  1. I couldn't think of any until now. Every mission in San Andreas where you had to fly the plane. I was so bad at that.
  2. Naomi gave Oswald a goofy grin as he made his joke and helped her down. "You found me." She said with a short laugh. "S'pose it's time to go mm?" She asked. Though once she found out they were headed back to the dock she grew confused. "Didn we do this 'ready?" She asked, confused. It took some time to get Naomi into a wet suit of her own, both the clerk and Kanon had to work together for the task, and once it worked she seemed unhappy with how tight it was. "M'body can't breathe." She muttered as she flopped onto the dock. She wasn't paying much attention as the clerk described how to dive, especially given that Naomi had no intention to do so, and simply let herself slip off the dock, floaties attached, and splashed into the water. As the clerk watched Kanon go ask the workers she clucked her tongue. "You know." She told Oswald. "I can't stay here all day. I've done this before and I can tell there's no danger. Those workers are just such sticklers though. They wouldn't let us go in until they've completely packed up. I don't know about you but I'm not gonna wait around until they finish gossiping or whatever guys like that do when they're done with actual work." She gave Oswald a mock salute. "See you under the waves, comrade!" She declared as she lowered herself into the water. Her Chinchou, having greeted the other's Pokemon happily, dove down alongside her and a soft glow from its lights could be seen from the surface.
  3. "fine! But put the book away. Last thing we need is you down stream and down one book." "And what, pray tell, am I supposed to do if one of the beavers attack me? Splash at them? I'm not sure if you noticed but I'm not exactly a muscular girl." Penelope snapped back, coughing as she accidentally swallowed some of the river water during her response. When the coughing cleared she realized that a log was coming in fast. She could speed up but she wasn't sure if she'd outrun it. Nor was she sure she could keep her footing if she rushed it. So she attempted to use her magic to stop the log. Unfortunately it was difficult to get her bearings in the water and the Wind spell missed the log, merely taking a chunk of the bark off, and it continued towards her. Running through the physics of the situation and trying to calculate if it would be best for her to dive or try and climb over the log as it came closer she almost missed as the large frog shot from the water and intercepted the log. She breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Shiro, that was rather kind of you." She told the man before continuing to make her way across. She noticed that Gunther had calmed the beavers down and smiled. She knew she could count on him. As long as Alois didn't take too much offense to the angry beaver in front of him, that is. Gunther smiled as he finished up administering what aid he could give to the beaver. "See, that wasn't so bad was it?" A splashing noise drew his attention and he looked up to see Alois coming out of the river. With Penelope not too far behind. The beaver, too, seemed to take notice and hopped away from Gunther in order to growl at the boy. With a sigh Gunther knelt down near the beaver. "It's okay, he means no harm. He just wants to get across and out of your territory." The beaver didn't seem convinced by his words. Gunther let out a sigh. He supposed it only made sense. The beaver likely didn't even know what he was saying and was merely reacting to what he perceived as a threat. "Er, Alois, could you perhaps...show him that you aren't going to hurt him? I don't think we need to really fight them...we're not trying to stay here after all." He looked across the river at the rest and groaned. "It might be more difficult to convince them, though."
  4. it's an abomination and the people who listen to it are dweebs Actual answer is a lot of it is pretty fun. I mostly like the ones that have a lot of energy to it. 20
  5. Valerie let out a groan at the joke. It wasn't the first time she's been called hot, be it a pun or something else, and she knew she'd have to get used to it once she became famous. So she just waited for the moment to pass. That's when she noticed...what was that? The creature looked entirely inhuman, not like any Quirk she had seen before, and it was standing over a couple of her classmates. Something Crimson said caught her attention and she didn't answer his question. Instead she posed her own. "Hold up, take it with you? How you gonna do that? You can't just start a fight with those guys right there." "That depends on if they attack it or not...I have to protect it." He looked towards the other kids, his voice growing dangerous. "At any cost..." Valerie froze in place and slowly turned her head towards Crimson. "What do you mean protect...it?" She stepped out in front of the man. "No more corny jokes. What's going on here?" "Since you've seen it...there's no going back now, huh?" Crimson crossed his arms, looking down to Valerie. "Approximately one week ago, the League of Quirked Individuals infiltrated a government funded laboratory, and liberated many experiments from the facility. However, those things are now being hunted by the government, as if they're property. I'm here to put these creatures under protection." League...it rang a bell. She recalled her mother talking about them after watching the news. Pointing at them as more proof that Quirks were wrong. Some kind of vigilante terrorist group, apparently. She