  1. "Clark-san. I agree with Shiba-san, we cannot allow this man to take Silver-san away." At least Katsurou was on his side...though that seemed to be the only one, as now Misu was approaching Yuudai. "Who the hell are you to say where Silver goes anyway!? Isn't that for the freak to decide himself! He's obviously not some kinda wild animal. The thing can think, and it doesn't wanna go with teach." "I was never making the decision for him! I...uggggggh..." Yuudai groaned, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "This is not the time for this. Bottom line, Silver needs help and I'm going to help him!" "It doesn't get a say in this. That thing is government property...and the government wants it back. As a government agent...I don't get a say on the matter either. It's coming with us...now be good students, and do as your teacher says. Step away from Scarlet Skeleton...he's dangerous." S-Spring Lock? ...wait, Scarlet Skeleton? he thought, looking at Spring Lock before glancing over at the guy that was called Scarlet Skeleton. He was "dangerous", but was he? Cause if that was the case, why didn't he immediately attack him and Valerie when he had the chance? Cause there was PLENTY of opportunity to do this. Unfortunately, his train of thought was cut short between Misu and Spring Lock apparently prepared to go at one another. But even more than that... "What do you think, Silver? You wanna go with Crimson?" "I do not know who to trust here Valerie Clark, besides you and the boy named Yuudai. But you seem to be at odds..." "At this point I don't think you can avoid both the government and Crimson's group. Sorry to say but right now I think your best bet is to go with him. I get the feeling this 'hero' isn't going to be very gentle about it." "I understand...I shall go with this Crimson...but I believe you will find yourself in conflict with the others..." Yuudai stood there, clenching his fists as well as beginning to grit his teeth slightly. His fists could be seen trembling slightly, as he looked at Valerie and then at Crimson...then finally at Silver. The choice was made...and as much as he wanted to stop him from making that choice, that would've been a bad idea. At this point, he tried his best to put himself in Silver's position. Who would he go with? Who would he side with more? He truthfully wanted to say, he'd side with a Pro Hero. But at the same time...something about the way Spring Lock said things made him wonder. That thing was apparently government property...that THING. That there, just made Yuudai more upset than when Suda had said it. In the end, he ended up thinking the same way... And at this point, even Misu's words to him was actually getting to him. His...decision... he thought with a defeated sigh. Maybe this was a bad idea...maybe it wasn't, truthfully, Yuudai had no clue. But, a hero most likely would respect the choice that was made by someone like him. "I pray we meet again, Valerie Clark." "SILVER!!" Yuudai shouted, not wanting to watch the creature dash away, only held his arm to the side and gave a thumbs up. "...k-keep safe. Really hope...we see each other again." Silver nodded to the boy. "May our paths cross again...on better terms..." With this done...Yuudai lowered his arm and sighed greatly. This was the most idiotic thing he could ever remember himself do in most of his life. He just stood there and let Silver run off with someone that even a Pro Hero was saying was dangerous. Actually...no...that wasn't EVEN close to being the most idiotic thing he'd ever remember doing. No, no, no...that was what he did NEXT. BGM "I sure hope you know what your doing, Val!" Yuudai shouted, running past her and making his way towards the left side of Spring Lock, basically going full tank at this moment. His chain-like muscles whirling to life as he moved to strike at Spring Lock. "Really sorry!" "You too huh?" Spring Lock said, looking to the side as Yuudai approached. His sheer approach velocity was enough to fend off the flames, but he was totally open from a strike from the side. Yuudai really didn't want this to go this direction, but it had to be done. He began to grit his teeth, launching a straight right hook at Spring Lock. His chain-belt muscles whirling even more to assist in helping deliver a strong enough punch. The sound of a winding, tightening sound hung in the air. When Yuudai's punch connected, he would feel Spring Lock's side almost meet the blow pound for pound, almost repelling his entire attack back. "T-Tch...nothing doing..." he grumbled, surprised to see that his attack did absolutely nothing. Then again, this was a Pro they were dealing with. Yuudai watched Spring Lock beeline it into the flame stream, which definitely surprised him. Nevertheless, he made his way back around, getting towards Valerie's side and preparing to strike. I have to be careful...otherwise I'm going to end up on the ground with my muscles strained... But...gotta at least give enough time for Silver to high-tail it outta here. he thought, steeling and preparing himself to strike at Spring Lock the moment he emerged from the flames.
