  1. Keika found himself lost in his thoughts and with the walk, not paying much mind to his surroundings. He usually ended up in this type of mindset and movements, just moving and walking where he needed to go...not at all expecting what happened. One minute he was perfectly fine...the next, suddenly soaked thanks to a puddle and of course...an individual who seemed to appear out of complete nowhere. "Um... hey man, sorry about that, I didn't see you until it was too late." Keika looked at the young man. He was the cause of him being completely soaked. Beginning to shake off some of the water, he glared daggers at the 'Bounce Boy' the entire time. Slowly removing one of his earbuds, he scoffed lightly. "Yeah right didn't see me. Your VERY lucky I don't have a problem with rain or water..." he rolled his eyes, beginning to already start walking off. "I mean, have you dropped from the sky in the middle of the rain?" Hane asked as he shrugged. "I am many things, good sir, but actively malicious is not one of them," he paused. "Well, not usually, but no, this one's definitely an accident," "Whatever..." Keika rolled his eyes yet again at the Bounce Boy. "Look, I don't feel like being late for class...otherwise they'll toss my sorry ass in prison. So go on and bounce away...you've already hindered my flow so far." "Oh yeah, prison, that's a thing," he muttered. "Now... Are you sure you don't wanna reconsider what you just said. I'm warning you now, you're not gonna like it," Keika paused in mid stride, now slowly turning around to face the human dropper, removing the other earbud. "...are you...you can't be challenging me." he asked, almost in disbelief, shaking his head slightly. "Listen Bounce Boy, between the two of us, I think I'd be the one who would win whatever kind of contest you have in mind. And if it weren't for the guys in suits...RIGHT OVER THERE..." Keika shouted, drawing attention to the Hero Public Safety Commissions representatives, who were immediately forced to back away from their original hiding spot...just to stay hidden again. "...yeah, if it weren't for the asshole brigade following, I wouldn't have any issue laying you out right now." Hane looked over his shoulder, seeing the men going back to hiding. He flashed them all a peace sign before turning back to Keika. "Oh, you're so overconfident, it's adorable," Hane commented, almost wanting to reach over and pinch the boy's cheek. "But no, I specifically meant reconsider telling me to bounce away," Keika was none too thrilled about this. "Tch...overconfident? Doubtful. If I'm labeled as having one of those destructive Quirks, then it's obvious I can handle myself." Did he mean all that or was he just blowing smoke? At this point, anything to get this kid away from him. The young man sighed. "Whatever. If you want me to recall the 'bounce away' comment, fine. I'll recall it and say it again at a different time." "Cool, cool, because if I had bounced, I woulda landed in the puddle in front of ya, and splashed ya all over again," Hane admitted with a shrug as he began to walk. "And obviously, you can't handle yourself, or you wouldn't be here. C'mon buddy, keep up," he said as he passed Keika, playfully punching him in the shoulder. "Anyways, let's get outta the rain, yeah?" This guy...this guy got on Keika's nerves. It was just something about him. Maybe his cheery attitude or his obvious playful disposition. Whatever it was, he didn't enjoy it. He rubbed his shoulder some after the guy punched his shoulder, sighing greatly, just deciding to give in and get the hell out of the rain. "HEY! YOU DAMNED BRAT! I'm gonna beat the hell out of you, you freakin' demon!" "Well it seems I know why you're here. Assaulting poor, defenseless schoolgirls on their way to get an education? How low can you get?" Keika finally arrived on the scene and at the school campus, only to over hear this exchange. He glanced over, noticing immediately that it was the umbrella raving guy...and a demon girl, so that was something. He shrugged slightly, ignoring this because...yet again...it wasn't his problem, so he wasn't going to be bothered by it. He wiped his feet off, trying his best to get the soaking feeling off him. He could've used his Quirk, buuuuut at the same time, he figured his clothes wouldn't appreciate that right now. Yeah...and that's just what I need now. Man, fuckin' Bounce Boy... he thought, grumbling to himself.
