  1. I recently was thinking how I'd like to be able to play a YGO game on the Switch...though I hoped, unrealistically, for one I wouldn't have to figure out Links (and Pendulums at that) but never thought I'd get any of that so this is nice.
  2. I feel kinda bad for Joe but...Thousand Year Door is one of the best video games period. Simple as that.
  3. Ah, PoR. My sister got Sacred Stones for me for my birthday and I played it for hours. Wanted more and eventually at a rental place found a copy for sale for 6 dollars (later I found out it was worth 100) and picked it up. The cast is really fun and the gameplay is simple but fun. Probably one of the best of the Fire Emblems for me. ...Never played Sunshine.
  4. Wind Waker is actually the one Zelda game I love. The art and feel of it was just so fun. I could rant about Luigi's Mansion but I won't.
  5. I'm not a big Zelda fan but I do like Midna a lot. Besides that I always found the game a little dull overall. Smash I enjoyed mostly for all the different things you could do in it. Lot of modes and custom modes to make it even bigger. Always fun to come up with your own mode.
  6. Gabby felt her heart thud in her chest. Bang, bang, bang, as she stood there with her arm confidently outstretched and finger pointing at the man who had brought out such a powerful Monster the other day. She couldn't believe she was doing this. Everyone was staring. But...but that was good. She was being noticed. That's what she wanted...right? "Allow us? I'm pretty sure it's the other way around, kid," "And who are you calling kid?" Gabriela snapped back. "I'll have you know that in my country the 'kids' are already far more advanced in maturity than adults of this land. Why, I should be calling YOU kid." Why was she like this? Thankfully a pretty girl, wasn't that supposed to be some famous somebody, came up to ask the angry boy something and hopefully distract him from Gabriela. Gabby almost let out an "eep" as Hitomu responded to her. Not only deciding to test her himself but also bringing her out to food. Was this some kind of trick? One of those...pick up things? No, he wouldn't do something like that in front of all these people. Focus, Gabby, focus. Jun's disappointment caused an odd warmth in Gabby's heart. She had wanted to test her. Which meant she wanted to play with her. That felt kinda nice. "Never fear there's more than enough time in the future for me to make you one of my servants too." Gabriela told her. "And of course I must be tested by the captain. Only the best could possibly hope to contain my incredible power in a duel. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone in my test duel, kukuku." She put her hands on her hips and stood tall, or as tall as the short girl could stand, in front of Hitomu. "You may bring me to this 'Coffee Cards' place. Surely it must be an extravagant locale which will best showcase my talents. Go on, let us make haste. I wish to end this before it gets dark...where my power is even more dangerous." Gabby didn't want anyone to see how she froze up in the dark. It would ruin everything she had been building up.
  7. Team Showdown, Day 30, Southshore Forest "Why are you all talking so much?" Isole said. "We just have to fight, right?" She once more took the form she had earlier, when Taiga had to drag her into battle, of the mini snowstorm. However this time she moved towards the Crobat. The move reaching a surprising speed as an orb of ice in the center slammed into Veronica's ribs from the left side. Isole slipped out of the form and raised an arm, preparing to launch a Thunderbolt. As the Rotom moved, Zygarde let out a snarling noise and, body glowing a purplish color, stomped towards Veronica, aiming to unleash her Outrage on the swift woman. Team Karaoke, Day 33, Juyu BGM Gwen nearly dove off of Nine, face red and stammering her thanks for catching her. She stiffly floated next to Lok, casting one more awkward look back at Nine, and looked over the edge. "Oh." Was all she could say at first. They really were. And, even though they had slowed down, the ground beneath was passing rather rapidly. "She's so fast..." Gwen muttered. "I bet we'll be back home really soon like this right?" She said to Lok. "I wonder what we should do first. I bet your family is worried about you so maybe we should visit the first." The closer they got the more nervous Gwen felt. She had no idea how her parents would react to her traveling with Lok and Nine after all. "Are you all from Ghost Town?" Quincy shouted behind her towards the two. "I never been there really before. No one sends any mail to or from there. Wonder why that is...hey hey you two seem nice I heard people there liked to kidnap people though you aren't gonna try and kidnap me are you?" Despite the topic the girl's chipper tone didn't waver one instant. "have you ever taken this kind of ride before?" Kayla shook her head. "Never left Juyu...after