  1. Apparently....cause I'm not understanding T-T
  2. No it didn't. But there's a perfectly good option (two possibly) there that I could've been...and Dad and Dova have them. T-T
  3. Randy's eyes went wide the moment Marie went and knocked on the door. "M-Marie!! What the he-" he started to say, until the door began to open. Even from where he stood, he could see the glint of the eyes staring out from the doorway. He started to make his way towards Marie's side, but...he couldn't exactly swoop in and save the day...especially with what was revealed coming from the other side of the door. "U-um, hello? Er, who are you? I don't want any trouble so whatever you need I'll give it to you okay? Just don't beat me up, please." The Incineroar stopped mid-stride, just blinking a few times at seeing this Flygon. It was a Dragon-type alright...but he seemed...extremely...non-threatening? Was that the word that he was looking for? It had to be. Randy knew, however, the last part of the Gijinka's statement was geared towards him, which caused him to sigh slightly. ...another one just assuming I'll beat the shit out of them...the curse of having your good looks, I suppose...huh dad? he thought, before shaking his head slightly. Waving his hand dismissively, before smiling lightly. "Relax kid, we aren't here to hurt you." Randy said, trying to reassure the Dragon-type...now that was something he never thought he would ever have to do. Dragons were just about as proud as Incineroars were, least the way he saw it. "We actually just got to Trailsau, so we aren't too bad. I'm Randy, this is Marie, the laid-back guy is Keanu, and the mysterious one is Nani. We were...well...I guess Marie here, was curious on why this place was away from all that." He pointed his thumb towards the other buildings. "Buuuuuut, something tells me that we probably just found out the reason..."
  4. Wait a minute...WAIT A DAMN MINUTE!! Why the hell am I Drax in this? >_>
  5. Something told Gavin he should've given a message back to Aurora to acknowledge that he'd be there...but he didn't follow through with it though. He just simply arrived where Aurora was and gave a quick nod and wave at her. "Snow Angel, how's it going?" "There you are! I don't think we'll have time to actually get there and back before I'm up for an event battle, but a nice walk never hurt anyone. Fresh air, casual exercise, seeing sights, that sort of stuff! And it'll give you plenty of time to tell me about any extra details your little friend there managed to dig up over the last few days." ...now this sounded like a date. Damnit VEX...you had to say something... Gavin thought, before nodding and shrugging the feeling off. "Yeah, totally understand. You've been here a bit longer than I, so of course you've become plenty busy. As for the information, let's get VEX out here and we'll talk. Yo VEX." No response... "VEX?" Meanwhile, in his datascape, VEX was in the process of sending off a message to none other than Mauvache. It was about time he and her had a bit of a talk... "Mauvache This is not Gavin Shepherd contacting you. This is his Artificial Intelligence, Virtual EXpertiment, VEX. As someone who is the benefactor of this entire realm, almost the creator so to speak, from a being of code, I figured it was time you and I had a talk. Away from Gavin, as I know most things could possibly go over his head. I wish to pick your brain in order to best arm myself with knowledge of this Rama Indri realm. Knowledge is power, the old saying goes, and it is none so true for an A.I. So please, consider meeting with me at your convenience. Thank you in advance." Once it was done, he sent it off, nodding firmly. "It is done now...oh, Gavin is calling." VEX sighed before leaving his datascape. "Apologies Gavin, Ms. Aurora. What can I do for you?" VEX said, appearing immediately. "Jeez, took ya long enough buddy." Gavin rolled his eyes slightly. "Anyway, Snow Angel here pretty much wants to talk about the information you received." "Splendid. Ms. Aurora, what would you wish to know about the current situation?"
