  1. "Sure, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to help you out. How many ya gotta get through? Also ya like, know it tends to be cheaper to get what you want by not buying from packs, yeah? Makes it kinda hard to get multiples though... Unless ya got friends, that is! Sadly not too much in that one, granted I tend to go for some of the janky stuff seeing as I can afford it." Daichi laughed as he waved this off. "I honestly didn't spend any money on this. As you said, got to have friends...I was given some of these by one of my friends who runs a card shop in town. I'm a regular at the shop annnnnd he knows I'm looking for some good Pendulum cards, so he knew I'd be enjoying them." He grabbed another pack, opening it and sifting through them slowly. "No worries about that pack...still got plenty." "By the way, what do you think of how they're dueling? And uh, I know I was kinda unavailable to hang out the other day, sorry about that. You mind if I treat you to coffee or like the arcade to make up for it? I-It's okay if no!" He paused at the moment Falisha saying this, as he looked at the young woman, giving her his trademark smile. "Honestly that's why I was offering the card opening right now, since we didn't have a chance earlier. Ya know, better late than never." Daichi nodded, before his smile turned into a smirk. "Same time, the arcade or coffee offer does sound good too...so perhaps I'll hold ya to that!" A light laugh came from the young man, before returning to this opened pack and immediately seeing the card he stopped on. He slowly thumbed it to the side and brought it closer. "Hatrickuriboh...well, that's certainly adorable." he nodded. "Same time, seems like a perfect fit!" Sliding the card over to his deck box, Daichi was thrilled about the new addition. "Oh right, as for how they're Dueling? Well...so far it seems like, at least, in our esteemed captain's side, it seems like it's going to be an even match up between our Duel Sniper and theirs...though Rosalia isn't the type to be so easily beaten. She holds the captain position for a reason." he gave the other two screens a side glance. "No doubt Eve will be fine with her Turbo Dueling...that said…" Daichi's gaze turned towards the one with Charlie and Sai. "...he's representing us...in my stead. I can only hope that he doesn’t lump us further down the path of a Heel...or for that matter...make a mockery of Action Duels for entertainment purposes." He sighed heavily at that last part, although this was what he wanted...didn't still mean he didn't have this innate fear of Sai sullying the grandeur of an Action Duel. "I just feel bad I got so obsessive over my baby that I didn't notice it had been a couple days... and well when I realized that uh... I don't remember how long I was out, though I think someone was checking up on me...? I woke up with a blanket so..." "Oh no, don't apologize for putting effort and love into that D-Wheel of yours, Falisha." Daichi put that pack down and went for another, opening it immediately. "Honestly, I don't mind helping if I can. After all, your idea to utilize your gemstones in a flashy display that will stun audiences has intrigued me greatly. Remember, I'm all about the flashy presentations that will leave the audience speechless." Glancing down, he saw another card and it intrigued him so. "Crystal...Horned...Dragon…" A hush came over him as his eyes closed, seeming to be thinking about something. Suddenly, a wide smile appeared on his face yet again. "Perfect! This is just what I needed!" With that, he put this card also in his deck box. "I'm starting to think you may be a good luck charm, Falisha!"
  2. *Looks at the tons of shite I have going on with my job at current* *Sees new RP* ......interest noted....I'm a damn glutton for punishment T-T
  3. The Raging Raptor "The match of Fire versus Light! Chivalry versus justice! Knights versus Guardians! Here it comes! Coming in as the first seed of Troyce, his deck both ignoble and noble all at once, loaded with more weapons then you could find at a Renaissance fair. Richard Wallace! And coming in as the second seed of Scarlet, her deck is filled with light, sworn to go through its cards faster than a formula one race car. It's Kiyoko Matsuyoshi!" Now this was a match up he was interested in seeing, least for one part anyway. Itsuki had the privilege of watching Kiyoko Duel once before in Scarlet, due to him passing through just to get a few challenges as well as potential sponsors for his future Pro Duelist scene. Her and her Lightsworn card were quite the force to be reckoned with, after all, she was the second seed of Scarlet. However... "Richard Wallace, first seed of Troyce..." Itsuki muttered, looking at the opponent she had to face. "Hmmm, honestly doesn't look like much...but with the introduction Ai gave, makes me thing that it'll be a lot more than a one sided fight..." The Blazing Squire "The match of Fire versus Light! It's Kiyoko Matsuyoshi!" His heart was pretty much beating out of his chest at this point, his face wore the widest smile possible. This was the real thing...this was the biggest moment of his life...his Blue Rose debut! Richard was pumped and his blood was boiling with excitement (still probably not a good thing, all things considered). And the applause when he stepped onto the Duel field, Richard reveled in it...it was amazing! "Richard." Richard's opponent...Kiyoko Matsuyoshi from Scarlet...this was definitely going to