  1. Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau Heatran crossed his arms over his chest as the group appeared to be getting ready to go. "Hey." He said, not looking at them directly. "I've heard some things even up here. There's something big coming. I can't leave to help out. So you all better do something about it. If you want to go around thinking you can beat me then go prove it alright?" And that's when, for those looking down the volcano, they would see near the edge of the city a sudden sandstorm starting to brew. --- "I don't really want to fight, to be honest. But I know what you're doing here, and just sitting by and letting that happen is worse." While the Thunder Wave had hit her last time this time Allie saw it coming. With a swipe of her arm she sent out a barrage of stones that disrupted the path of the electricity. Keeping it from reaching the Tyranitar. She began to laugh. "You know what I'm doing here do you? No, I don't think you really do." She snarled at Nani and gestured towards the volcano. "You think we can just keep going with this cycle over and over? No, eventually it'll all come tumbling down anyway." She faced Nani full on once again. Sand started to pick up around them. BGM "So we're going to tear it down on our own terms. We're going to remake the world. We're going to SAVE the world! And a weakling like you is not going to stop us." The sandstorm then picked up fully, throwing dirt and small rocks around, pelting the Mimikyu repeatedly. Team Karaoke, Day 37, Deadlands "Want to take a shot now? It's free." "Why, I dare say I do. But not at you, I still have this Bug to roast." The woman then blasted out a Fire Blast at Kayla. Who slid underneath the blast to avoid it, and launched a spray of acid at the Chandelure. Whom let out a screech as the attack splashed against her. "You little worm!" The woman shouted and turned around. With a cackle she launched another Fire Blast. This one heading straight for Shaymin. Moving at a blur Kayla rushed past the Chandelure and leaped out in front of the blast. It struck her before reaching Shaymin and Kayla fell, damaged and burned, at Shaymin's feet. The Chandelure scoffed. "That's one down." Without looking she sent out a Shadow Ball at Nine. Meanwhile the two Shedinja were now hovering towards Shaymin at their top, albeit somewhat slow, speed with their arms glowing green and appearing rather sharp. Gwen winced and almost doubled over as the Shuppet hit her. But instead of crumpling she reached out and grabbed the Ghost. Gwen's eyes flashed and suddenly the Shuppet was covered in a thin veil of ice, frozen on the spot. Gwen followed this up with another Hex attack and the Shuppet's body spasmed painfully before falling over. She breathed a sigh of relief and started towards the Legend. "You need to at least avoid them, they're going to keep targeting you, run, let us deal with this!" She glanced back at Lok and stopped in her tracks. "Lok, what are you doing?" Lok had tried to attack with a Thunderbolt but his attack went wide. And it was in that moment that both the remaining Gastly took advantage. The one nearest to him, who he attacked, sprayed the boy with a Toxic. While the other glowed with dark energy, waiting for Lok to try and attack in retaliation before striking with a Sucker Punch. As the Toxic hit so did Lok's Confuse Ray. The Gastly blinked repeatedly as his vision swam before him and he seemed to be struggling to see straight. Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren "If we can get Tornadus onto a different part of the town, we can break this part off, and hoping the raft will drift further down the swamp, making it hard for the Godslayer to get to him. Maybe. Then again, plans don't usually work out for us. What do you want to do, Mac?" As Kazo shot off the attack Mia curled up into a ball to try and Rollout of the way. She struck one of the logs that made up the floor and launched herself up in the air and managed to dodge the attack. Elsa growled and threw another Ice Shard at the woman, hitting her in the leg as the Miltank came down crashing into the raft. Which caused the raft to further break apart. "I'm not gonna let this spread to the rest of the city!" Mac shouted back. "Do what you want but I'm gonna stop her right here!" She began to Charge up energy as she went to go after the woman. But before she could someone got there first. "Wake up, Mister, wake up!" "Arceus what was that?" Tornadus groaned, rubbing his head as he started to get up. "Damn sneak attacking bastards." He then noticed the situation, with the raft breaking apart, with the Miltank fighting the others. "That the one that did it?" Tornadus asked Ari. Once given a confirmation the Legend stood up. "Can't fight like I normally would, it'd break this place apart. Guess I'm doing this the old fashioned way." He then flew straight towards Mia and swung a fist