moving there." She whispered. "But I'm used to moving fast...Wish I could actually fly though." She glanced over at Quincy and frowned. "What happens if you hit something though..." She seemed to think about this for a bit then shook her head. "Maybe the ground is better." Team Alola, Day 27, Far From The Cave That May Have Been Dangerous After All Over the next few days the group didn't encounter anything more dangerous than an occasional passing Gijinka who decided to take them on in a simple battle. Nothing nearly as life threatening or serious as what they have been getting up to. They would notice that the farther along they got the more smog and heat the air had. And soon they were able to see the outskirts of the city. Though calling it a city was a bit of a stretch. It was mostly a vast assortment of stone houses, all various distances apart. Some merely several feet and some over a hundred feet from each other. Near the edge of the city, farthest from where the group was, there was the volcano. A large mountain-like object where smoke was spewing from. Occasional lava bubbled over and hit what seemed to be a trench filled with water that was dug around the structure. Even from this distance they could hear the sounds of fighting and occasionally make out flashes of flames and electricity and other such things. As they got nearer they'd first see a cottage, oddly not made of stone like the others, farther away from the city than any of the rest of the buildings. Team Mac, Day 22, Ogren The Miltank smiled at Ari and tried, and failed, the urge to scoop him up into a hug. "Oh you're just so SWEET!" She said, hugging him tightly against her chest. She looked over to Kazo, still holding the boy up. "That sounds like you're less on an adventure more looking for a home. Maybe this place could be it?" She suggested with a sad smile. Then she looked towards Mac who had finished her food already. "And you?" "Home...is whatever." Mac began. Then realizing that wasn't enough continued. "It's not like I'm attached to it or anything. It's a place. I just...don't wanna...be stuck sitting there doin nothing. And now...well." She gave a grin. "Now I've got to be a hero." The Miltank looked confused and, finally, set Ari down. "What do you mean?" Mac puffed out her chest proudly. "We might not look like much....they might not look like much, but we took on some real bad people already. People who wanted to take down Legends even! So...So I've got a lot to do still you know?" The woman's face fell for a moment but then she laughed. "Oh, you must be kidding with me. There's no way you really did that, right?" She looked at the other two. "Right?" Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Under the Sea "I would love to hear more about your exploits...sir," The Lanturn practically swooned. "U-uh yeah. Well. It's it's not all that much really. There's not much trouble there usually we kind of are more ceremonial than anything. Parades and such....But sometimes we go out and fight the rabid Gijinka like those you all fought. The king makes sure we keep strong in case...Ya know." His eyes flicked upwards, in the direction of the surface. "B-But I'm sure that all sounds boring." "I have it on for medical reasons. As for my cape, well, I used to wear a scarf, but it didn't help much against the cold or the winds of the desert, so I upgraded to it. Never sacrifice practicality for coolness," The other soldier grunted. "I see....I didn't need to know for any particular reason. I was just curious, you see. It's very, uh, different from most of the people down here. We don't have much illnesses. Except..." He glanced sadly at Dora, who had finally succeeded in climbing on top of Brooke's back. "She's a very special little girl you know that right?" the soldier said suddenly, his voice low, as he looked back to Denku. "Everyone was so upset when she had gone missing. Especially the king..." He bit his lip, as if stopping himself from continuing. It wasn't much longer until they saw...the city BGM Encased in a huge bubble, which rippled and caused what seemed to be waves on its surface every once in a while, the city was vast. Larger than any on the surface baring Adarid City itself. And there were hundreds of colors. The buildings were laid out in such a way that they got taller the closer they got to the middle and they seemed to be made out of either coral or ivory, or both. Vast spires of white made up the middle section. The middle of which was wider and taller than the rest and seemed to be decorated in gems. Outside the surface of the bubble were various, armored, Water type Gijinka on chariots being pulled by large seahorses. Accompanying them were fierce looking fish nearly the size of the chariots. As they got closer the soldiers seemed to relax a moment before straightening up. The Chinchou moving the bubble slowed down and they approached the city with a respectful, slow, pace.
