  1. Location: Trailsau (Team Alola, day 27) Inventory: Good Rod, Antidote, Kasib Berry She saw it all, of course. The exchange of blows. Marie's attack. Allie falling over, and failing to get up this time. This fight was over. Good. Nani haphazardly covered up her face with what she could among the torn-up remains of her hood. With a bit of time though, of course she could fix it. Hideous though she may have been, Nani always had a natural penchant for tailor work. Even with what was left of her hood covering up her face, Nani kept her head angled downward as she shakily stood back up. What the cloth didn't cover would be covered by the tangled mess that was her hair. Nani stumbled her way along, passing by and glancing at her teammates to make sure they were all still okay. She gave Marie in particular a thumbs-up, not that she expected the Brionne would make much sense of it under the Mimikyu's long sleeves that reached past her hands. "...well, guess this means...this time...we actually won. What a relief..." We should finish her off. It was certainly not the right course of action. But it was the one Nani couldn't help but think about. She probably wouldn't have spared us if we lost. And I can't say I'm eager to have another run-in with her. There was no way she'd get the others to agree to it though. And doing it herself without saying anything would be an outstanding way to alienate herself from the rest of the group. As much as the idea of it appealed to her, the action itself would have to just stay in Nani's imagination. And so, she turned her attention to her top priority. Gesturing vaguely around her head, Nani stated "A needle. And some thread. I'm not picky about the color, but I'll need those things to fix my hood. We can go looking for those things later. Good job, team." And with that, Nani joined Marie and Randy in plopping down onto the ground, taking care to land face-down.
  2. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Geoff, the so-called "Chosen of Buffalo" was also tagging along. While Pyrrha would be lying if she said she was stoked to have this guy on her team, Keres did make a solid point. Geoff had been traveling alone, hadn't he? If so, he was probably rather powerful, and able to carry his own weight. Maybe having him along wouldn't be too bad, even if he was a bit eccentric. At the very least, there were worse ideas for the sorts of people one could team up with. And so, Pyrrha tried to keep her spirits high about their new companion, as the Chosen - including the fake - departed from town. There was a quest to resolve. A few hours later, and the group had stopped to rest at a rather grim location. This wasn't Pyrrha's first run-in with dead bodies, but it never seemed to feel any less shocking to encounter them. Although she was a bit winded herself, Pyrrha didn't mind continuing onward. If the group had to stop however, she'd make use of her current location. Pyrrha wanted to know what the hell had happened here, and took to looking the bodies over. Arrows and spears sticking out of their bodies at least told her it wasn't magic of some sort. However, something was bothering her. The lady in town had said there was trouble with the minotaur tribes, right? So why did these weapons seem perfectly normal in scale? Maybe it was just her having misconceptions of minotaurs, but it seemed odd that these were weapons she could have wielded herself if they weren't broken. As if to confirm that fact, Pyrrha pulled a few broken arrows from various bodies, then a handful from her quiver. The size wasn't all that different. At the very least, it probably wasn't minotaurs behind this. Arastos did say they're not the type to cause trouble. Bandits, perhaps? Awfully bold move of them. Whatever it was, this was something worth getting to the bottom of. Pyrrha put the broken arrows down in a neat little line; those wouldn't do her any good. She wanted to ask Ryia something right now, but with Geoff being part of the group, she wasn't exactly eager to blow her cover as an actual Chosen. "We shouldn't stay here for long. Catch your breath but we need to keep moving." "Yeah," Pyrrha agreed, pulling out her new bow and resting an arrow on the string, just in case. If all these dead bodies were here, there was no telling if whoever made them that way would look to add the Chosen in disguise to their collection. "I'm ready to keep going whenever the rest of you are. I've got a bad feeling about this place." Pyrrha made a mental note of where she was though. There was something important she wanted to do here after the job was done.
  3. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 700 "If you aren't you're even less worth our time. This'll be fast. Kenta, take care of her." "So you'll just waste your time anyway to prove a point," Kanon sighed under her breath. "Hey! I'm Kenta, welcome...er, let's do this! I can't wait to see how tough your Pokemon are. Kinda...soft looking ain't he?" At least Kenta didn't seem like a bad sort. With that, however, it was time to battle. Sentiments on whether he was a good person or not could wait. Kenta sent out his pokemon - a geodude - and the battle got officially underway. "Now this, this is what tough looks like! Geodude, Tackle!" "Ursula, reflect it!" With a chirping trill, the Inkay put up a barrier between itself and the geodude, which the latter crashed through on its way to attack Kanon's pokemon. The damage was certainly mitigated, but saying there was none at all would be a lie. With the protective screen up, Kanon reasoned it was probably best to let someone better suited to handle these rocks take over. And who better than her most trusty of companions right now? Kanon held out two poke balls, opening the first one to return Ursula to her spherical shelter, before pressing the button on the other to release her trusty poliwag. "Bubbles, hit it with a water gun!" And so the pokemon obliged.
