  1. ...I don't want to talk about it
  2. ....yeah, least it wasn't a zero though.
  3. https://buddymeter.com/quiz.html?q=oInwlzt Yeah, figured I'd do it too...good luck!
  4. Better than I thought I'd do...
  5. While Randy was still in thought, he noticed that Marie had found another familiar face: Morgan from Northshore. He was pretty surprised that she was around here, but at the same time, also felt like her life was put at risk here now as well. A sigh escaped his lips as the Incineroar shook his head. ...gotta look after her too, I'm sure. he thought, before turning to do some more walking around...when he noticed another gijinka. One he saw in Northshore as well. "...son of a..." he muttered, seeing the all too familiar form and appearance of a Poliwrath who was jogging in place. Apparently he was trying to get others to join him in a work out, much to no avail. Regardless, Randy made his way over towards the Poliwrath, smirking. "Having trouble getting anyone to join ya, I take it?" "No one here has the guts!" "Heh, harsh words there...but probably not wrong." Randy chuckled, flashing another smirk as he too began to jog in place with the Poliwrath. "See?" He said loudly towards those around him. "Learn from this man!" Randy felt really good about hearing this, not used to being praised like this...especially here in this region. "Well, can't say I half blame them. They didn't go through that bit of rigorous training you had me go through at Northshore." the Incineroar laughed, shaking his head. "Need to have you put them through that before they can even attempt this." "Need to start sometime. Why not now? May not get another chance if we lose. Though that's a big if!" He then dropped down and started doing one handed pushups. Randy noticed the Poliwrath dropping to a one handed pushup, to which he did the same thing. "Heh, honestly I doubt we'd be losing at all. Still, ya got a point regardless. Best start now...especially now!" "You got any friends you can get in on this? We could start a health revolution right here!" Randy motioned with his head over in the direction of the Alola gang, chuckling. "Over there. Though I'm fairly certain they're perfectly fine leaving this stuff to me. Especially the Raichu...kinda prefers the laid back approach." The Poliwrath started alternating which arm he's using. "No! That's quitter talk! You must show them the joy of a good work out!" "Yeah you'd think they'd understand that with the regimen you suggested to me while I was at Northshore!" Randy chuckled, swapping arms. "100 push-ups in the morning, the afternoon and the evening. And an extra 200 before bed!" "HaHA and that's only stage one!" "There's a second stage? And you didn't mention it?" Randy raised an eyebrow only to laugh. "You've been holding out on me? I feel insulted! Haha!" "Can't give ALL my secrets. How do you think I got these muscles?" He then flexed. Randy could only laugh a bit more. "Ya know what...that's a fair point. And honestly, at this point I figure I'll get there eventually...so go ahead and keep those secrets. No fun in just being handed all that!" Yeah...definitely swear that him and Charlie are somehow related...heh, wouldn't put it past Arceus if that was the case.
  6. Yeesh...what kind of question be this sorcery? Anyway...guess it would be (1 is top and 5 is no bueno): Sweet Salty Savory Sour Bitter Salty and sweet usually goes hand in hand with me, so yeah that's why they're at the top there.
