  1. I meeeeeeeeaaaaaaan, either or my dude ;D But still, favorite Bug-type. I thank ye!
  2. To call what occurred after the red-haired girl appeared as a free-for-all would be one way of putting it. Yuudai was still slightly sitting up, trying to give his muscles time to rest due to the strain being real right now. All the while, he watched how people practically dog-piled the red-headed girl before she basically bowed out and left. Most likely, probably for the best. ...especially after that huge brawl that just broke out. "There you go, partner. When you get enough medals, let me know and I'll get us outta here." Yuudai was surprised by the quick and kind gesture of the Beetle, who threw him a badge. Yuudai Badge Count: 4 "T-This moment...it's just one more..." he chuckled, grunting slightly as he did his best to stand up, though he felt himself being really sore at the moment. He glanced at the knocked out students, and then over at the corner of the street they were on. His eyes fixated on a trashcan, an odd thing to focus on...but he caught a slight glint inside it. ...low hanging fruit, possibly...but if this gives me number 5, then we're good. Yuudai thought, shaking his head slightly as he slowly made his way towards the trashcan and began to rummage through it. Old cans, pens, the occasional banana peel...nooooot what he was looking for. Then his hand began to run across a familiar feeling. "Bingo..." he said, slowly pulling out a badge and immediately put it with the rest. Yuudai Badge Count: 5 "Herc! I got my five! L-Let's get the hell outta dodge!" he chuckled, making his way slowly back towards Herc.
  3. "Am I? Funny, I've been told the opposite. I was just over here watching this duel and-...well, I was watching the duel, anyways. So... since you were looking for little old me and all, there must be something you want. Don't worry, I don't charge for autographs~!" "Souji." he said, tipping his hat slightly. "Kazuraba Souji. As for what I was needing from you...well, let's say I have a proposition for you." Souji turned to look at the idol with a smirk. "After our Duel, I definitely took notice on the fact that your Dueling style was pretty interesting. And it's not the fact of you just being an idol. There's something else about it...you do what you can to get the audience involved and pumped." He paused and shook his head. "Hell, even your Field Spell was helping in that way. Was it eerie? Yes, yes it was. But it was effective nevertheless. But, anyway, I'm rambling. Listen, the proposition I have for you is this: join my club." Souji held up a hand, prepared to stop the idol if she tried to protest. "Let me finish. It's a new club that will be starting as of today, provided I get two more members. I have myself and my roommate already down for this club, but I need two more. I need two Duelists and individuals who can take to a Duel Space field, utilize it for their own styles, and while having the time of their lives...also entertain the masses." Souji paused again and glanced at Jun and those from the Duel Team, before glancing back at Rose. "I've been here a while, and I respect Hitomu's Duel Team, but his Dueling style and mine don't tend to meet eye to eye. For that reason, I want to display my own Dueling style, the one you saw when we Dueled, and I want to show him that my style is just as effective as his. And let's be honest...everybody tries to go and join the Duel Team. Why be ordinary when you could just join something new straight out the gate?"
  4. "HaHA! I like your attitude kiddo you're going places! But if you're gonna attack you better make it count!" "Looks like we got a party." "Let's test out the new blood!" It happened quite fast, Randy didn't know what happened. He watched Marie get attacked by the Manectric, who shot a Thunderbolt at her, then her getting attacked by a Rhyhorn. The Rhyhorn shouldn't be too much of an issue for her... he thought, his golden feral eyes fixating on the Manectric after the Darmanitan punched his side. That one there...time to put a dog down. With another glare at the Manectric, he started making his way towards the Electric-type....buuuuuuut he ended up getting stopped by the Darmanitan. "Move...now." Randy gave a slight growl towards the Fire-type. "That mutt's gettin' his tail kicked..." But it was to no avail. The Darmanitan only laughed and started swinging another punch at the Incineroar. Randy only had enough time to dodge it, bringing his arms to block it as he was knocked back a bit. Lowering his arms, he looked at the Fire-type. Big mistake on his part. "...well, since Marie basically threw us in the fire this time...guess I'm fine with knocking some blocks off." Randy growled, cracking his neck slightly and rushing towards the Darmanitan, who tried to take another swing at him, but with a quick maneuver with a well placed Acrobatics, he leaped over the hulking Gijinka and delivered a firm kick right square in his back. "After all...this may actually be a nice warm-up before I challenge Heatran!" he chuckled, watching the Darmanitan turn back around and rush towards him, as now both Fire-types were just throwing punches at one another.