  4. "Wah oo ot dere?" Kellz had arrived too! Vivian knew that it was bad table manners to talk with one's mouth full, but she wasn't really in a position to complain. She'd only just met this girl today for one, and family dinners back home were a lot like that too. Loud, talkative, and caring less about one's manners and more about just having a good time. She gave the girl a friendly wave as Stella gave her a rather less friendly look. As the two looked through the other pictures remaining on Vivian's camera, and Stella explained what she was doing, Vivian ate away at her fries, one at a time. When the camera was returned to her, Vivian made a mental note. She wanted to take a picture of this place when she left. "Man, these are pretty impressive. Do you do a lot of climbing?" "A bit," Vivian answered, trying to keep it modest. "I've climbed a lot of trees before, but climbing buildings is a bit more difficult, especially if it had been raining recently." Going to a picture of one of the buildings, Vivian pointed to a few struts coming out of the sides and into the pavement below. "These make it a lot easier to climb them though. There's also these little teleporters in the cities though; they don't go very far, but they're enough to make it easy to get between different levels of the city. Outside of town though, you don't get those, so you get a lot of exercise just by exploring. I may not look like much, but I'm an all-terrain girl if ever you'll meet one!" Vivian also opted to exclude the comments that climbing was a lot more difficult during the Colian stormy season, and that the local police didn't approve of climbing buildings, even if it wasn't strictly illegal. Looking at these two, each short an organic limb, Vivian had a feeling they wouldn't be much for climbing. "I'll admit, it's a bit of a hobby of mine. Exploring, taking pictures, that sort of thing. What about the rest of you? There must be something you like doing with your downtime, right?"
  5. I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.... You shall fall," the evil demon, which is the evil, says. Then the king says to him, "What I say is true; it is not right that this man be left alone, and this son be left with his father, that my children may live." And the evil demon laughs, and says to his father, "This was your idea, my father! But it was also God's, and that shall be so with you again." And all the earth was darkened, and the stars were darkened, and the glory of the earth was taken away from before the eyes of men, who are now called by the name of wicked men. Then the king of Egypt was wroth, and he cried to the Lord, that he should have power to smite the Egyptians. But the Word made a great earthquake in heaven, and all the host of heaven fell to the earth, and the sun and all his host, and all the power of the hosts of heaven was cast down to the earth. Then the

  9. "I'm trying to tie this vine to this rock." Oh? "Then when that... Machinedramon... comes in here, we can push this off and ram it with these, which will hopefully at the very least slow it down, maybe even knock it over." "Kind of barbaric, isn't it?" Kokoro asked, with a raised eyebrow. She shrugged. "Well, better than sitting around twiddling our thumbs or harping on others for trying to do something." "There's hardly even a 'something' you humans can do to that thing, though!" Hackmon interjected, before his toes were met with the heel end of Kokoro's shoe. That kept him quiet and more focused on his foot than on Connor's efforts to at least try something against the hulking enemy out there. And then, it happened. Connor repeated the words Kokoro had brought to him, and in a burst of flame, he transformed. He was something different now. Something called Agunimon. As Connor hopped down from the platform he'd been on, Kokoro started picking up where he'd left off on tying this vine. She had to admit, she was impressed that he'd gotten as far as he did with this despite only having one arm. Even so, as she watched him from behind, only a single syllable could escape her lips. "...tch." She should have taken that armor after all. Definitely. Seeing Connor in that state because he took something Kokoro didn't wasn't sitting well with her. She turned her attention away from him and to this stupid rock. And that's when a light caught the corner of her eye, from the back of the room. The altar back there was... glowing? There had to be something special back there. She could see three items on it that weren't there before, and also that Tatewaki and Mackenzie had already claimed one each. She'd be damned if she missed not one, but two chances to get something out of this mess. Hurrying the finishing touches on her knot-tying job, Kokoro jumped off the platform once she was done and made a beeline for the altar in the back. She grabbed the last device off the thing, watching in amazement as it changed shape in her hand to something like what Tatewaki and Mackenzie had, but distinctly different. Judging by what Mackenzie's worm had said, this meant she and Hackmon could be proper partners now? As the little hooded creature shambled on over, seemingly still recovering from Kokoro stepping on his toes a bit, he commented "With that, we can be a proper team, human and digimon. That said, I'd like a partner who isn't as rough." "Sorry, but I'm what you've got. I'll make it up to you later." Now then... what do these actually do? How do they work?