  2. Chase was about to make his move to speak to Merlin about joining the Sun Lizards, however, his fun and opportunity went flying out the window like a small mech bird. "BOMB, as I said, we can't accept them yet, remember? As much as you want more members you have to follow protocol as well." This caused Chase to sigh slightly, as the young man stopped himself and turned on his heel to avoid having them basically tell him he would have to wait...like the others were being told. That kind of sucks, to be honest... he shrugged, trying his best to keep enjoying the party. Trying to join one of the houses...would've been a great opportunity to do so around here. Eh, guess this academy does things differently. Oh well, guess I'll have to just wait until tomorrow...or whenever. With that, Chase got himself another drink and started sipping on it, whilst doing his best to mingle around again.
  3. "That's the spirit! Let's go." Honestly, Gavin wasn't expecting to spend his time hanging with Cyan of all people. The guy seemed like the type to hate his guts, but then again, being this "Lion Sin of Pride" probably would do that to a guy and give him the air of being someone who was quite the jerk and an down right ass. Luckily, that wasn't the case. Nevertheless, he followed the demon towards the bar and he watched him make a beeline straight for a few empty seats at the bar itself. With a bit of a shrug, he followed suit and sat up at the bar. It seemed like something had caught Cyan's eye, but Gavin made no such effort to ask. Didn't feel like prying on this guy's obvious search or examining of whatever. "Hey, ya know anything about her? Never seen her around these parts... and I'm very familiar with these parts." "Hm?" Gavin looked in the direction that Cyan motioned towards, seeing the girl in question. "Sorry to say, but she doesn't look very familiar to myself either. Could have VEX do a possible facial recognition search...but that may actually take too long." "You would be correct, Gavin." "What, did you think I'd not take into consideration that things like that would be a bit difficult for you?" he chuckled, before shrugging. "If anything, I could have my Surveillance-Bots possibly do some recon for us if need be...but to answer you, Cyan, I don't know anything about her."

  6. "Remember, 2 AM is the optimal time for you to summon your servants." These words of assistance from Caren Hortensia still rung within Souta's mind, as he stood near a window, looking at the moon shining high in the Californian sky. It was quite a different sight from Japan...even from Clock Tower. Nevertheless, he sighed and pulled out a pocket watch out from his jacket, opening it up quickly. The time read 1:50 AM. In ten minutes, he would have the proper conditions to summon up his Servant within this Holy Grail War. Closing the pocket watch, he sighed once more before turning on his heel and began to walk away from the window...the time had come...he had to do this. The summoning circle is just about done... Souta thought, putting the finishing touches on the summoning circle. It was just how shown to do at Clock Tower and during his studies. It required the summoning circle, quite a large amount of mana, an incantation and/or chant, and if necessary...a catalyst. I would've actually been fine without the last piece to this...but I was given at least something to utilize as the catalyst. Once he finished the summoning circle, Souta stood up and made his way towards a case he brought from leaving Clock Tower and the Mage's Association. He opened it and looked at what contents it held inside...or rather, content. A shard of some sort of wood with strange etchings on it. He had held it once before, and just like this moment before, Souta could still feel some sort of heat...or something emanating from this piece of ordinary wood. Truth be told, he didn't know who left this catalyst with him, but only knew that this here would assist him in the summoning of a Servant. He took the shard of wood and placed it on a pedestal near the summoning circle. Another heavy sigh began to escape his lips as the young man made his way back away from the circle. Unsheathing his rapier, Souta also removed one of his gloves, preparing to cut his palm slightly to provide the blood necessary. However...he stopped for a moment. Looking at his right, Souta noticed a mirror and looked at his reflection stare back at him. The grip on his rapier grew tighter, as he too stared back at the stranger in the mirror. This wasn't who he was...he knew this...but what else could he do? ...for the returning of glory to the Aozaki clan... he thought, closing his eyes and turning away quickly, swiftly making a cut to provide the blood. There the blood began to drip onto the summoning circle...and for extra measure...he added his own Wind magic into the mix. "Fill...Fill...Fill...Fill...Fill...repeat five times, but destroy each when filled. My will creates thy body and thy power creates my fate. Heed my call, according to the Holy Grail's will. Raise thyself and fight at my side. Let us follow the wind, against all barriers and walls shall prevail. From the Seventh-Heaven clad, in accordance with the great words of power...come forth from the circle of binding, Great Heroic Warrior!"
