No matter how Vivian tried to spin it, it sounded an awful lot like some kind of prison planet. Kelsey didn't like that idea one bit. The excitement of the crowd around her was getting to her. Making her antsy. And this wasn't helping much. "What sort of planet are you two from, by the way? It sounds like you've been together for a while, so it makes sense that you'd be from the same one, right?" "yeah, our home isn't much special. It's fine but well - " "It's like she said. It's a place like most others. Had some issues but so does everywhere. I guess best you can say about it was that it was consistent. You could pick out any random planet in the universe and probably hit one that's like ours." She never really thought much about the planet as a whole. Really she was only concerned with her own city. And even then only parts of it. Maybe there was something interesting about it but she wouldn't know. What she did know was that she had all this energy now and nowhere to put it. Stella seemed to notice it and gave her something to hit. The sight made Kelsey laugh. "C'mon Stella you're making me look like a lunatic." She said with a grin. "Alright, suppose it's better than getting into it with one of those guys." She then cocked a fist back and swung. Unfortunately without thinking she swung with her prosthetic arm. So when she hit it her fist ripped the bag open. "Ah...shit." Kelsey muttered as she pulled back and looked at the arm. "Dammit." She swore again. "That was stupid." OOC

Since no one else did I decided I would. Based on this thread. The idea is that I will use this to store resources for getting card art. I don't have anything myself so will leave this open. Only post to post links to galleries or sites for finding card art. Try and credit artists where you can so I can include that in the post. This will be an experimental thread. As stated above only vote if you post as well. Otherwise your vote doesn't count. The idea here is simple. Take two characters and decide which you think is the better character. Be it because of personality, design, actions, etc. But be sure to explain in a post. I want to see if we can get people discussing this. Decided on these two because of popularity, relevance, and being recurring big bads in big series. My vote

If Zinnia had more time to be fleshed out this'd be tough but I honestly don't remember her personality really well. Marisa I know super well and her Heroes voice clips are the best voice clips in the game.

Shantae's really hot Megumin is only decent. I know her character better but I wasn't all too impressed which is sad cause of how much hype she got among my friend group.

The issue is sometimes people only have very vague reasons. Now if there are...suspicious votes I do ask people. Such as if suddenly several voters come in who didn't vote elsewhere. Plus after the first round you often would be repeating yourself. Now I would like more posts yes but it doesn't feel right to require them except in cases you need to know the why.

