  1. And Round 2 is over! Will randomize Round 3 (since there is only 8 matches in it) and get the images soon. Will either post em up tomorrow or Sunday. In the meantime, here's the top 16
  2. Kelsey let out a sigh after every third question, much to the chagrin of those around her. This was all so boring. A lot of it was just repeat of stuff that she had learned, took tests on, and tossed away. Why did she have to retain information about equations and types of rocks? Apparently for moments like this. She was glad that she had some memory from cramming for tests in the back of her mind so she was able to guess half-well at much of the questions. Thankfully the stuff about current events was pretty easy. She often had a television on while she was working out so she absorbed a lot of usually useless information. Though why there was a question about the names of the Space President's now dead dog, Snuffle, she wasn't sure. Still she was satisfied when she finished the test and slumped over the desk. As she did the door opened again. This time a tall man with an unlit cigarette in his mouth walked in. He had some kind of cube-shaped device that he was leading around by remote and, as he came inside, he glanced to either side multiple times before continuing on. "Ah, Mr Stone good to see you....er, why are you here?" The man glared at the teacher "Don't use that name here." He glanced up at the ceiling and held a hand out to him before nodding to himself. "I was told there was a mess. I'm here to take care of it." "Well, given you're the janitor, I'm not surprised. But really it's nothing. Drei just got out and ran about a bit that's all." "That's all?" The janitor hissed. "Dog slobber can be deadly. If someone slips on it, they could crack their head open. Not to mention all the dirt on their paws...I must eliminate it immediately." He then went to work scrubbing at every surface. Staring at each student before he passed them by. Meanwhile Professor John shrugged again. "Welp. Alrighty then. You may start turning in your tests and I can grade them. I should be able to get done before the end of class so you'll not have to worry long! Feel free to study or...whatever you wish, until then. Just don't leave your desk for long periods." As he said it wasn't long between him receiving the tests and grading them. He seemed to do so at a rapid pace and as soon as he was done the screens at each of their desks popped up with the results of their tests. Kelsey shrugged at her own result. "Could be worse" she said. "Guess I gotta get Stella to cram this stuff back in." She got up from her seat to make it over to her friend and leaned in. "How'd ya do?" It wasn't long after the tests were graded that a loud chime for the end of the class sounded and they were instructed to be ready to be in their next class in 10 minutes. OOC
  3. "So, the suspense is killing me. What did your minotaur friend have to say?" "Why don't we wait till the team is gathered first, I really don't like to repeat myself." Upon saying this Damien started out of the cell. He passed the rope to Ryia with a nod towards Lindow. "In case I get 'frisky' right?" He smirked as he put his sword back at his hip. They had barely even left the cell when the other two found them. Keres noticed that both of them seemed to be somewhat drained. Whatever they had just done must have been emotionally difficult. Though there was something else. "Did you get something?" She asked. She felt something magical, something new and magical, coming off of them. Damien clapped his hands together. "Well look at that, nice timing. Come on, I want to see the sun before I give you the juicy details." Once outside the man stretched and looked up into the sky. "Ah, sweet freedom. How long has it been since I've tasted you?" "A day." Keres said. And then urged "You had something to tell us?" He smiled back at her. "So impatient. But alright. Here's the deal." He spun around to face the rest of them and his face was a bit more grave than before. "Turns out the reason that the Minotaur have pulled back on protecting farmers is they were asked to by one of the tribes. Minotaur culture is quite intertwined between each tribe so they often will follow suit if one of the tribes decides something, as long as it's in good standing. Now, why did that tribe ask that you might ask. That's where it gets interesting. It seems that the tribe has been poking around some ruins looking for something. My new friend says it's something that will 'make the Minotaur race strong again'. I don't know about you but there's one ancient powerful device that comes to mind. And turns out some of them have set out for a ruin just south of here." Keres didn't react to the news but she was silently mulling it over nonetheless. It wouldn't be the biggest stretch to assume what they were looking for. But would interfering mean dealing with the Minotaur nation? Or even a tribe of them? And if they were keeping the others from helping the farmers...There was a lot to consider before making a move. "So what should we do?" She posed the big question herself, glancing up to see what the others thought.