  7. "This 'geezer' is here to relocate this creature. If he can't stay here, we'd gladly take him off the park's hands, and give him a safe home." "I'd like to think he's telling the truth. But dunno if I feel comfortable handing you off to someone I just met. Hey you think you can scan him like you did me?" "His mind is stronger than yours...less open...but from prying I cannot sense ill intent..." Crimson's mind was...less open? Was that meaning he was blocking out Silver's scans? Something about this just made Yuudai uneasy...but he couldn't just tell what it exactly was, but he wasn't liking the feeling. "Ah, hell. Go on then, get him out of here. If this is a trick I'll be first in line to kick your ass, though." It's that easy for her? ...what in the world is she thinking? Yuudai looked at Valerie, glancing at Crimson and then over at Silver, about to speak...unfortunately...stupidity happened...in the form of Suda. ...Pinning Silver with his Quirk. "And just what the in the hell do you think you're doing!? We had orders to capture this thing, not leave it with some forest hobo. Well, what are you waiting for? Help me catch this damn thing! I can't hold it like this forever." A furious look appeared on Yuudai's face, seeing this happen. It was just like the Entrance Exam with Napalm. He immediately moved, thanks to his Quirk and the tank-like style of moving and grabbed Suda's wrist, his eyes narrowing at the white haired kid. "First off, lower your tone...your going to scare the wildlife with your loud mouth. Second, release Silver now...no one said we were just giving him away...and he was perfectly fine without you doing that." He then moved from talking to Suda, to returning towards Valerie and Crimson. "Something doesn't sound right, Val." he interjected. "Silver just said that his mind is stronger than ours. And because of that, he can't scan it. Annnnnnd that doesn't sound suspicious to you?" He looked over at Crimson, trying his best to keep his composure. "I understand your a hero...but why keep yourself from a scan? He needs to know he'll be alright, so why block him out?" "It's not like I'm trying?" Crimson said, knocking on the side of his head. "But I've seen a lot of bad things kid...I'm not as optimistic and happy go lucky as you squirts." "...and I'm not naive either." Yuudai said sternly, stepping to stand between Silver and Crimson. "Silver, I'll level with you. We met this guy just a bit ago, but he wasn't seeming...like a villain. Me and Val are still standing...but right now, I honestly don't know if this guy will help." "C'mon kid...I'm just trying to help. That thing obviously was tortured where it came from...where do you think your Teacher's gonna take him? Candyland?" Yuudai began to grit his teeth slightly. Truth be told, he honestly wasn't sure what was the right option...but he did know one thing. "I found Silver at the exam, albeit under some circumstances I wasn't expecting...but I think they'll be able to make sure he gets where he can feel safe." He then took his balled fist, pointing his thumb at him. "He's in need of help, and a hero is supposed to help others who need it. I'm sorry Crimson, but I'm saying Silver isn't going with you." "Oho? Is that so?" Crimson said, rubbing the nape of his neck. "You're not giving me many options here champ. I thought you were pretty level headed...but I see the school's already got you brainwashed." "Brainwashed...yeah, like I've been at U.A. long enough for that to happen." Yuudai rolled his eyes. "It's called trusting your gut. It's something I think every hero does it." "Wise words..." Crimson nodded with his eyes closed. "Yeah...and my gut is saying not to just hand you Silver." Yuudai stated, looking over at Valerie. "Sorry...but this is where I'm drawing the line. Cause everything about this is having my gut go nuts. I'd rather not find out this is a trick and just avoid this all together." He then looked over at Suda, shaking his head. "Also, Silver is not a THING...so don't refer to him as such. He's very much alive..."