  5. "I was training to be a superhero." "A superhero? Huh...that ain't bad." Gavin chuckled, giving a quick smile. "Definitely shows with what you displayed during out bout. Still, guess your world was pretty interesting if that's the case." "Letting VEX do some of the research is a good plan, but we shouldn't rely entirely on him. We should at least go there ourselves later and ask around, even if it isn't about the stuff we're actually investigating." He nodded at that idea, having a solemn look on his face, mulling the idea over in his mind a bit as he tilted his head back and forth. "Okay yeah, I'm down with that. Besides, you are right. Can't just rely on my buddy. Let's just hope this actually turns out better than our trip to that bar and trying to get an idea about the problem." "My, my, what an odd request. The events have a cost because they are meant to be an incentive. Fight well and gain access to new and exciting challenges and a chance to earn more rewards than the points you put into it. If I let someone do one early it would throw off the whole system. It would be like giving away free points if they win and that is not something I will do. Do not waste my time asking for favors without anything to give in return." "Perish the thought, my esteemed host." VEX said, not deterred by Mauvache's low tone at the last sentence. "That was only just a simple inquiry. After all, I was simply attempting to surprise my partner. But if this is out of the question, then allow us to move along from this topic." At this point, he swiped his hand slightly and had a virtual chessboard appear between him and Mauvache. "Perhaps a game of chess for the moment as I speak on a different matter?" VEX continued, as he put his hands behind him. "I request knowledge, but alas, I wish not to impose in picking your brain, Mauvache. After all, that would be uncouth of me. Rather, I request some assistance in a case that Gavin and myself have taken up in order to assist a fellow Fighter: Ms. Burns." He had the white pawn slightly move, starting the chess game as he continued. "You see, for all my searching, I cannot find specifics regarding Mr. Colarata, the esteemed owner of the casino here in Rama-Indri, nor his apparent business partner he bought it from. An individual by the codename of 'Silver'. Could there be a specific direction you may be able to point me? Of course, I would be happy to assist in providing anything for you, if it's within my ability."
  6. What got me into Shonen? I would assume that you mean Shonen anime. Well, let's be honest. I got introduced to Shonen anime and anime in general thanks to my uncle (back when he was the coolest uncle ever, which was before he was married). He got me into watching Toonami with him a few times on Saturday evenings. So naturally, I watched the classics: Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Voltron, etc. Stuff like that actually got me into enjoying and appreciating anime, though at that moment when I was young, I just thought they were normal cartoons. Regardless, once I kept watching, I started just enjoying not only the action scenes but the characters. I mostly was able to imagine myself as some characters (excluding Sailor Moon, cause Tuxedo Mask was the only dude in that series) and it was fun. I guess in part of envisioning myself as some of these characters, I was able to project myself into that slate almost. Guess that's what really got me into Shonen anime as well as just Shonen in general...cause most of the things the main characters had in regards to values were something I could relate to. Protecting friends and family? Wanting to find a way to be the top dog? Being chosen for something? These were all things I had in my mind when I was young...and I guess most of that just transferred over as I grew up.