  7. -April 15th, 2000- -6:50 AM- -New York City, New York- A night without sleep passed, though he figured it was due to the jet lag he was still suffering. Truth be told, Austin despised flying, but at the same time it was either fly to New York or have them make a cross country drive from California to New York. He figured it'd be better if it was just a quick fly from there to here rather than being trapped in a car for HOURS with some suits from this "Diluculo" group. Upside...least they gave me a pretty sweet pad to crash in. Austin thought, finishing up a bit on the last leg of his jogging routine in the gym area with his headphones on. The Diluculo group basically gave them basic training and the like for a month, so needless to say, Austin definitely was in fit standards. But at the same time, he felt like a general jog routine would definitely clear his head...which was always what he was going for. ...and today's the day where I meet the others, least the one chick said. he slowed down, finally finishing as he took his headphones off with a slight smirk appearing on his face. "Heheh...today they'll learn that I'm better than them in every single way. No ifs, ands or buts..." -April 15th, 2000- -8:15 AM- -Dining Hall, Diluculo Branch 22- “Gooood morning!” This one woman was way too chipper this morning. Austin was aware of just individuals being just morning people, but this was waaaaaay too much, even for him. He looked up from his breakfast, giving the woman a bit of being not amused at all this, but only kept eating everything...just slowly tossing his hood over his head. It was a good defense mechanism sometimes...though he figured it wouldn't be this time at least. “Come now, come now, let’s all share a table! After all, it’s easier to do roll call that way, hm? I am Captain Mathilde Macha, born in Seattle, Washington, here in the USA. My Id, Scope Sight, means that I can see far away things very, very well. The Major will be joining us shortly, but since you all arrived early, we can use this as a chance to learn about each other!” Austin finally finished a good portion of his food, letting out an audible sigh as he got up and made his way to the center table. Using his foot, he pulled out a chair and immediately turning it around as he sat in the now backwards chair. His head resting on his arms, he surveyed the room and looked over at the supposed "captain". He wouldn't lie, she looked fine...exceptionally fine. Then again, he did always have a bit of a weakness for blonde chicks. A small smirk appeared on his face as he looked over at her. "Also, I have a degree in anthropology. People are fascinating to me, so I had planned to become an anthropologist before being offered a job with Diluculo." Oh, someone else was talking... Austin's thoughts returned to him, not really paying attention to what the one guy was saying. He shrugged slightly and figured now was the time for them to learn. "Sup losers." he said behind a very obvious smirk. "Austin Rankin from Venice, Los Angeles, California. And let's just say, I'm better in every way than you lot! Not stating an estimate, just a cold hard fact. My Id is called Idposter, and basically...I mimic any one Id I want and I basically just do it better than you." Of course, Austin kept the fact that the power of his Id would make it to where they'd only be at half power, but they didn't need to know that. After all, it wasn't their Id...they didn't need to know that.
  8. "Hmmm, talk of the town and even just kicking back until a couple are left? Heh, given your style, i wouldn't have been surprised if you brought that up." >Chuckles and shrugs "Eh, why the hell not! We'll be on the look out, but if anything...they can find us. No sense trying to hunt someone down at this point."
  9. "Keep your eyes open, Neo Domino! Blazin' Roxy will conquer this city!" It was definitely an interesting Duel to say the least, but at the same time, it went south the moment Roxy ended up getting on the political side of things with the Satisfaction comment. Always someone making those types of comments and the like, rather than just showing off for the masses and giving the people what they want in the realm of a good Duel. Regardless, Itsuki Amano stood there watching the end of the Duel, seeing that she would end up joining in with the Fortune Cup, along with everyone else here in this room. Things definitely would be heating up if that was the case...pun definitely intended there. Honestly, all this needs to hurry up...cause I'm itching to show what I can do again. Itsuki thought, smirking lightly before the young man moved and went back to sitting down. His match in the qualifying round was pretty good, but it wasn't anything too special. What he was hoping was something with a bit more...flare to it. And given each and every qualifying match he saw before and after his, there were plenty of Duelists here that could give him a proper challenge. He moved slightly, reaching his hand into his vest pocket to pull out a copy of Jurrac Meteor out. A smile appeared on his face as he stared at the card. Just watch mom...I'm going to win the Fortune Cup. I'm gonna become a Pro Duelist...just watch! he thought, exhaling slowly as he finally put the card in his pocket again. "But today there is a special announcement I must make. See, one of the competitors has retreated from the race, and their place has been reassigned. The lady who has just graced her with her presence is madame Lydia Maupin, representative of the dueling circuit of Paris." Itsuki heard the announcement, seeing the newcomer enter the room. It was weird, seeing that a competitor retreated from the race...like who would end up leaving their chance to play in the Fortune Cup? As weird as that way, it was also weird to see that they instantly filled in the vacant spot with another Duelist. But aside from that, Itsuki did have to admit, this girl did look pretty cute.