  8. "You talk too much." Randy was stunned as now he was being literally launched into the air by Heatran, stopping the second strike of his Darkest Lariat. This was becoming insane to him... And right now, he heading over the lip of the volcano. From the given way things were going, no resistance...he was definitely going to go over and outside of the volcano. Grrrr...I-I don't think so! Randy thought, immediately firing a Fire Blast above him, allowing him to propel himself downward and back into the volcano. He landed over on a ledge, to where he could catch his breath for a good moment. Right now, he was clenching his fists. ...not worth his FULL attention? The hell is that supposed to mean? he thought, grinding his teeth. I'm giving it everything I have, damnit!! He slammed his fist into the side of the volcano where he sat, taking a deep breath and trying his best to calm himself. His mind went through the fights he had leading up to this: the Northshore bout...where it pretty much ended in a draw against Allie. Deep down, he wanted to say it was a win for him, but he knew better...he had been lying to himself on that. The Mowloo attack with him fighting Blake...it ended, but he didn't really win. That win was practically Yveltal's. Hell, even the Yveltal fight! He was out for a good long portion of the fight...how could he really call that a win. The only fight he really truly won in, aside from the other native Mowlooians that Blake had working for him, was that cannibal Pawniard. ...I want to say I won...I want to say that I was able to win against something. Randy admitted to himself, moving slightly, trying to make his way back to where the three were. Sliding down the side of the volcano, jumping to get on the other platforms, he stood there watching Heatran looking menacingly at Keanu and Marie. He was behind the Legend, and his fists clenched tightly. He began to make his stride towards him, watching him fire off two Lava Plumes. Randy growled slightly, his hands being cloaked in a white energy as he approached the Legend. With a roar, he struck at Heatran's back with a Brick Break, two of them to be exact and gave off a look that showed both a determination to win and a desire to be acknowledged. "...we aren't done yet."
  9. Chris definitely was sighing heavily as he ended up following the group in the gymnasium into this strange corridor that opened. All in the hopes to make sure that Touch didn't get himself killed...well, that was one reason. Second reason: Connor. Not for the reason because he was pretty much the school's cripple, but just because these creatures obviously were in a whole different ball game thanthey were. "Then stay behind me. I know my way around a fight a bit more than I'd like to admit, and worst-case, Minamizawa and I are the only ones with these creatures. And I'm pretty sure Hackmon here would be a better fighter than... Whatever that is." "Heh, no worries Kokoro." Chris smirked, grabbing the hilt of his bat. "I'll back you up if the situation calls for it. Plus, pretty sure Herissmon here would be willing to assist as well. Right?" "R-Right..." Herissmon answered, sounding a bit nervous, but it wasn't too noticeable. Nevertheless, the group kept going until they entered what seemed like a large room made of stone and covered in vines. Definitely matched the M.O. of the gymnasium back there, so perhaps this all was connected. Then again, that would be a stupid thing to think and ask, of course it would all be connected. Stuff like this didn't normally just happen out of the blue...well, not anymore anyway. "Child of Light... Child of Flame, come forth. Reach out to me, call out to me, and claim the power." A combination with a disembodied voice and a strange suit of armor...and in a stone cave. "Alright, I'm starting to get crazy Indiana Jones vibes from this place." Chris said, looking around the room, humming a bit of a tune to himself. "Child of Light...? What does that mean?" "Beats me." "A riddle perhaps?" Chris tossed out. "Okay, so maybe this Child of Light might be...oh I know! Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe it might be me!" "You??" The young man nodded, adjusting his glasses. "Yeah, might be. Chris is short for Christopher, and both of these names have different meanings. Christ-bearer, anointed, and little Christ. Sooooo maybe the Child of Light may actually refer to...ya know, that!" ...jeez I didn't even think that this might've sounded like it was coming off as arrogant... Of course, even though this was an explanation that might've worked, apparently the two Japanese individuals had come up with something else, as Kokoro spoke. "Well, Minamizawa here seems to think 'Child of Light' means you. I've got my doubts, but I guess unless something happens, that means it's yours for the taking. Go ahead." This "you" was in reference to Connor, which puzzled Chris a bit. They think it's him? Why would it be Connor Chulainn...? he began to think, until it hit him like a fastball from the pitcher's mound. "OH!!!! Jeez, I had almost forgot about that!" Herissmon looked at Chris with a blank expression on his face. "Uh...Chris...? I'm not exactly understanding." "Basically, in Irish mythology, there was a 'Child of Light', Cú Chulainn." Chris did his best to explain. "He was Hound of Culann, and more so, a child of the sun god. A LITERAL child of light. Annnnnnnnd Connor here, his last name is Chulainn. Just like Cú." "R-Really?" Chris nodded, glancing over at the armor. "Though...dunno why that would be what this is looking for. I would've thought the armor would've at least been blue with a red spear if this was in conjunction with Cú Chulainn." he shrugged, sighing with a roll of his eyes. "Well, guess that's something that can't be trusted for. Thanks a lot Nasu and the Fate series."