  7. No...please...we all know what Pot of Greed does! It's the same thing as King Crimson!!
  8. After what seemed to be forever in the headmaster's office...basically going back and forth between this conversation, Souji was able to finally get the headmaster's blessing on two conditions. First: Souji and Sai would need to get four members for this club, themselves included. So if anything, two more members to be recognized as a club. Second: ....he would have to write a three page essay on the Ethics of Duel Monsters. It was a suggestion that he himself threw out there, just really wanting to get his foot in the door...and that was the last thing he could offer. Still hate that I opened my dumbass mouth about that... he cursed, shaking his head. Nevertheless, he was here now...and here being on the club sign up floor. Souji looked over at Sai and pointed. "Alright, Sai my man, we're on the clock. We have until the end of the day to get a total of four members for this club. I've already got one in mind...so your going to be scouting for other possibilities!" he said, smirking. "Plus, this'll help your people's skills. If you see potential, stop 'em, talk to them and then shoot me a text. I'll take over from there." With that, Souji gave Sai a salute and departed to try and find the one prospect of a member to join: the idol, Rose. Problem is, he didn't exactly know what the girl looked like. He wasn't 100% sure if she was wearing a wig or using some sort of dye for her hair or what. Then again, he knew her face...and if anything, he'd just have to look for that face. It was hard to miss a beautiful face... Souji paused as he shook his head at that prospect, now was the time for business, not trying to get a possible girlfriend. Dude had to get it together! Out of the corner of his eye, he caught the last little bit of a Duel, and it seemed to be Jun versus some other kid at the Duel Team booth. As he rode that off as just nothing, he was about to continue forward but stopped suddenly, when he saw a familiar face AND hair. There Souji saw the idol over to the side of the Duel Team booth, apparently watching the Duel. Bingo! Alright Souji...time to get the idol. he thought, smirking slightly as he made his stride over towards Rose and stood beside her, his hands in his pockets. "Well, I have to say...you are definitely hard to find, miss Rose." he said with a slight chuckle, giving the idol a side glance. He only dropped the 'miss Rose', just to let her know who was talking to her.
  9. "It doesn't sound like we know anything about this Silver guy, but we do know who Colarata bought the casino from, right? Some more research on that guy would maybe be a good start. As much as I'd like to ask Colarata about the mob boss and Silver face-to-face, that might not fly over so well. At least at the start, we should try to keep it subtle." Gavin nodded at Aurora's thoughts. She wasn't wrong, and from the sounds of it VEX was running more searches for any information regarding either individual, so it hopefully it wouldn't take too long for that to possibly work itself out. "Yeah, sounds like you got this thought out then, Snow Angel." he shrugged with a stern nod. "Keeping it subtle would most likely be the best option for this operation. Plus, VEX is still working on finding anything else on those two individuals in any shape or form. So if anything, we can also give it enough time and he'll find something out. Heh, he's pretty reliable with things like that." He tried his hardest not to pat himself on the back for that, but he couldn't help it...he did create the A.I. Granted, it was on accident, but still, it counted. Meanwhile, the moment Mauvache sent the message to VEX, the A.I. immediately made his presence known, giving a courteous bow to the gracious host. "Thank you for allowing me the chance for us to speak, Mauvache." VEX spoke, now standing upright with his hands behind his back. "I must say, this world you have whisked myself and Gavin to is quite intriguing indeed. A bit of everything from different parts of the...I believe the word you used was the 'multiverse', correct? Regardless, I have come to ask for some assistance on a few things. Firstly, there is a challenge I believe that is suited for Gavin, but alas, his points are not the correct amount. Is there a way to fix that, or to possibly let him prove himself before tossing him at this challenge?" He wanted to go for one situation at a time, but right now, this is what he wanted to start off with.