  4. jeezus 10? Uhhh hrmmm alright...I don't think I can really order them but I'll give a gist Final Fantasy Tactics (Advanced) RP: Guild based and lets people do some solo missions as well as less combat-y ones. IFNH 2.0/Introduction Tavern Tales: Silly fantasy RP where anything can happen. Alternatively a much more small scale one that would likely be casual and let people just goof around Gijinka High: Gijinkas, but in a high school setting. Fate RP: Based on the Fate series, each player has a master/servant pair and they have to work together in a more Chaldea type deal Fight Game RP: Inspired on beatemups and fighting games where characters play people who use either fists or occasionally things like beating enemies up with suitcases and the like, based in a world where most people are more durable than normal. Soul Eater RP: Similarly to Fate likely everyone would control a meister/weapon duo Soul Calibur RP: RP based directly in the world of Soul Calibur Somekind of space fantasy: as said, without mechs, or much ship combat, fantasy but in spaaace, with guns and laser swords and such, possible loosely based on Star Ocean Monster Gi...person RP: A world where monsters exist among us in secret and the players are just trying to live their lives while avoiding the humans discovering them Abnormals: People with superpowers who are regulated by the government which is shadow-controlled by a robotics/weapon company called IssacsCorp here might as well mention an 11th bonus since I just remembered it which is a RWBY RP that removes most of the plot and plot-important lore and focuses more on the hunter academy stuff (or a whole other setting inspired on RWBY of monster hunters who uncover something bigger)
  5. Why do I expect to see this in a racing anime 8/10 very fun song, 7.5/10
  6. I...don't know if I can/should answer this. No not just what you're thinking right now but other things as well. Sorry ^^;
  7. Gabby wasn't sure which was more baffling. The strange appearance of these fiends that had come into the bathroom or their manner of speech? Was this some other language? If it was it seemed Jun knew what they were speaking and had responded back in turn. The girl looked over to Melissa to be sure, once again, that she wasn't the only one shocked and confused by all of this. Then it hit her that perhaps she could use this as a chance to get out of the bathroom. Even if she couldn't run away, and leave the others behind, surely it would be safer than in here with...those things. Unfortunately Jun's adapt mastery of the fiends' language didn't seem to phase them enough to get them away from the door. What did, however, was the bat-girl's assault. Gabby was starting to wonder if she enjoyed hitting things with that bat. Whatever the case it gave an opening. Gabby grabbed onto Melissa's arm and hurried past them and out into the hallway. Cries of "Yo yo where's the fire, shawty" following her out. Gabby pressed against the windowed wall at the end of the hallway and took a few deep breaths. She was scared that much was certain. And it wasn't as if they were in all that better a position now. "Should we...try and get help?" Gabby asked Melissa. Though as she looked down the hall her heart sank. Approaching around the corner were a small group of Skull Servants. Teeth chattering as they meandered into the hallway and, upon spotting the two of them, the chattering intensified. They started making their way directly towards the girls. Gabby's grip tightened as she watched. What were they going to do now? She looked over at Melissa and she remembered her foolish suggestion from before. Were these really things that could be reasoned with? But was there really any other choice? She didn't think she had the strength to try and run past them and even if she did the others would be in much worse position. So she took another deep breath and said to Melissa. "H-hold still. I'm...going to try...something." She said. Then she stepped out into the middle of the hall and planted her feet firmly on the floor. Placing one hand on her hip she pointed with her other towards the approaching skeletons. It was now or never. She had been practicing for this since she arrived here. It was time to see if it was worth the effort. Gabriela, Princess of Darkness! "Cease your movements lowly minions of skull!" Gabriela said, her tone more commanding than before. "You dare approach me, Gabriela Von Draculesti, in such a manner? I am the princess of all things dark, the royal heir to the throne of evil! You are but a footstool before me! I hereby command you to bend your knee and grovel for forgiveness!" There was a pause. A painful, fearful, pause where Gabby was sure they were about to attack her. But then, with a cracking noise, they got down on one knee and bowed her heads. "It actually worked." She muttered, her voice softer and more meek than before. Then she shook her head. "Good, now if you truly want to be forgiven for your crimes you shall free my servants from those miserable fiends." She flung her arm to the side and pointed into the bathroom. The Skull Servants then got up and continued forward. As they passed her by Gabby trembled slightly but they merely moved on and towards the entrance to the men's bathroom.
