  1. "Yeah, that's still vaguely demonic. Servant, Lancer will be your opponent today!" Combat. This, Misaki knew. Aside from magecraft, it was just about all she was good for. However, this was not to be a fight to the death. Misaki had to keep her attacks non-lethal. She could manage that much. A spark of life suddenly lit up in the Master's eyes, as her posture straightened out and she moved a hand over the teeth of the skull floating just behind her. Its teeth were sharper by the time she'd removed her hand. "This won't be a fight to the death," Misaki declared, as Lancer took the initiative between herself and Saber. "I'm supposed to be looking for a Master to ally myself with; not killing the rest of you off as early as the first night. I'll judge if you're strong enough to be a worthy ally, unknown Master. While our Servants spar with each other, let us do the same. I am Misaki Shirai of the reputable Shirai family, specializing in the use of flesh and blood magic. Make sure you hold nothing back, because I won't pull any punches that wouldn't kill you." With that, taking a few extra steps back away from the fight between the Servants, Misaki thrust her arms upward, pulling from the nearby ground the tree that she and Lancer had been on just moments ago, sending it lobbing up and over the Servant sparring match, on a crash course to just behind this other Master. This was certainly more in her comfort zone than summoning a Heroic Spirit.

something about british musicians is just really good. Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, The Beatles, just to name a few. 7/10, either whoever uploaded this upped the volume too much or something went wrong with the mixing in production of the actual song. well, a double rainbow is a phenomenon of optics that displays a spectrum of light due to the sun shining on droplets of moisture in the atmosphere. does that explain it? 7/10, had to check that it wasn't melodysheep at first. I was afraid this would be something different at first. The piano end of it could actually make a pretty solid song with some polishing up and putting it in key. Not really something that works on my conventional scale, so let's give this a B-

9/10 I liked your original post better. Fuckin... 5/10 I guess. Not poorly written. 8/10 that many/10. Lead instrument is a bit too sharp, but otherwise a pretty solid and chill tune. Sounds like something you might hear in Paper Mario. OP's suggestion, since someone was too much of a DAMNED COWARD to keep it there. 8/10, but don't listen to it for too too long at once.
  4. "It's likely. Quirks are, after all, just something genetic correct? And there's no two people in the world more genetically similar then twins, so it would stand to reason that their quirks are similar if not the same." "Is that so..." How did her Quirk relate to Hikari's then? Some research was probably in order, but Hibiki certainly didn't want to put in that much effort over something so trivial. But now it was bothering her. Like an itch in her brain. Something that couldn't be scratched by conventional means, and required information instead. But as much as twin villains were probably rare, twin heroes were probably just as rare. Hibiki couldn't imagine records of them being easy to come across. "Haha, well hoo wee too bad some of us have quirks that can't really get better am I right my lads?" "Right!" That was a good way to get off this disappointing train of thought. Hibiki happily took to the chance, and began thinking about her classmates and what they could all do. "Like, um... hmmm... like Herc! He's crazy strong, and sturdy too! He can stick to walls too, and is really big. It doesn't get much better than that, right? He really hit the Quirk jackpot! Dunno how it could get much better than all that in one bundle."

The Ginyu Force will always unironically be the best goon squad. 8/10. I don't blame you. Posting the same thing over and over again must get tiring eventually. 7/10 I like the bassline. 5/10 Well this song and Nathan's can't both be the worst song ever. This ain't even all that bad, even if it has some glaring flaws (some notes are painfully off-key and the backing instruments could stand to have a bit more volume). It's just fuckin weird. Let's go with 4/10.