at the woman. To his surprise Mia met his punch with her own. The air itself seemed to tremble for a moment. "I'm stronger than I look." Mia said with a sickly sweet smile. "At this rate this whole place is going to go down." Elsa said. "I'll do what I can to keep it from falling apart but it won't last long." She then began to fire off Ice Beams at the raft itself, trying to make temporary seals to prevent the muck from dragging the logs down into their depths. Meanwhile Mac took a running leap, cocked her fist back, and slammed down with an electrified blast onto the Godslayer. Causing her to miss her swing on Tornadus and catching an uppercut to her face. The woman let out a frustrated shout and the bells began to ring again, sending painful noises across the area. Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Merm Palace The Corphish was caught off guard by the Moonblast, which knocked him off his feet, making his head smack against the floor hard. Essentially taking him out of the fight instantly. The others hesitated as they saw Easter's display of power. But then the two Corsola and the Frillish surged forward at the same time. The Corsola attempted to fire off Spike Cannons at Easter, while the Frillish would summon Briny water down upon him. The Slowking didn't seem to react. At least not at first. Then his eyes glowed and Easter would feel a slight pain in his head. From his experience he would recognize the attack as Future Sight. --- "Well, you two have been busy," Gisei grunted. "We'll be even busier soon. The time's up. We have to decide what to do now. They've got a few more soldiers down here but I don't think he'll wait long. That's probably enough to break down the barricade. Either we move or they do." He looked over at Phione. "So she really was here...Sorry for this treatment." "Why are you sorry? I'm perfectly okay! I guess a little bit bored but that's about it. Who're you?" She directed the question to both Gisei and Brooke. Team Showdown, Day 31, Oasis Actually, since it seems like most of the legends know each other... you wouldn't happen to know where someone could find Cobalion?" Landorus shrugged. "Well we know each other, of course we do, how could we not? We have to in case anything happens. But ya gotta remember I've been in the ground more often than not. Plus that boy doesn't sit still. Usually he tries and stay around the North but with all that's going on...I wouldn't be surprised to see him anywhere."

  3. I don't think "I don't like the character" is the same as "salty". Actually thinking about it I'm honestly confused where this came from; I haven't said anything Edit: So that I'm more on topic might as well mention that voted for Kaori cause I like her design and feel I'd love the character if I watched the anime. (I even voted for her over Marisa who I actually do like for the same reason lol)
  4. Girl's Afternoon "Well, it looks like our way to food is blocked off by this crowd, so I guess the only way to it is through them." "Come on. And try not to get lost in the crowd." "Wait what?" Morgan said in surprise. These two really were just going to...and there they went. Shouldering their way through the crowd. With a loud groan she followed behind, trying to keep close so that they would have to be the ones pushing through. And the crowd pushed back. It seemed everyone thought the three were just trying to get closer to the PiP and so it became a confused mess of everyone trying to go forward but no one being able to. After a while Morgan, getting frustrated after being knocked around by a bunch of "common fools", decided that enough was enough. "Okay that's it, you all-ow my foot! You all brought this on yourselves. It's not my fault if anyone gets hurt." She then closed her eyes and began murmuring words of magic. She stretched her arms out and a dusty wind kicked up. And then a massive skeleton started to form among the crowd. As the behemoth stood up the people started to scatter in panic. Morgan, sitting on the giant's shoulder, gestured at the two other girls and the skeleton reached down to grab them around the waist and lift them up. "Ah, much better." Morgan said. Tegur's Bar As the pair of men got closer towards the bar they could overhear the woman talking with Tegur. "Oh come on now. I know your profits have never been that good. Just let me set up a few machines and I'm certain that we both will make so much more. All I'd need is a small cut of the profits is all." Tegur shook his head. "Lass I've told you a dozen times I don't want that here. I like where I'm at. Now, is that all? I can't spend my whole day talking business with you." "Well it's not like you have many patrons right now...Oh." She must have noticed the two because she turned on her stool. "Well, it seems you have some celebrities. Why don't you come sit down instead of standing there gawking?" She gave a sly smile