  2. “I can take care of myself, thanks! But you said I don’t know something. You going to keep us in suspense, then, or what?” Alexandre glared in the direction Elsie after she said that, seeing her now in a higher position to assess the situation. "Tch...you honestly think I WANT to use what I'm talking about?" he said, with a low growl hinting within his voice. The witch obviously didn't understand...not one iota. He watched how pretty much the one Jaeger, Lachlan, apparently took the full force of that "Dragon Cannon". ...maybe next time stay out of the line of fire. he thought, glancing back over towards where Sieg now was standing after his bit of landing from that leap. He felt his muscles tensing up further: this was something he definitely wasn't expecting. Back in Farway he was always able to train and practice within the castle, after all, that was something Maurice wanted him to do further...just to get a mastery over his Jaeger abilities. But that one part...he always had trouble with. And right now, this little practice bout was something he wasn't expecting. And this was from the one who reeked of both a Jaeger and a human? Alexandre could feel himself trembling slightly. The hell am I supposed to do? he thought, before he felt something like a fist striking at him. He recoiled a bit and glanced around, not seeing much of anything at first. Then another strike hit him and yet again he recoiled. However he began to scan the room as quickly as he could, trying to find what the hell was going. That's when he saw it: a frog, a large one by most species sizes, but it was literally shooting it's tongue out and striking him with the force of a punch. He glared daggers at the frog, his claws getting a bit sharper as he even began to bare his fangs. "Seriously? Can...you...stop?!" Alexandre shouted, roaring slightly. This was annoying him to no avail...and he was getting mad. Before he knew it, Alexandre saw out of the corner of his eye movement. Sieg was now rushing towards him at a fast pace too. Alexandre began to growl, his teeth and claws bared as he shook his head some. "Fine...if you all want to see the beast..." he muttered, standing his ground as now he and Sieg collided with one another, making quite the smoke cloud from the impact. "Professor Jekyll!" Eric drug his eyes away from the scrying orb for a moment, still watching the proceedings of the battle in the gym and training area, to see one of his attendants with quite the worried look on their face. "Yes? What ever is the problem?" "I-It's your team of Jaegers, sir! Sieg is currently going toe-to-toe with them...a-and one of them happens to be-..." "The Beast?" Eric replied, dumbfounding the attendant. "Rest assured, I am fully aware of this. What a good portion of you people don't seem to comprehend is that I am allowing all this to occur. After all, these poor individuals haven't had a chance to spread out their wings, so to speak, and cut loose. And some in this group, need to be shown if they need protection, which is exactly what our dear Dragon Slayer is determined to find out." Silence filled the room again as Eric's eyes returned to the orb, seeing nothing but the smoke in view...but began to see the silhouettes of Sieg and one that was much larger and more imposing. "Ahhh, and now we've come to the fun part. Looks like our dear Frog Prince's annoying actions were just what were needed. Have fun with this, Sieg, my boy." he said, a grin appearing on his face. The smoke began to clear some, but from Robin and Elsie's points of view, they could see silhouettes...and one was pretty large. A deep, menacing growl was heard from the inside of the smoke...and in one fell movement...the smoke was dispersed. BGM Locked in a grappling power struggle with Sieg, where Alexandre stood, was now a hulking beast of a creature. Horns being much larger than Alexandre's, it having a pitch black fur and even quite a number of scales around some areas of the body and then the tail which dispersed the smoke in an instant. It began to growl in a feral manner, before letting loose a loud, deafening roar it did what it could to try and push Sieg back as much as it could. Now for this little sparring training match...the Beast...was released.
  3. Touché...touché indeed. What is the air velocity of an unladen European Swallow?
  4. Ahhhh the Mario Odyssey mechanic...one I actually enjoyed in the long run! Nooooooow you say "Mario Enemy"...so that'll be a large amount of anything. So with that in mind, I got a couple of answers for you (if the first option isn't allowed for obvious reasons): Bowser - Yeah, first option would be Bowser Koopa. Why? Well for a couple of reasons, the first is personal because at first I didn't like Bowser as a villain or character, but thanks to a machinima series with him as the main protagonist (yes you heard me right) as well as Super Mario Sunshine and all other games after, I've begun to enjoy the Koopa King as both a villain and a character. The second non-personal reason being this: HE'S THE KING TO AN EMPIRE IN THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM!! Imagine all the power and possible resources you'd have at your disposal with this! Screw trying to kidnap Peach and take on Mario...I'd be able to rework the whole Koopa Empire into something better! Koopas - Just the run of the mill Koopa that you find in the series. Sure, they happen to just be turtles, but in general I'm just reminded of the 1000 Year Door Koopa character, Koops. Dude isn't too bad of a character, so find a pretty cool Koopa and you should be set. This could also mean just Koopa Trooper or Paratrooper. Bob-ombs - Namely along the lines of the type of Bob-ombs like the king in Super Mario 64. Truth be told, yes they blow up...they're bombs, go figure. But at the same time...I'm fairly certain they'll just come back. Meaning you can explode and just come back like nothing happened. That's just my thought process on the whole thing...probably won't even happen like that.
  5. "Unfortunately, I don't think they would. As much as I would love for it to be that easy. Could always make a display, as in such a big of a scene that they'd have to be dumb not to investigate."