  6. Location: Trailsau (Team Alola, day 27) Inventory: Good Rod, Antidote, Kasib Berry "Because we have no choice." That was Allie's reasoning for her - or rather, everyone's - incessant violence. Nani was dumbfounded. Incredibly dumbfounded. So flabbergasted at this blatant barbarism that Nani could barely even think of how to make a proper response to something like that, let alone keep track of the fight happening around her. And so it was that in her astounded state, Nani didn't have time to process the sharp fragments of rock ricocheting from Allie's attack against Randy, and was met with a shower of rocks right in the face. Her vision was blurred. Her hearing felt dulled for a moment. Her head was ringing with pain. As the sandstorm whipped back up though, more important than what she could see or hear, was what she could feel. The sand and rocks pelting her face. Not the hood she kept up over it. Against the face itself. Nani scrambled to reach for her hood, only to realize the problem. The rocks from Allie's attack had torn it to useless ribbons, revealing to those who were bold enough to look just what was beneath the whole time. The senseless nonstop violence was one thing. Harming her friends was another. But this was crossing a line that ran deep for Nani. Everything, all at once, came to the surface, erupting in a shriek of rage that could be interpreted as either a warning or a signal that she herself was in danger. "Now, what are you all going to do? There's still time to run, you know." "This is what YOU wanted, remember!?" Nani darted in the direction of Allie's voice, relentless and eyes full of the intent to not just stop at "winning" anymore. Charging up her own attack, the Mimikyu continued "Fighting's all you people know, so let's fight! And fight and fight and fight! Until all that's left is the winning team and a splattered red stain on the floor! That's the Adarid way, right!?" Time to go! Nani lunged forward the moment Allie was in sight, opening her mouth and revealing not only teeth, but that familiar pink glow from inside. For such a small eater, she had an impressively large mouth. And when she was close enough, practically on top of the Tyranitar, her jaws clamped shut, trying to aim as close to the neck as possible.

Fuck yeah, let's go punch some criminals! 7/10. Aye. After the wonderful abomination that was Lifelight, I was a bit concerned hearing another vocal theme for a Nintendo game, but this ain't too shabby. 7/10. This song has the same kind of feel as a lot of songs that went on to become memes for some indecipherable reason. I've consistently given those unironically high scores, and I don't plan to start changing that here. 9/10, I'll be listening to this one a few more times tonight. Surely you like music besides the pokemon spinoffs and trying to get low scores. I've seen you post other tracks before so don't pretend like that isn't the case. I know this was posted in one of my threads before and I don't remember the score I gave it. Honestly, I find this one more funny than bad on a second listen. Let's go with a 2/10. OP's suggestion. I swear I'm not finding these on purpose. 9/10

Groovy instrumentals, a buttery smooth voice, and solid composition. How could I not give it a 9/10? Ayyy I know this one. Always thought it could do without the music box intro, but overall, Remilia and her theme are among my favorite Touhou characters and songs. 7/10, I like when songs do that thing where the lyrics are different on the final chorus, since it changes the flow of it a bit. Nintendo already copystruck it. Sorry. Chaynce not much of a singer, but him and his pals sure can rap. Rather enjoyed the video, too. Would watch a full-length Lion King movie like this tbh. 6/10, he clearly enjoyed making it. You're gonna have to dig a bit deeper than "this pop song is so bad because meme said so" if you want to earn this 0/10, because studio-quality production can do wonders for terrible songs. Even if it is so bad. You're getting warmer fast though. 1/10, even with the wonders of good studio production values. OP's suggestion. We've talked about eurobeat a lot lately and I wasn't gonna post more but I saw this and simply couldn't not share. Clattanoia is an outstanding OP to an impressively meh anime, and I've never heard a remix/cover of it I didn't like at least a little bit. Not gonna rate this one.