be a fun one. "Kiyoko, a pleasure." Richard smirked, hanging Kiyoko his deck and took her's to shuffle it. "I've heard great things about you and your Dueling. I'm excited to see what you can do." he said, handing the now shuffled deck back to his opponent. The woman grabbed the deck back, handing Richard his as she nodded. “And I to you. I’m interested in how far your chivalric knights will go against justice.” "As am I." Richard took the deck back and extended a hand towards Kiyoko. "Let's give him a hell of a match!" As the referee had come by them, coin in hand, Kiyoko looked to him and said, “heads.” The man flipped the coin, and having landed on tails Kiyoko nodded to Richard. “Your choice.” "Very well, then if it's all the same to you, I'll go first!" Richard said with the widest smirk. With the two combatants going to their respective sides, turning on their duel disks, Ai shouted, “now all that’s left is to - “ “Duel!” "Time to start this Duel off…" Richard drew his hand and carefully surveyed it for a moment. "First, I'll set a monster in Defense Mode and then set one card face down." Two cards appeared on the field, both face down. "It may not be as grandiose of a start as some...but me and my knights are hoping for one fiery Duel. So it's your move!" Turn 1 - Richard Wallace Sets 1 Monster in DEF Sets 1 S/T on the field Turn End [3 cards in Hand]
  4. "I think now's our shot Elt! Fly us in at full speed, and I'll clean this guy's Digi-Clock!" "Elt? Eh I guess it's better than some nicknames…" Elton shrugged before nodding, even noticing the other Tamers that were joining the fray. "Looks like more and more are finally joining in...good. Power and strength in numbers will definitely help in this little boss battle." He stepped a bit on the Dash Slider and soon he and Aoki were accelerating further towards the Flymon whilst Berg was continually pelting it with Baby Hail. Looking back at Aoki, Elton nodded. "You only get one shot at making it count, Aoki. With the combination of you striking it and the acceleration we have here...you should be good...so HIT IT!!" Aoki tightened his fist, slamming it into his palm, as he looked to pitch it like a professional baseball player. "Closer..." he said, as they dashed across the field. Once Flymon was in reach, Aoki exploded. "Now!" letting his arm fly out with force, Aoki put as much strength as he could muster into his arm. The clothesline caught the Flymon off guard, distracted by the poison cloud, as his neck caught the full force of Aokis and Eltons combined move. "GAK!" it explained, as it tried to force the two away, but was no match. It spun vertically in the air as the boys passed by, and eventually crashed to the ground. "Hell of a punch!" Elton gave Aoki a thumbs up before turning his attention towards his Digivice. "Berg, the wasp is down...so let him have it!" From the Digivice, both Elton and Aoki could hear a delighted and jovial laughter coming from the icy dino. "10-4 on that, Elton! Ice Mash!!!!" From the position they were in, Berg was seen striking in close quarters with his ice against the downed Flymon. "There were go. Make sure to give Reef your orders to assist...with these combined efforts, we'll be able to strike at the Kuwagamon full force and for full damage without a problem." Elton nodded firmly.
  5. "Welcome, dear fans, to another match in our amazing minor league circuit! Today we see the new team, with quite a reputation made for themselves already, Team Genesis against fan favorite Team Free, with plenty of heavy hitters! How will our new team fare!?" This was it...rather than being on the stage this time, Daichi remained on the sidelines. He needed to. While sitting in the spectator's box with the rest of the team, Daichi had a small table pulled towards his chair, his deck sprawled out and even had a few packs of cards stacked up as well. He would watch these Duels and fix his deck more at the same time. Needless to say, Daichi was excited...and then the groan came. "He's so loooooud! And he's just going to try and demoralize people again... can't we just skip the pleasantries today?" "Oh he's just enjoying his job...let him live a bit." Daichi flashed a smile, whilst listening in to the introductions. The one with Sai and Charlie, he paid extra attention to. He would be representing himself as the Action Duelist this go around. He hoped, of all things, his own reputation as an Action Duelist didn't get tarnished here. Though the sounds of boos at his introduction were definitely a sign of good things to come... "Can one of you guys hand me a water bottle?" Daichi was already on it, quickly reaching into the back next to him and pulling out a water bottle to hand to Vega. "Aaaaaannnnnnd to go with it…" he said, lifting his hands up a bit to do a few gestures, before in his left hand, two aspirin appeared. "Take these, should help alleviate the headache. And this is why you don't party too much before the day of the match, coach." he snickered, before turning towards Falisha's direction. The two of them hadn't had as much time to generally hang out like the homework assignment given to them by Vega insisted. Then again...didn't mean they couldn't start now...as long as it ended up happening before Monday, it was a perfect opportunity. "Hey, Falisha. Care to help me out? Got a few packs to open...was told there were some good chances for new Pendulum Monsters in em. Figure I offer." Daichi said, holding up one of the packs he had.