  10. "I don't think you're strong enough to get my full attention. But if you want some you can have it!" This response from Heatran caused him to go wide-eyed. Randy stood there, watching the Legend absorb his flames and his arm was now engulfed in flames as another Flamethrower blasted his direction. It was larger than the last one, and it knocked the Incineroar back quite a bit. It wasn't too harmful...but it was boosted...he could tell that for a fact. He began to growl through grit teeth, slowly getting up as he watched Heatran attempt to strike at Keanu, only hitting a Substitute instead. Not only this, Marie did assist with another Water Gun and even causing it to rain...which would definitely not just hinder Heatran (hopefully), but it would also hinder his Fire Fang and Fire Blast. He slammed his fist onto the platform, continuing to grit his teeth. I'm...not strong enough? TAUROS SHIT! Randy slowly stood up, clenching his fists tightly. Not strong enough? NOT STRONG ENOUGH?! I've fought Allie...I fought Blake...I fought Yveltal...all of them were strong... His gaze turned towards Heatran, glaring at him with a strong fervor. "You...don't think I'm strong enough? I'll show you...how strong I am!" Standing upright, Randy let out a roar and slammed his fists together, both becoming engulfed in a dark energy. "These fists of mine overflow with a powerful darkness!!" he shouted, moving his hands away from one another, both still holding them at chest level. "Their deathly glow tell me to grasp victory!!" He growled, his feral gold eyes glinting slightly as the Incineroar rushed forward. "HERE I GO!!! DARKEST....LARIAT!!!!" He roared, closing the distance between him and Heatran, before striking at him with once with one arm, then spinning and striking at him with the other. "One thing we Incineroars pride ourselves with, aside from our pride,...is our strength!" Randy growled. "Don't insult my strength...or you'll regret it!!"
  11. >Ghost Chaos Sonic joins the game ....Hmmm...he may be onto something here...
  12. "Hellooooooooooooo students! As young Emilia has said I am your principal. I hope to see you all grow into fantastic pilots in your time here...but I'm not here to bore you. You've got plenty of time to get serious when classes start. I'd like you all to stand up. This is your first day here so for now...it's time to party!" Chase had to admit, this academy sure knew how to make students feel welcome...as well as throw a good party. And to actually see the "Metal Crusher" here? And that he was the principal?! Chase assumed that was a simple rumor, but looks like that was one rumor that was proven true. Well, guess it would be rude for me not to enjoy this party. Heh, after all, it's obvious he went through all the trouble for it. he thought, moving slightly to grab some punch. Chase mingled as much as he could, drinking his punch. Of course, he could've gone and mingled with those he was on the ship with...but he figured he'd see more of them anyway. What he was interested in more, were the three houses: Steel-Hounds, Sun Lizards, and Bomb. From just the descriptions, it seemed like the were the tactics, information, and explosive/fire power classifications for the houses. However...now he was in a dilemma. Would he join Steel-Hounds or Sun Lizards? Bomb was right out for him from the getgo...but between the hounds and lizards...now things were getting difficult. However, Chase had an epiphany as he took another swig of his drink. Information...hmmm...that might also help me learn about more mechs! ...well, guess if that's the case, I'm going for the Sun Lizards. With a smirk on his face, he finished his drink, fixed himself up and made his way to find Merlin to join the Sun Lizards.