and patted the stool next to her. Doctor's Office "Say ahhhh." The voice belonged to a rather young looking doctor. Masaru and Aria had managed to find their way to the room. Where Dr. Akoola was waiting for them. He had raised an eyebrow as the two entered, Aria seemingly helping Masaru as the boy looked to be out of it. "Well, at least it's not Angela again. But it seems that I'm getting a lot of Mauvache's people in here. I have to say it's kind of stressful to be working on such well loved people." Though he didn't seem all too stressed as he said this. Instead he had a gentle smile on his face as Masaru sat down. After a quick, rather routine, check up the doctor nodded and adjusted his glasses. "Best I can tell is your body is yet to be used to the environment of this planet. Surprised it took this long to hit though." He leaned back and typed something into a pad on the wall. As he waited for the result of whatever it was he looked towards Aria. "You should probably get checked out too if you've had any intimate contact with this young man. It's not airborne but any exchanges of bodily fluids could cause the infection to settle in you as well." A beeping noise sounded and the doctor reached over to grab a cylinder that had popped up on the desk. He took out a long needle with some purple fluid and leaned in towards Masaru. "This will only sting for a moment. The sickness should clear up by the end of the day. You may experience some side effects though. Dizziness, possible audio hallucinations, but other than that you'll be good to go by tomorrow."
  5. Keres looked to the others for help. Damien was busy having a staring contest the Draken who had not accompanied Hannah towards the group. The large Templar was standing perfectly still with his hands at his side. Almost like a statue. The other one, hovering over Hannah, continued to glare at the Chosen as if daring them to try something. Keres's fellow Chosen didn't do much to help the girl either. Phyrra asked questions, one of which Keres noticed Hannah avoided directly answering, and Ryia...seemed to be uncertain what to do. She shuddered slightly as Hannah pressed against her and thought back to her time at the tower. Her later years weren't entirely pleasant and Hannah had been a part of that. When Reinaan spoke, Hannah pulled away from the girl, who sighed in relief. "Well aren't you in a hurry, Reinaan. You really shouldn't be in such a rush to reach the future. I've seen some very dark things ahead. But I suppose time does go on." She turned back to Keres. "Stay safe little Keres, we have much business to discuss after this is done." Then she leaned forward and gave the girl a big kiss on the cheek. Pulling away with a loud smacking sound she giggled and stepped away. Back towards the middle of the road. She paused, and turned back, looking at Lindow. "I've seen many things you know. And I feel I should tell you. Hurt my little Keres and you'll be sorry. I know what's in your mind, and your heart, and I don't appreciate it very much."

  14. Penelope was glad to see that Alois was...fine. She knew he wasn't entirely okay with all this by his body language but she also figured it wasn't anything serious. Which was good as she had other matters to attend to it seemed. "E-ehhh, I'll go alone. Whatever happening in the village right now is probably super important and all. Don't worry, I'll manage...somehow." Penelope shook her head as she overheard this. "Now now, don't be like that. If you're worried about Licorice's...temperament at the moment then don't be. I will go with. I think I am capable of navigating such...issues very well." She noticed both Catriona and Gunther's concerns but waved them off. "I have learned quite well how to avoid danger. I used to sneak off from the castle all the time after all. I promise that at the first sign of trouble I will be sure to come right back. I'm sure Remy wouldn't mind helping me retreat." She sounded rather convincing even though she wasn't being entirely truthful. She had no intention of running away if it meant leaving Licorice in a state of distress. But it seemed that at least Gunther was calmed by her words. To Alois, before following after Ciela, Penelope said with a sly smile "I suppose you'll have to show me your home sometime later after all." --- As it turned out the two girls would have a third companion coming along with. Tsetseg had decided she wanted to go with to help track down Licorice. Though it turned out that wasn't entirely necessary. The path they took was littered with tell-tale signs of a beast, likely Licorice, passing through. "Well now, that bottle sure did a number on her didn't it? It's a good thing you didn't use it on us, isn't it?" Penelope said to Ciela. Staying vague while Tsetseg was around. "Though it would have been amusing to see how my sister dealt with it, truth be told." It wasn't long before they