  6. Been a Long Time Coming Pt 1 “Will we see each other again? I suppose either way, you can look to the horizon and think of this place and that will be enough. Farewell, Kitt Axton, watchdog of Taros. Remember what I taught you -- all of it -- and good luck.” It felt like Kitt was saying farewell and leaving Caminus all over again. Except there was a difference this time...he was a bit older and wiser now. He had done quite a bit of Taros' will and now, once again, he found himself standing before his mentor and being put to say farewell once more. The young blacksmith Watchdog was silent, quite solemn in his stature as his eyes were closed. The ideas and thoughts he had on the venture to this second island still weighed heavily on his mind. The fact that a second word of power was spoken...and by his own mentor's lips. How he kept Corpus in a sort of limbo state… Despite all of this, however, Kitt could only crack a small smile. He looked at his former mentor, his forge fire still burning within his eyes. "As you said, Flynt...no one knows if we'll see each other again. Truth be told, I hope to Taros we do." Kitt said with a firm nod. "After all, perhaps next time we won't have a word get in the way of things and actually have a true reunion." He extended a hand to his former mentor who took it and returned the grip. "Stay well, Flynt...I'll keep your teaches close to me as if it were a blade. And may the Forge Master sharpen you and the path you walk daily." Nothing more to be said...for better or worse, Flynt was Kitt's mentor and friend. Like he said before, nothing would change his general viewpoint of him. And what was next? Well...Kitt knew westward was way he was to go...and westward he would go. Been a Long Time Coming Pt 2 Andalou...it was a nice place...if it wasn't shooting fireworks at them like they were trying to stop a foreign invader. But that's getting ahead of things. Kitt wasn't prepared for that, not at all...but he also wasn't prepared for one other thing: the whispers within his slumber. Like his mentor before him with the Law of Cycles, Kitt too heard a whisper within the wind of a word...ca͢n̷t҉icųm̕ad ͝ ̷...unfortunately he couldn't dwell on it much as the explosion sounds stirred the Forge Dog from his slumber. It was so terrible, that it made Kitt rush out to the deck, sword in hand, preparing to attack. Until he was told and noticed it was simply fireworks...sighs of relief escaped his lips. Still...now I suppose I can focus on that...word… he thought, rummaging in his bag and writing the word down. As he did, well...the meaning came to his mind. Ca͢n̷t҉icųm̕ad ͝ ̷ is the first word in a sentence that, when spoken, will finish what the last apocalypse could not. It is the first word in a sentence that will end the world. He shuddered at this revelation, looking at it and the other words on this page. Three words written down on the same page...this wasn't good. Not good...at...all... "Hey, watchdogs, over here! Hey, welcome to Andalou! What’s your business?” "Thank you for the welcome. I can't say I quite know just yet why the gods have led us here, but I'm sure in a matter of hours we will indeed be made aware. For now, I'm going to explore Andalou. Alone." Unusual behavior from Olivander but then again, the Dog of Hinder had his methods and his manners of how to handle things...this was one of em, he supposed. "Please excuse my friend there." Kitt said with a smile, looking back towards Ricky. "Kitt Axton, Watchdog of Taros. As stated, the gods led us here for a reason, but what it is, we aren't aware of it yet. That said, I suppose I should ask you, is there anything happening around the island that you know of currently? Be it good or bad…"
  7. I am once again...asking for your help because the need of a new friend in Pokémon GO is required for research: 4975 7629 0705 <- That's my Trainer Code to add me...go for it

  8. "Hey, got room for one more?!" Elton nodded, moving forward with the hoverboard and immediately grabbed Aoki's hand, pulling him aboard the Dash Slider, both of them elevating a bit higher now to get the better view of the situation. He didn't have time to immediately help Sammy and Sequoia, but he knew those two would be perfectly fine...least he hoped. "Okay...a higher view will yield a better result of action...bear with me." he said to Aoki, watching Berg and Reef working quite well together...the former continually letting loose Baby Hail at the Flymon. "Hmmm..." About this time, something else caught his eye...two new allies. According to his scanner, it was a Tinkermon and a Pulsemon...and of course, Pulsemon's Brawler Tamer. ...so many damn Brawlers... he thought, before glancing at the Tinkermon. "Hmmm, I don't see a Tamer with that Tinkermon...if I had to guess, that may be a Digi-Druid...maybe aligned under the Wind? Too early to tell..." Given the situation, Elton pondered this for a while longer. Finally, he glanced over at Aoki. "I may have something. If I'm correct, aside from the other punchy boy down there just demonstrated..." he motioned towards Seich. "...the Kuwagamon won't be able to be dealt as much damage as we want. However, I believe we can fix that. The Flymon came up soon after the Kuwagamon appeared. It's a long shot, but if we focus on the Flymon first, we can defeat them and then once they're out of the way, we should be able to damage the beetle more. Simple RPG boss tactics...remove the aggro ads here...then more damage is done to the boss." With that, Elton looked at his Digivice, already contacting Berg. "Berg, you copy?" "Loud and clear, boss. BABY HAIL!!!" "Good, focus on the Flymon. Once they're taking care of, we'll deal with red and scary over there." "Heh, sounds like a plan!" Elton glanced at Aoki and nodded. "I can only attack, generally speaking, via the Dash Slider. However...since you hopped on here...we can deal with a double attack. You game?"