  6. Oooooooh! The Red-Eyes Ritual! This was a favorite of mine when it appeared in anime!
  7. Quick Man is pretty cool...I also like Shadow Man, Skull Man, and Nitro Man.
  8. Yuudai was able to successfully navigate back to the alleyway and finally was able to get back into the city. Unfortunately, he didn't see Napalm anywhere...so the chances of him getting his medal back were slim to none. That didn't stop him though. He was determined to get back up to where he needed...he had three, so just about two more would do it. He ran into the street, looking down the road some, trying to figure out his next plan of attack. Alright, I guess it's time to go this direction. Went through the stuff over there...so let's go. he thought, already running down the street some. However, he heard some tires screeching behind him. "What the...?" Yuudai stopped, before glancing behind him. BGM "Watch out, it's a game of Crazy Taxi out here!!" Yuudai's eyes widened as he saw what seemed to be a runaway car...with a beetle looking guy on top of it. Must be one of the other students...but why the hell was he just standing here watching this thing get closer to him?! "J-JEEZ!!! Out of the frying pan...into the middle of traffic!!" he shouted, turning around and immediately having his muscles started revolving at great speeds. Damn...guess I'm getting strained later...tank for your life, Shiba!! he thought, already peeling out with the runaway car following behind quickly. "Hey sorry man! Taxi drivers, ya know? They'll do anything to hike up the fee!" "APPARENTLY!!!" Yuudai shouted behind him, shaking his head as he kept moving forward. "You seem like you need some help there! Anything I can do? ...ya know, other than just getting the hell outta dodge?" "I dunno, how good are ya at flipping cars?" "Ehhhhhhh...not too good unfortunately. This Quirk of mine ain't exactly super strength...just sort of acts like it." "Well, there goes my plan. Maybe you can get to the side of the car? I can open it up and get you in the driver's seat." "Alright...yeah I can do that. Gimme a sec!" Yuudai swerved to the side, lowering his speed in order to get right next to the car. "Whenever your ready!" Herc crawled to the side of the car, reaching out and thrusting his hand through the glass, breaking a hole wide enough for him to maneuver. He fiddled around, looking for the lock, which was quickly found and unlocked. He then opened the door. "Beetle Man's roadside pickup, at your service," he quipped as the door opened. "Heh, pretty cool." Yuudai chuckled, sliding into the car now, immediately letting his muscles rest...though he felt the straining coming on. Perfect. "Alright, successfully in!" "Hit the brakes or something, I dunno, something to stop us from running in the 90s. Or... Maybe turn on the radio, get some nice tunes playing." "Yeah...otherwise we'll be basically making a city escape...probably wouldn't look too good on our entrance exam." Yuudai chuckled, immediately attempting to slam on the brakes, as well as fiddling with the radio. Finally, he felt the car stopping, coming to a slow halt. Yuudai slumped in the driver side chair and sighed greatly, happy that he stopped this moving car. He heard the guy up top from the roof finally speak. "Nice work bro! So, how many medals you got?" "Got about three...you?" "Same. So, feel like a thumb war for this medal or...?" Yuudai waved his hand slightly in a dismissive manner. "Nah. No need. I sorta just got tangled in your attempt to stop the car. It's all yours man." "Sweet bro. Thanks!" Herc rolled off the car. "So, you wanna split up? Or maybe... We could be some dynamic duo." "Hmm...well given I'm already feeling my muscles straining from the use of my Quirk...working together might not be a bad idea." Yuudai chuckled, getting out of the car. "Sounds good. I'm Herc, you are?" Herc asked as he held out his hand for a handshake. "Name's Shiba Yuudai. You can just call me Yuudai." he said, shaking the beetle's hand. Team Up Achieved!!
  9. "S-sorry, but, imagining you as the club leader... pffftt... we... we wouldn't be able to keep members for a week. Besides, we'd need to have four people for them to even consider letting us have the club. We'd make half of it... maybe we could convince that girl you dueled the other day to join? Got nothing for a fourth though..." "Thanks for the vote of confidence, Sai..." Souji rolled his eyes, adjusting his fedora and his clothes some. "What, would we be voting for you to be the leader? We both know how you get around other people...your people skills suck just as much as mine...and that's saying something." Then Sai mentioned a potential third member to this Entertainment Duel Club, the girl he Dueled for that Exhibition Duel...Rose. The HERO Duelist started to rub his chin slightly, the gears starting to turn in his mind right now. Aside from himself and Sai, Rose seemed like the perfect choice. How she Dueled that first day against him, it was obvious she knew how to work the Entertainment Duel field and Duel Space to create an amazing performance. "Sai...your a damned genius." he said, looking at his roommate with a wide smile. "I could work with trying to find a way to contact Rose and we'd have three members right there. As for the forth...maybe Jun? ...wait no...shit, we can't. She's already a part of the Duel Team with Hitomu. Damn...ya know what, I'll text Jun. She's good with knowing someone who could help...either way, you...me...we're going to get this club finalized." He grabbed his phone and immediately started to text Jun, surely she'd know someone... From: Souji Kazuraba To: Jun Shui Jun, it's Souji. Need some information...possible students who maaaaaaaaay have a knack for Entertainment Duels, putting on performances, and maybe even putting on a flashy outfit to entertain the masses. Me and Sai are gonna try and get that Entertainment Duel club up and running...pls help.
