arm and fist down, both striking down at the Darmanitan. If this didn't at least knock him for a loop to where he couldn't fight, then maybe it would disorient him long enough to finish the job.