Team Karaoke, Day 37, Deadlands The Drifblim didn't seem to be all too concerned by Nine's actions nor his words. They floated forward and then, seemingly out of nowhere, darted forward at twice the speed that they showed before. They charged through the air as their body started to glow. And then an explosion of energy was unleashed from the Ghost type. Once it finished the Drifblim was laying on the ground, unconscious, still with the same creepy smile on their face. Lok's wisp attack towards the Gastly didn't manage to reach him. Likewise the Smog attack didn't make contact with Lok. Meanwhile Gwen was able to barely avoid the poison attack with a Mystical Fire. She was about to follow it up with an attack when the shell opened up, revealing a young woman. One that Gwen thought she knew the name of. "So that's Shaymin, is it?" She muttered. Of course, that only made sense, which would mean... While Gwen was thinking about it the Shuppet slammed itself into the girl, covered in Dark energy, and Gwen snapped back to him. She thrust her hands forward and struck the other Ghost with a Mystical Fire. Which forced the Shuppet back. Before Gwen could attack again the Shuppet disappeared under the ground. Lok's attack managed to go off and struck down one of the Gastly. However another of them, the one he injured earlier, had taken advantage. And struck Lok with a Sucker Punch as he attacked with Hex. The Gastly's eyes flashed and Lok would feel pain in his chest as he was hit by Night Shade. Gwen called out towards the Legend "I don't think we can stop this fight very easily! They came here to kill you, you know, and argh!" While she was distracted the Shuppet reappeared and rammed into her stomach. The Chandelure was laughing as the Legend emerged. "Oh hello there, so kind of you to join us!" She then launched a Fire Blast. Which was interupted....by a second Fire Blast. Kayla appeared across from the Chandelure, and fired off Water Shuriken at the Chandelure. She managed to dodge and, glaring at Kayla, her eyes flashed. When Kayla tried to attack again she found her Shuriken disabled. "Now that wasn't very nice, was it?" she said. Meanwhile the Cofagrigus simply nodded at the two Shedinja. The pair of Bugs made their way towards Shaymin. Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau "so um, what now? For you, that is. Do you just like, stay here by yourself all day or?" Heatran watched Marie for a moment before grunting and sitting down, cross-legged, in the center of the volcano. "Something like that." He said, his speaking interrupted with growls. "I stay up here until someone comes up to fight. Then I fight. Then I wait." He growled again. "What's it to you?" --- Allie laughed as she saw the Stone Edge coming for her. "You think that's going to do anything?" She said, forming a blade of stone again and slashing it forward, knocking away Nani's rocks. She started forward then paused. And, a grin on her face, stopped chasing Nani. "Well go ahead, if you think you can outrun me, I'd like to see you try." And dark energy enveloped the young woman. Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren Mia's lips turned upwards in a snarl as she felt Mac's blow to her leg. It caused her to buckle slightly and she reached out and grabbed Mac by the face. "Such a bad child." Mia said. Ari's tackle hit her from the other side and she almost toppled over. Which was when Kazo landed the kick on her head. She pitched forward, towards Elsa, dragging Mac along with. She just barely righted herself and swung around, throwing Mac at Kazo. Elsa, as this went on, formed a sharp Ice Shard in her hand and thrust it into Mia's side. The woman howled with pain and threw her elbow back, hitting Elsa in the face. "Now now now...it seems you still don't understand. I will carry out my task...EVEN IF I HAVE TO KILL YOU ALL!" The end of her words was punctuated by a loud ringing. Bells. Growing louder and louder. Causing the wooden floor they were standing on to start to shake. The ground they were standing on was merely another portion of the raft-town, a large square of wood logs tied together to form a usually stable floor. And it was breaking apart. Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Merm Palace "That's kinda mean, don't you think?" The Corphish looked a bit abashed but, with a deep breath, stepped closer towards Easter. "Listen, I don't mean to be rude or anything. But her father is worried about her. So I'm just going to bring her over by him." The Slowking, behind the rest, let out a gasp. "It's a trick, they're going to attack." They said in a slow, drawn out, manner. The Corphish looked at their companion in surprise but, right after, turned to aim his claw at Easter. Preparing to fire off a Bubblebeam. --- Phione splashed her feet in the water as Denku talked. "Hmmm..." She swayed her head side to side, thinking about what Denku had proposed. "I suppose so! If you bring me to mama then mama doesn't have to come here. I think that is what I want to do." She raised her hands up towards Denku. "I can't walk on land very good though." She told him. --- Once they got back to where the other two were they would find Brooke and Gisei separated from the way out by what seemed like a cave in. Voices could be heard from the other side as several soldiers gathered alongside the king. Team Showdown, Day 31, Oasis "Is she your type or somethin?" "How did you and Vibrava meet anyways?" "I have a name you cheeky younglings." said Vibrava said, shaking her head as she set down a second pie for them to dig into. "It's Patty for what it's worth." Landorus snorted and patted Taiga on the shoulder. "You give me too much credit, she's too much lady for a guy like me." He smirked at Scarlet. "This lass got into some trouble long time ago when she took on those brothers of mine. Apparently Thunderus didn't like her attitude much and caused a bit of a ruckus. I had to get up to smooth everything up. Then, wouldn't you know it, she tried to take me on." "I would've won too if I had rested after fighting that ornery brother of yours." Patty muttered while cutting the pie. "I think that was the last time I've been up and about, except when Arceus first left, until now." Landorus said. "I gotta say it's bizarre seeing the world with so many breaks between. Not cause of what changed. But cause of what doesn't." The somewhat somber moment was interrupted as Isole let out a rather loud, unintentional, burp. "....excuse me." She muttered, staring down at her plate, a slight pink tinge on her cheeks.