  10. She'd mapped the room out. It wasn't entirely a maze. Only the outer parts. There was no way to worm her way through the maze to the center, and the walls at the center of the maze were too high to jump over. Indeed, the only way to get her hands on that key was to fly. Then fly she would! With a mighty leap upward, the bat girl flapped her wings... and while she did get some extra air, it wasn't long before she was back on the floor again. Again. Again. Again. No matter how many tries it would take, Hibiki was getting up there, grabbing that key, and passing her test! Twenty? Fifty? It had to be at least two-hundred attempts by now. Even someone with Hibiki's incredible circulation was running out of breath by now. Were all those training videos for nothing? Hibiki raked the back of her mind as she sat down to catch her breath, thinking about all the information she'd gathered from those videos and her texting spree with Hikari. One particular text stood out in that moment. When they're trying to run faster on the ground, bats hop and bound along. Like a rabbit! Maybe that was worth a shot! Hibiki got down into a runner's position this time, rather than just hopping up and flapping her wings. As the bat girl ran she began flapping her wings in rhythm with her footsteps, moving along a relatively long corridor within the maze. Her run turned into more of a skip, then a series of hops, before with a great jump and with a bigger, stronger flap of the wings, Hibiki took off. Hibiki braced herself for impact as she continued flapping, but... nothing. All she could feel was the air beneath her, as if she was swimming in air. Flight! She'd done it! ...only to fly directly into a wall in her excitement. Hibiki plummeted to the floor, landing quite a bit harder than usual. That was gonna leave a mark. But she knew how to take off now. All that was left was to brush it off, get up, catch her breath, and do it again! And then get a hold of this steering thing.
  11. "Heeeey! It's, it's P...P....it's the elf! I've been here this whole time. Good job at finding me. The others don't wanna come in?" Pyrrha wasn't sure why nobody else followed her inside. Maybe they weren't the social types? Ryia and Keres definitely didn't seem like much for conversation. Reinaan kind of came off as a bit overly wary to her. And Lindow was also drunk. That just left Pyrrha. She would have preferred at least one of the others to come in with her, but she could handle this herself. Just some friendly conversation. "This is Ara...ara ara...Arastos! This is Arastos, say hi Arastos!" "As this man creature says I am Arastos. Not often have I seen your kind in this place. If you came for him I cannot say he will be of much use in the way he is now." "Ahh... that's fine. Nice to meet you. We can come back for Damien if we have to. I'm mostly just glad to have found him." It would probably be fine to leave him for a bit, to take care of that mission. Pyrrha started as if she was going to turn to leave, but stopped. Arastos was a minotaur. If anyone could clue her in on what was wrong with the tribes, then surely... "Is it alright if I ask you something before heading out, though?" The minotaur stared at the girl for a long moment before responding. It felt as though he was looking through her in those moments. Then, with a grunt, he inclined his head. "Go ahead." Don't ask if you can touch the horn. Don't ask if you can touch the horn. "I heard there's some trouble with the local minotaur tribes. Sorry if it comes off the wrong way, but being a minotaur yourself, I figured you might know if that's true, and if so, what's the problem they're having?" His eye narrowed. "We do not cause trouble." He responded. "The tribes are keeping to themselves. If this causes trouble it is not the fault of them." "Got it." It wasn't much, but at least it was a more definitive account that the minotaurs weren't the problem. Something else was at play here. "Thanks for the quick answer, Arastos! I'll leave you and Damien to whatever you were doing." This place smelled like beer. Pyrrha kind of wanted to get out as quickly as possible. She'd never had any of the stuff, despite multiple groups she used to travel with insisting, and she wasn't about to start today. She stepped outside to join the other Chosen. "Damien won't be much help right now," she explained, quickly and to-the-point. "He's... really drunk. So I guess it's just us taking care of that request."