  9. *Sees the end* Why must you torture me? Fine...though only one really catches my eye. It's Achilles' Summer outfit, the Digimon/Pokémon costume, otherwise known as the Fearless Diver. Yes, means Achilles still is a Rider Class servant here, but I adore it...plus: Mini Tarasque, don't tell me that it isn't adorable!
  10. Let's have some fun with these, shall we? Okay, so let's go with this...I'll be breaking things down into Live Action and Animated for this category...since it's generally just Disney films. And by this, I mean ONLY Disney films...meaning nothing from Ghibli nor 20th Century Studios...Pixar counts, but I don't think any will appear. Animated There is a HUGE list of possible favorites in this category...but I'm going to attempt to limit myself to three of em...so here's the attempt Oliver & Company - So the first one is one with talking animals...get off me. Talking animals cartoons and movies were a big part of my childhood, and I adored this one a lot. Later on I would learn this was a very clever method of telling the Oliver Twist story, and quite frankly I can definitely see it now. Plus, I'd like to think this movie gave me my love for orange tabby cats. Treasure Planet - HOLY SHIT THIS MOVIE IS SOOOOOOOOOO UNDERRATED!!!! A Disney telling of Treasure Island but with a massive space motif...I loved it! Plus, looking on it, definitely could relate to somethings in feelings...especially now. Also, no one can tell me they didn't listen to "I'm Still Here" on repeat most of their life...if you can, well good for you, you may be lying to yourself xD Beauty and the Beast - This one is more of a recent years development. In the past I loathed the "Princess Movies", as I would refer to them as, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, the works. But it's something about this one here that when I rewatched, it was something that made me more...endeared towards it. Could it be that it honestly unlocked the side of me that happens to be a hopeless romantic and hope for my own Belle to come knocking on my door? Possibly...either way, animation on this was phenomenal. Live-Action There's only one here...why? Simple: SOME MOVIES DON'T NEED TO BE LIVE ACTION!!! Honestly, most of the live action films from Disney happen to be remakes...or remakes of remakes. And honestly...a good portion of them MISS THE MARK!! However... Beauty and the Beast (2017) - The live action BatB actually was the only one I enjoyed. Was it the fact that it told the same story that the animated told? No...it generally expounded on it. It showed us Prince Adam (yes that's his name, I'm sticking with it) at the beginning before the enchantress appears...it expounded on his whole story, it expounded on Belle and her mother...which honestly, I did always wonder why and what might've been (death by plague...not bueno). Gaston's whole character somewhat shown to be something that you don't mind at first...but then immediately hate more as the movie goes on. The idea of the enchantress LITERALLY ERASING EVERYONE'S MEMORY...and even having the forest be cursed to the point people forget about ever seeing the castle...that's BRILLIANT!! Would also make sense on why there's a castle with a beast inside and no one ever noticed it. The way they added to what was already there was perfect in my opinion...could they have done something better...like not the autotuned thing with the music...oh absolutely...but hey, every movie has it's flaws. Also...Evermore...truly beautiful and I will fight ANYONE on that. So that immediately throws out every single MCU movie since they're all owned by Disney now...hell, most of the "Legacy" films that were done before, are showing on Disney+ so technically they also own them. So that in mind, there's only two options... Spider-Man (2002) - The first Raimi film...and the first live action Spider-Man film there had been. While looking back on it....JEEEEEEEZUZ it's cinematography and CGI was atrocious, but it's cheesiness actually makes up for it. It's the right amount of cheese...plus it's provided us with all the best memes. For what it was worth, it brought us two castings that I adore to this day: JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson and William Dafoe as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. Both played their roles to a perfect tee...and honestly, it's good to see both back in action in these newer films. Plus...this movie has to be on here...cause...ANNNNNNNNND THEY SAY THAT A HEEEEEERO WILL SAVE US!!! Amazing Spider-Man - The Marc Webb one...only the first one. Where I enjoyed the original two movies (I'm not gonna say I EVER will enjoy 3...jeezuz), this one gave us something I was always hoping for from the comics: the fate of Mr. and Mrs. Parker, Peter's parents. And while McGuire played a good Parker for the most part, Garfield NAILED the Spider-Man aspect...this one actually HAD quips...and it's all I got to say...I'll let this scene speak for me...