  6. The Duel was an eye-opener for David. His attempt at seizing victory against the Duel Captain, Avi...failed miserably. It was a Duel with his Time Thief deck against Avi's Toon deck. His strategy against the Duel Captain consisting of trying to snag his cards for Redoer's general Xyz Material turned out to work for a few turns...but at the end of it...didn't help him in the long run. While he took this loss gracefully, David unfortunately stood there after the Duels were finished, with a look on his face. He was in deep thought, very deep. "Well, that's probably good for today. But, aside from that, the only other thing I'd like to cover is critique. More importantly, critique that isn't my own. So, Captains, applicants, pizza girl, feel free to chime in with your own thoughts." The first to speak was the girl who dealt with the pizza orders, who apparently didn't have too much of a say about the Duels in general. She seemed to be a type of individual who didn't care one way or the other. But with no one else speaking up almost immediately about the thoughts about the whole situation, David figured he would speak up next. "Critiques aren't my type of thing, unfortunately. Though that applies to seeing others Duel. And unfortunately, I watched only one Duel while I was preparing for mine." David began, clearing his throat. "Peter displayed both skill and a strong knowledge of his deck, which I assumed has been after being quite familiar with them since day one. Regardless, his Duel against his opponent displayed quite a bit of power in his moves. However, in my own Duel against the one Captain...I can give my insight and thoughts on it." He adjusted his glasses and slowly crossed his arms. "I wasn't expecting to face a Toon deck. Against my Time Thief deck, it seemed like it was an obvious outcome. The dynamic of the deck being built for direct attacks against an opponent basically put me at the disadvantage. While I did my best to whittle away at his resources via Time Thief Redoer's ability, I didn't anticipate the swift response from the Duelist's deck in summoning things straight from the deck in the manner that was displayed." David paused, exhaling slowly before looking over at Avi. "Regardless of my loss from this, I take it as a major learning experience. I haven't seen someone Duel like that before and it's inspired me to improve as much as I can. If this is the level that potential Duelists aiming for Pro have...then I want to reach that level. I would like to learn from the Captains on how to better myself and even to allow me to test myself against them to see how far I've come."
  7. Forecast called for rain...some would think this would be a bad sign or just the start of a day that could go down the crapper. But for Keika, he didn't mind it. He didn't mind the rain, in fact he actually quite liked it. Rainy days just made him calm and it seemed like something that would definitely put him to sleep if he listened the raindrops hit against the house. Nevertheless, he found himself on this rainy day just finishing getting himself ready... His first day of class at Hairo's Academy for Shitkickers Troubled Youth...or something like that. With an audible sigh, Keika adjusted his uniform one last time before putting on his jacket. He moved over and slung his bag over his shoulder, after making sure he had stocked up on a few things of moisturizing lotion...something told him he might need that a lot today. He slipped his earbuds in and was about to start blasting his music, but paused as he moved and made his appearance known at the kitchen threshold. There his aunt and uncle sat, just enjoying their morning coffee. "...I'm heading out..." he muttered out. "Alright Keika. Have a good day!" his aunt said, smiling as she waved him off. "Try not to get into any fights, kiddo." his uncle snickered. "...yeah..." Keika shrugged, already heading out of the house. His music already blaring in his ears, and almost on cue...out of the corner of his eye, there they were. Guys in black suits, the representatives of the Hero Public Safety Commission. Or as Keika referred to them, "the Asshole Brigade". ...great. If I wanted an escort, I would've asked for it. his eyes rolled at this thought. Nevertheless, Keika found that they were following at a distance. It didn't bother him much, but he found it pointless since he was just going to go to this stupid academy to make sure he didn't go to prison. And what a stupid idea in general! Go to this school cause you happen to have a pretty destructive Quirk...oh and if you say no, it's obvious your a villain to be annnnnnnd we're gonna toss you in prison. Makes ZERO sense...whatsoever... While Keika was lost in his thoughts as well as jamming to the music, he passed a young man trying to wake up a horned girl...which he figured was weird. Regardless, rather than help, he ignored it. Right now he had no time to help with whatever was going on there...same with whatever that other guy who was raving about his stolen umbrella. Though he noticed the one girl...just something about her sent him the wrong vibes...chills even. He made a mental note, if she was happening to go to the same location he was, to avoid her at all costs. Let's just hope this won't suck. I mean, the fact that this school would accept someone like me with this damned Quirk when U.A., Shinketsu or Ketsbutsu didn't...? Tch...really says a lot about the educational system nowadays, I guess... Keika pondered, just letting the rain and the music keep him calm as he made his way to Hairo.
  8. "An excellent question, Nassor. For now, we are not to engage any sentient being in this new realm. We are to gather as much information as possible. Although, if it must come to self-preservation, I demand that you deal with any incoming threat swiftly and without mercy. After all, we do not know if we can still come back from the dead the same way we did before. Even though I'm a god of death, Resurrection is not something that can be done so easily. Unless you'd like to become a mummy! I shall remain here for the time. But worry not, I shall watch over all of your endeavors." Nassor simply gave a courteous nod and slight bow to the Pharaoh, hearing the answer he was pretty much assuming would be the case. After all, this was common knowledge for anyone in the mercenary field. You gather information without engaging any of the potential targets or those who have ties with the potential targets. And if things go awry...dead or alive they'd be coming with them. As Nassor watched Usaphaidos walk away from him, he would find that he would be approached by the reaper...of all people. "What a lame ass. Can't we just start the assault now? Who cares if mortals find out we're here? We'll just wipe them out like we always have. Say, how's about we scout together, Nassor? And by scout, I mean reap a few souls!" He looked in the direction of Jacques after his arm was around his neck. His eyes began to flare up with a strong fire. "Son...it's almost like ya didn't hear a word our superior said." Nassor commented, his voice crackling more with each word. "Them is the orders and I will be keepin' them to the letter. After all, I'm a mercenary under employment of the Pharaoh...therefore, my first priority is makin' sure my employer is satisfied with my work. Enough said." Nassor was quite serious about this. So try as the young reaper would, it was obvious the Fire Genasi was standing firm on this statement. "However..." he paused, moving his hand to push the young'n's hand away from his shoulder. "I reckon I could be persuaded to follow ya and scout out. Vorpu can take his posse and search an area...and we can search another. But lemme reiterate one thing, son...we are scouting and nothing more. If the situation calls for it...then we eliminate the opposition. Are we clear?"
