  1. Okay so if you can't at least put out a few polls at a time then I think I'll have to close this down ? (Or rather at least put it on hiatus so that others can do tournaments too)
  2. This is why I guessed your monster btw So it looks like I'll be doing PS1 Next. Will probably set up the thread soonish so bumping just in case I get a horde of people wanting something else. Will lock this thread and poll once I start on that.
  3. Naomi watched Kanon as she picked up the note and read it. As it turned out the girl seemed...upset. Not a broken up about it sort of upset but still upset. Which was weird. They hadn't known Oswald long and there was never any promise of staying together or anything. Did this mean that Kanon wouldn't want to go off on her own? "Get up. We've still got a whole region to take on, and the sooner we're out of this big city, the better." "Mmkay den." She muttered. Seemed like it. Naomi grunted and rolled herself off the bed and onto the floor. She flopped over to the nearest solid thing, in this case Kanon herself, to aid herself in standing back up. "Imma get goin." Once up she felt a wave of dizziness hit her and she stumbled her way out of the door. Forgetting to change for a moment until someone outside the room mentioned it. Grudgingly she went back to the room to change and, without brushing her hair, she shuffled off again. "Imma get goin...again" Naomi assumed that Kanon had intended they were going to leave right then so she stared at the city map in the Pokemon Center, not really retaining any information, before heading off in whatever direction she first saw. Eventually they would find their way towards the exit of the city. Before reaching it, though, Naomi, trailing behind Kanon, would feel a tugging on the bottom of her shirt. Lolling her head to the side Naomi saw why. A Sneasel was grabbing onto her sweater and tugging. She blinked at them without understanding but didn't stop them. Nor did she fight it when the Pokemon started to pull her off to the side. Simply stumbling along with wherever the Pokemon was going without saying a word.
  4. "Oho? Well, you have a long way to climb to reach his throne, o'princess of darkness." Wait what who why? Gabby almost fell out of her chair in her haste to turn and look at who had just come in. It was...Jun, right? Yeah, the second in command as it were. And the girl who had actually brought Gabby to the registration desk for the duel team. She wasn't sure how to feel about her. She seemed friendly but she also seemed to be friendly to everyone and something about that was almost too suspicious. But it wasn't as though Gabriela could afford to turn down any friends at this moment. Of course Jun had interrupted them at a rather awkward moment. “But, um, not at an arena or anything like that. Maybe at CoffeeCards? Or at one of our dorms?” "D-Dorms?" Gabriela said, with a nervous waver in her voice. As in their rooms? Why? Melissa seemed to be moving rather quickly through all...no, this didn't mean anything. It just meant she wanted to spend more time with her. Alone. In a bedroom. "Yes, CoffeeCards that sounds, erm, a fitting stage for us to have our duel. After all I cannot be seen dominating a subject so publicly, right? Ahaha...ha." To Jun, Gabriela nodded firmly. "Maybe not as long as you might think. My powers are much greater than you give me credit for! I would say I'm only a step or two behind in fact!" Why? Why was she digging herself a deeper hole. Sure, she had to be good to earn her place here, but did she really have to be the best? Thinking back on her roots, and the way she had entered the school, she thought perhaps she really did. After all why would they bother with her if she wasn't that way? Her eyes turned back to the duel just as she heard the name of that dreadful card. "Graceful Skull Dice" She frowned. "Is he really going to rely on something like that?" She said. She didn't care much about the card he summoned, despite the crowd reaction, as she didn't really know of its value. Even if she did it would only confuse her even more why he would use a card that gave the duel to chance. There was a clear bitterness in her voice when she followed it with, "A tactic like that is the absolute worst."
  5. Growling, with Reinaan's body muffling the noise, the worg closed its eyes as Reinaan clawed at its face. With Lindow approaching the worg pushed Reinaan to the side, sending him stumbling towards Lindow, and kept Lindow from cleaving into its legs. As it tried to back away the electrical blade stabbed into its side and the electricity rushed through its body. Snarling with pain the worg slowly began to back away from the group. Keeping its eyes, one of them with a claw mark across it, trained on the group. Keres watched the beast warily and decided it was in her best interest not to initiate combat with it. Instead she cautiously made her way over towards Reinaan. Blood was flowing from the bite on his side and, as she got near, she raised her hands to cover the wound with her soothing water. Stopping the bleeding and dulling the sharp pain. Still the worg continued to back away from the group. Watching them for any forward motion. "Is it retreating?" Keres said. For the first time in a while she brought out some papers and began noting down what she had seen of the worg. Trying to get as many details as she could. Were it to attack now she would be defenseless but the urge to record the information took over.