  11. Once Elton and Berg finally descended with the Dash Slider, it then vanishing under their feet once they were at a distance to where they could just step off safely, the young man immediately noticed the towering individual near them...quite terrifying to say the least. But the towering woman and her plant Digimon along with OHKO-YO and his coral Digimon seemed to both be in the vicinity...that is...right near him. OHKO-YO seemed to notice his username and actually start laughing at it...ah, that's the reactions he hoped to see with this username. "Yo! You and your little dude handled yourself pretty well out there! This is Sammy, and I'm Aoki! We're both Brawler-Type Tamers! I saw you using a card while fighting, so you gotta be some strategist right? We could sure use a guy like you on our team!" "Don't forget about me, Captain!" "This is my partner, Reef!" "Ahoy! Nice to meet ya!" "We're gonna be the strongest Tamers ever, and explore every inch of the Digital World! I think having a guy like you on our team would be pretty cool, don't you think?" "Sammy and Aoki...well nice to meet you." Elton nodded, chuckling as he looked at the two. "AllUrBase, or Elton if you wish. And this is Berg." "A pleasure!" Berg gave a thumbs up with his now signature cold smile. Aside from Elton doing this, Sammy seemed to be in a bit of a...different mindset about this meeting. The username was a bit familiar...almost to the point it made her smile. He does seem kind of familiar… as does his voice… "Now you asked if I wanted to join you." he paused, putting a hand to his chin, humming slightly to himself. "Hmmm seeing as you'll need some assistance given both of you being Brawler class...hmmm yeah, you'll need at least a strategist to assist you." "Just gonna agree like that, Elton?" Elton smiled, patting Berg's head some to the latter's protests. "At least joining a party at the beginning isn't a bad idea, Berg. Besides, like I said, these are two Brawler class, meaning they need at least some type of strategist on their side to make sure they don't get 'de-rezzed' or whatever...ya know, go back to square one. So if anything..." he nodded towards Aoki. "I don't see why not. Just one condition: any card that's presented, I automatically get...unless we get another Card Master class in the party, then we'll negotiate." It was at this moment a thought rose in Sammy’s mind and she barely held in her laughter. As she dipped down to regain her composure, Elton saw Sammy’s username: san_francisco_giant. "Hm?" Elton now noticed the username, squinting slightly. "San...Francisco...Giant. Hmmmm that sounds familiar...MOBA player?" With that, Sammy just burst out laughing. “So it is you!” It was about this time, however, that the grounds began to rumble and the other Tamers were beginning to freak out...while the Kunemon seemed to be rejoicing. This proved true, especially when a giant red beetle creature. Oh this was simply the toppest of funs here... "That's some major stroke of luck and star alignment to see a friendly username around here!" Elton laughed lightly, returning his attention towards Sammy for a moment. "...if only on better circumstances..." he pointed towards the menacing looking Digimon. Sammy looked over at Elton, and back at the beetle. “I remember the last time we had to deal with giant insects…” "Ugh...don't remind me. Poison beetles in a pit...that was bad time for all." “Hopefully this isn’t as bad as the o-“ She sees the two flying bugs emerge from behind the beetle. “…since when was this the first boss?” "Perhaps they changed things up from the Beta??" Elton suggested, though he too was curious on why this was the case. It was unexpected to say the least. Sequoia looks up at the bugs and grins a sharp, toothy grin. “…they’re gonna regret ever talking trash about my woods…” Berg glanced over at Sequoia and smirked slightly. "Oh your gonna be a treat to work with, I can just tell!" he chuckled. 'Emergency Mission: Defeat Kuwagamon and his Army' Accept or Deny (Teleport to Inn)? Elton looked at Aoki and Reef who already accepted the mission, before glancing at Berg who looked at him. The two nodded before he too pressed Accept, the words "Mission! Start!" appearing after. "You and your Digimon may want to hurry up and accept it, Sammy!" he flashed a smirk, already seeing Aoki and Reef go into action. Elton took his Digivice in hand and immediately called his DigiCard to his opposite hand (thank god for the Quick Inventory function) and slashed the card into the card reader. "DigiCard Activate! Surfimon!" Once more the Dash Slider hoverboard manifested itself from Berg as the Tamer hopped on it. "I'm going to try and get an aerial view on how we can deal with these. Berg, do your thing!" "With pleasure!!" Berg nodded, watching Elton ascend with the Dash Slider. He rushed forward and roared, aiming at one of the Flymon. "Baby Hail!!!"