  13. Honestly, Gavin didn't care too much for the new person, at first glance anyway. But then again, judging a book by face value most likely was a bad idea. Either way, Aurora and the girls seemed to be all in favor for heading to the movies to watch something. "We can figure out what to watch once we're there. It's not that far, so let's get going!" "Thanks Snow Angel, but I think I'll pass." Gavin shrugged. "Not a huge movie goer..." "This is the unfortunate truth." VEX piped in. "Unless it is a fantasy film." "VEX..." he rolled his eyes, grumbling slightly. He was about to go just head back to his room, but Cyan, who also didn't want to watch the movie...to him, it was probably because he didn't have a damn clue what those were...spoke up. "Well, anyone who want to go watch some shitty movie can do as they please. Me, I'm gonna go get a drink, maybe wander around the place some more. Any of you fucks are welcome to join me." Seemed like Cyan was definitely staring a hole into Gavin's soul, from his perspective, but then again...he did miss having a few drinks here and there with a few of his buddies back on his world. A smirk appeared on his face, as he sighed and shrugged, making his way towards the Lion Sin of Pride. "Well, can't pass up a drink. So what the hell...I'll join ya."
  14. After a quite corny joke from Crimson, they heard a commotion going on not too far ahead. Lo and behold, there was the other students in his group...and one more familiar figure. For a moment, Yuudai couldn't believe his eyes...but it was. It was the creature he saw from the Entrance Exam. And from what he was seeing, this wasn't looking good. Oh no...don't do anything stupid, guys! he thought, shaking his head slightly, though about this time he heard Crimson explain something to Valerie. "Approximately one week ago, the League of Quirked Individuals infiltrated a government funded laboratory, and liberated many experiments from the facility. However, those things are now being hunted by the government, as if they're property. I'm here to put these creatures under protection." So that was the story? Honestly, it seemed Valerie wasn't too convinced, or at least it seemed like it from where he stood. With that, Valerie went to speak to the creature, who apparently now designated itself as 'Silver'. Things did seem to be going well, as Valerie was definitely acting like a hero in the regards of attempting to help the creature. "Kinda put me in a tough spot you know. I'm supposed to stop criminals, and, well, I guess you maybe are that? But I'm also supposed to protect people who need protecting. And I kinda think you might be that too." At this point, Yuudai figured it was his turn to make an attempt of talking to 'Silver'. After all, he knew (somewhat) about this creature more than the others, and perhaps it would help to see a familiar face. "Silver? So that's your name?" Yuudai asked, slowly moving forward. "I...I'm actually glad your alright. To be honest, I didn't think I'd see you again after the Entrance Exam...and Napalm's dumbass decision of attacking. ...I am sorry about that." "Ahhh...I see you are well as well, Yuudai the Hero." Silver stroked his face, where the burn mark used to reside. "Shortly after my injury, the wound healed by itself. I do not harbor ill will towards this...'Napalm'." "You know this freak too!?" Misu said, pointing at Yuudai. "That's great. I do see it looks 10 times better." Yuudai smiled with a nod. Then he directed his attention towards Misu. "Yeah. Found him in a space during the Entrance Exam. He's alright...may look pretty unearthly, but he's alright. Though unfortunately, the guy that pretty much explodes attacked me and by proxy him...swore up and down Silver was a robot like most everything else...but I could somewhat tell otherwise." "What the hell...why didn't you say nothin'!?" Yuudai rubbed the back of his neck. "...to be honest, I've been trying to. Was going to tell the principal about it, just to see if that was part of the exam...but at the same time, didn't tell you guys cause I figured you would think I was bat-shit crazy." Misu froze, and then looked to the side. "Guess yer right...Probably woulda knocked the lights outta you for trying to scare me with some dumb story..." Yuudai nodded, before returning his attention towards Silver. "So...Silver, you mentioned you scanned Valerie's mind...so do you know why we're here?" he asked. "Cause I want to know if you know anything." "All I know is that you are looking for something that someone else has deemed...dangerous. I don't know why that would refer to me...I have done nothing but take refuge in this forest" Yuudai nodded, sighing heavily. "Yeah, sounds like you happen to be pretty innocent except for just taking refuge here." He shrugged slightly, smiling. "Well, didn't hurt to try and ask if you saw anything. ...er...well, sense anything. Forgot you don't happen to have any eyes...no disrespect."