Keres was doing her best to avoid catching the eyes of the strangers. She wanted to avoid contact with them as much as she could and was certain that, were they to spot her, she wouldn't have a chance to be left alone. On the other hand Damien didn't look concerned in the slightest. He honed in on the pair of Templar. He glowered as he watched them walk up the road towards them even as he stepped to the side with the rest of them. The trio clearly should have noticed them but as they got nearer and overheard Reinaan's words one of the Templar glanced over at the boy. He looked him up and down and gave a derisive snort, looking down, literally, at the younger Draken. Keres realized she was holding her breath as they got nearer. She felt nerves nearly overtake her as she hoped that she wouldn't be spotted. And yet, inevitably, she was. The girl in the middle casually glanced over at the group and took note of each of them. Then, when she saw Keres, her eyes lit up. She clapped her hands out and let out a delighted noise. "Ooooh, is that young Keres?" She said. The girl turned course and headed over towards the Water Chosen. Which forced the Draken holding the parasol to turn with and follow her into the group, keeping her shielded with the object. Once the girl got near to Keres she would reach out to grasp her hands. "It has been too long since...well, I saw you earlier than you saw me, but before that it was such a long time! I was ever so sad when I heard you left the tower. You had such promise. Such potential. You were always my favorite you know. And then the next time I see you all this Chosen business was going on and I couldn't even say hello." Something about that alerted Damien and he sidled near to Keres. "Hey, so is this your friend or something? Why don't you introduce her?" He asked, while keeping an eye on the Templar. Who was hovering over the blonde girl protectively and keeping an eye on the rest. "She's...Hannah." Keres said, voice catching with nerves for a moment. With a hesitation she continued. "Council-member Hannah."

Penelope was more subdued than normal as they made their way through the forest. At first when Alois had snapped at her she had been rather upset. She had stopped herself from responding defensively, just barely, and thus had time to think about it. Something was bothering him that was for sure and from what he had said it was clearly the town they were headed to. She didn't get a chance to ask, because Gunther nudged her and pointed out Licorice's odd actions. The knight, for his part, was also rather cross with Alois. He could tell that Penelope was thinking over what he had said, however, so he decided to let her reach a conclusion before anything else. Though this caused his focus to drift around. And that's when he noticed how Licorice was acting. She seemed to be having some serious issues which was making him worry something had happened. Was it something from the beavers? He had heard of an illness that animals sometimes suffered from. He nudged Penelope to point it out before making his way towards Sienna. "Er, this might sound strange but...can your kind get...rabies?" Meanwhile Penelope had mostly forgotten about the concern with Alois while watching Licorice. She tried to ask the fox what was wrong but, suddenly, Licorice took off. Penelope pondered it for a while. The actions seemed to be quite specific. And the reaction the girl had made it seem almost dangerous. But not dangerous enough to warn everyone off. Or perhaps something that she didn't want the others to know...It was then that she remembered Licorice had helped chase down Remy when the animal bolted and the dots began to connect. Something that Ciela had mentioned to her a while ago. Penelope giggled. "Well that's certainly intriguing." --- It wasn't until they were in sight of the village that Penelope remembered Alois's earlier reaction. She moved over to him. "Excuse me." She began softly. "I was thinking, we never really asked you how you felt about returning here. Will you be alright?" The roar caught her off guard. It was an odd sound. Not entirely familiar. Her eyes widened a bit and she got Catriona's attention. "That noise, you don't think..." Gunther was also caught off guard by the noise. But his reaction was much more resigned. He let out a sigh. "Don't tell me there's another unusual thing waiting for us."