  11. "I am Erica Sapphire and I had been assigned as your new roommate It is nice to meet you again, Ms. Sammi Knett... or do you prefer just Sammi? Because you can call me Rika if you feel more comfortable with short names." "Just Sammi is fine." The formality of first and last name was a pain to deal with. Her roommate's name was Erica Sapphire. She took note of that, so she would never forget it. "I see they did not forget my belongings... at least they handled that properly." Yes, at least that was handled properly. Sammi looked at her own things, already unpacked and set perfectly and precisely in their proper places. Only to stop at a book she'd propped up against the wall, on what was now her desk. Its angle was off by a couple degrees. She went over to the desk, and straightened it out. It was a rather plain-looking blue book, though unless Erica could read Kavran, she'd find it rather difficult to tell what it was about. With that small flaw corrected though, Sammi turned to face her new roommate again, and pointed to the side of the room her luggage was in. "That's your side of the room. Try to keep your things from spilling over into my side. If you need an alarm clock to wake up in the morning, I won't pay it much mind. I don't have a phone, so don't bother asking for my number in case you need to contact me. Any questions?"
  12. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 0 "Huh? Do something? Nothing to be doing I think. Could give the Professor a call. She might wanna take a look. But not like we can take it outta there." That's a start, at least. Kanon was thinking of things a bit less academic in nature though. If that statue was what was attracting the Skrelp, there was no way to get rid of them without doing something about it. But what to do was a bit out of her field of experience. And even if she made a decision on how to handle it, it wasn't like the people she'd need would likely listen to her anyway. No, this was someone else's decision to make. "Hey does your friend usually do that?" Kanon looked over to where the guide was pointing. Nomi. Sleeping. What a shocker. "Unfortunately, yes," she sighed. Gesturing for Oswald to follow her, Kanon swam over to where the useless lump of sleep rested on the dock, lifting up the girl's head and moving to push her back up the dock's length. Along the way, she asked "What would you do about it, Oswald? Weird mumbo jumbo statues aren't something I'm familiar with, but we can't just leave it there if we want to do something about the Skrelp problem."

Ah, rip. Was enjoying getting some eurobeat in here. 7/10 If I didn't already have a song in mind for my own contribution this post, I'd want to one-up you with the SM64 merry-go-round. Let's go with 6/10. Very bold goal. Hopefully you reach it sooner rather than later because I can tell this is gonna guzzle down my patience. Despite the memes, this song did top the charts, and it wasn't for no reason. Even if it was just radio pop charts anyone can top. Studio-quality production can do wonders when carrying bad songs. Ludacris being shoehorned into it shaves off a whole point for me, landing at a final score of 3/10, which is higher than I initially thought I'd score it. Still not a bad start. I'll give Biebs credit where due though: At least he didn't do that lazy shit where the outro is just a half-assed fadeout of the chorus except we pitch shifted it to make the song seem less monotonous. People named Yui shouldn't be trusted behind the wheel. When I saw the thumbnail I hoped this was a very specific song from Lucky Star, and wouldn't you know my luck, it was! 8/10, nice find. Impression is pretty on point, color me impressed. New lyrics don't flow quite as smoothly as the original though, so I'm gonna have to deduct points for that. 5/10. After the intro I immediately knew, it was Hayashi. 8/10, makes me want to uppercut some bird-faced asshole into the stratosphere. OP's suggestion. Don't remember the train of thought that brought me here, but I do enjoy me some Marilyn Manson from time to time. 7/10
  14. We don't have enough effects revealed to know how they really operate, but the concept so far seems pretty neat. It's another cute girls archetype and I'm always down for more of those being added to Yugioh.
  15. Revisiting the first half this question since I've had a lot of exposure to Fate as a franchise over the last couple weeks. As far as Fate/Grand Order gameplay goes, my favorite class is Berserker. Outside of gameplay purposes though, I'm pretty fond of Archer as a class.