  15. "What a wonderful introduction! Critiques, huh...maybe your Duels go by too fast? I can't really think of much, to be honest." Duels...go by too fast? Souji thought, putting his hand to his chin for a moment. Maybe Hoshiko was on to something. After all, recently he hadn't been able to use his own Duel Skill, so perhaps maybe slowing the Duels down might actually be a good idea to implement into his style of Dueling. "My duel style is to set up an elegant dance between me and my opponents. The back and forth action between the two sets the rhythm for the performance. Much like Shouji here, my deck revolves around Fusion Monsters. Instead of heroes, however...I make marionettes that act as dancers! The more controlling part of my deck allows me to both set the tempo of the game...or play reactionary to my opponent. Either way, no matter who leads the dance, I make sure it is a wonderful one. To tie into the whole duet theme I like to go, I also have the ability to occasionally use my opponent's monsters for my dancers. Together, me and my opponent, we make a beautiful dance." He nodded after hearing the idol's explanation on her own Duel style. It was something he could see out front, given his Duel against her for that Exhibition Duel. Not only that, her speech and usage of phrases during that Duel now began to make sense. It also showed a lot during the Duel with the Shaddolls. Especially on how she utilized the Field Spell of hers in order to have those greedy little shadow hands to stop my monster's advances. A bit of work with that in Duel Space, and she has my monster's on a literal string. It's...quite genius. As Hoshiko finished her explanation and opened the floor for critique, Souji couldn't get a word in edge wise as another player had entered the room. “Um, is this the entertainment dueling club? I'm Akari Ito, by the way." A few blinks were had on Souji's end as he looked at the blue haired young lady, before glancing at Sai, then back at the girl, then at Hoshiko, and finally returning to the girl. He slid slightly towards Sai and whispered in his ear. "...okay Sorcerer Supreme, I'mma need you to stop with this 'Abracadabra! Club Members!' magic... Actually scratch that...you are DEFINITELY this club's lucky charm! You mentioned new members and here they are." he muttered, before standing up. "This is the Entertainment Dueling Club, Akari." Souji nodded, clearing his throat slightly. "I'm Kazuraba Souji, this is Sai, and Hoshiko. You actually came in at the best time. I was having the club members here explain their Duel Styles and to get critiques on them. If you wish to join in, then grab a seat and tell us."
  16. Jet sat in silence for a good long while, just eating what he had gathered for himself. He could hear the bits and pieces of the conversation most of the others were having, which ended up being about what Mr. E told them NOT to talk about...well, namely the Duel Dragon portion of the conversation anyway, which prompted one of them to be smacked with a pancake by the man in question. Nevertheless, he kept eating until his plate was completely empty and all that was left was to finish his coffee... Until...SLAP!! He was met immediately with something slapping the side of his face. This almost made the young man fall over in surprise, but thankfully he didn't. Upon further inspection...what slapped him on the face was a pancake. And the one on the other end of said pancake...Zirco. "Oy, who got stuck with Mr. E?" "H-Huh? Oh...s-sorry." Jet said, quickly gathering his composure after being practically assaulted by a pancake by Zirco. "Mr. E...is...he's stuck with me." "Ah. That's... my apologies. Go ahead and enjoy that pancake then..." "...thanks?" he said, looking at the pancake, nonchalantly putting it over on a plate that was basically one he was already finished with. He was going to just remain silent again, but Zirco was kind enough...if that was the word to use...to start conversation with him. "...h-how-" he paused mid thought, about to ask about how he was able to pull through in that Duel Dragon summon, but remembered Mr. E smacking people with pancakes. He quickly changed the subject he was about to talk on. "...T-That was...a pretty g-good Duel..." "Eh, it was alright," Zirco answered with a shrug, finally biting into the banana. "I like how my D-Wheel's handlin' now though. It's good stuff. You should try to drive yours soon, ya know?" "Y-Yeah...I...I had thought about it." Jet nodded, drinking on his coffee some more. "...n-never was...able to just do that b-back at the Turbo Branch..." "We should race some time. Without card games." Jet only nodded, not sure if that was a good idea or not, but did at least express that he'd be interested. Y-Yeah...a race...no Dueling...j-just a race. he thought, drinking more of his coffee again before finishing it. M-Maybe while that happens...h-he...he can tell me...about how h-he was able to d-d-do that...