  10. BGM Jet immediately followed after Kyouji, gunning it the moment Zirco said "GO!" and the two were off towards the higher levels of Turbo. Once more, Jet was in a location he knew. Either from photos or the countless drives around the city via KaibaCorp's Turbo Branch, he was still in his element. He pushed the throttle more, hoping to pass Kyouji, just to see what would happen. Unfortunately for him, any attempt to pass the Duel King was met with one thing: Kyouji just slowly speeding up to keep the pace. Naturally, Jet pushed on the throttle a bit more in order to keep the pace up with him. Kyouji grinned widely as he suddenly took a sharp left, going off to a different road, speeding up and trying to put distance between them. S-Son of a-a...d-damn... Jet thought, watching Kyouji taking the left. However, he stayed the course and immediately doubled back to follow the Duel King, now slamming the throttle down to make up the distance. "N-Nice m-manuever..." he said, hoping he'd hear him in the comms. "All part of being the king." was the response. "You'll have to pull some of your own if you wanna win this thing." Jet took this and nodded, definitely taking it to heart. It was clear Kyouji knew Turbo City as well, maybe even better, but he knew that this was one of those moments that he had to show he was better. After all...this was a mission, and right now...he was a soldier following orders...just like it always was. ...e-except...instead o-o-of the d-d-doctor...i-it was Z-Zirco this t-t-t-time... With a firm grip on the D-Wheel's handlebars, Jet began to immediately hit the brakes in order to be right behind Kyouji's D-Wheel...almost tailgating him. But the slipstream from the King's D-Wheel was there...and it was dragging him along. Exhaling slowly, he waited for the right moment, before immediately slamming the throttle down and began to slingshot around Kyouji. "Ooooh ho, the old slingshot maneuver, huh?" Kyouji called out. "Not bad kid, not bad at all!" he said as he watched Jet pull ahead. Jet simply laid on the throttle and the gas, doing his best to keep distance between him and Kyouji. "C-Coming f-from someone...a-as y-y-yourself...I-I'm honored y-you approve..." he replied, rounding the next corner, now in the lead. "It's not bad, but not good enough!" He said, a wild grin on his face as instead of preparing to turn, the man sped up more, barreling straight ahead. Popping his bike up into a wheelie, he leapt off the road, soaring through the air, the ground hundreds of feet below him. After a few heart pounding seconds, his D-Wheel landed on a different road, speeding away and out of sight. Jet skidded to a halt, seeing Kyouji pop the wheelie and land on a different road. He was stunned that he was either that confident or incredibly stupid at just jumping off the road like that to land on another one below. With a slight groan, Jet peeled out and began to follow him. Fortunately, he could get to the road that the Duel King landed on...just minus the life threatening aspect of getting there. Once on that road, he floored it and did what he could to make up the distance between him and Kyouji.
  11. After a few moments, and his joke seeming to go under everyone's radar there, the little rock, paper, scissors match ended, resulting in basically Keika and Juryo getting to room up together...which was what his plan and intention was all along. There was a moment on whether any of that was even remotely necessary, but he figured it was for the best that he keep his thoughts about all that to himself. "Why'd you go and copy my strat like that, eh?!" Keika looked at Juryo, rubbing his arm a bit and rolling his eyes. "Please, the rock strat is definitely something I always do. People are idiots if they don't expect anyone else not to pick rock two times in a row." With all that said, Arai walked back in...this time with a man named Zwart Bakker, the school's benefactor, who basically said he helped put this school together because he was in their shoes once. At the same time, however, Keika found this hard to believe. How would this guy even be remotely in the same predicament he was in? Being ridiculed by his Quirkless parents for his dangerous Quirk and how he was constantly put down because it was his fault things were happening. Hell! Did he even have his Quirk go off on accident and make it to where he lost his parents? Keika, once again, doubted this fact. He shook off the thought, however, once the man left and Arai began to start the history portion of the class...which really didn't excite him too much. History was history, it was in the past...end of discussion. However, what was said at the end of class made him actually intrigued. "Tomorrow we'll talk more in depth about the Starkiller City incident." That was a subject he honestly didn't mind. Everyone knew about the Starkiller City incident, whether they were born in that time frame, were alive when it happened or just did research on it. It was a hell of a day for U.A., it's faculty and even the students that were present. Hell, that really sparked up the divide between the Quirked and the Quirkless. Truth be told, Keika wasn't sure why it intrigued him so much, but he figured it was due to all those heroes being present and even the students who did what they could to help. ...that could be me...maybe... Keika thought, exhaling as he grabbed his stuff. ...who the hell am I kidding? Slinging his bag over his shoulder, he turned his head to look at Juryo, figuring he'd wait for the guy. After all, he was his roommate...