  17. "If you just wanted to enjoy the day, that's fine! But keep an eye out for anything that looks tasty. Barbatos forgot to give us any restrictions." "Indeed. We shouldn't take advantage of lack of restrictions often, but after all everyone's been through just to meet each other today, we've earned a bit of indulgence." Everyone except Leiko, anyway. She still wasn't sure what the girl's story was, but it was most certainly not Natsumi's place to pry. Further down the aisle, a small girl was staring at a box of snacks longingly. There was no way she'd be able to reach it, but certainly not for lack of trying. Suddenly, as if by the girl's will, a gust of wind shot down the aisle, knocking over the aisle's contents, and more importantly, shoving the shopping cart downwind, directly into Natsumi's ribs. It didn't hurt - it was more of a mildly painful surprise than anything - and Natsumi kept her lips tightly shut to avoid letting out any sounds that might indicate otherwise. As unfortunate as it was to see the aisle in such a state of disarray, Natsumi's curiosity was piqued. What had that girl done? Perhaps this was one of those psychics you'd hear about from time to time. "All for asking the mysterious little girl what happened?" Natsumi asked, not exactly eager to approach on her own out of the blue like that. All the same, she did continue down the aisle, keeping her eyes on the now-scattered contents of the snack aisle for anything of particular interest.
  18. "Well, in recorded history, vampires have only ever been the subject of pure fiction, historical or otherwise. But, that could have easily changed with quirks. After all, there's still so much we don't know about them that who knows what could be possible? I'm sure that, even if you might not be able to turn people into vampires now, there's no telling if it's just laying dormant in you, ready to come out and transform you into a true creature of the night! Of course that says very villainous, but I'm sure you could spin it to be some kind of anti-hero. Maybe with your bright demeanor you could even be just a regular hero, that happens to be part vampire. That doesn't happen very often but I'm sure if you worked at you could work with that kind of a spin. Oh, what about you Sensei? Was your quirk always like the way it is now?" Creature of the night... it WOULD be nice to not have the sun in my eyes all the time. While listening in on Ms. Hitotsume's story about her Quirk and how she learned to hone it over time, Hibiki couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if she'd had the same initiative. She'd definitely be able to fly, for one. Maybe her hearing would be sharper too? And her voice attacks stronger? But she didn't want to be just a sonic weapon that could fly. It was the teacher's finishing comments that most caught Hibiki's attention. "Quirks are like muscles...if you know how to work it out, it'll get stronger. You'll be able to control it better! Which is what we're gonna work on with you losers next!" What exactly was Hibiki supposed to work out with her Quirk? Besides the obvious of wing exercises - which she'd been doing plenty of lately thanks to helpful workout videos online from other people whose Quirks gave them wings - what else was worth putting in the effort of improving? Hibiki made a mental note, that doing some research on the characteristics of bats was well overdue, to give her new points to focus on going forward, as well as give her new ideas on what to work on. Hibiki took another bite of ice cream... or so she'd thought. The only thing her mouth closed on was an empty spoon. She looked down at the bowl. Empty. What a shame. For a short moment, Hibiki couldn't help but wonder if the injured students were okay. Which then caused her thoughts to drift to those villain twins, and their Quirks. "Do twins usually have Quirks that are related somehow?" the bat girl inquired.

  20. "Heeeey! Lindow!" And just like that, they'd found Lindow! It was a bit easier than Pyrrha had expected. The two went on about swords for a bit as Pyrrha glanced around at some of the other shops and establishments nearby, making sure to keep an ear on what the boys were saying though, in case she had to bring some input as well. No such thing really happened though. It was just Lindow filling Reinaan in on how scimitars didn't suit him, and then telling the pair about his experience in a nearby pub. The idea of somebody going around posing as a Chosen.... something struck her as fishy about the whole thing. Were they just after attention? Trying to defame the actual Chosen? Or was there something else to it all? The group was then approached by a woman, who had a request, which she also explained. It was a request that really resonated with Pyrrha. She couldn't help but feel sorry for this woman. Even if she had to do it by herself, Pyrrha wanted to at least make sure her missing husband was okay. Ideally though, she'd be able to bring the others with her. "Rude? No I think you're very brave for trying to help your husband. Go ahead and mark it here, and I promise I'll pass it on to the Chosen. Surely if they're anything like what people are saying, they'll be glad to help... How will he contact you?" "But couldn't we handle it? I mean we're the- W-we're the best adventures out there." That was a close call. This was one of those things where they didn't want this lady to know who they really were. For some reason. Luckily, Reinaan had picked up on it. "B-but maybe you're right. The Chosen should probably look into stuff like this." "If we see this Chosen, we'll let him know," Pyrrha promised. She'd heard stories of minotaurs once, but never got to see one for herself. It was a shame her first encounter with one would be under these circumstances. Assuming it was a minotaur at all that caused this lady's husband to go missing. "We should really get going though. Gotta find the rest of our group, and this Chosen too." With the boys (aside from Damien, anyway) and Pyrrha reunited, that just meant finding the rest of the girls. And also Damien. With any luck, they wouldn't be much harder to stumble upon than Lindow was.