  17. Randy had to admit...he hadn't felt a strong heat from another Fire-Type before, well...being on the receiving end of the strong heat anyway. It was obvious though. Heatran was the Legend from a literal volcano, so it was a given that his fire power was to end up feeling like such. Luckily, he felt the Flamethrower finally stop as Marie entered the fray with an Aqua Jet. "H-Heh...mahalo..." he simply groaned, nodding at Marie, making sure he didn't fall off into the lava. He got close...so very close. Moments like these...are the times I wish I could actually learn a Water-Type move...would be INCREDIBLY helpful. Unfortunately, the Incineroar noticed that Heatran had fired off another Lava Plume and was immediately stomping on the ground...greatly. And the Legend had it's sights directed towards Marie. He growled slightly and was about to stop it, but noticed Keanu using Surf, riding the wave and it having swept up Marie into it as well and it even benefiting her to where she avoided the Heatran. Yeah...Water moves would definitely be helpful. he smirked, shaking his head as he fired another Fire Blast at Heatran, just to get his attention. "OI! I'm over here! So don't even think about ignoring me like that!"
  18. ....concerned...but eh, let's give it a whirl!
  19. Souji wasn't too thrilled about hearing Sai's concern. The strong possibility that Kyouko wouldn't be faithful and attend the club meeting? But she had that fierce look in her eyes. She had to be serious about joining this! After all, this was the avenue for her to stop being harassed by the swimming team, according to her. "So, Mr. Fearless Leader, what shall we do for this preamble?" "Hmph, it's simple." he said, crossing his arms as he leaned back in his chair. "I'll start us off." Souji took his deck box and put it on the table before him, opening it and showing off a few of his cards, namely his Mask Change cards, Shadowmist, and his Masked HERO Fusions. "Firstly, my Dueling style is one where I put myself as one of these...a hero. More specific, an action hero. I use the Duel Space to put the spotlight on a hero that the audience can root for. Unfortunately, in my state..." he paused, sighing. "...given that most people hate my guts and I hate theirs...most anyway...annnnnnd the fact that my social skills are as flat as Duel Monsters card...it's no wonder why people wouldn't specifically root for me. However, the mask comes into play." He moved his hand over and held up Mask Change. "This allows my HEROs to wear a new mask in order to be something else. In the same vein, my Kamen Rider outfit does the same for me. Putting on a mask allows me to give the people what they want: a heroic champion to cheer for." Souji then put Mask Change down and picked up Shadowmist. "But, a hero always has allies. With my style as an Entertainment Duelist, in the vein of being an action hero, Duel Space allows my HEROs to always back me up." With a sigh, he moved the cards back into his deck box. "When I Duel, I want it to be as action packed as possible. You most likely noticed this right away, Hoshiko." Then another sigh escaped Souji's lips. "That said...now comes the hard part. I'm opening the floor to you to critique or suggest ways my style could be better. Once the suggestions are out of the way, Hoshiko will explain her style of Dueling."
  20. "But you better not get out of my sight. There's more than one suspicious thing in this forest." Least she's in agreement with this. Yuudai smirked, nodding at this. If anything, this guy would be beneficial to helping them look around the area. "So you two were searching for something after all, huh? What a coincidence that we met up! My intel tells me that something really weird is taking refuge here... This thing isn't apart of the natural habitat. We have reason to believe it's an invasive species...or worse. Aren't you gonna probe me a little more? Come on, make this fun for me too!" Yuudai did note the strange hoofed track and how it didn't seem like this would be part of the natural habitat. At the same time, Crimson, asked if they were going to probe him for more information. Well, this might be a better time to do so. he thought, clearing his throat some. "Alright then, Crimson, sir." he began. "What makes you believe this happens to be an invasive species? This happens to be a national park, so how do you know if this is not part of it? It's hoofed, so perhaps it's a deer. Unless you already thought of that possibility. If that's out of the question, maybe it's a wild boar?" Yuudai made his way a bit closer towards Crimson. "Also...more or less geared towards you directly. Why operate under the radar? Don't normally hear too many heroes doing that. ...unless you happen to be some sort of special ops hero team."