  12. In the pictures Stella had shown, behind herself and Kellz, Vivian could see the world they'd come from. It was very urbanized! A little too much so, one might argue. But in the end, surely that kind of planet had all manner of big-city wonders that couldn't quite fit in the vertical cities Vivian was used to. There was no way it could be all bad. If anything, it was Vivian that was bad since her first criteria had been how green the world would be. How inconsiderate! This very planet she was on right now didn't seem like it'd be especially natural either, yet it had such wonderful things as MechA cademy and hamburgers. Right. A visit to this heavily-urbanized world would surely be a good way for Vivian to broaden her horizons and stuff. "Oh um, right. I also can't really picture where you live. Or, well, I think I'm way off the mark." "I should share pictures too, right? My pleasure!" Vivian went through the pictures in her trusty camera, after fishing it out of her purse. They were incredibly organized. Pictures of wildlife. Pictures of scenery. Silly pictures that amused her. Those sorts of folders and more. She'd already shown Stella some of the wildlife earlier today, but now it was time to share some scenery too. And share she did, getting into the appropriate folder and putting her phone down on the table for Stella to see, turning the phone to face her prosthetic-legged friend and scrolling to a new picture every so often. Some pictures were sunny, many were rainy, and a select few were something worse, and suffered poor visibility for it. Many of the pictures were of the dense jungles right outside of her city, but there were also plenty of other things to see in Vivian's collection of scenery pictures. Cities that stretched up and above the canopy of the trees, with many of the things that were present in Stella's pictures. Cars, houses, shops, all that good stuff. The keen eye may have noticed that the city in Vivian's picture seemed a bit cramped though; the buildings were a bit smaller and had some odd architectural features, and any alleys between the buildings were pretty narrow. Some pictures were also taken in spots where Vivian was able to aim the camera downward, to make it clear how high up the cities reached. Near the end, there were a few pictures of a vast ocean, some of which were taken under the surface, where something - or rather, several somethings - seemed to be glowing. Including one picture taken from the sky, showing that the ocean was dotted with a number of small islands. "I don't live in a coastal city, but I did visit one on my way off the planet to get here," she explained. "There's other things to see too, but I haven't visited those places yet." Overall, it seemed that Vivian's collection was rather thorough about exploring every facet of what the scenery had to offer.

  15. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 700 "Whaaaa? W'dya mean? Isn't that where we're now? It'd be like this.... Right?" "Well, this part is anyway." If she'd brought a map of her native Hoenn with her, this would be the part where Kanon pulled that out to explain what she meant. But alas, there was no such map on her person. "Think about it like this. The Hoenn Region where I'm from has a big rainforest in the north, but that's not the whole region. A lot of it is open plains and small islands broken off from the mainland. Even here in Korova, we crossed through that marsh before. What we see right here probably isn't what the whole region's like." Hopefully that made sense, because that was about the best explanation Kanon could think up. Even if she wanted to go into further detail though, she didn't quite have the time to before she and her group were interrupted by a rather rude boy and his little entourage. "I recognize you, you were on that boat from the other regions too right? Looks like you haven't been here long, are all the rest of the groups that far behind? We were just about to head out but what do you say we have ourselves a little battle? Since we're all here for the same thing why don't we find out who's the strongest right now?" "Saying we're all here for the same thing is a bit of a bold assumption," Kanon retorted. All the same, she reached for a poke ball, sending it out and releasing her Inkay from its spherical confines.
  16. Day 8, ?:00, Mall Points: 61 W/L Record: 3/3 "But I suppose if you want to think of me as a princess you better start calling me 'your highness' fufufu." "I'll pass." A princess Morgan most certainly wasn't. She'd seen them in storybooks when she was a little girl. Good princesses, evil princesses, Morgan didn't really seem to fit the bill for any of them. "So, Ross, what do you think. Is this place less dull than where you're from?" Honestly, Aurora would have been surprised if this place wasn't as exciting as Ross's world. Although, the not-vampire had been pretty full of surprises since showing up, so maybe that was precisely the case. Whatever it was, Aurora didn't pay much attention to Ross's answer. Instead, the hero-to-be's focus was on something else. Another Plants in Pants poster, for an upcoming show. And the rabid fangirl that seemed desperate to get her hands on a ticket for a show that was starting to sell out. So desperate she was, in fact, that she approached the trio of Arena fighters, begging them to buy her a ticket. Aurora looked at the price of admission. 100 points. Not quite within Aurora's budget. "I'm... actually a bit strapped for cash myself right now," Aurora confessed to the rabid Plants fan. "If you can meet me here tomorrow though, and there's still tickets available, I should be able to cover you." Transferring or pooling points didn't quite work, as Aurora recalled. Otherwise she would've been happy to do that with this girl if she had the other points. With a light nudge to Ross's arm, Aurora continued "Unless one of y'all two are feeling generous today, at least."