  10. Alright you chuckle-fiends (cause family friendly is good)...me and Sai have determined the following being accepted (not counting my own and Sai's cause we're host and co-host): Yui ~ Ichigo Banana/Nai ~ Nana Zai ~ Aichi Your name isn't on here? It's probably because your still working on an app or are currently redoing their app. Either way, this is the update currently. I apologize for not being able to say/mention this before now...but here ya go for the moment! You'll find your apps in the Accepted App spoiler soon.
  11. Jet sat there, a bit startled at what Zirco did, apparently assaulting the CEO. Someone who had the gall to stand up to someone that influential in these cities...without even batting an eye. That did impress the young man a great deal. But hearing that Blues practically told them outright that he wasn't to blame for anything that happened to them. While he wasn't wrong, Jet supposed it was just because of one thing: the family name...guilty by association. "I only came to you because there's no one left! The original Signers, the real ones, are missing. Yes, a lot of them are old, but they haven't lost their edge. But they're gone, and even their families don't know where they are. The duel champion, Kyouji, is busying looking for Jack Atlas. Dread Knight won't even join, saying that only Hearthome was his responsibility. If you thought for one second this is my fault, you're a bigger dumbass than the reports make you out to be!" ...S-So...we're basically...t-the bottom of the b-barrel...? he thought, basically thinking that's what Blues meant. Nevertheless, the Signers were all gone and the Duel Champion Kyouji wasn't able to help out because he was looking for his mentor. Meanwhile, Hearthome's vigilante was...well...vigilanting...so he was useless at this point. So that really did leave them... I-Is everyone screwed...t-t-then? "Now, most of you gave me your answers, but I will reiterate and make clear what these terms are. If you choose to stay, you'll have six months to save the world. At the end of the six months, no matter what happens, you're free to go. If the world isn't saved, one million dollars and the benefits I stated before will be yours. If you do, however, well, a billion wouldn't be enough to properly thank you. Mr. E will show you around. For those that didn't answer, I'll have your final answers tomorrow." With that, Blues Kaiba jetted off just as quickly as he came. So now he was forced, namely by Akihiro clearing his throat, glaring at him, and motioning for him to follow Mr. E and the others. It seemed like a nice facility, given that it was once a prison...but still, it was nice. A garage, pool and gym, a fully functioning and stocked kitchen, and a library. The garage, run by Gil, seemed like some place he'd probably be at a lot...if only just to possibly get on his D-Wheel and ride around to get a chance to clear his head and thoughts... That was, provided that Gil and the others were actually cool with that. H-Hopefully...t-t-they aren't like D-Dr. Akihiro...and get pissed about that... he thought, rubbing his arm slightly. Well, maybe he'd have to ask real quick. When most everyone else left the garage, he approached Gil, clearing his throat. "E-Excuse me...G-Gil was it...?" "That's my name. What's yours?" "J-Jet...Jet Hoshimi... I had a question for you...would...would you or a-anyone else here...m-management wise...get pissed if I-I took my D-Wheel out for a bit of a d-drive every once in a while...?" "What? Hell no, man. You wanna take it for a spin now? I just finished fine tuning and cleanin' it,' "O-Okay...um, m-maybe a bit later...k-kind of got to follow the group. T-Thank you." Jet said, bowing slightly, before turning around and trying to make it back to the others. This...this actually did make him feel a bit better. "You think we should draw straws to see who has to sleep with him?" "Oh the horror of rooming with Mr. E! Who ever could endure such a cursed fate?! No, I'm kidding. I don't actually care, but the way I figure it he's going with one of the dudes. So, if anything, you Jet and Raijin will be drawing straws." Jet began to shrink back when Hypatia mentioned him along with Zirco and Raijin in regards to possibly getting stuck with Mr. E. Not only that, the prospect of getting a roommate didn't bring too much joy to the young man anyway. It just made him think of the days back at the orphanage...and that wasn't too grand for him either. He'd prefer just staying in his own room away from everyone else...but he felt like that wasn't going to happen...like at all.