  10. "Well, don't go getting in over your head, ya hear? You jump in too far, then we gon' have to fish you out," "Well, I guess it's fine. I don't really approve of a challenge like this, but as long as you aren't picking fights with any random person, I won't stop you. Unless of course it's too dangerous. Then I will drag you away by the ear if I have to." Randy rolled his eyes a bit, shaking his head some. "Thanks for the vote of confidence you two." he chuckled lightly, while listening to Trevor speak in response to the others. "They don't go as far as she does. T-Then again Allie never bothered trying to fight Heatran. B-but those two are o-obsessed with the idea. E-even if they're only ten...." This here intrigued the Incineroar as well as confuse him. She ignored Heatran and just went off and later on, when they met her, ended up going after Moltres? Why? There had to be a possible reason. "Wait, Allie didn't go toe to toe with Heatran? Huh...wonder why." Randy muttered. "Yet she went after Moltres...it's odd. Ignore one Fire-type for another." "W-what do you mean?" "Eh, we happened to run into Allie in...Northshore?" he paused for a moment, trying to remember if that was the location. "Yeah that's the place. We ran into her after seeing Moltres. They apparently were fighting." Trevor's eyes flicked back and forth and it seemed he was thinking about things. "I see. Was she....healthy?" "Allie or Moltres?" Randy asked, raising an eyebrow at Trevor's question. "Eh, either way. They both seemd healthy enough...though Allie put us through the wringer." The Flygon could only nod, seemingly in deep thought. Though the Incineroar didn't pay much mind to it. At the same time, it didn't seem like he had much time to pay mind to it, especially with them walking into Trailsau and it seeming like sparks and flames flying all over the place, with a Manectric standing over top of some unconscious bodies and just firing electricity at some Fire-types, while a Fearow flew overhead towards the Manectric. "Huh, seems like most of this is Fire vs. Thunder. How come?" he asked, clearing his throat. Trevor shrugged. "Solidarity." He didn't seem concerned, however, which was odd given his previous behavior but likely due to being distracted by his own thoughts. "Eh, doesn't explain too much..." he sighed, taking a bit of a notice of Trevor's current odd behavior...well, odder than a few moments ago. "Oi! You dazin' there?" He simply waved Randy off, furrowing his brow and muttering to himself. Tch...yeah whatever. Randy rolled his eyes, not really sure what was going on with this kid now. At the moment, however, he had bigger fish to fry. Especially with seeing a certain Brionne firing off an attack at the Manectric. His eyes just widened as large as dinner plates. "fine! If it's the only way to teach you manners!" "M-MARIE!!" the Incineroar shouted, moving up towards the Brionne, now standing at her side, giving the young girl the side eye. "And you get upset with me when I pick fights? Sheesh...talk about the pot callin' the kettle black." He was now weary, keeping his gaze at the Manectric, getting himself ready to counter what he had. Though deep down, he wasn't sure if he was proud of the Brionne for just doing this, or extremely worried about her well being at this point.
  11. Gundam Build Fighters: Final Generation Morning slowly drug over the horizon, the sunlight reaching over the campus of Tomino High School, as it was slowly stirring to life with students making their way to the campus. They all had their specific classes they needed to attend, but for a few students...what they had in their minds was one thing: the Tomino High Gunpla Club. That was what they were going to be doing right now...and they had quite the interesting day planned ahead. OP "So, that's currently will be happening today, guys." the young man spoke, standing in front of the club room. "We'll be accepting a few new applicants into the fold of the Gunpla club. Heh, after all, with quite a few already moving on and graduated, gotta fill in the ranks somehow." "I meeeeean...do we really need to have anymore then the ones already here, captain?" The young man sighed, his eyes glancing over at a red haired teen. "Yes Shun. Unfortunately, not all of us are going to be able to stay here and play Gunpla Battles like we want. The school would definitely a little upset by that." Shun shrugged, tossing his hands behind his head. "...I guess your right. Sorry Tatsu." "It's alright. Now, what that means from the rest of you." Tatsu continued, looking at the pink haired young man, a brown haired young woman, and a blond haired young woman. "Be ready to greet and also...be ready to test them. After all, we wouldn't be a Gunpla Club if we didn't toss out a challenge to our newbies. That said, any questions?" Of course, with this news of new slots being available for the Tomino High Gunpla Club being open, the school was in a buzz with excitement. Sure, with most being more or less dedicated to other things than joining and being apart of the Gunpla Battles, it still was an amazing thought that now the Gunpla Club was in the process of filling in the holes left by others leaving the club. With flyers showing the location of the club room, it wouldn't take anyone in the school very long to find out where they were...especially if they were serious enough to join in. OOC
  12. Zeta and Rep are accepted... Things will be rolling on in now...
  13. "So Herc, what areas around here have you currently scoured?" Yuudai asked the beetle man, blissfully unaware of the impending danger that was to befall him in just a few short moments. "I got about to the one crosswalk and down that alley back there...other than that, nothing huge on my e-" "Nothing personal, kid," Yuudai was more or less caught off-guard at the moment by this red-haired woman just appearing out of nowhere in a flash, crashing on the car. His eyes drifted towards her, and he felt like he was caught in slow motion as she said this and immediately started swinging her leg. In an instant, he barely had enough time to block, but he was kicked and knocked back a ways. "N-Ngh!!! W-What the hell...?!" he shouted, being knocked back and trying his best to get his muscles to grip and slow him from being sent too far away. Unfortunately, he started feeling the straining in his muscles again, which more or less caused him finally to fall over a bit. "T-Tch...f-figures..." he grumbled, sitting up slightly and looking at the red-haired woman who was still on the roof of the car. "N-Not cool...not cool at all!"
