"Like this, return!" He withdrew his Nidoran and swapped them out for his Bellsprout. "Let's see if you can knock that bird out of the sky, use Vine Whip!" He called out. Of course the attack wasn't an effective one against the Flying type but that wasn't the point of the swap. Now that Nidoran was back in its ball the effect of the Growls had worn off. If the vine whip managed to land the Bellsprout would try and grip Icarus and pull it down to the ground. --- "Just leave her there," "Wow, and I thought Fuyumi was cold!" Kenta said, then laughed. Fuyumi was watching the fight closely again. Specifically she was staring at the yet unused Pokeball on Oswald's side. "Maybe it's weak." She muttered. But her eyes narrowed nonetheless. Kenta didn't seem to know what to do so he just waved towards Chad "I'm gonna go to the Pokemon Center, okay?" Chad waved him off. An annoyed expression briefly crossing his face "You don't have to tell me everywhere you go! I'm trying to concentrate!"

I was thinking about putting it in Video Games since this is neither a nomination thread nor tournament poll but I figure if people didn't vote here they wouldn't come here for the tournament either Anyway so far (across both forums) I've done Gamecube and N64 So which one would you most like to see next? Gave a few options for various reasons. PS1 and Xbox in case people want to move away from Nintendo NES if you want to go to the start of Nintendo Gameboy/GBA if you want to go to handheld. I also separated them but unsure if the gameboy on its own has enough to justify its own thing. Wii in case you want to move forward with Nintendo stuff. And Sega Genesis if you want a totally different direction. Obviously these aren't all the possible options but these are the ones I'd want to do NEXT

“I don’t know, I like rooting for underdogs,” It wasn't something Gabby really understood. She knew from watching her father that all that underdogs got was debt and trouble if they tried too hard. There were many times when he'd talk about betting on the underdog because of "higher profit" but it usually just meant they'd lose it all. The few times he won like that he'd use to justify the rest, even if it was a net negative, so Gabby had learned to not trust such things as "underdogs". But would it be rude to say that? "That is kind of you." Gabriela said. "I am sure they would appreciate your support." There was no more time to chat as some loud girl (Was she from the student council?) announced the start of the match. With a rare blue-eyes as the prize. Gabriela let out a soft "Wow." Then she coughed "u-uh, I see that the people here are motivated by wealth, interesting!" The girl jumped a bit as everyone let out a shout. "Was...that some sort of battle ritual?" She asked. Was she supposed to cheer too? It was too late now but had she made a mistake by staying silent? The best she could do now was play it off. Gabriela tried to focus on the match but there was something else on her mind. Melissa's hand. She hadn't expected this much...contact, so soon. It made her wonder what the other girl expected of the night...unless this was normal? She had no basis. And no one to ask. So she merely had to go along with what the other girl decided was appropriate. “What do you think so far?” Melissa said. “I don’t- You probably think you could take both of them, don’t you?” Gabriella usually would respond immediately. With a confident and certain "of course". That said Gabby couldn't stop herself from thinking about it more seriously. Yushiro seemed to be somewhat haphazard. He had tried to pull something off but his opponent just ended up in a positive situation anyway. That being said she wasn't sure what Hiraku was planning on doing with all those resources. As it stood... "They seem rather slow, don't you think?" Gabriela said. "It doesn't feel like either side is pressuring the other yet...Perhaps this next turn will turn things around." She paused. "Oh, and as for your question, of course! I don't think there's anyone I couldn't defeat as it stands. Well, except..." her voice trailed off. The captain. She was still unsure why he let her in the club after she lost to him. And then there was this duel. She hadn't even know it was going to be a thing...was there some other reason she was let into the club?"

Geoff watched the conversation with some confusion. "I do not understand why you would be searching for that, surely even if you found it you couldn't do anything about it. It takes spirit magic to break those, didn't you know?" Either way the man prepared to take on the worg. The beast didn't seem to be concerned about him as it lunged at Lindow, going in for a quick finish. Attempting to bring the man down and tear into him. Geoff's blade spun and carved two deep cuts into the beast's side and caused it to back away from its attack. It growled and watched the two, crouched low, slowly moving backwards while keeping its eye on them. Over to the side the gnoll pulled his arm back as Reinaan tried to slice through it. He snarled at the draken but didn't make another move at first. Then he glanced over as he saw movement. Keres wasn't sure what Reinaan meant by not getting too close. Especially as the draken ended up stopping mere feet from Pyrrha's prone body. She didn't have a choice but to get near if she was to do anything about her. She warily approached, not wanting to get attacked by the gnoll as she got closer, and knelt near the elf. Multiple wounds. She had lost a lot of blood. And was still bleeding. She couldn't move her. Not without risking more damage. But she could help the healing process. Holding her hands above the wounds she created a small amount of water and charged it with magic. The water spread along the girls wounds. It wouldn't heal it but it should at least keep them from bleeding and clean them out to prevent some sort of infection. Even so Pyrrha would need to be properly healed soon. Perhaps one of the healing potions, in case Lindow couldn't do it? The leader seemed to grow more concerned as the third enemy drew near. Even if she didn't do anything. He wanted to attack her but...these two were far too close for that. With another snarl he swiped his axe at Reinaan and, almost at the same time, went for a thrust towards Ryia's throat. Immediately after he'd try and break away and call for the worg to join him. Which it would unless either of them were stopped.

I'm glad I managed to get someone in the top two. Surprising finish but I like that. Even if my top pick went out early >.>