  12. Souji reached the area the three D-HEROs separated, immediately moving towards the direction Disk Commander went. Soon he'd find his target, Disk Commander seeming to corner a few random students, definitely terrorizing them with his disks. He began to move towards the monster, beginning to take out his Duel Disk, slipping it on his wrist and having the white and purple energy blade spring to life. If these monsters are popping out here and it's being treated as Duel Space...then this should work no problem. he thought, immediately inserting the deck into the Duel Disk, before taking out one card. "Showtime...Phantom Magician, help me out here!" As Disk Commander prepared to attack the students, his advances were halted quickly by the emergence of Phantom Magician, it's scepter clashing against Disk Commander's disk blades, eventually pushing him back away from the students...simply raising one of it's bony fingers, shaking it side to side. "HEY! Unless you all want to be attacked again by this thing, I'd suggest you get the hell out of dodge!" Souji shouted, moving behind Phantom Magician, pointing with his thumb to tell the students to more or less just get away from here. Once they left, he simply turned around, adjusting his tie and hat as he looked at Disk Commander who simply stood there seeming quite upset. "Sorry buddy, but this hero isn't putting up with someone like you trying to pass out their shitty mixtapes!" Disk Commander seemed to be furious at this comment and rushed towards the young man and Phantom Magician, raising it's arms to prepare to slash at them with it's disk blades "Hmph, dunno when your just done, huh?" Souji asked, slowly lowering his hat over his eyes as he turned his back on the two monsters. "Phantom Magician, take him out. Phantom Force!" Phantom Magician only let out a ghostly grunt, twirling it's scepter around it's hand before launching a heavy attack straight at the D-HERO, it exploding into what could only be described as a heroic fanfare that resulted in the monster disappearing from the area, with Phantom Magician vanishing along with it. Souji almost cursed at this moment and opportunity for one hell of an image being wasted right there, but he figured he could always replicate that another time in an actual Duel. Nevertheless, Souji's guess about the Duel Space thing worked out...and now, that meant only Dreamer remained.
  13. "Guess I'm in trouble. Right, er...class...class... Ah yes that's right. I wanted to get a handle on what level you are all at. So I'll be handing out a basic test of the types of studies you'll be expected to know. You'll have until the end of class to finish it up and bring them to me." After what Chase could only describe as a strange manner of their teacher bringing a dog with him, it was time for him to show off what he could. Unfortunately it wasn't what he could do behind a mech's controls, but rather just a simple test that was basically just an assessment. It made sense to him, after all, how else would any instructor be able to grasp what areas that their students needed assistance in and what areas they excelled in. This shouldn't be too hard...let's check the damage. Chase thought, taking a gander at the several part test. Math...science...language...modern studies... He looked through all the questions and took note on what he could get done with first. Luckily for him, he was pretty good at math...he had to be with the type of work he was doing with learning about designing mechs. With a twirl of his pencil, Chase began to work on the math section of the test. Some probably might've had some problems, but that's because they probably didn't think in the same vein that he did. All he did was attempt to word each question and apply it to both mech designs and even...well in the case of one question regarding finding the area, he used the method of translating it to him using Aegis Weiss' plasma rifle to hit an enemy mech that was a certain distance away. Once math was out the way, he went down the line: next was modern studies. For an inspiring mechanic and mech designer, Chase spent a lot of time to check in on current events. His thought basically was to stay ahead of the curve with information, which pretty much served him well. Especially with some of the questions regarding current events. And I just read about that one pilot making that Kessel run in 12 seconds...still unbelievable. Either that's a hell of a pilot or one amazing vessel. Chase mused, writing his answers down for a good portion of the modern studies questions. Within a few moments, Chase finished the modern studies and did his best to finish the last two parts. It was a grueling few minutes which felt like an eternity, but the orange-haired young man finished his test. He was positive in what areas he was strong in and did his best in those he wasn't, but at the end of the day, he successfully finished this. With a quick twirl of his pencil, Chase placed it down and then turned in the test with a smile.