looked Crimson up and down. He certainly didn't feel like a terrorist. And her mother's ideas about her own Quirk put a damper on any accusation that woman made. Even so, they clearly were breaking the law. If it was some underground criminal group they busted them out of then it'd be cut and dry but breaking into a government lab? But it wasn't as though the government never messed up. "Arrgh." Valerie groaned. "Why can't things just be simple." She muttered. She was to be a Hero. Being a hero meant protecting people. Vigilante groups were often dangerous. But a government lab creating things like that also sounded pretty dangerous...Oh, screw it. "Listen up, you're gonna stay right there." She glanced over at the creature. "And I'm going to have a chat with that...thing?" She looked back at Crimson and narrowed her eyes. "Let me see for myself if your group let loose an innocent creature or a dangerous monster." She clenched her fist. "You can either let me do that or show me your true colors and try and force your way past me right now." "My group?!" Crimson reeled back a bit, before laughing. "Man my acting's pretty bad huh?" He shrugged, as he shooed her towards the creature and the other two. "Go ahead. Just don't pull anything cheap." He placed a finger up, as his eyes showed to be cheerful. "You might regret it." Did he really think he was being sneaky? Well, here goes something. Valerie took a deep breath and headed for the creature. She knew she had to keep her cool and make sure that whatever it was didn't attack or run. "Yo, I see you guys made a new friend. What's your name then?" She asked as she approached. The creature snaked it's head around, out of shock. It's head then bobbed to the side to see the other two obscured by the approaching girl. A wave of pressure would bounce around in Valerie's head for a couple of seconds, before the raspy voice echoed in her mind. "Justice...heroism...is that your name?" The creature planted it's hand on it's chest. "My given name is TS: 064...but the others call me Silver..." Valerie hesitated at the strange feeling inside her head. That...was weird. An alien-like creature named Silver and a man named Crimson. That was certainly a connection right? "Well, Silver, nice to meet you. My name is Valerie Clark, future top hero, and I gotta say...never seen anyone like you." She put her fists on her waist. "I'm gonna have to ask you what you're doing around here. We heard there was some dangerous things going down in the forest, you wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you?" "Valerie...Clark...I have scanned your mind for what you believe to be dangerous...and I can assure you that I do not think I have the capacity to do those things...I only wish to experience...freedom." The creature almost approached Valerie like a serpent, causing Misu to step forward. "H-Hey! Watch out!" Silver slinked back, as it looked towards Misu. "Are these your allies...do they wish to harm me?" Valerie raised her hand to Misu. "It's alright. Even if it attacks I can handle it. Just hold on there." She smiled at Silver. "I don't think they'll do anything unless you do. She might look scary but she's not a bully." Valerie almost laughed at the irony of telling this to something that looked like an alien. "Kinda put me in a tough spot you know." Valerie told Silver. "I'm supposed to stop criminals, and, well, I guess you maybe are that?" She frowned. "But I'm also supposed to protect people who need protecting. And I kinda think you might be that too."
  6. I could just bump but I don't like clicking a thread and finding out there's nothing new there so here's a song I heard the other day that I enjoyed.
  7. Did I miss something because I don't understand what this means. Also Flame, and everyone else who isn't sure, remember that you can change vote by clicking "Show Vote Options" ?
  8. That wasn't very lovely of them to do
  9. Time passed. It's what time did. Passed. And so that is what happened. Time moved on and, in that time, the people living in the past were pushed into the future, which was then known as the present, whether they wanted to be or not. Time stopped for no man. Nor woman. It doesn't discriminate. And so it was that a vague amount of hours later that the ship made its way into the atmosphere of the planet that would be their home for now. The Finback was much too large a vessel for normal landing procedures. And so the students would be put onto a smaller ship to make the decent to the school's private hanger. The Finback would be housed elsewhere and their mechs delivered to an underground bunker beneath the school. There was but one problem. The pilot has seemed to vanish. As it turned out a young boy, a new student, had visited the captain at some point and they had taken that chance to go off somewhere, leaving the inexperienced boy to try and pilot the large ship. Hence the rocky voyage through the asteroids. Finally they pilot was found, having fallen asleep in one of the beds for the students, and they were able to make their way down to the surface. As soon as they landed they were greeted by a large group of upperclassmen, with signs welcoming them, and congratulating them on not crashing. Evidently the last three years the ship had crashed into a building on its way down due to not being able to find the pilot. At the front of the group was a tall and stern looking woman. She introduced herself as the Vice Principal of MechA Cademy, Emilia Reichen. With a sharp and commanding voice she told the new students to follow her to the