  17. Location: Trailsau (Team Alola, day 27) Inventory: Good Rod, Antidote, Kasib Berry This was probably not a safe position to be in. Right in front of Allie, Nani's own movement slowed even further, with the Tyranitar's hand reaching out to grab Nani. However, this was exactly the spot Nani needed to be in right now. As Allie grabbed Nani by the throat, an idea popped into the Mimikyu's mind. Namely, as long as Allie had one arm committed to Nani, that was one less arm to focus on everyone else with. She wasn't the sturdiest team member by any metric, but she tried to consider this as a way of making up for sitting out every other fight so far, and only showing up at the last second against Blake and Yveltal. Plus, Allie wasn't the only one here with a scary face. And so, as Allie reached her arm out, Nani abruptly tossed her head back, taking the sorry ribbons of her hood off her face and exposing what lurked underneath in its entirety to Allie, staring right back at her with a copy of that same frightening aura. Then, as the Tyranitar grabbed Nani, she swung her lower half back, then quickly forward, kicking at Allie's ribs. Ideally, by playing rough like this, she'd be able to get out of the Tyranitar's grip before she did anything too serious, and springboard off her opponent. That just left the question of what to do next if that all worked out like that.

Music: 6/10 Video: 4/10 if I'm being quite honest. Comes off to me as a lot of buildup that tries to be trippy followed immediately by an aftermath without a climax. Really goes to show how much people care about someone else's opinion on their taste in music.
  20. "Buuuut, if you really wanted to thank me. Why don't you and your club come with me to Kickoff!" A club trip to Kickoff, huh? “Mmmm… I’ll bring it up at least. It’s not like I can force them all to show up. I’ll go though, if that’s what you want.” Her artistic skill wasn’t that great, but Kyouko was clearly working with a clear image in mind of what she wanted her costume to look like. With the helmet done, Kyouko started work on drawing a rough outline of the rest of her body, then tackled the boots next. This outfit didn’t look all that comfortable, the more she looked at it. But this was her best shot yet, so she wasn’t going to throw it out just because of that. “Do I need to dress up all formal for it or something?” Jun took a moment to gather herself, stunned by how easily her roommate had agreed to go to this social gathering of people. All the same, clearing her throat as she was asked the question, the girl held out both her arms to her side. “You can probably just go like you are. Although, I’m sure I have a spare bow tie somewhere for you.” “I’ll pass on that.” At least she could just dress casually and comfortably for it. Being in this event with a bunch of people was going to be uncomfortable enough. If she had to wear some stuffy suit or embarrassing frilly dress for it on top of that, Kyouko wasn’t sure she’d be able to last the whole event. Even without such clothes, she wasn’t certain if she’d stay for the whole thing. But it was what Jun wanted her to do as thanks for helping figure out the costume problem. Come to think of it, hadn’t the club leader sent out that text to everyone? Yeah. Looking at her texts again, it was that one from the number she hadn’t saved, talking about the entertainment club. Kyouko put the pencil down, sending a text back to the number she didn’t feel like saving to her contacts. we’re going to kickoff. pass it on to the rest of the club. And send. “I told the club leader to get word out to the rest of the club about us showing up. Still can’t promise they’ll all show up. Why did you want the whole club to show up anyway?” Folding her arms the girl mumbled, “well, that’s about the only person you could stand to not invite.” Perking back up, she then looked at her roommate saying, “well, the more the merrier right? And you just made a whole bunch of friends, so why not bring them all along?” “A bit soon to start calling them friends, I’d say. We’ve only had the one meeting.” The one she knew best was that tiny nun, and even then she’d struggle to call her anything more than a very loose acquaintance. As she remembered it, even getting to the stage of calling herself and Jun “friends” took a bit. Though considering it was Kyouko’s memory, she very well could have been wrong. “And even then, not much happened. We just talked about personas and costumes, but it looks like I’m figuring mine out now, thanks to you.” Oh yeah, this was looking good. But she still wasn’t sure how well she’d be able to really embody the idea of being the bad guy. Pushing her hand out of her sleeve, the girl started wagging her finger at Kyouko. “That’s no good, Koko. The first part to making more friends is thinking that you are so. And well, even if you aren’t, as long as you don’t hate them, then this’ll be a great bonding activity!” Putting her finger to her chin she said, “maybe you can all get some ideas or something for your entertainment or whatever.” "Maybe." With the rough drawing of her costume finished, Kyouko took the piece of paper, and rather than crumpling it up and throwing it into the trash, she folded it up - albeit a bit haphazardly - and tucked it into her hoodie pocket. She got up from the chair, stretched a bit, and started mentally prepping herself for Kickoff. Although she couldn't escape the gut feeling that she'd regret showing up, she did give her word that she'd be there. She needed to eat something good before the big event. Kyouko whipped out her phone a second time as she stepped out of the room, sending a followup text to that club leader. also, my costume design is done. where can i find that wizard friend of yours to turn it in?