  9. "USAPHAIDOS! ABYSSAL PHARAOH, AND GOD OF DEATH!" As expected, the royal highness of this pyramid, Usaphaidos, was in rare form. Most likely due to his joy of finding that this world no longer had it's shackles on him...but at the same time, another individual spoke: Jacques De'ville, a reaper. He would be a Grim Reaper in Nassor's eyes, but unfortunately, he was still in training, so there was no point in giving him such a title that he hadn't earned yet. Nevertheless, the reaper gave a suggestion that actually held merit: they weren't in the world they once were...this was completely new. The more Nassor thought about this prospect, the more he had to actually agree on it. By some force of magic and mysticism, they would be brought into a new realm...thusly freeing them from their shackles of 1's and 0's. It was a sound thought... "No. Just the opposite. If you aren't in touch with the Grim Reaper, but have also not been promoted, that means we have been transported to a brand new world. This is our first step towards understanding our current circumstance. We have much to learn, about this place. And that is my mission I give to you Floor Guardians. Your first order from Usaphaidos: Determine where we have found ourselves! You are all dismissed for now. You may ask me anything you desire, if you wish. But, let us make haste." There it was: the mission. And it seemed like a good number of these Floor Guardians had the same thought of venturing forth from the pyramid to seek what these lands have to offer to them and their Pharaoh. Of course, Nassor had every intention to join the Kobold, Vorpu, and his little posse on this excursion, but first thing was first. "I have a question, yer majesty." Nassor's voice crackled, holding up a hand quickly to have the being acknowledge him. "Nassor Khnurn, Scourge of the Graysins. Now I understand what this little mission ya presented us Floor Guardians with and that's all fine and dandy. But I reckon there's a specific way ya want us to conduct ourselves. I have no doubt that ya wouldn't mind if yer posse of Floor Guardians go in guns-a-blazin' to find answers fer this...but I'd prefer to get any specifics out the way early on." With that said, Nassor crossed his arms and exhaled slowly, smoke seeming to be escaping from under his bandana. "Now, would ya prefer us to use force right out the gate or would ya prefer us to be discrete and use force when the situation calls for it."
  10. "Something like that. Frankly, there's a lot of ways to do it. Sometimes, displaying true courage in front of the face of adversity is the key. Maybe it's protecting those dear to you, or even reaching out to someone in love. Hell, the ones after me just threw magical eggs at their Digimon to make them power up, and some Digimon can fuse together to make a stronger being. It's wild and varied and I can't tell you how it works for you. Only you can figure it out." Chris nodded, catching something before he watched the teacher depart: 'the ones after me'. There was more to this teacher than just being a general 'badass' with everything he was doing the last few days. Regardless, that would have to come after he returned home and got his own things. "Alright Quill, let's get going. Need to gather those supplies." Chris looked down at the Herissmon, who gave a thumbs up. "Sounds like a plan..." Home sweet home...least that's what it's supposed to be. But the moment Chris walked right into the house...it just felt...like it was nothing. Devoid of any life... It was enough to make the young man breakdown into tears, but he knew he had to keep going. He walked further into the house, up the stairs to his room. A bit messy and a bit tidy...just like he left it the week before. An audible sigh escaped his lips as the young man shook his head. ...just isn't the same now... Quill looked around the room, seeing quite the items around Chris' room, while he let his partner just grab a bag and begin to gather a few things. "...is that one of your hobbies?" Quill piped up, pointing at a picture of Chris in a baseball uniform, swinging a bat. "Yeah. Baseball is just one of those things that just sprung out to me...it's something I feel really connected to." Chris nodded, putting a few clothes into his bag. Then he remembered something. He moved over to his closet, opened it and pulled out another baseball bat. It was similar to the other one he currently had in his other bag, but he figured he would need a second one. He took the bat bag off and immediately shoved the second bat into it. "C'mon...need to see if there's anything else we need to bring." The essentials: toiletries... food and water... clothes... the spare first aid kit... Chris was fairly certain the other students would be bringing what they could from their own houses, but extra never really hurt. It was also a good thing that his dad left a few things for camping laying around...wait... "...that's right...we were going to do that...weren't we?" Chris paused, looking at the camping items that were right beside the living room couch. "Huh? What were you going to do, Chris?" Chris sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "...you ever heard of camping?" he asked, seeing Quill wave his hand in a 'meh' fashion. "To put it simply, it's where friends and family usually go out from their home and head over someplace out in the woods or in an area called a campground and they basically just enjoy being out in nature." Quill nodded slowly. "...we Digimon