auditorium. Then led them into the castle-like building that was the school. The auditorium was large, likely much larger than necessary, with rows upon rows of chairs. Emilia directed everyone to sit as close to the front middle as they could and moved onto the stage. The chairs themselves were surprisingly comfortable and covered in what looked like a shag carpet cover. "Welcome, new students, to MechA Cademy. The finest school for mech training in the galaxy. I want you all to know that I expect the best from each and every one of you. We are the defenders of the galaxy and must always remember the weight that becoming a mech pilot has to it." She then smacked the podium she stood behind and her voice grew sharper and louder. "If any of you think for a moment you can slack off then you better leave right now. Because I can assure you that I will be evaluating you all at all times. All. Times." She gazed across the students for a while before nodding. "That being said I have brought a few of your upperclassmen here today to meet with you. They are the heads of the three Houses of the school. Houses are an optional group that you may attempt to join to help get through your school days. I suggest you put serious thought into whether or not you wish to join them." She stepped to the side and gestured to a trio that had been standing in the background. The first to step up was a girl wearing a jumpsuit with various pieces of military equipment attached. "My name is Kris Ward. Head of the Steel Hounds House. If you join my house you can expect to be worked hard in practice. We don't accept slackers. I intend to help every student that joins my house learn tactics and skills that will be necessary on the battlefield." She gave a short bow and stepped to the side. The next to approach was a boy with oddly mystical looking garb. " Yo, I'm Merlin." he said, then gave a charming smile. "Not my real name but it's what everyone calls me. I lead the Sun Lizards and my goal....I suppose it's knowledge. Not just book learning but knowledge of people. I guess you could say we're a social group. If you want to be in with all the trends and gossip you should come around and join up." He waved and winked at the crowd before stepping back. The third was much different than the rest. For they were a large, rounded, robot. "I am called Biofriendly Operational Mechanized Buddy. Or B.O.M.B. I am the head of House Bomb. We at House Bomb like to have fun. Personally speaking the most fun to be had is when working with explosives! But that's not all we do. If you want to have a fun and exciting school life be sure to join. We are all friends at House Bomb and we welcome all kinds!" The lights making up what was likely the robot's eyes formed into a pair of carets before he moved back into his previous position. Emilia stepped back to the podium and cleared her throat. "With that out of the way I'd like to introduce the principal. Former Admiral in the royal army and..." She sighed before saying the next part, "winner of Best Facial Hair in Cosmo Magazine five times running, Horace Walton." Even those living on the fringes had heard of Horace "Metal Crusher" Walton. Said to have the highest personal mech kill count of anyone in the military to date he was a feared warrior who commanded from the front lines. Even his allies were said to be intimidated by his mere presence. And he came from underneath the stage to an explosion of flowers and confetti. "Hellooooooooooooo students!" He said, flashing them all a large grin and finger gunning his way towards the podium. "As young Emilia has said I am your principal. I hope to see you all grow into fantastic pilots in your time here...but I'm not here to bore you. You've got plenty of time to get serious when classes start. I'd like you all to stand up. This is your first day here so for now...it's time to party!" He pointed up at the ceiling and the lights dimmed. A giant disco ball lowered and cast flashing lights through the auditorium. As the students stood the chairs began to lower into the ground to make more space and out of seemingly nowhere people dressed in tuxes began to walk around with drinks and food to distribute among the students. And music began to play.
  10. "The north. Very north." While Rona wasn't trying to listen in, everyone had seemed to settle in to small talk, that part caught her attention. The Wyvern Rider stared at the girl for a while. Very north. Same as Rona. For all she knew she came from the city near where Rona, and her family, lived. If that was the case she had most certainly seen her father a time or two. He was a hard man to miss. Rona took back off into the air as she felt the panic start to grip at her. She had a job to take care of. No time for these idle thoughts. Not that scanning the empty field before them was doing much to distract her... It wasn't until she saw the caravan that something was report-worthy. She flew down to Leon to tell him, in order to warn him to change course and avoid it. But of course Leon insisted they go in anyway. With a grim nod Rona continued along the path, staying low to the ground as they approached, and hoped there wasn't going to be an ambush. There was an ambush. And once again it seemed the bandits were targeting Jourans. What was this? Was the military working with bandits now to bring them in? For what purpose? Rona's thoughts strayed again to her father. She knew he always wanted to invade this country. He thought it was weak. That their people deserved to control it. But there couldn't have been that much of an escalation since she was last there could there have been? Either way it seemed that it was time to fight. Which was something Rona knew very well. She felt an almost calm creep over her as she took out her Steel Axe. "Suppose it's time to test this thing out!" Rona shouted before taking off. She couldn't reach the bandits from her position but she could get near. If she swept through the right side she could get to their boss quickly and eliminate him. She flew near the edge of one of the carriages and focused her attention on the Lancer on the other side.