  14. 13 is my favorite number. Now I'm noting interest in this, mind you. I'm unsure if I'll join, but I'm noting interest nonetheless.
  15. The start of his new life...in an old prison...stuck with bunking with some weird guy that wants to be called Mr. E. Fantastic... No this was definitely everything he wanted in a new life away from Dr. Akihiro and the rest of the Turbo City branch of Kaibacorp... "Bad luck, my friend." "N-No...more like my everyday luck..." Jet muttered under his breath, sighing as he took his bags and put them in the room. This day couldn't get any worse...that's what he wanted to say, but decided against it. After all, there were PLENTY of things that could go wrong. After putting his stuff away, he headed back towards the garage. From what Gil said, he could definitely go for a ride on his D-Wheel when he could, since they didn't mind. However, he wasn't expecting as many people in there, though they were all having their eyes glued to a TV screen and from what he saw...it was Zirco and Leiko Dueling. A-Already...? he thought, moving towards the group but remained in the back. ...people are already...D-Dueling around here...? J-Jeez, I would've at least expected them to w-wait a bit more... "Rush Rhino can boost it's attack power by 400 when it attacks. The boost only lasts for this turn. I set 2 cards and end my turn!" From the looks of it, it was X-Sabers and T.G. clashing against each other. Jet had heard about how each archetype played, but never saw them out in the open like this. In moment like this, words from Akihiro would only come to his remembrance: Keep a steady eye on your surroundings, but especially on a Duel. After all, you may need to formulate a strategy against one or both combatants. L-Let's hope that's not the case...
  16. I bookmarked the YCM thread before...and now you bring it here! Thank you Tom, thank you.
  17. "I-Inside? I-I'll just go get them. Erm they....they aren't here. I think they snuck out....again. T-They do that a lot. Um. E-ever since Allie left they, um, they...well. Have been...trying to go fight Heatran....up there. I s-should go get them...again." Randy sighed greatly, shaking his head. Yeah...probably taking after their sister...jeez... he thought, seeing Marie already getting Trevor to get them led towards the volcano where they most likely would be. Then again...there was something was bugging him with Trevor mentioning what the kids were going for. "Oi, Trevor." he finally spoke up, looking at the Flygon and motioning his head towards the volcano. "The volcano...who lives there? You mentioned the name, but I wanna know about it." He watched the Flygon jumped when the Incineroar spoke. "H-Heatran? You...d-don't know about him?" "Can't say I do." Randy shook his head. "Given the name, he sounds Fire-type. But since we're not necessarily from this region, I gotta ask." "H-he's a Legend. H-he made the v-volcano. Fights e-everyone who asks. S-Sometimes he erupts when he h-hasn't fought anyone in a while." "A Legend?" he asked, starting to get a grin on his face as he even started to roll his shoulders. "Thank you Solgaleo...looks like I found myself a match. Sounds like he's at least a nice guy when it comes to accepting challenges." Trevor only could give a choked laugh. "N-nice. O-okay." Randy glanced at Marie for a moment, before sighing. "I'm gonna do this, Marie. I already made mention to Yveltal that I'm doing this Chaser thing...I'm going to fight the Legendaries and get stronger in the process." he said, doing his best to explain his reasoning. "Plus, I don't want things to end up badly for the militia leader's kids if anything does happen. So don't be surprised if I don't jump into the fray."