  12. "...I can't believe it's almost like it..." Honestly...we anticipated it... Trevor and his grimoire just stared upward at this...giant ape-looking creature...who seemed, honestly for lack of a better word: lazy. Regardless, it was he, Aduian the fish, and the Ice Princess, Fen. A trio of them going into this office building to take care of this ape...an Office Ops. Had a ring to it, honestly. Nevertheless, Trevor followed Fen and Aduian upwards up the staircase. After all, why go through an elevator? That would honestly spoil the fun...and anyways, it was broken too. Once they arrived at one floor of the building, Trevor started looking around the area, seeing Fen do the same. Though now things were getting interesting...as now a total of six sloth-like creatures began to prepare a vigorous assault on them. "Alright, if you could-Never mind, I'll cover for you." "Oh my dear, by all means, let's cover for you." Trevor said, already moving to the side of Fen and immediately having his rings glow brightly. "Thundaga!!" he shouted, watching a storm cloud appear over the heads of the creatures and proceeded to strike down lightning bolts around them and even on them. "I'll be keeping the lightning show up for display a while longer...so if someone..." he smirked, glancing at Aduian. "...would like to add some water to the mix against these creatures, it would probably lead to a shocking conclusion. Once that's done, my dear, you can take off the stragglers!"
  13. The precise dilemma is I don't want to get rid of any moves for...Flash of all things. Like I know that everything in the nuzlocke is HM compatible, but just getting rid of moves just to be forced to use something Flash is...ugh...
  14. Corpus Reflections What was truly to say about Corpus? What COULD be said about this island? In truth, it was no Galatea, that was for sure. What do I mean about that, allow me to explain. On Corpus, there was no cult issue...there was no illness that turned the populace to stone...there was no Religious Council that would hinder the work of the gods or even deal with these "words of power"...the language of the gods...oh that is a different story all together... While Corpus is completely different than Galatea in more than one sense in a good manner, it's goods are outweighed by the bads. Corpus...an island that Dia rose from the depths of the seas in showing compassion and mercy to a runaway woman who left a loveless marriage...an island, unfortunately, that was a volcanic island. Rather than dealing with a simple cult occupying the dwellings of the various gods, the gods decided to have us meet with dealing with a volcanic island...along with a new word of power: E͘xǫlv̵u͞ǹt͘u̢ŕ, the Law of Cycles. A reset button to be utilized by the speaker, from what I gather...to reset the day's events, same time, disrupting the balance the gods themselves have set in motion. This was the word my mentor, Flynt, spoke to us. Alas, all he told me was that he heard this as if it were carried on the westward winds...almost provided for him. Upon further reflection, maybe by Taros' own enlightening, perhaps this was the one time that the gods wished for one of their words to be provided and used. It so happened that Flynt, no longer a Watchdog to the Master Forger, was wanting power once again...perhaps they deemed him worthy of the vessel to carry this word...perhaps I jumped the gun in reprimanding my mentor in this fashion. Perhaps the gods wished for the Watchdogs to take action before it was too late...I just hope what we did was enough. Dividing the people of Corpus...one half leaving and fleeing the island, via Olivander's plan...and the other simply remaining on the island but dealing with the thought of the volcano erupting at any point in time, only relying on Dia's divine help and calling out to her once more in the temple I built...neither was right...neither was wrong...we did what we thought was the correct answer, and that's all there is. Though, drawing my thoughts to a close...I will say...I almost lost myself. The Dog of Hinder, Olivander, spoke in such a manner...that almost made me give in to an emotion I haven't had going for me since the beginning of my tenure as Taros' Dog: anger and with it rage. To this extent, never before have I experienced something this terrible. Perhaps this is something that Hinder's Dogs can do...the words they carry is a secondary dagger...when the physical one will not work, the hidden one shall cut their prey to ribbons. If I didn't immediately meditate...the island surely would've become a battleground between Taros and Hinder...a thought I wish not to think of. Perhaps our next destination will hold something to where this shall no longer be anything I need to concern myself with...maybe...I pray that is the case...that this in-fighting between myself and Olivander ceases for good. Kitt lowered his pen, looking at his journal entry before simply closing the notebook and slipping it back into his bag. Soon he'd have to go mingle with the others to celebrate Finlay's 25th...otherwise he was sure Olivander and Flynt would both drag him out to do so. Taking initiative now would probably be best...the next island, he hoped, would bring fortune to both parties.
  15. The robot was fully functional again, surprisingly. Looks like the lemur did know what he was doing after all...so that was a good thing! And the cold deadpan responses from said "Chimera" were still about...eh, couldn't win them all. "I suppose this is where an Organic would...thank you all. I, fortunately, am beyond such weakness as a creation of the Great Doctor. However...I have my own way of showing gratitude." "Well, could be better than a thanks if anything..." Zane shrugged, following the robot along with the other two Mobians. He was expecting some sort of method to get back to civilization or something...but then again, he also wasn't expecting to see something along the lines of a MASSIVE armada battle ship, which simply caused the arctic wolf to let a small whistle happen in response to seeing it. "...yeah...no lie, this is better than a thank you." "This ship comes equipped with living quarters, dining, and entertainment facilities...even though it was mainly crewed by inorganics. The food on board is all dehydrated stock. I'm sure it will be up to Mobian standards. This is where I will command the ship." While Ken was basically having a spas attack with knowing Chimera would be the one piloting the ship, Zane was just getting a feel and look at all the bells and whistles this ship had at it's disposal. He had to hand it to the murder-bot, this was definitely a fine looking ship, even if a bit outdated in things...but that's probably cause it was built a long time ago. Nothing some elbow grease couldn't fix, he figured. "Now...are there any more questions before we depart?" "None on my end, honestly." Zane shook his head, before nudging Ken. "And don't worry! I'm sure our own personal friend, the murder-bot, won't do anything too crazy as our pilot...besides, like he said, I doubt ANY of us could really pilot this thing. Best leave it to the professionals."