  11. So I felt like it so I added a poll to the OP to see which game and which starter y'all are thinking about getting. Obviously it'll change once we get more info (I want to see some more exclusives before finalizing a decision on which game to go with) but I'm sure most of you have some idea.
  12. Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren "Why would you want advice for that?" "Yeah, he gets distracted by girls way too often as it is." Mac said. "He shouldn't be so worried about them and just focus on fighting." "It's... w-well... I-I... u-um... w-well... h-help might be nice, b-but I think I sh-should figure out how my group is going to s-survive fights against G-godslayers f-first... I can work o-on it a-after we don't die, y-you know?" "Yeah, see? He's finally learning what's important so don't go distracting him." Mac said, waving a finger at Tornadus. The Legend howled with laughter. "Oh is that so? Well let me tell you kids something. You'll all have to learn about romance sooner or later. It's what makes life worth living! Just look around at how happy it makes everyone!" Then he shrugged. "Everyone's so worried about this Godslayer business. Don't get it myself. They'll run into the wrong Legend soon enough and get taken down. Maybe they caught us by surprise but that's over now. Just look at me." He spread his arms wide "Do you really think someone could take me down?" Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Merm Palace "I'm so silly. Well, you see, I was looking for my friend Dora, is all. Have you seen her anywhere, sir?" "My room?" The Kingdra said, glancing in. His eyes focused on the paintings and he shook his head adamantly. "No, of course not, that's uh...that's someone else's room. A Wailord I know, yeah, just was wondering why you were here...a-anyway, let's forget about that alright? The Princess is with the Queen right now. Her mother, that is." The Kingdra's expression saddened. "Poor girl." He said solemnly. --- The Poliwrath was barely able to see straight as Brooke made her charge. She threw her hands up in front of her and launched a Bubblebeam at Brooke. Regardless of the damage done to Brooke by this it wasn't fast enough to stop the charge and the guard was slammed into the wall once more. This time sliding down to the floor, unconscious. Meanwhile Gisei was holding a foot onto the Starmie, who was still struggling, with his launcher pointed at them. "It's over." He said. "Is it, now?" A low, angry, voice sounded. The King of Merm stepped into view, flanked by a pair of Corpish guards. "It would appear my lack of trust for land dwellers was well founded. Tell me, did you plan on using my daughter to break into here or was that just a bonus?" --- The area past the door looked to be some sort of rocky tunnel. There were lights, coming from some kind of shining coral, along the sides as he went along it. A couple minutes of walking would bring him to a shallow pool of water. Where a child lay floating lazily across the water. Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau "OI! I'm over here! So don't even think about ignoring me like that!" Heatran had, indeed, been watching the rising water with a scowl on his face. He glanced over at Randy as the Fire Blast struck his body and he absorbed the flames. "I don't think you're strong enough to get my full attention. But if you want some you can have it!" He raised an arm and it erupted into flames, his skin itself covered in fire, before a Flamethrower, larger than the one before, blasted out at Randy. Marie's Water Gun struck him for the second time and he winced as it sizzled against the side of his face. "Enough of that!" He roared and, crouching down, leapt up towards the two while they stood atop the Surf. He was aiming his body for Keanu and brought his head back to deliver and Iron Head onto the Electric type as they got closer. --- "Nice to meet you. I don't think we've met before. Sorry if I'm eyeing you a bit; I haven't met a lot of Tyranitars before, and I keep hearing all sorts of amazing things about them. You must be the sister of these two, right?" Allie raised her eyebrow at the girl. "And who are you? You some kind of foreigner? I met a few of those a while back you know, you one of them?" She said. The tone seemed to be trying for friendly but there was a clear sharpness to it as well. "Yeah, these brats are my sisters. Causing you some trouble I see, Trevor." Trevor nodded, slowly. "Suppose so...Welcome back." "We were gonna beat up Heatran for you." One of the girls said, causing Allie to laugh. "Well that woulda been great. I actually am planning on going over there and taking him on. I've gotten a lot stronger. I think I can take him this time. You wanna come with, Trevor, it'd be a lot easier with you next to me." Trevor shook his head. "That's...not..." He muttered, blushing bashfully. "I couldn't do that." he finished. She shrugged. "Well, more glory for me I guess." She eyed Nani. "What about you?" Team