  18. Souji didn't get any response back from Jun after he sent the text. No big surprise there, to be honest. She was already busy with the Duel Team, so it stood to reason why he didn't get an immediate response. No doubt testing another potential applicant for the team. Still, it didn't matter to him. At this moment, he was already making his way to the one location he knew he could get some work done...the headmaster's office. His...relationship with the headmaster had been one of, well, a few trips to his office here and there. A few times for bullying another student...who was in fact bullying another student and Souji was being a hero and helping the kid out, but didn't seem that way. Other times, it was regarding his grades. A sort of, "Get your grades up or you'll end up getting kicked out", type of meeting on that. Needless to say, Souji had some respect for the headmaster. First thing was first...needed to get to his office. "Alright. So it's probably gonna be me, you, and Rose for the members of the club firstly..." Souji started rambling to Sai, as they walked. He glanced at his roommate and noticed he seemed to have a look of relief now that they left the roof. "You okay there? ...wait, was it the girl? GASP! Don't tell me your still afraid of girls!" he teased, with a sly smirk. "I mean, I am, but she's a totally different reason man! That girl has sent people to the hospital. She took out a gang with her bare hands! People even claim she tore a motorcycle in half once!" He didn't deny it... Souji paused mid-step and turned to look at Sai. "...you feeling alright? Cause that sounds like something you dreamt up in some sort of fever induced dream." he shook his head, though he did cross his arms slightly. "Still...the 'sending people to the hospital' thing does sound familiar...trying to remember what those rumors were for." "That girl. That was on the roof. That was her. She did those things," He looked at Sai and then nodded slowly, starting to understand. "So she's the one most people have been talking about... Okay that seems to make sense. Would've imagined her being more of the 'bancho' type however...but seems like she'd fit the bill." Still...hmmm...she might be a potential candidate. I mean...what the hell do I have to lose at this point? he thought, before continuing his stride. Finally Souji and Sai made it to the headmaster's office, and the HERO Duelist now stood before the headmaster and took a deep breath, preparing to plead a case for this club. "Sir, I want to make a club with your permission." Souji began. "I have...potentially...3 members at the present. Myself, Sai, and if I can get her, the idol, Rose. ...still working on a fourth." "And that club would be...?" "The Entertainment Duel Club, sir." "There's already a Duel Team." This answer did sort of upset Souji, but he didn't care, he was determined to try and get this going. "Yeah, I'm aware there's a Duel Team...but unlike the Duel Team, they don't deal with giving the audience a fun show to watch." Souji shrugged, crossing his arms. "What I'm basically saying, while the Duel Team that Hitomu leads is already strong and in full swing...the Entertainment Duel Club is basically going to give a different outlet. We'd focus on showmanship, presentation, and overall entertaining the audience." He stepped forward and placed his hands on the headmaster's desk, lowering his head to look at the headmaster. "Take the Exhibition Duel between me and the idol. We literally rocked the house and everyone was on the edge of their seats. Hitomu and me have different styles and ideas...and that's why I respect the guy. But I want to show him, that my style of Dueling can be just as effective as the old classic style."
  19. "Randy, Don't judge a book by its cover. You of all people should know that." Randy immediately moved his foot back and shook it off some after Nani kicked it. It felt like she used some Fairy power on it, thankfully he wasn't full Dark-Type...but still hurt. He rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "....I wasn't...much..." "T-Trevor. I-I don't like to fight but this place is my h-home. I try to k-keep to myself most of the time." He shrugged slightly. It made sense to him, somewhat. Then again, seeing a Dragon-Type like this not being involved in fighting...it boggled his mind somewhat. Regardless, this Trevor seemed like someone who would just rather stay out of a scrap than the type of gijinka to have your back in one. "...suppose that makes as much sense as anything else then. But yeah, what my friend here said is pretty much what we're here in Trailsau for. Do you happen to k-" "Allie? S-she's not here. She left a while ago. Her sisters are uh. Somewhere else." Randy heard the name and immediately sighed. "...yeah that doesn't surprise me. ...the old man won't be too happy about hearing that I was telling the truth." he shrugged, before hearing Trevor's next inquiry. "W-why are you looking for them? H-how do I know you're not b-bad guys." ...of course... he thought, already getting quite the vein popping up on his forehead. "Listen...Trevor was it?" the Incineroar started in quite the calm manner. "...I ain't a bad guy. Trust me, the other three...well...Keanu and Marie can vouch for me, Nani's still new...but just cause I have my dad's rugged looks and am also Dark-Type, doesn't mean I'm bad. Believe me, I've already been accused of being a criminal and kidnapper by a Floatzel and a Magmar...I think they're names were Suzie and Spencer...? Eh either way, I ain't." he explained, surprisingly calm, though the vein on his forehead persisted. "...we just came from Mowloo and met up with the chief of the military there, old Tyranitar. The old guy wanted to make sure his daughters were alright...namely Allie, is all."