  16. Pokémon evolutions have to stay the same...that's my one stipulation on all of this...that said... I ADORE the randomization that these randomizers have. The idea of any Pkmn having different moves and abilities just tickles me to death about it. Furthermore, the different Pkmn in different spots actually is a fun thing too. After all, just getting a random Pkmn on Rt1 and it be a high level Pkmn is just exciting to me.
  17. Bout to either bug someone to see if they still want to do a Retrospective or I'm off to do a Emerald Nuzlocke continuation to see if I work farther than Yui...in the meantime... ASK ME THINGS!!!
  18. Guardians. The time has come again for you to fulfill the job you were brought here for. There are two threats to this city that have come up that you are the nearest to and most capable to deal with. This was the message that Trevor and his fellow guardians woke to...and between the two jobs listed, there wasn't very many details provided. One would think that a boss like theirs would possibly give more details than just that...but alas, nothing more than what they were given: an office building with a frightful creature or a busy street with stones raining down...strange happenings all around. Same time...of all the things...a gorilla... The group got together to discuss their plans and from what Trevor could gather, it was two to one on the ratios of who was going where. Fen, the Ice Mage, was choosing the office while the Melissa, the Child of God and Morgan, the Zombie were choosing the street area. With that in mind, Trevor nodded slowly, before finally speaking up. "In the case of the two, we have some serious monkey business going on, so in light of this..." Trevor said with a smile. "I'll be going with the office crew. Dealing with the primate there shouldn't be as difficult as it seems." And yet, it does have a strong similarity to that book and movie you've watched back in our home world. "In truth it does...but alas, hopefully this isn't a similar scenario." Trevor quipped back to his grimoire.
  19. Elton and Berg were doing their best to grind up the levels they needed...though these Kunemon showed more and more that they weren't going to give up without a fight. And with the Diamond Dusts Berg was spewing out, it seemed like this would be more and more of a difficult situation. "Yo dude! You got this! Show the sunny centipede what Tamers can do!" Elton glanced up in the direction of where the voice came from, a young man with blue hair. Utilizing his hub, he saw the Username of said Tamer: OHKO-YO. Judging by the type of fighting style...generally the fact that he literally kicked the Kunemon like a soccer ball, he had a good reason to figure he was a Brawler Class. Guess more and more people wanted to fight physically with their Digimon rather than go the strategy route...oh well. he thought, watching Berg shoot out a few more Diamond Dust at the Kunemon, almost finally being rid of it...when OHKO-YO spoke again. "You too! Get the lead out and beat that thing would ya!" "We all aren't Brawler Class, my guy!" Elton shouted back, watching Berg finally take care of the Kunemon they were fighting against. "Alright...now we should mo-...BERG WATCH OUT!!" he shouted, watching another Kunemon rushing Berg. Elton quickly moved, grabbing his partner and diving out of the way, but once again he got shocked in the leg. "D-D-Damnit..." "Are you okay, Elton?" Berg asked in a worried tone. "D-Dandy..." he groaned, sitting up a bit. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw OHKO-YO's partner Digivolve into a Sangomon. Seeing this, Elton in response grabbed his own Digivice, starting to stand back up. "I think it's about time we evened the playing field, Berg." "Is it time??" Elton looked at his Digivice, seeing it beginning to slowly shine in a dazzling brilliance. "Looks like it...let's do it, Berg!" he said, holding his Digivice towards the Hiyarimon. The Hiyarimon seemed to have a happy look on his face as he began to glow in tandem with Elton's Digivice, beginning to warp and disassemble his body into a new shape...a new form. "Hiyarimon Digivolve to...." The light dispersed and the new version of Berg stood where the old one stood, the now ice dinosaur making a pose to show off. "BULUCOMON!!!" he said, flashing a grin. "Now we're talking!" Elton said, now pulling up Bulucomon's attacks: Baby Hail and Ice Mash. One was a ranged attack and the other was a close quarters one...this was ten times better than the Hiyarimon load out. "Alright...show em who's boss, Berg!" "My genuine pleasure!" Berg smirked, rushing towards the Kunemon. "Ice Mash!!" The blue dinosaur began to lay an assault down the centipede monster, using the icy claws on both it's arms, delivering an uppercut to launch it in the air. "And then...Baby Hail!" he roared, launching countless icicles towards the airborne Kunemon, basically juggling it in the air. "Hey Elton! How about you do that card thing now?" "Right, you hit Rookie...so meaning..." Elton held his Digivice and immediately entered his inventory, watching as the DigiCard he selected materialized in his hand. Having the card spin around in his hand for a moment, he grabbed it tight and slashed the card into the card reader portion of the Digivice. "DigiCard Activate! Surfimon!" he said proudly, watching Berg glow for a moment and then watched as the little blue dinosaur materialized a hover board before the two of them. "Alright! We got the Dash Slider!" "Less talking, hop on!" Berg said, already hopping onto the hover board with Elton following right behind. The hover board began to rise up as the duo locked onto the now falling Kunemon. "LET'S GO! LIGHTNING CUTTER!!!" Berg shouted as the Dash Slider began to accelerate at lightspeed towards the unsuspecting Kunemon and immediately hit...to which the latter immediately evaporated into it's data. "Yeah, that's it!" Elton cheered as he and Berg began to high-five each other whilst the Dash Slider began to slowly descend. "We got you to Rookie and we got access to the mode of transportation with my DigiCard too." "Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about! Can't wait to take on more of these guys now!" Berg flashed a cold grin, but was happy nonetheless.