generally do that anyway...well, those of us who aren't machine based anyway." "So you get it...somewhat." Chris nodded, before looking back at the camping equipment. ...and it would've been later that weekend when we would've gone... One Week Earlier "Ahh...that should do it!" Chris came down the stairs to his father lugging a few sleeping bags, a tarp and even a tent out of a hall closet. He let out a chuckle, reaching the bottom step, slipping his shoes on. "Is it already that time of the year, dad?" "Oh Chris, thought you left already!" his father smiled, wiping his brow some. "It sure is. Come this weekend, we'll be heading out and having that annual camping trip. I think this one will be even better, since we all need that time to just unwind from the hustle and bustle from the everyday." "Yeah I'll agree with that." Chris nodded, smiling. "Any time away from school would be a great idea." His father only laughed a bit, shrugging. "Not like you have anything to worry about. Only thing you'd want to be away from is probably your teammates from the team." "...please don't remind me." Chris groaned. "It's just crazy...but we'll be alright. Anyway, I gotta head on off, otherwise I'll be late." "Well, have a good day kiddo. Mom's gonna be making some lasagna tonight, so make sure your practice doesn't run too long!" "No worries, I won't!" Chris smiled, waving his father goodbye as he headed out. Chris looked at the sleeping bags, tarp and tent once more before picking up the tarp, sleeping bag and tent. He shuffled those things in together with his other stuff, trying his best to keep his composure...but it wasn't helping. A few tears began to roll down his face. He did his best to wipe them away, as he quickly handed Quill a few things and cleared his throat. "C'mon...g-gotta get back and meet with the others..." "Chris...are you going to be alright?" Quill asked, following the human out the door. Chris nodded slowly, immediately locking the door behind him once Quill walked out. It was a force of habit...though he knew nothing was going to happen now. "...y-yeah, I'll be alright. Now...let's get back to the others and get going..." he said, stifling back the tears as he made his way back to the others.
  11. David watched, arms crossed, seeing Terry following after Avi and then Makoto following Charlie. Process of elimination, since Charlie had already Dueled Peter and is now Dueling against Makoto, he would most likely be Dueling against Avi. So now...it was time for him to make a quick check...one last time. He immediately took this moment and sat down, taking his deck box out. With a quick movement, he pulled out the deck he worked so hard in putting together, holding it in his hand. With an exhale, he moved a bit and placed down a mat on the ground before proceeding to spread the deck out over it. He wanted to take one last look at everything in order to prep himself for his Duel. Could he have started watching Avi's Duel against Terry to learn how the Duelist worked? Yes, but at the same time, he figured he'd let the Captain's secrets in his Duel Style remain just that: a secret. Not knowing what he would be up against would be part of the fun. Alright. Gist of the situation being simply this: do what I can to both survive as well as disrupt the Captain's plays. David thought, glancing over his cards. He knew how Time Thief worked inside and out: form Redoer and disrupt the opponent by "stealing" the top card from their deck to add as Xyz Material to gain effects. But simply going after Redoer wouldn't help, the opponent most likely would be expecting this. Therefore, counter measures should be decided. ...if he finds a way to disrupt Redoer, I'll bring forth Perpetua, that way I'll bring Redoer back into the fray. That combination there should also last me some time in order to formulate a strategy. he adjusted his glasses, nodding. It all boiled down to what this Captain's general play style and their moves would entail, therefore would dictate what moves he himself would have at his disposal. With another exhale, he scooped up the cards and then took Time Thief Redoer in his hand, looking directly at it. ...we can do this. I'll show them what I can do...this will be the starting line of my Pro Duelist career!
  12. "Jeez, have a little pride or something. Well, when I went out before I found this place. It's only open at nights so...I was gonna head there. You can follow if you'd like." Chase shrugged and let Sid have that little "pride" comment slide, not wanting to go into detail about him actually having plenty of pride in his work. But nevertheless, he heard the little suggestion about the place Sid said, so of course he had one thing to say. "Sure, I don't have a problem with that. So lead on." Now this was both something he didn't expect about this place...but at the same time given how he figured Sid was, it also made sense. The music, punk rock from the sounds of it, blared over the speakers and it seemed like quite the lively place. Even seeing the band was actually pretty nice...hey they were pretty cute and they could definitely rock out...and that was pretty amazing to him. "Don't get lost. Or trampled." "I'll try not to..." Chase nodded, watching Sid slip into the crowd, as he shrugged a bit and decided to follow after the guy. The dude seemed to know his way around here and he seemed to have a handle on what was going on here too. Try and stay around him, try not to stand out too much...I can do this.