Showdown, Day 31, Oasis Landorus frowned at the two who were standing before him. He rolled his shoulders and pushed himself up, standing at his full eight feet. "My younger brother, both of them honestly, were idiots." He declared bluntly. "They both were carefree and the world has a habit of punishing that." He placed his fists on his hips. "Thank you for your words but it's not necessary. I grieve his loss but he knew the risks he took putting himself in the open like that." The man waved his hand around. "I had to hide myself when I woke up to avoid the same fate. After years of slumber this is the world I wake to." He shook his head. "Rayquaza must be getting desperate. I knew leaving him in charge when Arceus left was too much for the boy." He narrowed his eyes and leaned down towards the two. "You both feel like warriors. I can sense the urge to battle inside of you. What is it you want from me exactly? Not what he wants, but you." Team Karaoke, Day 37, Deadlands "not really no. We're all individuals and all making choices, and I can't possibly think that everything I've ever wanted to or ever will do was preordained. Not even the gods themselves seem like they're that rigid in following a set plan." "Maybe we just can't see their plan." Gwen responded. She poked at the fire with a twig. Looking, without really seeing, as the small stick ignited as well. "I think...that there's a task for each of us. Something we're meant to do." She frowned. "I don't mean it's one's entire life. But there's something we were born to do in the world. Maybe you do it at a young age and you're free of the task. Maybe you won't get to it until your twilight years. But it's something that you're meant to do." She looked over at Nine. "If you found out what your task was...what would you do?" -- "Try not to look so pale - you look like you've seen a ghost." Kayla looked at him blankly, clearly not having gotten the joke. "Where I come from...not Juyu, before then, most people were liars or thieves. You learned...to...know when something wasn't right. This...task, doesn't feel right." She shuffled a few feet away from Lok. "I don't know what will happen once we complete it. I don't know if you know, or, if you think you know, or if you don't have any idea either. But you know something...don't you?" She shook a bit as she finished talking, not used to direct confrontation, and kept her gaze off to the side.
  13. The knights saw the group off with a wish of good luck and a promise that they could come back there for shelter if they had to. While the group set out on their way Keres could be found with parchment in her hand, writing down notes as they passed by the grassland. She trailed behind the rest as she examined the field. The animals. And the plants that sprouted up. She started to fall farther behind as they continued along the path. Everything was much more pleasant than the desert. The temperature wasn't nearly as unrelenting. The sun felt much more natural. And all the winds did was sent the scent of flowers to their senses. Damien made sure to travel near the elf girl and, when Lindow asked her question, the young man laughed. "Right I'm sure they told all sorts of things. If the Council is known for one thing it's their gift at sharing knowledge." She winked at the girl. "Don't worry, this isn't an interrogation, Dark and Stabby is just an inquisitive boy." He looked towards Ryia. "You've been quiet for a while, something on your mind?" He asked with a smile. As they could tell from afar the farther they got the taller the grass got. To the point where it was getting difficult for them to see over it. Unless someone went to her Keres would be fairly far behind the rest at this point. Over a dozen feet from the back of the procession. She had finished up a sentence when suddenly she heard a rustling noise in the grass. The wind had just passed, bringing with it a sweet flower scent, and she could tell this wasn't just wind. "Hey, everyone." She called out, the volume of her voice not much above talking level. And then figures came through the grass. Giant bees. About the size of large dogs, flying a couple feet above their heads, with foot long stingers coming from their thorax. The creatures had emerged from somewhere inside the grass and surrounded the group in moments.
  14. Ahhh so it was cause of Peace that the Bloodbath was that way...and now the games can really begin.
  15. I was gonna vote Marisa. I've never seen the April anime and don't know anything about the girl. But something makes me think that I would really like the other girl.
  16. The wolf is cute but Zinnia is both cute and pretty interesting. Would be fun to see more out of her.
  17. Delthea is cute...And I never really cared much for the Metroid series.
  18. I've said it before but usually the MC of action things I don't like nearly as much as the rest of the cast. Kill la Kill is a huge exception.
  19. I have no idea who the first is but Daisy is great. She should get more games for herself.
  20. Watched Into the Spider-Verse. Might be favorite superhero movie.

    1. Hina's Simp

      Hina's Simp

I can't even categorize it in the Superhero genre. It is literally something else; a literal comic book put to film and I love it. It is one of my favorite films of the last year.

    2. Chaos Sonic

      Chaos Sonic

I'm hoping for a sequel to it. Cause there are SOOOOOO many different Spiders I want.

    3. Thar

      Thar

Can't wait for the sequel, Into the Spider-Chorus.

  21. Wait did I miss something did nothing...happen?