  8. Reinaan's warning and attack didn't seem to do much for Gilly. The girl had been about to turn around but the shark seemed to move faster than anyone could have predicted. Its jaws clamped down on Gilly's back and sunk its teeth into her flesh. The creature began to lift her but as it did the damaged spine, struck by Reinaan, began to crack. Still the shark managed to fling Gilly across the sand before the spine snapped and the upper half of the shark landed on the ground and began flopping uselessly. Gilly soared into the air and Hob, ever ready, rushed forward to try and catch his rider. Gilly landed on the loyal animal and knocked him to the ground. Both of them lay in the sand, unconscious. But the sharks were no more. --- There was a fog in Damien's mind. Something bringing out a primitive and instinctive urge in him. He could tell that he was in danger. He could feel, somewhere through that fog, the flames spreading across his clothes, but it was as if he was simply listening to someone recount the feeling rather than experiencing it himself. Damien tore away at the clothing that was causing the issues, flinging them to the side just as the elemental raised one arm and brought it down on him. He was slammed to the ground and lost grip of his blade. As the elemental raised his arm for another strike the young man almost desperately reached out for his fallen weapon. Keres half stumbled towards the side, moving closer to the fighting, as she thought about what Lindow said. She hated that he had to say that in the first place. Keres had intended this Chosen thing to be her chance to do something with her life and she was squandering it like this. If she was just going to fumble at this moment then why had she even left her home in the first place? No more. He was right. There wasn't time for indecision. She had to fight. Enter: The Water Chosen "Flux." Keres said. The jellyfish spirit did a bit of a twirl. "About time!" He then entered Keres's body and she felt a swelling of power. This creature was a dangerous magical entity. But no matter how powerful a flame it was. It was still a flame. "Your mistake...was relying on the strength of your flames." Keres said, as the remaining water she had stored away erupted into the air, a powerful spout of liquid. "And every flame can be extinguished..." Then the water started to glow and expand. A rushing column of water now was shooting up a dozen feet into the air. "with enough water." Keres raised her arm and started to direct the water, spinning it slowly, slowly, then faster. "And water is my strength!" She then flung her hand forward and the water rushed through the air and struck the elemental's chest. The creature let out a shriek as the water pushed it backwards and away from Damien. Keres stepped forward to drive the water even more and the elemental couldn't so much as flail as the crushing pressure continued. Then Keres let out a gasp and pulled the water, which seemed to be much depleted, back towards herself. The elemental still stood. However the flames in the front of its body were extinguished. The flames on its back, however, were still going strong. And even as they watched they slowly started to creep forward, reigniting the creature's body. They could see now that the creature's skull seemed to not be connected to the rest of its body. And that it had no legs to speak of. Merely a spine that dragged along the ground. Despite looking much less impressive without the majority of its flames it still was clearly powerful. And, as it lunged towards Keres, she knew that those skeletal hands still contained much strength. OOC
  9. Something was wrong. The universe was colliding in on Naomi as she lay there in a state of dreaminess. She should be floating in the sea with nothing but a giant Spheal under her to keep her from drowning. Yet now there was a Krabby clacking its pincers together loudly by her ear. A noise that Naomi, try as she might, couldn't ignore. She opened her eyes. There was a strange girl there. "Ello, strange girl." Naomi mumbled. "Where did the Krabby go? T'was makinoise. Lotta noise. Noise..." She started to nod off again before jerking upright. Jerking so suddenly and fast that she collapsed off of the couch and almost bowled the girl over in the process. "Mm. Floor." Naomi looked up, blinking with half-asleep eyes, and muttered. "I like the couch more." She raised her hand up as if expecting the girl to help her up. And she'd keep her hand up even if the girl did nothing. "Whatcha doin ere? You wanna sleep too?" Princess seemed to settle as she saw her trainer up and about. Or rather her equivalent of up and about. Knight, however, grew more restless. He zoomed in over her and began to bounce around mid-air. "Pip, piiiip!" He shouted eagerly, gesturing towards Belle's Pokeballs.

  17. You have to remember that member groups are meant to be the "biggest reward" and not just a thing everyone can have. Plus once more events and tournaments start up again it'll be easier. As to the second, uh, I'll have to let Black answer that I'm unsure.