  14. Unsure if you happen to be familiar with me (since I noticed you were from the days of YCM, given the introduction) but I'm generally typecasted as a Shonen Protagonist, so naturally in terms of things, I liked Naruto (namely him in Shippuden when he got way cooler and the power ups) and the Fourth Hokage. Aside from him, from day one I actually enjoyed Shikamaru. The whole Shadow Possession Jutsu and his intellect was actually something that I thought was pretty amazing. Plus, with him immediately being promoted to Chuunin was amazing to me as well. Plus he gets way cooler down the line, but as you said: No spoilers.
  15. The better question is who hasn't? Trick question, a lot. But in general, yes, I watched Naruto back during it's popularity. Though after watching a few episodes, I ended up going to the manga and read all the way to Shippuden. Imagine my surprise when I noticed all the filler arcs that popped in. It was definitely a good idea to read it rather than watch...cause the filler arcs were just, meh to me. And before you ask: no I haven't watched or read Boruto. I sorta refuse with that. Naruto the Last Movie/the final episodes of Shippuden was pretty much the end of that whole series for me, no reason to continue onward.
  16. "That's correct! Of course, there's such a thing as having too much trepidation when to use your effects... Or even being too greedy with the timing. But, let's say I activate Polymerization. You know that Tiger can destroy your board, so unless you have a way to stop it, you probably don't want it to resolve. Which is fair. But it's also likely that I could have another copy, so is Polymerization the best hit? 'If they have it, they have it' is a phrase that you seem to take too much to heart..." David listened intently to Charlie's explanation on the question he proposed to them. It seemed almost, crazy enough for him. For the longest period of time he had played in the manner he had been up till this point. Did he lose some Duels, of course, but it was these Duels against the Captains that truly made him wonder if Charlie actually was right. "But how about this time...you see what happens if you wait until... let's say even a single opportunity later?" The young man began to rub his chin slightly, trying to play this whole thing through in his mind. Wait an opportunity later? ...that could possibly work. After all, Redoer's one skill allows it to immediately take from the deck each Standby Phase, so that there isn't technically an issue. ...then at this point, perhaps waiting until they Fusion Summon a monster might be the better idea. David slowly nodded, shifting slightly as he drew himself a new hand. Originally he was just trying to prevent Charlie from preforming a Fusion Summon, but in this case, the way they explained it...perhaps if he waited for a moment later, like after they fused...perhaps that might bring forth a bit more of an opportunity to win. "Very well then. If you believe I should wait a single opportunity later...then I shall." David nodded slowly, starting off first with a small play of placing Abyss Actor - Curtain Riser in the Pendulum Zone and then summoning Goblindberg, shifting it to Defense and then summoning up Time Thief Winder, before grabbing a card from his deck: Time Thief Hack. He placed the card on the field and then looked at Charlie, before placing a card face down. "...now, seeing as I prepared the stage this time for my comeback...I'll concede the end of my turn. Hopefully I'll be able to show you differently this time."