overheard some voices and Penelope raised a hand towards Ciela to make sure she stopped. She looked at the girl, and the horse, and realized the obvious problem. Even if they left now they wouldn't be able to sneak away with the large animal. And by the sounds of it whoever was with Licorice knew that they were there. She whispered to her companion. "Ciela, be ready to flee if this goes bad. If I don't announce our presence whoever is there is bound to either sneak off or think we are trying to ambush them. Tsetseg...maybe you should take cover." And then she stepped out in front of Remy. "Excuse me? We're looking for our friend. She's not feeling well, you see, and I think she came this way." Gunther was still somewhat abashed after Sienna had blown off his question with a strange look. She must think him daft after all. Perhaps he shouldn't have asked that...In either case it seemed that Alois shared his sentiment, something that the Knight had noticed was happening more and more these days, whereas many of the others were prepared to fight again. He didn't feel quite right about letting Ciela and Penelope go off but he trusted that Penelope could keep them both out of trouble. And, walking beside Catriona, Gunther could tell the woman was also worried. It was oddly satisfying to see. The two sisters were too often at odds. "I'm sure she'll be fine." Gunther said, trying to calm her. "We're near the village and we haven't seen signs of enemies for a while yet. The worse they could encounter is wild animals and Remy is bound to be able to outrun them." The lack of guards posted worried the Knight. "Perhaps they are so free of bandits they don't see a need for a constant guard?" Gunther suggested as they made their way farther in. And...well, he couldn't say he expected this. It seemed that it was they who would be encountering the creatures of the wild and not the younger princess. Gunther smiled wide as he recognized the beavers from before. He cautiously made his way towards them. "Well, hello, we meet again it seems. I'm glad to see you are unharmed. And you've found yourself quite the community haven't you?" The young man knelt down and offered his hand towards the animals, waiting to see if any of them approached. A trio of beavers make their way towards Gunther, though one of them, as it settles nearby, tosses its head to the side as though it were uninterested despite approaching. Gunther gently placed a hand on one of the beaver's fur and stroked it, muttering soothingly at them. He glanced over at the other animals. It was rather odd, seeing all of them in one place, especially with the looks they were giving. But as long as he showed he meant no harm he wasn't worried in the slightest.
  15. Rona watched the Mercenary as he looked to be resigning himself to his fate. It was interesting to see that they didn't even try to retreat. They would have done well in the army. She remembered seeing many soldiers throw themselves at the enemy only to die and allow an opening for the more experienced, stronger, and to the rest of the army more important, soldiers to prevail. Though from where she was standing it didn't seem like these bandits had any such elites among them. The mercenary completely ignored her and went off to fight the pirate. Which was fine by her. She didn't have to worry about what happened to that man. Even if the bandit killed him it meant nothing to Rona. So she took off into the air and rushed forward. Having Cormag hover his large body near the bandit leader. "It seems you've already given up. But if you still intend to fight, to try and injure my companions, then there will be no mercy for you. Maybe your death will be a sign to the other bandits. Us Jouraans are not an easy mark." From the sounds of it saving this girl would be...tricky. It seemed that her father had attempted to. She wondered what kind of man he must have been. And how Ada had fallen into this path despite his efforts. Curiosity grew in her but she knew she had to focus on what was ahead. Even if referring to the grand evil that was the dragon as a child tale did rub her the wrong way. Shaking it off Alexis looked back towards Susanoo and realized the man had been attacked. "Excuse me, healer? It seems that man has taken quite the blow there. Perhaps you could help him?" She didn't mention the other reason for this. She wanted to see the large man and the healer interact. It could be the start of something incredible! But if that were to happen she'd have to clear the path. And so, lance at the ready, she took into the air. As she neared the mercenary she swooped down and thrust the lance into the man's back and through his chest. He never saw it coming. "Hello there, stranger!" Alexis said to Susanoo, "It seems you have some history with the people here. Why don't you get yourself fixed up before taking your revenge on that scoundrel of a bandit?"