  12. The next couple of days, Randy was able to rest a bit easier. The surprise ambush by the cannibals did a number on everyone, so the next few days of recuperation was definitely needed. Though, there was now a bit more smog and heat in the air now...a feeling that, you guessed it, Randy didn't mind one bit at all. It was almost comforting to him. That's when the group finally saw the city...or rather...assortment of houses with near the edge of it, a volcano. Just from the look of it, it instantly reminded Randy of Alola, which caused him to let out a small sigh. It was obvious this was the place...this was Trailsau. "woooah, come on, guys!" "Heh, guess it's finally time where we can get some proper rest...with the possibility of a bed." Randy chuckled, following Marie. The rests along the way were alright, but nothing beat the feeling of actually sleeping on a bed. Even if it was a mat, it was better than just the ground. As he walked, however, Randy could make out what seemed to be flames and electricity off in the distance, with the sounds of fighting going along with it. Well the old Tyranitar did mention this place was lively with that sort of stuff...reminds me, I need to keep my word and find his family to check on them for him. he thought, though making a mental note to possibly join in on the fighting...if he was able to that is. "why do you think its here?" "It" in question, Randy found, being a cottage being far out from the others. Which was strange to him...why was that here and not with the others. He cleared his throat at Marie, glancing down at her. "Not sure myself...but be on guard regardless. Remember what the Tyranitar from the last city said about this place."
  13. I'm having breakfast right now, but shouldn't be long. At the front door, maybe? "Front door, eh?" Gavin muttered, he nodded and closed the message and looked over at VEX, who seemed to be smiling. "VEX...why are you smiling?" "No reason, Gavin. Though it seems to be that you have, what they call, a date with Miss Aurora." VEX simply said, before his holographic form vanished. Right now Gavin turned bright red as he tried to take his right hand and wave it over where VEX was, almost to either smack or grab at the hologram that was no longer there. "V-VEX!!! J-Jeez it's nothing like that!" he said quickly, shaking his head firmly. "I'm just helping her figure out what happened to her friend..." "Whatever helps you sleep at night, Gavin." Tch...what do you know anyway? he thought, already walking out of his room. VEX was an A.I., so yeah he knew A LOT...so maybe he was right? Still, that remained to be unseen. Meanwhile, VEX within his datascape, looked through the different data on the Colarata case that he was on since Day 1...but he was also opening up a link to the wristwatch Mauvache gave Gavin. It was time to see how many points he had... With a few motions with his hands, the data changed on his digital screens and he saw the amount: 208. Then he opened up a tab he saved the other day, an event titled "Bullet Hell: To the Moon!". This was what he was wanting to get Gavin involved with, to get him back into his element. "While he has the correct amount of points, he will only end up having eight left if things go awry." VEX muttered. "However, I doubt that Gavin will fail in this challenge, but there are the slight chances...perhaps I can make an inquiry to Mauvache later. It would be about time for myself and her to have just a little chat."