  8. “No hard feelings if you’re busy. Just thought I’d offer to help ya out since you were lookin’ a little lost, and I wouldn’t mind conversin’ with something that didn’t just repeat their name and shout… Not that I don’t love my Pokemon or anything; it’s the opposite actually, love ‘em to death, but they can’t really replace hanging out with other PEOPLE, y’know?” Naomi, slow to the uptake, didn't respond right away to the boy's energetic rambling. She was shocked by how much he spoke compared to the other people she had been traveling with so far. So she didn't really have time to respond before Milla accepted the proposal for him to come along with them. Not that she really minded. Another person or twelve didn't make much difference to her. As long as she didn't have to do everything on her own she was fine. Though she was confused by his last question. She didn't realize that it was more likely a statement but the questioning word choice at the end prompted her to answer anyway. "Don't know, ac'tly." She said. So far she wasn't sold on it being better to be with people. She crawled forward and looked down at Princess and shrugged. "S'fine by me." "Right, so... there's trainers all about the city and the desert up top to face wild pokemon we could go back to. What seems like a good first approach?" Oh. That was a question for her right? Naomi slowly turned to look at Milla. She was asking her how they should train but Naomi wasn't sure how she was supposed to answer. "I'unno, they usually come to me and m'Pokemon fight." Thankfully Nathan was there with the answers. Something about ruins. Where there wouldn't be sand. Which sounded nice. As Nathan asked them if they were planning on catching anything she slid off of Princess's back. "Three's nuffer me." Naomi said, referring to the fact she already had three Pokemon and any more might start to become difficult to juggle. Even two Pokemon she only just got the hang of, if it could be called that. Instead of walking around Princess Naomi sort of flopped along the Rhyhorn's side. Rolling while standing upright until she reached Princess's head. Grabbing onto her horn for balance Naomi nodded, then shook her head, at Nathan's other question. “You guys got anythin’ you need to do before we head out? Don’t wanna rush you but I’m getting excited!” "I don't need...Maybe?" She dug into her bag and noticed no Pokeballs. Though she didn't plan on catching anything anyway. She also saw the remaining marshmallows. She grabbed that and held it out, using as much effort as she could to keep her arm from dropping. "Wan some mallows?" She said. The heat had caused them to melt together but being underground allowed them to cool somewhat more. Making people have to tear chunks out of the bag were they to grab any.

  10. Seeing a topic bumped and clicking on it and seeing nothing new always makes me sad. I don't use it much because of that. Anyway I've been thinking about my top favorite things a lot lately so kinda in the mood to do lists of favorite (maybe least favorite?) things. If you do please don't ask for more than 10...