  20. "So... um... if you all wanna draw straws, well, I can stand in for Zirco...," "Alright, now choose." Right, drawing straws to see how things would go for the room situations. Jet hesitantly looked at the straws, watching Raijin already draw his. The shortest one got stuck with Mr. E...and at first, Jet wasn't thinking much of it, the more he thought about the possibility of bunking with Mr. E... "This here is Jet, the one with the Mark of Heart, which he wears on his sleeve, if you know what I mean..." "You're all smart, you know that with the eleven of you, there will be an odd person out. Don't worry about it. I will sleep with that person! So don't worry about feeling lonely!" ...yeah that guy...s-s-seems like a D-Wheel w-with a few screws loose... Jet thought, looking at the floor for a moment, before sighing and then looking back at the straws. He'd ask help from god or whatever deity was present, but he stopped doing that ever since he was sentenced to live in that hellhole of a facility in Turbo City. He rubbed his arm and his hand softly grazed along his mark. Jet finally moved and slowly pulled out a straw, his eyes closed tightly to make sure he didn't see. Right now, he was hoping for anyone but Mr. E. I-I'd take any of the others...j-just not E...
  21. "I wanted to know if you've managed to dig up any extra info on Colarata and his casino, or that mystery associate you said he had. Especially our mystery man." VEX only nodded, as he had a few hologram screens show up, to which he had them floating towards Aurora so she could see. "According to my findings, the casino in question that Perry Colarata owns was once in the possession by a mob boss that ran a shady business. However, it seems unlike the previous owner, the current one is running a legitimate business in it." VEX stated, pulling up a few holographic images for Aurora to glance through. "Furthermore, Mr. Colarata has a business partner. Unfortunately, I could not find a specific name for this partner, aside from the moniker that they are known by: 'Silver'. This would not be anything worth a glance at first, however this 'Silver' individual appeared under mysterious circumstances and was never investigated due to having no criminal record." "And that's all we have on the situation, isn't it?" Gavin asked, seeing VEX nod solemnly. "Unfortunately, it is." VEX continued. "At this moment nothing else has been known. However, I am currently troubleshooting a remedy for this lack of information. That happens to be the reason I was a bit late on responding to you, Gavin." Gavin nodded, shrugging. "Alright, well if anything, you can go back and try and see if anything else shows up in any searches...or maybe if you happen to find any shady calls from Colarata or the like." "Of course. If anything changes, I shall let you know post haste." VEX said, his hologram fading. With a strong exhale, Gavin rubbed the back of his head and glanced over at Aurora. "Unfortunately, I think that's as far as this rabbit trail goes, unless we can find any more information." he said, putting his hands in his jacket pockets. "You got any ideas on how to continue, Snow Angel?" VEX returned back to his datascape, surprisingly to see a response from Mauvache. "A reply from our esteemed host? Wonderful. What do they say?" Dearest VEX This is rather unorthodox I must admit but I won't deny you've made me rather curious. You do know I am not the political leader of this place right? Ah, either way, I will be in my office soon. You may meet me there. However I will warn you that I don't let go of my knowledge easily. And if I find out you've recorded any of it, well, you aren't one of my Fighters so do remember I have no concerns about your well-being. "Ah of course, they seem like the paranoid type." VEX commented, nodding as he read every line. "However, while you may not have concerns about my well-being, Gavin does. And since Gavin is one of your 'Fighters', I seem to be aligned with his own well-being. But of course, I shall be playing nicely with you. After all, I am but a guest." With another motion of his hand, VEX worked a response to Mauvache. "Mauvache I am delighted to hear you will be able to meet me. Please inform me when you return to your office. I shall arrive there shortly." Then, VEX sent another message, this time to Gavin...letting him know that he'd be running some algorithms to see if anything pops up regarding Colarata...which is what he was doing, but the fact it would take him a long time to do so wouldn't. He just needed to say this to keep his meeting with Mauvache away from Gavin.