  6. I-is he gone? .... ... .... ..... I don't drink soda
  7. Hihi cause clearly my opinion is important or something. Here I shall list my thoughts on the monsters of Halloween 2019. I usually would also rate based on difficulty but tbh none of them were really "hard" to figure out. Which isn't a bad thing! It's just a thing. Some of the best were some of the easiest. Also note that 7 and above I would consider quite good. Anyway.... Monsters Ainz Ooal Gown Box Ghost Dullahan Kurumi Ebisuzawa Larry the Cucumber Post-Crisis Carlos Segata Sanshiro Sou Hiyori Spooky Uncle Death Yami Bakura And now...Boss Monsters! Bram Stoker Ivan Ooze Pepsi Man Hosts and overall event. Mettaton Hades Overall

  12. Chad wasn't entirely satisfied with the battle. It seemed that the boy was somewhat distracted near the end. And afterwards he found out why. It seemed the boy was worried about some kind of statue. After the battle he had questioned him about it and, when Chad told him he didn't know, and to ask the professor, the boy seemed to take it to heart. Oswald went back to the center after, with Chad barking at him to let his teammates know he'll be back after some more training. Naomi didn't even wake up as Kenta picked her up and over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Even after their Pokemon were all healed up she still was asleep and Oswald suggested they stay the night. The girl woke up in the middle of the night, surprisingly wide awake, after spending the rest of the day asleep. She noticed Oswald leave the room and, after some time and he didn't come back, she rolled off the bed and used a table to stand up. Where she found a note. Evidently Oswald decided he had to learn more about the statues and had decided to go off on his own. Naomi wondered if she should feel worse about this. But all she could muster was a shrug and a moment wondering what this meant for the other two. Maybe Kanon would go off alone now too? Well, nothing she could do about that. She lay back down and let her mind wander until morning, where she'd let her head flop to the side to watch Kanon's reaction to the note.
  13. I suppose I can toss out this small fry 2

  15. “Hey hey hey! We’re in the middle of something here!” "Eep." Anneliese turned from fretting about her Shinx to the trainer of the other Pokemon. He seemed upset about something, and was directing it at her. She gave a short bow of her head. "I'm sorry for any inconvenience my Leopold has caused." She said. Speaking of Leopold the Shinx was now growling at Ollie as the Cyndaquil approached. He seemed unsure if he wanted to focus more on the trainer or the Pokemon so he just spent turns growling at both. Though as Trey talked to Anneliese he focused back on him and ran out in front of him to growl. Anneliese, now that the battle was over, hurried over and scooped Leopold up, holding him closely. "Sassy boy. Don't attack people." Though she scolding him she was still petting the Shinx. Happy to have him back by her again. "And you guys are?" It would be her second time introducing herself today but she was used to doing so from previous encounters. "Good day to you. I am Anneliese Faraday. And this is Leopold." She grabbed Leopold by the paw and had him wave at Trey. Though the Pokemon was still glaring at him. Anneliese looked at Trey's hand in confusion. "Um...I'm so sorry, but mother told me not to give handouts to strangers." She said, thinking he was asking for money.
  16. "No, no...nothing like that. It's more or less trying to be friendly, Aya. Believe me, I don't think I could handle a relationship right now. Plus, they'd probably get upset with me for blabbering on about my designs and mech talk if anything." "It's not just designs you...'blabber' about apparently." Aya said flatly. She refocused on cleaning up the mess and went silent for a while. Then as she finished and stood she paused, ears perking up, and looked over towards the end of the hall where the elevator was. The door slid open and Weston, surrounded by a gaggle of girls, walked out into the hall. "Come on girls, I know you want more time with me, but I really should be getting back to my room." One of the girls moved in front of him and laughed loudly, nervously, as she waved her hand. "Aw, just a little longer? We want to hear more about your last movie!" Weston chuckled and let out a dramatic sigh. "What am I gonna do with you all. Fine, fine, I suppose I can spare a bit more time. So, there I was, absolutely drenched and having to do my lines in the tundra..." As he talked a couple of the girls sneaked glances over by where Chase was. Or to be more specific where Aya was. The horned girl sighed and picked up her cleaning device. She started going back into the room. "If you don't want to be caught in the mass of females you might want to get out of the way." "Ah, forget I said anything. Let's just get on with this so I don't fall behind the others." The nurse looked between the two in confusion before throwing up her hands. "Alright I'll just knock you out and let Professor Patete do whatever it is she has to do. Just know I'm not responsible for any loss of memory or brain damage." She walked over to Kansuke with a device that resembled a suction cup attached to a vial of some sort of liquid. She placed said suction cup on the boy's chest and he felt a quick, sharp, sting and then he couldn't feel anything. He didn't know how much time passed but when he woke up Florence was gone, the nurse was reading a magazine, and he felt a strong craving for fish. He also was struggling to remember what came after three "That depends entirely upon the character of the spirit of this world. If the spirit is violent, it could be quite dangerous. Perhaps even more so if it is a parental spirit. Ultimately...one would have to successfully awaken them to know for sure. Not that it would be the best decision to do so without knowing more about the spirit in question." Arnold's expression turned contemplative for a moment at Xa'tok's words. Then he gave a brief laugh. "Well, sorry if I made it sound so serious, I'm just very curious about such things. Living out there you really find that there's a lot of unexplained things. I suppose I just have a habit of trying to explain them. Guess that's why I came here..." He thought about it some more then said "Still, it's a shame isn't it? I wonder what the spirit themselves wants....Ah, but that's just an idle thought. I'm sure you're busy. It was nice to get to speak with you." He gave a short bow and, if not stopped, would continue on his way.