  14. Rona was fine with the silence. She was watching as people passed by, making sure none of them looked to be dangerous, and keeping close to Leon as they stood among the crowd. In fact when he broke the silence it gave the girl a start. Though she quickly laughed to cover the surprise on her face. "so, was there uh, anything you wanted to get while we're here? It's not every day we're in a city like this right? There's bound to be a bunch of stuff you uh, um, can't find anywhere else, right?" Rona looked blankly at the young man. What would she get? "My weapons are still in decent condition. We should have enough supplies. I don't think there's anything else we're in need of." Rona responded. "Ah, I see.." The young man awkwardly rubbed the back of his head as he said, "but I more so meant things like, food that isn't just rations. Or clothes or, I don't know, anything you'd find interesting." Something she found interesting? Rona didn't bother trying to hide her puzzled face. "I don't know." She answered honestly. She looked down at her body. "Is there a problem with my clothing?" Leon looked to the girl, examining her for a moment though, seemingly examining her before seeming to realize something and quickly clearing his throat. "Well, no. Not particularly. It's just something I know people like to shop for in their spare time." Looking at his own clothes, he said, "though I suppose all of our clothing is getting a bit worn." Rona idly tugged at her top, what little there was of it, and frowned. "Do you think I should get new clothes then?" "Sure. I could probably use some myself, so let's go shopping for clothes." The wyvern rider nodded. "Yes, commander...where does one buy clothes?" The first thing that Alexis noticed when entering the bar was the shouting. A bull of a man was screaming about a boat to another, smaller, man. She thought she recognized the angry man and, when she noticed Yue come in behind her, pointed him out. "That's the guy who was fighting those bandits before yeah?" It was then the one being yelled at noticed the two of them. He seemed to intentionally lock eyes on them which bothered Alexis. Eye contact was meant to start something between two people and from the looks of this man she didn't want that for either her or Yue. Still she just gazed back unflinchingly and let a smile cross her face as she heard him try and negotiate with the bull. "don't let this man keep you from having a drink if you came for one. He's much more docile then he appears." The man was bold. She could tell he was used to having control in any situation. Despite his absolutely bland appearance. With a shrug she started forward before pausing. She leaned towards Yue and whispered into the girl's ear. "Might be best to keep some distance in case he decides to throw someone again. I'm going to get a bit closer though, this looks too interesting to pass up." Then she strode up towards the duo. "Oh, I wasn't worried. I just couldn't help but overhear you talking about boats. We're looking for a ride you see but if there's boat thieves going around then we wouldn't want to accidentally board stolen property." Silt will chuckle saying, "a boat you say? Well, irate though he may be, Susan over here happens to be a wonderful sailor. And last I checked, without a crew, so I'm sure you two can talk about something." The man will pause for a moment before adding, "but if you're looking to set sail, time is of the essence." Oh really then? This just got more interesting, just as she expected. "And why might that be?" The man will put a hand to his chin saying, "oh? You don't know? Well, it seems that the government of Rastarn is looking for a fugitive of some sort. And they asked for compliance with Enta's government to start regulating and restricting travel. They have agreed thus far, though the Sky Knights are only now starting to be able to secure things in here." It was worse than she had thought. They would have to get out of there quick or else risk running into a blockade. "Well, we certainly don't have anything to worry about there. Haven't been a fugitive once my whole life! Suppose we'll just have to get to our destination quicker than expected though." She glanced over at the one he had called Susan. "If we help get your boat back would you be interested in a few passengers?"
  15. I will attempt to stay protected from or not exposed to danger or risk; not likely to be harmed or lost. Thank you.

  16. The light, as they are wont to do, illuminated the area as Estellise cast her spell. The glow, a more pure, white, light compared to torches, dispelled the darkness without the flickering shadows that most of them are used to with less magical means. Without the distraction of rats they could more easily examine their surroundings. The stone was dark and unusually smooth compared to most caves. It didn't seem to be natural yet at the same time there weren't signs of it having been tunneled out. Down to the left the light now revealed the dark patch that Chris had seen before. Seeing it now it was clear it was a perfectly cut square hole in the ground. So perfectly that the edges seemed almost jagged. As though if one were to touch it they'd come back with a cut on their hand. Several inches below they could see the first of several stairs, rectangular, with more rounded and worn edges, and a lighter color stone than the rest of the tunnel. Presumably this would lead them to the second floor of the Dungeon. Though now that the light was shining the creatures lurking in the darkness of the other tunnel began to stir. Three more rats, with beady, hungry, eyes stood in a row a couple dozen feet from the nearest source of light. They didn't move right away but seemed to be recovering from the sudden flash of light. Soon, however, they would start forward towards the group.
  17. hmmm, hard to say, I can't not compare it to the original but also weirdly it feels a bit TOO close to the original? 7.5/10 also 7.5/10, something feels missing, unsure what Wasn't too bad noise-wise, though even so, 7/10