  16. “Handlin’ that axe pretty well for having such huge weights on your chest, girlie! I don’t know if you’re here for a bounty or something, but leave that big ugly bastard Jeb to me. We’ve got a score to settle.” Rona supposed she was happy that the man was focused on her instead of the commander. She had heard worse than that before, she could handle it, and it wasn't going to stop her from going after whoever this "Jeb" was. She was going to kill any bandit that got in her way regardless of what the man said. "Wish I could say the same about your own axe work!" Rona called out, unwilling to be cowed by this man, "I guess that's what happens when you spend most of your time in a bar." She couldn't say much more after that as she soon was caught in a flurry of axes. She could barely even tell what was happening at one point, but she knew that she had killed one of them, and that one was still standing. She was bleeding. A lot. A wave of dizziness struck her and she struggled to stay on top of Cormag. If she fell at this point it would be over for her. But the enemy was right in front of her. She had to kill them. Even as her vision blurred and her body felt as though it were on fire. Cormag snapped at the bandit as he tried to take advantage and the Barbarian was forced to step backwards to avoid the beast's jaws. That's when Rona began to lunge forward. Suddenly she felt a soothing glow around her. And her vision cleared up. Was this her second wind? Whatever the case she took advantage and swung her axe down and split her attacker's skull. It was then she realized that Layne had healed her. A wave of shame went through her. Causing a nauseous feeling. "Ah, I would've been fine either way you know, these guys are nothing!" Wanting to get away from the healer before he could notice how her hand was shaking she prompted Cormag to move forward and closer to the remaining bandits. "I understand why you feel that way, miss, but I've been at this since I was a child, and I assure you, this magic is far from demonic." Alexis watched sadly as the girl used the evil magic once more. "So she has been infected since an early age..." It was rather unfortunate. It would have been easier had the girl recently been taken in by the wretched magic. But she couldn't give up on her so easily. It was the job of all Aeorans to purify those who were corrupted by the dreadful dragon. "I understand that it must seem that way. It's a tricky and manipulative thing, but never fret, I won't let you fall into the darkness!" She wondered, briefly, if that was what Leon was doing. Why he was traveling with her. Unless she had been wrong all along and THIS was the girl he fell for. Ah, a forbidden romance, how....juicy. She shook her head and moved out towards her chosen position. She couldn't reach anyone just yet so she thought it best to find a spot where she could attack any of the bandits without having to worry about them surrounding her first. "Leader of the bandits, I, Alexis Beller, daughter of the hero, Percy Beller, volunteer in the Faeus militia, commands you to lay down your arms and surrender!" That was when she heard that man. That bull of a man. Calling for the leader's head. Was he an ally of Leon's? It didn't seem he was an enemy. He appeared a lecherous, aggressive, sort. Usually that type wouldn't so much as register for her but....perhaps he had a hidden romantic side? But if that were the case what kind of person could possibly bring that out? She scanned the group as her mind became lost in this idea until it landed on the healer. It was unorthodox, perhaps, but...it could work, could it not? It might be an interesting pair at least. A very interesting pair indeed...