  14. Was it by your machinations that YCM went down again?
  15. "You're just stupid, got it." And you, madame, are a bi-... Souji started thinking, only to have the back of his head hurting and causing him to stop. Probably for the best, anyways... "And... you're up here why exactly? Clubs are recruiting, so shouldn't you be looking for one or helping whoever you're with reel in new members? I'm not interested in joining whatever you're about to suggest, before you ask." "Good, glad I wasn't going to ask." he said, rolling his eyes slightly. "And if you must know, I was up here thinking actually. Ya see-" "Yo, you know there are better places to take a nap, right? You could hit your head if someone opened the door. So, no club this year to?" He stopped suddenly in mid sentence as to his surprise, Sai walked into the scene. "Thanks Captain Obvious..." Souji grumbled, rubbing the back of his head as he motioned towards Kyouko. "Already established that...so thanks for that. ...I'm still keeping this." He snatched the beef jerky that was dropped in his lap and munched on it, not noticing Sai getting choked up on seeing the young girl. "Now, as I was just explaining to her...I was up here doing thinking. Sorta helps clear my head, you know how it is. I was thinking of possibly joining the Duel Team again...if only to be able to get plenty of chances of Dueling Hitomu. Gotta get better than him...he's the goal line for me." A small pause was there, as Souji took another munch of the beef jerky, before glancing at Sai. "However...now that you popped up here...a thought occurred. The Entertainment Duel Club we had...we might be able to do that...if..." Souji finally stood up as he took off his fedora and ran a hand through his hair, sighing deeply. "...if...I bite the Magical Musketeer bullet...and be the club leader. Then again, we both know my people skills are complete shit...so dunno if that's back to square one or not."
  16. Yuudai, after scouring the entire area, returned back to where the creature once stood. There was no way out of this from what he could see...well...there was only one way. His eyes dragged towards the direction of the debris. Jeez...alright, Shiba...swallow the pride, just bite the bullet. he thought with a heavy sigh. Making his way towards the debris, he shouted. "Oi! You still there, Napalm?" "Oh...made up your mind?" Cocky brat... Yuudai thought, a bit hesistant on saying anything now, but he shook his head quickly. No...just do it. It's your only way of getting out of here...WITHOUT straining yourself. Another sigh escaped his lips before he spoke up. "I'll give you the badge. At this point it's no use to me down here without a way out." "Throw it out of the hole...and then stand back" Wait...was this kid serious? Throw the badge through the hole and then the wall would be cleared? What kind of fool did this kid take Yuudai for? "Sorry, but I wasn't born yesterday." Yuudai said quickly, already stepping back from the debris wall. "If I give it to you before you do this, there's the possibility you'll just leave with it and leave me here. I'll give it to you after you clear the way. You have my word." "Now what kind of hero would I be if I leave a civilian stranded in some rubble?" The kid said slyly. "I don't trust you as far as I could throw you, bub. So we seem to be at an impasse." Yuudai began to sigh again, rubbing the back of his neck as he shrugged. "Guess so..." Staring at the debris wall, he shook his head slightly. Seemed like the only way out of this, was to trust the kid on the other side...because it obviously showed that this kid didn't trust him. "Alright Napalm...you win." he sighed, moving as he aimed for the hole in the debris wall and tossed the badge out, before turning and moving away slightly, just sitting/leaning against an old terminal keyboard. "There's the badge." Yuudai's Badge Count: 2 "Thank you for your kind donation." The boy said, as he could be heard walking away. The terminal Yuudai had sat against typed in a phrase, as a screen displayed "Password accepted". Another badge would appear from inside a locked drawer. Then, after a few minutes, the wall of debris exploded, sending rubble in every direction. The path had cleared. Yuudai saw the drawer open up and smirked slightly. Heh...fortune favors good deeds, I suppose. he thought, quickly pilfering the badge before the wall of debris exploded. He couldn't see the kid he newly dubbed "Napalm", probably took the badge and ran to basically have a remote detonation with that wall...either way, now he was able to leave. Taking off in a sprint, Yuudai started heading back the way he came, back towards the direction of the alleyway. ...maybe I should talk to the headmaster about what I saw down there... Yuudai thought, not able to get the image of that creature out of his mind. ...I honestly think it needed help. Yuudai's Badge Count: 3
  17. ....I don't know why, but I love this question XD Now, onto the answers! The character: From the OG version, I loved Bass and Treble, just cause they really paralleled Megaman and Rush and I really liked that whole dynamic. THEN there was Bass.EXE/Forte.EXE from the Megaman.EXE/Megaman NT Warrior. The design here was so simple it was impressive. It retained the similarities of the classic Bass but incorporated the sleek designs from the Megaman.EXE series, so that's something that definitely caught my eye. So needless to say...I love both of those versions, with Forte being my favorite. The fish: They aight...I'm more of a Salmon or a Catfish eating kind of guy...but that's just me. The instrument: Oddly enough, I like it. My dad plays bass and has played in church for a while now, and it was one of the instruments I wanted to first learn...unfortunately I went down the path of just electric guitar, but I do still love the bass.
