  1. Dinah had been leaning in to the battle more as it went on. In fact it looked like she was several steps forward from where she had started. Though she clearly didn't notice how close she was inching. She cast an annoyed look at Ivan. "Don't get so cocky cause you got a few attacks in. There's no way we're losing this one. Come on Tepig, let's take this one home and get another win! Tail Whip!" The Fire-Type jumped around and waved its tail at Don, lowering the Pokemon's defense before... "Now go Tackle!" Without missing a beat the Pokemon spun back around and rammed themselves into the Murkrow. "Don't let up, we have the advantage, keep going!" "Maybe I didn't understand how any of this was supposed to work. I figured it would be easy. I'd have people at my side and I wouldn't have to worry about anything. I'd just find Rondo some friends and have a good time. Perhaps it was all a bit naive of me." "Whatcha worrying bout?" Naomi asked. She had managed to crawl on top of Princess's head and the Pokemon kindly turned its head in Milla's direction to make it easier for Naomi to speak to her. So both Naomi and Princess were now looking at the girl. "D'no what there is t'worry bout. Jus gotta keep goin'n stuff right?" She tilted her head to the side and Princess tilted with her. "An Rondo's right there, innit?" Soon after someone else had come up. Drawn in by Milla's playing from what it sounded like. Naomi wasn't going to say anything, he was clearly talking to Milla, but his question got her to perk up slightly. “You here to challenge the gym leader?” "Oh...that's the thing we're s'posed to be doing, right?" Naomi said. She remembered now. They were here for the league or something like that. "There's a gym here? Whatta coincidence." As she spoke she let out a large yawn. "Guess should do that sometime." She looked back at Milla. "Y'wanted a good time, are gym battles a good time?"
  2. It took Rona a few moments to realize what exactly Alexis was referring to. She hadn't though much of the consequences at the time but having killed several soldiers it was true they wouldn't easily be able to stay here. She curled her hand into a fist and looked down at the ground. "I shouldn't have let any get away. If I had no one would know our faces." She said. She shook her head at Yue and Raynor's comments. "That's not the worst of it. They're going to be looking for us now. Of course, if it were just me, I could handle it but wouldn't want to get anyone else into more danger." She gave a confident smile. A smile which twitched as she heard what Leon had said. They're going to expand the mission? She knew they had to get out of there for a while but not being paid for the job they did so far didn't seem right either. However she wasn't going to question the commander. Especially not in front of the others. She waited for when some of the others dispersed and, instead of shopping herself, she stuck next to Leon. "Wouldn't it be better to get paid for two missions instead of one?" Leon pondered for a moment before saying, "well...probably. But she doesn't have much to pay with, and might just end up paying for our boat ride anyway. Besides that, I guess...well," Leon rubbed the back of his neck as he thought saying, "I guess it'd just feel wrong." Rona had to stop herself from sighing. She still couldn't understand the commander at all. Yet she couldn't bring herself to correct him. She'd rather follow his order than to do something like that. "Well, if you insist. Guess all I gotta do is keep doing my job right? Sounds like an easy mission anyway." Alexis cupped her chin in one hand as she thought over what Edda had said. "Yon'Lou huh? I heard a lot about the place but never had a chance to go there myself. Sounds like a fun time." She glanced over at Yue. "I'm sure a certain someone can guide us around handily, aren't you glad Yue's with us, Rona?" Alexis said. The wyvern rider looked confused but with a grunt nodded in agreement. Though Leon's next words seemed to take Rona's attention right after. She laughed and clapped Leon on the back as he mentioned the plan. "Always such a softie aren't you. Earning some points while you're at it too, sly dog. Not that I mind. I'm not really a mercenary after all, don't need to get paid for going on an adventure like this." The girl stretched and looked around. "Shopping, hm, maybe later. First I want to see what kind of people there are here. And that means checking out one of the taverns." She snapped her fingers and turned towards the rest. "If anyone else wants to come along I won't stop you long as you can keep up." Upon saying that the pegasus knight made her way deeper into the city. Intending to find what she was looking for by aimless wandering. Eventually she did end up at one of the bars of the city and, as she started going in, heard a voice. "oh come on Susan, don't be like. How was I supposed to know it was your boat. It could've been anyone's really. So why don't we just let bygones be bygones, alright?" "Oooh, sounds like something exciting is going down, let's just see how this turns out." She muttered before entering.
  3. The rat, not all much smaller than Lana herself, proved to be rather heavy. Despite using her smaller weapon Lana's flailing didn't seem to amount to much. On occasion her axe would clip the rat and blood would splatter across the ground, and her at times, but it didn't keep the rat at bay. Sergei's attempts to pull the rat away met with similarly sub-par results. At one point the rat ended up biting on the man's hand. Though soon after that Estellise's spell took hold and the rat locked up. Its body growing stiff as the magic held it in position momentarily. Meanwhile, nearer to the other side of the tunnel, Chris would no doubt be shocked entirely to find that the noise was being made by another rat. Having moved over from the other tunnel only to be pierced by slightly glowing arrows from the mage girl. The beast let out an angry hissing noise as it tried to steady itself back to its feet. The light from the arrows dimming but still bright enough to clearly see the beast as it ever so slowly crept its way across the tunnel floor towards where Chris was approaching.
  4. One word status story. I'll start with a sentence and everyone posts one word at a time to make a story. No deleting even if two post at once and it makes no sense just roll with it. idk how many comments can go on a status but we'll find out. Also if you post a word you have to wait for two others before continuing.

Start: It was a dark and stormy night.

  7. The longer they went on the less Gabby understood what was happening. This girl with a bat was talking to some giant bug that was apparently selling something to her? Did the world turn into some sort of monster world without her realizing? The girl sounded so casually discussing things with this one and had so easily knocked the other one out. When they finally reached Melissa Gabby realized with some guilt that she was somewhat relieved by the girl's panicked attitude. Compared to the bat-girl's casualness and, later, Jun's excitement it was a breath of fresh air. So this really WAS something unusual. It was a shame that she couldn't really enjoy the hug though. It was over before she could really register it was happening after all. They then dove right into trying to figure out what was happening and what they should do. Or, Melissa did. She wasn't entirely sure what Jun was doing. She gave her upperclassman a confused look before thinking over what had happened. The name Melissa mentioned, Mokey Mokey, that was a Duel Monster right? So did that mean... "There were skeletons, um, Skull Servants I guess. Suppose that's ironic thinking about it. But a-anyway I ran from them and ran into...something else. And then she saved me." She glanced aside. Skull Servants. If that was really what they were she felt somewhat responsible. After all those were precious cards in her own deck. "It may sound crazy but...I might be able to convince some of them to leave us alone if we run into them. I-I mean, I'm...you know. I have them in my deck and all..." She blushed and looked away. Those used to her normal attitude would realize how meek she seemed right now. There was no way she could remember to keep the act up with all this going on. Was it so crazy to think? She had seen how the bug interacted with the bat-girl after all.
  8. It's not bad but it weirdly loses something when it gets too hardcore. 7/10