  17. Starting to think I should have put a different character in the ring now
  18. Things were really getting heated. Literally. The body heat pouring off of Valerie was reaching higher and higher temperatures. Prompting her to tell the other two who decided to help her, "Hey, might want to keep a distance, don't want you passing out on me." She had taken a pretty nasty hit there. She could already feel the bruise forming and moving only served to give a sharp reminder of the attack. A couple more of those and she wasn't sure she could keep standing. But she couldn't show that. She had to at least pretend to walk it off so he was forced to keep going at her. It was frustrating that two of her classmates had managed to slip by her while she was dealing with this guy. It felt like a failure. She should have attacked but, for some reason, lashing out at them felt worse than Spring Lock. Even if they were on the wrong side of things. "When you hear the snap...you should probably move...so do you numb-nuts gotta any bright ideas?" "Don't have much time for ideas right now." Valerie said. Then, lowering the volume, said, "We don't really have to win. Just keep him here as long as possible. I'm going to keep up the pressure and make sure he can't get out of our reach. At least one of you should keep back to stop him if he slips past." She stretched before slowly making her way forward. "I'm not going to stop but I'd really rather not start a forest fire. I think it's in everyone's best interest if you focus on me. If you're really a hero I think you'd want to prioritize taking me out before something happens." As if to prove her point the flames around one of her arms roared to life and she moved for the man. Thinking about her classmate's advice she tried to listen for the sound. If she managed to reach him before hearing a snap she'd punch forward before sending her flames at him. Otherwise she'd have to try and duck to the side and hit him with a flaming uppercut. How long had they been at it? How far could Crimson and Silver have gone by now? If it went too long she'd have to avoid using her Quirk. Already it was getting risky. She'd just have to hope that the head start she was giving them would be enough.
  19. "if you don't like the food you can leave now. just about everyone else is off doing their own thing." Hotaru twitched as the girl came up to her. This entire time people had been looking past her yet this girl just came up directly and spoke to her. What was she supposed to do with that? "This one seems kind of off. Maybe you'll actually get along." Dragonecro said, chuckling. "I don't think she'll just leave if you don't say anything, Hotaru." The girl let out a ragged sigh and glanced over at the girl. Her hair still covered most of her face so that the only thing that Kiyoko could see was part of her eye and everything on her face from the mouth down. "I...am also doing my own thing, aren't I?" She said, the sarcasm slipping out. Kiyoko put a hand to her chin as she said this, thinking and looking as if this was actually a sufficient response. "So you are." Nodding she then said, "but it's not terribly productive is it?" Hotatu wasn't sure she liked where this was going. "No, it's not." She said. After a brief hesitation, she continued, "does that matter? Until we're told to do something we don't have anything we need to do." Kiyoko gave a puzzled look at the girl saying, "it does. By always being active that means you're always ready for when something does need to be done." "Unless it happens while you're busy with something." Hotaru muttered. She turned her head back to facing forward, fully obscuring her face now. What was this girl trying to do? Whatever it was it made Hotaru squirm with discomfort. Was this her life now?
  20. The Skrelp didn't seem to think that the trainer's Pokemon would come at them so suddenly. In fact they seemed to not at first even notice said Pokemon. So focused were they on the statue and the trainers that the fact other Pokemon were in the water totally passed them by. However when the Skrelp on the far left side was struck with the Tackle the others began to swarm Bubbles. Dark energy surrounded them and they seemed to back away for a moment before suddenly surging towards Bubbles. Three Skrelp coming at him with Faint Attack. While another One of the charging Skrelp got knocked off course by Snipe's jet of water. It didn't seem to damage them much but the pressure, and lack of solid ground, caused the Pokemon to be knocked to the side. A light appeared suddenly and they would see an Electro Ball coming off the end of the clerk's Chinchou. It made its way towards the Skrelp hit by Snipe and the seahorse spasmed as the electricity struck. "Adventurers don't rob. They loot. There's a difference." "So you admit you're here to take stuff." Dennis declared, nervously edging towards a small pile of comic books and junk food near a bedroll. "We were just curious about this place... and apparently are going to help with the lights now." "I'm not a kid." The boy whined. "I'll have you know I'm 15. Just because I'm not huge like you doesn't make me a kid." His eyes flicked between the two and his brows furrowed. "And the light's not broke, I just said that, so there's nothing here for you. Leave me alone!" As he said that a pair of hands floated up from the stairs, making a haunting "teeeer" noise as it did. The hands moved past Ivan and Jacklyn and next to the Dennis. Who breathed a sigh of relief as the ghostly hands dropped something near his feet. It appeared to be a partially eaten bag of Gummy Bewears. Then the hands faded from view. Dennis looked a bit more confident as he pointed at the two. "See that? This place is haunted you know. You better get on out of here quick."