  13. Alexandre was quite pleased at first on what was going on between himself and Sieg with this bit of training. That was, until this almost screech of disappointment from one of the other Jaegers took him by surprise. By screech, it didn't mean that Elsie was literally screeching at him, but rather that it seemed similar to that regard...it was no offense to her whatsoever, but this seemed to be one of those moments where it really didn't need to be had. He was already getting irritated from this... “That’s it? Hey! You’re just going to throw a punch and then talk about it for a bit? That’s not- that’s not why I invited everyone here, you know. I said something like, ‘Oh, if you want to come fight,’ and then I went all the way up there to get a good view and it’s like, I wouldn’t have done any of that if it was just going to be, like, a slap to the chest and that’s it. Frog boy and I had this whole thing, too. Like, there was a chase and there was fancy flying and some brilliant magic involved if say so myself. I mean, you agree with me, right? I don’t know if you do any of that, but, I don’t know, this stuff? I know we don’t want to kill each other just yet but it seems like a waste of time, don’t you think? Your time, if not mine.” "...you don't get it." Alexandre began, beginning to slowly look in the direction of Elsie, his fist beginning to clench slowly. "I want to see...how far I can go without using th-..." "Quite right girl. If you boys are going to have a little wrestling match I suggest you go full force and get to it, at the very least make it a spectacle to watch. I mean you don't want your teammates to think all your capable of is some gentle shoving do you? Make it flashy for us!" The young Jaeger began to get a bit more irritated, his fist clenching a bit tighter now. "...don't...provoke me...you don't know what's really lying beneath the surface." he began to growl deeply. However, he saw Sieg approach him and the three almost immediately, hoping he'd be able to diffuse the situation. Oh how wrong he was... "Sorry...,I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding. My power's hard to control, so I had to make sure I knew Alex's limits before I did anything too flashy. But... if it's flashy training you all want... Then flashy training all three of you shall receive!" Without so much of another word, Alexandre felt Sieg pushing him back forcefully towards Robin, seeing him getting into a stance almost as quickly. "...what the hell was that, huh?!" he asked a bit harsher, getting pretty peeved at this point. Between the witch and this little changling frog thing...and now the Dragon Slayer knocking him back some, this was all just beginning to piss him off. "Dragon's Cannon!" Alexandre's eyes went wide as he watched Sieg launching a ball of energy towards them. He began to curse a bit, as he did his best to keep his surroundings checked. That's when he noticed something...Sieg wasn't behind where the ball was anymore...only a dent was. He took his eyes and began to survey the area, before taking a quick notice at the area above them. His eyes widened again as he watched the Dragon Slayer falling at an alarming rate towards them...prepared to slam them. "Damnit..." he scoffed, before glancing over and grabbing Robin's arm and yanking him a bit and launching him in the direction of Elsie. "You two...MOVE!!" he roared, doing his best to dodge the attacks...though he figured he'd be hit by one. Damnit! ...I'm going to have to use it right now...aren't I? ...fine...guess I'd have to let it out eventually...

  16. BGM Outside the Pyramid of the Abyss, leaning up against the structure...he stood. It felt like a lifetime ago, when it was rather just a few measly seconds. Nassor Khunrn contemplated this newfound freedom he felt, whilst watching the mercenary camp he was in charge of. Even before his reintroduction to these lands, he was shackled by a series of just ones and zeroes...entangled by the coding of this little game. How odd it felt for the Gunslinger to...well...feel. Nassor began to slowly lift his hand, looking at the back and then at the front of it. Before too long, he snapped his fingers, watching a spark followed by an immediate flame begin to develop from his hand. With a slight sigh, he shook his hand slightly and watched the flame snuff out. It was clear on one thing: he could still remember everything. From his history to the skills he had as both a Genasi and Gunslinger...to even his spells. "Hmph...I don't know what sort of trick this is...but whoever is responsible for this, I'll have to find them and thank them personally." he spoke, his voice crackling as flame. The Fire Genasi just stood there, continuing to lean against the structure, until movement caught his eye. In a swift motion, the Gunslinger had immediately armed himself and fired a single shot at the ground near something's feet, without even looking in the direction he shot. After a few seconds, he slowly turned his head to see that he sent a warning shot in front of an undead mummy. He scoffed lightly, immediately holstering his weapon. "Yer lucky. If I wasn't in such a good mood, I would've sent one straight into either yer head or yer chest. Then again, that's the first time that felt right to me. So, what do you want?" In no short attempt of communication, the mummy only seemed to beckon for Nassor to enter the pyramid. "Oh I see. Very well, I suppose it's time I present myself to his royal highness anyway." Nassor shrugged lightly, moving from his leaning position and immediately passed the mummy, who followed right behind him, albeit at a much slower pace as it shambled off in a different direction. Nevertheless, Nassor continued to move on forward, making his way up the pyramid's floors.
  17. “Battle! Chaos MAX Dragon, blow through Fluffal mouse and continue right on to the captain!” To his surprise, but not so much his thoughts, Peter ended up pulling something out for the turn, but also clutched the win for himself against Charlie. David nodded slowly, his hand going straight to his chin. "An interesting play from the prodigy. Trade-In then to Bingo Machine...then bringing forth Chaos Max. Going the route of a Ritual Monster finish...while a bit lackluster, it did the job." he said, watching Charlie and Peter shake hands. "As expected from the prodigy, but the Co-Captain seems to be just as strong..." David somewhat dismissed Hana and her pizza talk, still a bit focused on the Duel and the whole situation that was unfolding in this manner. Nevertheless, he was sure that these Captains had exactly what it took to push him further into becoming a Pro Duelist. After all, if that was what Charlie could do...what could their partner, Avi, do? "I can duel the next one while we wait for it, though. Might as well get this over with.” "so you were all in the middle of tryouts or something right? Go on, keep at it." He was silent as another person walked in, a young woman, and at the same time, Avi offered to Duel the next applicant for the Duel Team as they awaited the...impending pizza party. David adjusted his glasses slightly along with his shirt some. He looked over towards Terry and Makoto, clearing his throat. "Ladies first. Would either of you ladies care to be next? If not, I will take the next Duel."