  21. Kickoff. The important school event that started every school year. Kicked it off, as it were. Kyouko generally made a point to avoid the event. Too many people. She'd been convinced to show up last year when somebody had worked up the courage to ask her to the dance, and while that hadn't ended catastrophically, it was certainly a far from ideal conclusion. Kyouko wasn't much of an artist, but all the same, she'd spent much of the time since the club meeting doing up various doodles then promptly throwing all of them into the trash as crumpled-up little balls of bad ideas. Today, from the comfort of her dorm's bed. It was nice to have a quiet day in sometimes. "Who's dueling at the kickoff this year, anyway?" If, out of the two girls in the room today, anyone knew the answer to that question, it was Jun. Kyouko didn't care much about that sort of thing, and even if she did, she likely wouldn't remember who it was anyway. "Not you or you would've said something. Not the captain or you probably would have said something. Didn't hear any mention of it at the club either, so it's none of them." Another crumpled ball of paper was tossed through the air, landing in the trash where it belonged. "For that matter, why's the event such a big deal? I never got it." Maybe something with horns. No, fins. No, fins were stupid and clashed with her deck's aesthetic. Was that sort of thing important? She didn't get this costume stuff, but it certainly beat standing in front of a whole crowd of people where they all knew exactly who she was.
  22. Day 8, ?:00, Mall Points: 61 W/L Record: 3/3 "My world's pretty average. We've got a lot of uh...technology. Stuff run by electricity and lots of metal working....and big cities with big buildings and stuff. Planet's called Earth, if you've heard of it. I'm from a country there called America. It's pretty alright but we frequently get attacked by creatures from hell or something. Honestly I don't know much of the details myself and, I don't think anyone really ever has." "Earth? That's where I'm from, too. Though I don't think I'd say creatures from hell are common. Mostly it's crazy people with too much money or power for their own good. Of course, I'm basically a queen there. No one dares to stand up to me. Were we there I could've turned that security guard into a toad and no one would've thought twice about it. Are you sure you're from Earth? I can't imagine anyone not knowing about me there." "I'm from Earth too, but I've certainly never heard of any hell monsters before, and I certainly haven't heard of any witches." Not to mention Morgan's magic simply wasn't something somebody from Aurora's Earth would have access to. Unless somebody had some sort of Fragment that let them absorb other Fragments? But that would be stupid. Propping her elbow up on the table, Aurora raised her hand, palm facing up, and continued "The history behind it is a bit complicated, but basically, everyone is born with a Fragment in my world." A ball of ice, rough but overall still pretty round, began to form in her hand as she further explained "There are limits to what they're capable of, but not all of them are created equal. Most of the time it's just part of life, but some people like to use their gifts purely for their own gain. In my world, there are also heroes dedicated to stopping them. It's like something right out of an old comic book, right?" Still, the fact that all three of these girls were from Earth, yet all three of them were so different, was a real head-scratcher. Aurora thought back to something she'd been told when she first arrived here. "Time and space is not so...linear as one might think." Not linear, different worlds... parallel universes? That still seemed a bit off the mark. "It's weird that we're all from the same planet, but it's so different for each of us," she couldn't help but comment. Was there an Aurora Burns in those other worlds, perhaps? What was her life like?