  17. The last few days before the group arrived at Adarid City were quite a bit of a change of pace for Randy. After the complete trashing he got after he walked into that Lucario bout and almost got himself killed, the Incineroar seemed to be contemplating quite a bit. He found himself actually taking time to do what Charlie had mentioned he started working on doing from day one: actually meditating. It was something that definitely helped his overall issues, especially after almost dying like that. After everything that’s happened, he had to get a grip on things at this point...even that Lucario scared him and that was saying something. Between the meditating and the constant daily training he worked on doing, the Incineroar even managed to learn Close Combat. Randy trained and worked, doing his absolute best to master the move and at this point, he had it down. Randy Roarton wants to learn Close Combat! However...Randy already has 6 moves! Get rid of a move for Close Combat? >Yes< | No 1...2...3...POOF! Randy forgot Brick Break ...and! Randy learned Close Combat! If I get another shot against that Lucario...maybe this’ll help turn the tides. Randy thought, quite pleased at learning this move. Eventually, Randy and the rest of the team made it to Adarid City...finally...until… "We are Dialga and Palkia, Lords of Time and Space, and we have an urgent message. Mioter has fallen. Minutes ago those you know as Godslayers waged an all out attack on the city from the island below. The leaders of the city was forced to use their great Psychic power to teleport it away and have since crash landed in the water. As we send this message our fellow Legendaries are racing to the island to do battle with the Godslayers. This is a call to arms to all those who can fight. We cannot send you there directly but we can bring you to one who can. Answer our call and you will be moved across the land to a vessel that can reach the island. There is no shame in refusing. Just know this is to be the final fight for Adarid's future. If you are ready, brace yourselves." This was heard within Randy's head, most likely the same thing that was said to the other's in the group too. Though he never once saw Dialga or Palkia, they were Legends nevertheless. And as a result, some pretty important Gijinka. He looked at Marie, Keanu and Nani, only shaking his head slightly. The Incineroar figured that they'd know what he'd say at this point. Hell! After the Lucario fight, it seemed like everyone's answers and willingness to fight had changed...so of course, Randy responded to this message the only way he knew how... ...I'm in! Suddenly, he found himself in darkness and being in a feeling that he was sliding across the ground at a quick pace. As fast as he could blink, Randy found himself on a ship...a flying ship. Now he'd seen everything! He wasn't alone, though, as it looked like plenty of other Gijinka were here and around, most likely also hearing the warning given from the Time and Space Legendaries. And at the front of it all, a trio of a Drapion, Pidgeot and Medicham who seemed to be helming the ship. However, while those three had basically explained the gist of everything, Randy noticed three familiar faces roaming around the ship as well: the native Mowlooian Noctowl, Eve, Allie's father, and of course, the Flygon from Trailsau, Trevor. A small smile appeared on his face, seeing these familiar faces appearing here. After everything was said and done, Randy made his way from his little group towards them...starting with the Tyranitar. "Hey!" Randy moved up towards the Tyranitar, giving a two finger salute at the Gijinka, smirking. "Didn't expect to see you around here. Seem to be looking good." He grunted. "I don't really understand what's happening but I couldn't just stay behind." "Well, if anything you'll definitely be putting in a lot of work, if you handing me my tail is proof of anything." Randy chuckled, extending a hand out. "By the way...we did complete that request you asked. Your girls are alright." He let out a sigh. "Well, thanks for that. Means I don't have to worry while I'm out there. Though I would've felt better if I didn't see that boy here." he grumbled and off in the distance Trevor sneezed. "Yeah, I dunno why they brought him into this too..." the Incineroar shrugged, glancing over at the familiar Flygon. "Speaking of, I should probably check on him too. I'll get back to talkin' with you a bit later, sir." With that, Randy nodded at the Tyranitar, making his way towards Trevor, while the Tyranitar shrugged and turned away, moving along himself. Randy approached Trevor, waving slightly. "Hey Trevor...you got dragged into this too, huh?" The young man jumped as Randy approached. "Ah, er...guess so. It's important, right?" "Given the summons like this, definitely." he nodded, before