  18. "Very true, Rider. Well, Mr. Lando, I believe we'll bid you a good day. And once again, I do apologize for the entirety of this little situation." >Gets up and prepares to leave "Now, we should probably set something up for the bait in our trap. Aside from myself or you, we need to think of a better alternative to this."
  19. "Okay, okay, so this time, the idea is for you," "Stiiiill not putting me at ease here, Sai." Souji muttered, adjusting his shirt slightly after his roommate stopped holding onto his shoulders. "Alright...so go for it." "Okay, so you know how you play E-HEROs and they're Tokusatsu as hell? Well, any good Tokusatsu protagonist gets a suit upgrade, and some of the more recent ones get transforming suits. So, that's what I'm going to make you, a transforming suit!" This...actually piqued Souji's interest, hearing his roommate speak about this. It struck the side of him that absolutely adored the Tokusatsu culture in the world, after all, that's one of the reasons he took the costume inspiration from the Masked HEROs that had yet to be introduced into the world of Duel Monsters. Not only that, he took the style of heroics just from that style of the culture as well. Damn you Sai...you struck that chord with me. It better be damned worth it. He watched as Sai immediately left the bathroom and dove back into the room, to which Souji just followed behind to see his roommate grabbing a Duel Disk and an empty case, which he immediately strapped along his waist. Now this was a design choice at least. "Wait, wait, lemme pitch what I got so far. Okay, okay, imagine this. So, Imma make a custom Duel Disk, right? Make your belt the graveyard while you have an otherwise normal duel disk, right?" "Alright...you've got my attention thus far." he said, taking his hand and practically telling him to get on with it. "Now, I use Polymerization to fuse Whatitsname and Whocares! Now, by combining the powers of forgetfulness and apathy, I call forth a new power! Whatitsname! Whocares! Fusion Summon is a go! Henshin! Don'tgotaname!" This was something that made Souji almost laugh, seeing Sai try his absolute best to pretend to be him...though, it was almost as good as the real thing, though it was barely that. Regardless, he kept himself quiet just to see and hear what Sai specifically had in mind for this. "And then your costume transforms into a form that resembles the fusion monster you summoned. I think if all goes according to plan, and if I don't get distracted, I can have this done by next week. Whatcha think, Souji?" Souji was about to say something, but at the same time he began to think about the whole appearance of what this would do for him. He just stood there, starring at Sai and then immediately went wide-eyed slightly as he looked at the floor. He moved quickly and shuffled over to his desk and grabbed his Deck Box, immediately fishing out his Fusion Monsters. Holding one up and then another...and then another. After a few moments, he began to imagine himself in the scenario of the suit's debut. A suit...which practically made him every HERO Fusion he had. Then he looked down at the last Fusion card he hadn't grabbed yet: Contrast HERO Chaos. He slowly held it up, beginning to slowly turn around to face Sai. A smile began to creep across his face, his gaze finally resting on his roommate. "...Sai...you absolute...genius." Souji said, beginning to chuckle. "This might be, the best idea you've ever had! If you can do this, then I think that'll definitely raise the ante of Entertainment Dueling. The Solid Vision within Duel Space is one thing, but what your suggesting is utilizing both Solid Vision and Duel Space in the manner of having a Duelist evolve with each turn with this idea. ...all while staying true to the roots of Tokusatsu." He moved over towards his roommate and put a hand on his shoulder, giving him a thumbs up. "You've got me interested and I'm down 100% with this concept!"
  20. Souji finished getting himself dressed and was in the midst of brushing his teeth, when he got a message. With one hand holding his toothbrush, he pulled out his phone and looked down to see what the message had on it and it was from Kyouko: That all for today's agenda? To be truthful, Souji figured that was what was going to take most of the time of the club meeting, but then again he also thought of something else. He then proceeded to type a response message to the group chat, but he stopped. Why tell the whole group about this? It would be a surprise to others and she'd be excited. So instead, he sent Kyouko a solo message. A good question there, Kyouko. I believe that might take up a good portion of our time, but I'm also fairly certain you'll want to see what the Sorcerer Supreme has. Keeps saying it's a prototype, but it might just be what you need. I'll probably see if I can coax him into bringing it. Also this stays between us, but Sai was like a giddy school girl when I handed him that design, so it really was that great apparently. With that being sent, Souji slid his phone back into his pocket and resumed the teeth-brushing...that was until... "Souji Souji Souji!!" Souji immediately felt hands on his shoulders and was forcefully spun around to now face the wide eyed Sai, who did just wake up...but this was pretty impressive to him. He still had the toothbrush in his mouth, it currently just hanging in there as he was about to say something, but then heard the next words from his roommate. "I was inspired!" He held up a finger, to turn back around and spit what he had in his mouth out and rinse before putting the toothbrush down. Wiping his mouth off, he looked at Sai with a eyebrow raised. "Sai...every time you say that, I get worried. The first time you said that, the idea you had was great. I mean hell, the idea of utilizing pyrotechnics in the manner you had for a grand opening in your one Duel last year was amazing." Souji then began to sigh, before rubbing the bridge of his nose. "...the last time you said you were inspired, it was just bad...terrible even. I mean, technicolor dream coat for the headmaster, when you can tell they happen to be colorblind?" With a slight shake of his head, Souji sighed again. "...however, I am your friend, so I'll indulge you...since you seemed to be on a roll after you got Kyouko's design. So, what's the idea this time?"