  20. Sidetracked It wouldn't be long before Kitt finally saw Olivander again...but at the same time he saw a certain kid running off in the same direction Hinder's Dog was: it was David. And it made sense on where they were running off to...the direction of Old Man Jones' home. Always ends up with this, huh? he thought, in regards to things ending up at that abode since they're time here. While following after the pair, still a ways away, he passed by a young adult woman who seemed to be arguing with an older woman. Kitt, naturally, couldn't hear the initial argument and conversation due to his focus being solely on trying to get Olive back to the Swallow Tail, buuuuuuut as fate would have it...his focus would be cut rather abruptly. The young woman seemed to basically throw herself right in front of Kitt, which immediately caused him to hit the brakes on his stride and stop suddenly, as to not run right into the woman. "So, question -- oh, sorry, you looked busy but this is important too -- question: You really believe this temple will keep Mount Vermeer at bay, right? I know that sounds silly since you built the thing and all, but I do have to ask." she asked simply. "Oh uh..." Kitt cleared his throat, seeing Olivander and David start to get farther and farther away. ...I suppose this is something only he should be doing then. Just don't do anything stupid, Olive... he thought, before finally returning to focus on the young woman. "Yes ma'am. I believe that it will keep it at bay, so long as the people of Corpus will be willing to reach to Dia, which I believe they definitely will."
  21. Out of all the starters? Okay, this shouldn't be too much of an issue...SO I'LL ADD DIFFICULTY AND ADD THREE OF EACH (one for each type), because that sounds fun: Base Stage Fire - Charmander: As this wasn't obvious enough. Charmander and it's line has always been a favorite of mine...but same time, I just think the fire lizard is adorable...just look at it's face! Water - Oshawott: Unpopular opinion...Oshawott is good and adorable. It's an otter Pokémon so that already has something going for it...since otters are pretty adorable on their own. Just toss a scallop on one to make it Oshawott and somehow it makes it even more lovable. Grass - Rowlet: The grass barn owl actually is one of the favorite Bases for me in the Grass category. I adore Treecko, don't get me wrong...but there's just something about basket-birb that makes me enjoy it more. Maybe it's the grassy bowtie it has...who knows. Middle Stage Fire - Charmeleon Quilava: Johto starters don't get enough love...and honestly, I like the direction they were going with Cyndaquil and continued in Quilava. Honestly, the immediate fire hair design they had is just too cool. Water - Wartortle: Could've gone with Dewott for the whole enjoyment of the now beginning samurai aesthetic it was bringing forth, but I will say, Wartortle is a favorite of mine. The Middle class turtle is just...I dunno...I just enjoy it and it's design. Grass - Grovyle: The Middle of the Treecko line, Grovyle has a very sleek design to me. And I've enjoyed it overall...and that might also have to do with the fact of the Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky and the Grovyle Thief...don't judge me. Final Stage Fire - Charizard Incineroar: Since I'm trying to be fair to all...wrestler cat is here. It's bipedal rather than quadrupedal, and honestly...it's probably for the best. Yes, I know that people enjoy consistency with this, but seeing as how this turned out, Incineroar and it's design here are actually something that works. The Heel Wrestler aesthetic work here and I'm sorry that's the hill I'm dying on. Water - Greninja: Who didn't see this coming? I'm sorry, but while I adored the fiery mage of Delphox, Greninja immediately caught my attention with the whole general idea, design and even ability. PROTEAN IS AMAZING!!! Grass - Decidueye: ...I'm not even sorry for this...not in the slightest!