Alexis always tried hard to not be distracted on the battlefield. But first with Leon's relationship with the adorable girl who Alexis couldn't help but watch run off, making sure she wasn't accosted on her way to healing, and now...this. She let out a gasp as she saw Ada using...that magic. That terrible, unholy, dragon-born magic. Magic that Alexis was sworn to defend the world from. But the practitioner was one of Leon's companions. A lovely girl who seemed rather young to be practicing such a dangerous magic. The Pegasus Knight knew what she had to do. "Alexis, if you could come along too." "One moment, Leon, I have a soul to save." She swooped nearby the girl and called out to her. "Fair maiden, I must give you warning. The magic that you are using comes from a demonic creature! If you go down this path for too long it may swallow your very soul! I ask you to rethink this decision." She glanced over at the battle and cursed under her breath. "I must go now, but keep my words in your heart!" Then she swooped away dramatically. She kept to the side, attempting to avoid the axe users, and went straight for the Mercenary. "Ganging up is it? How about I even the odds!" She called out. She thrust her lance at the man. Who raised his blade to try and block the attack. Only for it to get shoved into his face. Dazed, the Mercenary was unable to avoid Alexis's follow-up, which caught him in the chest. "You keep strange company these days, buddy." Alexis said towards Leon. "What have you gotten yourself into..." Rona was being worn down. She could feel it. Slowly but surely the damage was racking up and her attacks were slowing slightly. The bandit that attacked her left himself wide open. Rona should have been able to take advantage and finish him off but the blow she dealt to him didn't quite fell him. He still hung on and would have attacked again had their employer not gotten in the way. "Ahaha, good shot!" Rona said, trying to keep composure. "I would have taken care of him but I appreciate it nonetheless." Looking across the field there were a couple others grouped nearby...and one who had attacked Leon. For a moment she considered going for him...but that would mean abandoning her mission to do what she wanted. So instead she veered towards the Fighter across from her. If she could keep those two from getting any closer....perfect. "You two better stay away from him, I'm not letting you take one step closer!" She shouted as she brought her axe down towards the Fighter's skull. Hopefully she'd be able to finish this one off in one blow and redeem her mistake earlier. The bandit brought up his axe to try and stop the attack, deflecting it slightly, causing Rona's strike to instead bury itself in the Fighter's shoulder. The damage done was severe but...it still wasn't a kill. Damn it. From a relatively short distance away Alexis called out to her. "Awfully protective of him, aren't you?" Rona didn't get the suggestion in the stranger's words. She shot out a, somewhat frustrated, "yes, of course. He's the commander after all." Alexis raised an eyebrow at Leon. "Commander, eh? What HAVE you been up to, you scoundrel." Before she could retort to this she saw the Fighter, with an angry swing, strike back and cut into Rona's leg. She let out a hiss of pain and refocused on the man.

Meanwhile I'd rather have the new models. To me I feel if I want to use those others I'd just replay the old games. Which is something I often do anyway. Personally I get new games for new experiences. Not to mention in the other games they have limited amount you can catch during normal gameplay anyway. Transferring them from other games to me feels like its taking away from the game. I get it from a collector standpoint but in that case I don't get why where the collection is matters. They don't delete the previous games. Plus from what I hear about Home you can play with the Pokemon in ways you can't in the games which sounds pretty nice. Sorry I seem to have fallen into a rant lol

Dennis cowered back a bit as the two ferocious strangers closed in on him. Instinctively his hand went to his Pokeball but he stopped himself. Remembering that his Pokemon was elsewhere at the moment. So he was defenseless against this massive thug, who Dennis was sure had to be at seven feet tall, and that executioner of a girl. With a gulp he stood up and backed away. What was he supposed to do now? They outnumbered him, outmuscled him, and he had no idea where his partner was right now. "I...I just eat whatever I can get." Dennis said in response. He realized he had to play along with these two. Whatever they asked he had to answer. It was the only way he'd get out of here alive. "I don't get to choose what comes my way." His eyes shifted over towards the windows. No. Too high up. But if he had to... "U-uh...you're not here to fix the light right? I...I keep it going to make sure no one comes here. So there shouldn't be any reason for you to be here." His eyes widened. "Are you here to rob the place?" His eyes flicked to the pair's bags. It didn't look like burglar equipment but... "There's...there's nothing here. Just go away!" He said, raising his voice slightly, then wincing as he realized what he had done. They were going to throw him off the edge for that weren't they?

I think the main issue is that even for an all-rounder there is too much going on. I'd say focus on just a few things. Since there's like 7 or so different things it's got going on. I'd like to focus down to 3 maaaybe 4 things. Just seems it can do too much and it gets muddled. Pick a couple weapons and also something unique to it so that it's more focused and not overdone.