    Pokemon Atlas [R-16/IC]

The refreshing sea breeze. The warm sun on her skin. The soft sand beneath her boots. The blue sky above her. These and other things were what filled Ran's mind as she looked out to the ocean. Or rather, as she remembered looking out to it. The sight of the ocean was a bit too natural for her, not to mention it had a rather ornery Poliwag in it that surfaced purely to spit seawater in Ran's face, before swimming off into the majestic ocean it called home. She much preferred the sterile, only slightly cool, and wild- pokemon-free air inside the local Pokemon Center. A bit of fresh air was healthy of course, but maybe it was her luck with "fresh air" for the last few months before finally leaving town that gave her a suspicion that it was all a hoax meant to keep kids from staying inside all day. After a not-so-brief trip to the bathroom to thoroughly dry her face off, and at least give it her best effort with her hair, Ran stepped into the center proper. People were gathering, here to get those GPS spikes no doubt. Ran had already collected hers. Ran, for one, was ready to get her adventure started. But she'd need some other new trainers to team up with, right? It wasn't a bad idea to rely on others a bit, but Ran took a mental note to make sure she didn't end up just being a burden. She looked around for potential partners. Most notable in the moment was a boy with a Cyndaquil, talking on a vidcall with... someone that looked familiar, even if Ran couldn't quite put her finger on where she'd seen that guy before. Couldn't have been that important then, probably. All the same, Ran sat down at the bench a comfortable enough distance from the boy. She didn't extend her hand out, but did nod in his direction, holding up a couple of GPS spikes of her own. "You're here for MapCo's program too, right? I overheard you talking to your pokemon. They'll probably make us team up, so I thought I'd find at least one other trainer to team up with before they announce anything. If that's alright with you."
  22. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 700 "Ohoho, is that so? I had an INKling that there was something going on there, ohoho! Sounds very FISHy if you ask me, OHOHO!" It didn't sound like the mayor was taking this very seriously. "Oho no. Well, in any case, that sounds like a job for the Professor, not me! I have to run this city I don't have time to mess around with some kind of historical thingamagic. That kind of stuff is up to the League and, well, what with the Champion gone missing I suppose it just will have to be put on The List." The List? And the Champion was missing? Kanon's interest was piqued. Was it some sort of to-do list for the Champion to fill out after they turned up? Kanon didn't really get why this sort of thing was outside of the mayor's field, since ensuring everyone's safety was part of running the city, right? Truth be told, Kanon didn't know the first thing about that sort of political stuff. "Well then, it looks like we'll have to find the champion. If he's gone missing, then that can't be anything but trouble!" Kanon nodded in agreement, following the boy as he left the office and also thanking the mayor for his time. "Maybe I should've asked him about Team Phoenix..but he doesn't seem to knowledgeable of the goings on around here. We should probably just start trekking forward again. I'm sure we'll find someone who knows what to do." Indeed, a missing Champion was bad news. While Kanon didn't fully understand the scope of trainer stuff like that, even she knew that much. Trekking forward sounded good to Kanon. She wasn't especially eager to stay in this big city, and now that they were on mainland Korova, there was a whole region to explore in front of them. She didn't want to admit it, but Kanon was actually pretty excited to get exploring. As much as Kanon wanted to contact the professor about that statue, it wasn't like she had any means of doing so. Hopefully someone else would be able to get that taken care of. "What sort of region do you think Korova will turn out to be?" Kanon asked as she began the trek forward. "I've always wanted to try visiting someplace tropical like Alola, but I get the hunch this isn't quite that sort of region."