  18. In all honesty, I love the OG Megaman just because of the Robot Masters and Protoman/Blues. With Megaman X, I love the designs of X, Zero, and even Axl. Plus, some of the designs for the Mavericks are pretty cool too. Bottom line: I really like both.
  19. "Are you all kiddin' me?!" Jet was silent, as he looked in Zirco's direction for a moment or two. Honestly, he didn't want to go along with this...he didn't want any of this...but he knew if he didn't, Akihiro, who was still behind him would speak up for him and most likely get pissed. But he knew why Zirco was getting irate, he understood it. But then a new revelation presented itself before the group: a newbie to this insane experiment and project. "I don't know what... Marks, Duel Dragons...I don't know what...What is this all about? I... I haven't been told anything, I've just... been put through all these tests, and now there's more, and there's all of YOU... I don't understand any of it." He looked at Leiko and his eyes slowly drifted back to the ground. T-That's exactly how I was...the moment I-I was taken into the Turbo Branch...but...s-she's even more scared than I was... Jet thought, glancing again at Leiko. ...it's plain on h-her face... However, the "guest of honor" finally arrived and Jet saw the individual with that all too familiar coat. It was on almost every picture in the Turbo Branch, almost a staple of the CEO...along with that signature dragon of theirs. Blues Kaiba finally entered the scene. Jet stared a bit at the man, his hand gripping onto his right arm, feeling it shaking greatly. "About two weeks ago, I had learned of Project Crimson, and reading up on it, my first instinct was to shut it down. I still intend to... however..." " I had planned on letting you all go, help you get started in life but... " Jet heard this sentence and his one shooting star of possible hope fizzled out. His grip on his arm grew tighter, as he looked down at the ground. H-He was going to...he was going to shut this down...? B-But...he didn't...? He kept listening in on the Kaiba speak, hearing how his grandfather, Cyan, started this project and how his father, Azure, kept it going. How it was under Azure that things got worse and that they were the third generation of test subjects and the first successes... But he wasn't caring about that. He was angry...furious even. The one chance he had...the one shot to be free from this hell...and it fizzled out, being choked out by Kaiba. "So, this is my offer to you all. You work with me for six months as Branded Signers, and help me save the world. When those six months are up, however, you're free. You'll be able to leave, a million dollars in your pockets, and a house provided in any city you want, no rent and no bills. What do you all say?" "Hoshimi, Mr. Kaiba just proposed a question." Jet heard Akihiro clear his throat behind him, most likely to get him to focus. "Try not to be rude to our benefactor." Then he heard Akihiro's voice in a hushed tone. "After all...an opportunity like this is what you've been waiting for, isn't it?" "Y-Yes sir...s-sorry sir..." Jet nodded quickly, trying his best not to acknowledge the whisper. "M-Mr. K-Kaiba sir...I-I...I..." he started to stammer and studder. Tell him off...tell him off right now! Run away...do something!! Don't just follow orders! a voice popped into his head, a voice that he always kept silent. There was no doubt he wanted to...he truly did...but right now, he was a good soldier...he followed orders. "I-I'll h-help out..."
  20. Randy huffed, as he watched the Skuntank fall, groaning slightly as he stood up straight from his slouched position. He glanced over at Marie, who hit the ground and landed on her back. It was obvious this surprise attack took a toll on everyone. "I don't think we should sleep here." "Good thinking. You two don't mind a bit more walking, right? We're already awake now after all." "N-Not like we really have...much of a choice..." he sighed, moving over slightly towards where Keanu was. "...as much as I hate the rain...gotta be thinking b-bout you all's safety too. So...g-guess we'll move on." Randy crouched down and nudged Keanu's side some. "Oi...Keanu...you still alive and kicking...?" he asked, still nudging him. "If you are, try and blink twice."