clearing his throat slightly, moving a bit closer to Trevor. "Also, are the girls safe? And I do mean...all the girls." Trevor seemed to be uncomfortable with the question, clearly understanding. "Yes...I assume. She, uh, left, pretty quickly." Randy's face met his open palm, shaking his head slightly with a deep groan. "...shit...that's a big problem. Cause if she's gone...and if what they mentioned about the 'Godslayers' is true...then...damn that's gonna be a whole ordeal." He looked away and mumbled "can deal with that..." "Hopefully. Then again, if it calls for it, the three of us can definitely knock some sense into her." Randy nodded, determination in his eyes as he flashed a thumbs up. He winced. "Yeah...suppose that would be for the best now." under his breath he added "really didn't think this through, didn't want to have to fight again." Randy smiled, putting his hand on Trevor's head, ruffling the hair on it. "Hey, just relax. Everything is going to be alright, ya hear?" he said, before glancing and noticing a familiar Noctowl, Eve. "Alright, got another person to say hi to." With that, Randy moved off towards the Noctowl. As he approaches he'd notice that she's looking around, eyes wide, at everything in sight. "Hey there...everything okay?" Randy asked. "What is...this thing?" The Incineroar immediately understood what was going on, as he chuckled lightly. "Ahhh, first time on a boat. Well, it's a vessel that sails along the water." "It is much bigger than any raft I've seen." She said. Then she moved towards the edge. "And not on water." "Yeah, that's a first for me too...don't see many flying ships to be honest." Randy shrugged. "Don't worry. If anything, Marie can definitely help ya out with keeping calm." "The small one is here too? Here?" She seemed quite surprised by this. "Yeah, the whole crew is here." Randy nodded, chuckling. She looked out towards the water again and, softly continued. "It's very dangerous, for someone so small." This made Randy chuckle a bit more. "Yeah, but you forget...Marie, out of the group, is pretty tough." he said, before thinking. ...and that's saying something, especially with me being concerned. "Maybe. Will have to work hard. So she doesn't need to." "She'll do it anyway though, she's...pretty fiery for a water type." Randy chuckled. "Wouldn't tell her no...but either way...I would say keep an eye on her though. I...I honestly don't want her hurt in this...not after what happened a few days ago." Randy's face became solemn as he cleared his throat, preparing to walk off. "It's great to see you again though..." "I am glad my eyes have seen you are full of health." She responded, after some thought. The Incineroar's mind went back to the way Marie looked after the fight with that Lucario and how she basically was the one who initiated the fight. And how she practically was the reason he went off into a rage like that. Although he didn't want to admit it, Randy felt like this was a major weakness. It was the kids that the Incineroars loved to hear and see cheering for them, so if they ended up in the crossfire...something like that would definitely be enough to put any of them over the edge...and he was no exception. He let out a heavy sigh, praying to both Solgaleo and the Guardians of Alola that nothing like that would happen again. ...things aren't going to be like last time. We've gotten stronger...and out of all this, I've gotten a bit smarter too. I'm not going to let that happen to Marie or any of them again. Not while there's breath in my lungs and a fire burning within me!
  18. Actually...[Only open if caught up]
  19. "[Yo.] Juryo, right? And you're Keika. You guys did some pretty cool stuff with your Quirks up there. [Very nice.]" Eh? Keika turned slightly to see the one guy, Akuma, addressing both him and Juryo. He stared at him, planning to say something else, but was instead stopped by another voice entering the fray: Midome. "So, assuming that we're the only four left, how do we split?" Ehhhhhhhhhh? This was starting to get out of hand for Keika. "Geez. Who cares. Idon't even remember your guys' names. I say we play a little rock, paper, scissors. Losers room with losers. Winners room with Winners. That's how this hero industry works, right? Get a little lucky, and you room with the best. That is...unless you all got a better idea or somethin'." Keika looked at Juryo, after he offered to have them play rock, paper, scissors to determine who would room with whom. This forced a frown to appear on the young man's face, to which he decided to be quite the card. "I'm fine with that...rock...paper...scissors." he muttered, shaking his fist in the middle to which he immediately began to flip the other three off. Keika gave a slight grin, before shaking his head. "...oops, sorry about that. Guess my hand has a mind of it's own."