  21. I finally beat KH3 today (only cause I just found out Re:Mind comes out this week). The end literally punched me in the gut with emotions...and now I have more questions than I had at the end KH3D and Fragmentary Passage. Damn you Nomura!!!

  22. This seemed to be going absolutely nowhere. Berserker had both Rider and "Lancer" in his hands and right now, Souta was just trying to figure out how to properly assess the situation. Right now, neither of his general magic would assist him at the moment, not without putting Rider and "Lancer" in harms way. But, fate began to twist again and add another into the fray... "Damn, this isn't ideal. Ah, I didn't know we were in the presence of such a lovely lady. And she seems to have a strong servant as well. Would you mind lending your talents and helping us take down Berserker?" "Hmm... well, Archer. Now's the time to show your stuff," Souta looked and noticed a young blonde woman with what he could only describe as a Western gunman. This, from the sounds of it, was Archer and his Master. This is...definitely something I wasn't expecting to happen either. "Lancer", then Berserker...and now Archer? he thought, moving back some. "A hand would be much appreciated! Master, I'd suggest you go to that other Master. I'm going to take Berserker's attacks head on!" He began to grit his teeth slightly, beginning to not take kindly to being told what to do again. He was being lenient when not only Rider but Akira did it too...but right now, he was definitely getting on the side of annoyed with this. Regardless, Rider, who now freed himself with a quick Mana Burst and summoned up a strange shield weapon, was right about asking the Master of Archer for assistance. So he bit his tongue and kept this quiet...for now. "...very well." Souta said, moving a bit further back as he now stood within earshot of the young woman. "Evening madame. I'd be a bit more cordial with you, if it were under much better circumstances, but unfortunately we seem to be dealing with the worst out of the cardinal classes...on night one."
  23. Jet looked over at Shannon, seeing her smiling after he said what he said, but something seemed off. Did he possibly say something to upset he-....oh...right. It was most likely the half-hazard remark regarding it not being like Zirco's Duel, wasn't it? Jet could mentally face palm at this point, but only stayed as emotionless as he usually looked. He knew good and well he'd hear about that remark later...he just knew it. "What you do now...? That's obvious! You tell me everything. I set all this up to summon someone, but it looks like none of that was necessary at all! All I needed was to be patient and you'd show yourselves anyway! So let's start with this one. How many years were you down there?" "Down where? In Cradle City? Why, my entire life. At least before I met my friend Jet and a couple others." And after that, it was like they were back to square one with this whole scenario. Jet, however, remained silent throughout this little talk. That was, until he heard tires screeching outside of the stadium. The young man looked at Shannon before moving quickly back to where they parked their D-Wheels at. W-Who's a-a-around here...b-besides us? he thought, running down to the area where the D-Wheels were. Unfortunately, all he saw was the small silhouette of what he could assume was a D-Wheel, he believed anyway, just vanishing out of sight. Just like that...they were literally back at square one. With a defeated sigh, he was prepared to return back to where Shannon was, but heard the noise of radio chatter coming from their helmets on their D-Wheels. Jet moved quickly to his and immediately caught the last bit of what was broadcast. "Yo, it's Zirco. We beat those cops, but Tora broke her leg when one of those bastards were a sore loser and made her wreck her D-Wheel. Gil's taking her to get medical attention. So... yeah, tell me you got better news." This wasn't any better news, if Jet was being completely honest. First Leiko, then Hotaru and now Tora was out of commission too? Was Project Crimson just cursed at this point? He felt slightly sick to his stomach just thinking that all this experimentation might've been all for naught, but he steeled himself slightly in order to press forward with this current situation. "S-S-Shannon! Need y-y-you here f-for a moment...Z-Zirco is on c-com..." Jet shouted back into the stadium's halls for Shannon to hear, before he exhaled slightly. Then he began to reply to Zirco. "Z-Zirco...t-this is Jet. W-W-We arrived at the s-stadium, n-n-no Kyouji...b-b-but w-we found a w-w-weird girl by the name of A-Alex. ...s-she s-says KaibaCorp is e-evil...k-k-kidnapping kids o-off the streets...I-I think s-she m-m-might be referring to the P-Project w-we're in...but I'm unsure. A-Also, s-s-someone else was here...b-but they w-were l-long gone by t-t-the time I got out here..."