  20. In hot pursuit of D-HERO Dark Angel, Souji was doing his best at keeping the pace that the Level 1 monster was setting. This was definitely the type of workout regimen he was looking for, especially with him needing to parkour over certain obstacles. This was just what someone that had aspirations of being an Entertainment Duelist needed: a type of issue to where he could both show off and show out, while also getting a pretty good cardio workout in the process. "Haven't lost me yet, Dark Angel! Better just give up while you still can!" Souji shouted to the monster, who simply laughed. "Ohohohoh! Such bravado! Albeit, quite missed placed. Nevertheless, see if you can stop me if you c-..." While Dark Angel gloated, he stared at Souji behind him, only to not pay attention to where he was going. It cost him dearly, as the monster hit the side of a brick wall and was sent sliding down it before just falling over. Souji slowed down and stopped at seeing the monster before him, as he shook his head and lowered his hat over his eyes. "...ya hate to see it. Maybe less gloating and more focusing on where the hell your going." he sighed, turning around with a shrug. "Shame too. Was planning on bringing out some of my own monsters to help me out. Oh well. One down, two more to go." As he began to make it back towards where Disk Commander and Dreamer separated, Souji felt his phone go off, seeing a few messages almost immediately. I think I just heard a bunch of explosions. Is everybody alright? I'm fine. Melissa and Kyouko? Well it seemed like they were doing alright so far as well, which was definitely a good thing. Never better, myself. Dealt with one monster on my end, Destiny HERO Dark Angel. Unfortunately, he had some others with him and they all split off. I got two more on my agenda to take care of. Souji sent the message off, not wanting to say that Dark Angel literally took himself out...cause that wouldn't be very heroic of him, now would it? With that sent, Souji hightailed it back to go after his next target: D-HERO Disk Commander.
  21. Keika sat there, getting a good demonstration of the other student's Quirks. A good portion of them, he honestly wondered how in the world they'd be classified as just outright dangerous, with the exception of a few. These other Quirks just seemed like the run of the mill, cool heroic stuff...the kind he honestly was envious of. He bit his lip slightly as he watched the last student, the one with the teddy bear, sit down. "You're all simply pathetic! I've seen better quirk displays at a kindergarten! Seriously, you all lacked the ferocity of a true hero! The only one who was even worth an Iota of my attention was miss Kohaku! And even then, that was pathetic! If this were the real deal, and I were a villain, none of you would have stood a chance!" ...well first off, if you had us in some other location than a damn classroom, we probably could do something major. Keika thought, rolling his eyes slightly. Secondly...if you think you could do better, then by all means, do it. And bullshit the goat girl was the only one...said otherwise when I struck at you. That really pissed him off, but he wasn't sure why. Was he just upset at Arai for thinking he wasn't good enough with his Quirk or was it more or less just him hating the fact that he was getting lectured again. Cause if it was the former, why would he care? He hated his Quirk with a passion, so why did he care? "I'm sorry...I didn't truly mean that. All of your quirks are wonderful, and you did great against me. Now before we go on break, let me explain some things. If you haven't been told already, from this day forward you will be living in the campus dorms. In those dorms, you will be closely monitored, twenty-four seven. There are cameras in every nook and cranny on school grounds. This ensures that you are behaving within the rules and regulations that the Hero Administration has placed here." ...Bipolar, much? he thought, watching the teacher head out of the room after telling them that they would have to find themselves a roommate. Oh what joy, a roommate! Needless to say, Keika was none too plused about this whole thing. At the same time, who honestly would be a good match for him to bunk with? Bounce Boy? Fat chance...I'd rather freeze my ass off in the tundra! Keika thought, throwing his hands behind his head, closing his eyes as he went through the list. Plant Boy with the teddy bear? Hard pass, seems like he has a thing for plants...and with me being the way I am, that might jeopardize his things. Slime Guy...just no. Major pass on Hentai Tentacles over there, just a huge fat no. That only left one option up in the air. Opening his eyes, Keika slowly turned his head in the direction of Juryo, Weight Boy...or Libra, he wasn't sure what little nickname to give the guy. With a shrug and a sigh, Keika got up and made his way towards Juryo. Once near the desk, he cleared his throat a bit. "Yo, Juryo was it? Care to be roommates? Honestly, none of the other guys seem like the kind I want to hang with."
