  1. "Take a seat and watch them if you want." Anneliese looked at the girl in confusion. "I do not condone stealing but even if I did." She looked around. "I see no seating. Was there supposed to be? This is a rather unorthodox venue..." Her thoughts were cut off as she was suddenly covered in smoke. Which had come from the Cyndaquil. She coughed as the stray smoke entered her mouth. "G-goodness. H-how...t-terrible." She gasped, scrambling to her feet and covering her face as she ran off farther away from the fight. Past the other two who had come to watch at a much safer distance. She didn't realize until she had passed them that her Shinx hadn't come with them. And in fact Leopold had gone in the opposite direction. Staring at the Cyndaquil's trainer the small Pokemon ran towards him and bit the boy's pant leg. Tugging at it and growling he looked up at him with what might pass for righteous fury for the small Pokemon. Anneliese gasped as she saw this but as she started towards the boy her eyes were drawn by the battle again and she hesitated. Not wanting to get in the middle of it again. "Oh, what should I do, Leopold come back here!" She called out.
  2. Keres was startled when she saw Reinaan jump onto the wagon. She had thought it was clear what she had intended. The gnolls were all gathered in the wagon, the flammable wagon, but it seemed the message didn't get through. Or, was it that the Draken didn't want to take what may have seemed an order from her? It would make sense. Who was she to tell them what to do anyway? Either way the warrior had managed to clear the wagon out regardless so all was well. Except she saw that Pyrrha had gone down. Having taken several serious blows to their relatively fragile body. It...was quite bloody. "You... okay?" "Ah." Keres let out a soft sound that could almost be described as surprise as the blood covered Draken made his way towards her. She instinctively took a step a way and cast her gaze downward before remembering this wasn't the tower and she wasn't a student. "Yes. No injuries. Unlike you...do you need help?" She asked, before glancing over again at the fallen elf. "Wait..." She said, and started in the direction of the girl. Stopping once she saw the two foes nearby. Should she try and fight them off? But then she didn't know if she could help with Pyhrra's injuries...Her hesitation caused her to not act as the two last foes made their move. The leader of the gnolls barked out a laugh as he saw the little elf go down. He started in her direction, content with the knowledge that the worg would deal with the armored one. But someone appeared from nowhere to engage them. Snarling the leader took his gaze from the unconscious elf to the human girl. She was armored and, even worse, wielded a thick shield. They had mostly been attacking merchants up until now. Not soldiers. And now many of his pack had been killed off. But, he could still take advantage of the situation. They were wounded and one was down already. He started towards Ryia but paused. With a snarl he turned from her and began to run at Pyrrha's body. Though he kept an eye on the human girl as he did so. The worg let out a howl as he charged through the dark magic and went for Lindow. One of Lindow's knives cut across the beast's cheek. The other stuck in the corner of the worg's eye. It howled and began to shake its head to get the offending object out. Geoff came in from the side, slashing across the beast's shoulder, tearing a wound into it. The worg thrashed to the side, head hitting the "Chosen" in the stomach and pushing him away. It snarled as it looked between the two, blood running down its face. It took a few steps back, crouching, and growling. "Leave. Leave food. Will eat you instead if stay." It said, in a rough tone.

  4. "Actually, perhaps you should immediately tell Penelope and Catriona about this. As for me, I'll still be up here, looking for more information." Gunther almost agreed immediately, instinctively, as though it were a superior officer giving him an order. What a strange reaction. Sure, Adelaide was older, and likely more experienced, but she wasn't even part of the military. So why did she give off such a feeling? "Ah, perhaps. It doesn't seem there's any sort of danger up here after all. And I'm sure that they'll want to know about...this." He still held the diary and paper in his hand, looking at it with a sour expression. As he started to head to the stairs, however, Alois came up. "Well, well, super sleuths, find anything interesting? I've already found out that my town might be some kind of cult. Crazy day." Cult? It matched up with some of what he had read...did that mean that they already had this information? Gunther decided to wait before reporting to the princesses and joined Alois by the wardrobe. "Er, Alois, I found this...Does it line up with what you found out? It also, uh, contains something about, well, you." Gunther awkwardly presented the pages to the Fighter. Reading through it, Alois’s face went from solemn to then annoyed and he said, “well more or less. I found a manual about the Callers. And well,” the boy shrugged. “It’s nothing I didn’t know about him. More,” his annoyed expression then had a smirk cross it. “If anything I get to know he’s just as shitty as I thought he was.” Gunther hesitated, then, uneasily, says "It mentions your mother, um...did you want to...check on her?" Scratching his head the boy sighed, saying, “I’m uh...not eager to. Yet, at least. I didn’t exactly uh tell anyone I was leaving when I did and so...” Looking away and then back to him with a less annoyed smile he finished, “well, she’s my mom. So I’m sure even if she’s an animal she’ll be fine.” It didn't quite sit well with the Knight. Then again, he didn't exactly tell his own mother that he was going on this journey. The realization made a pit form in his stomach. Was she okay? Was she upset? After all his father had left just like that and... "Well. If you say so. But...you should probably talk to her before we leave again." He looked over at Adelaide. "It seems some of this information isn't new to the princesses, it may be better to see everything we can find from up here before reporting." Upon saying that Gunther, with one more glance at Alois, moved over towards the bed. On his way he paused. Something was bugging him about that rug. Not the pattern, though it was unusual seeing wyverns as opposed to more traditional creatures, but something....aha. The young man noticed a bump in the rug. Grabbing one corner of the rug he pulled it up and moved forward until the center was revealed and he could see what was causing the lump. As it turned out what was, not well, hidden under the rub was a simple key. He grunted as he stood back up, the weight of the armor getting to him after all this back and forth, and presented it to the others. "Think its for that chest over there?" It would be clear by Cora's dumbfounded expression she had no idea what Alois was talking about. What was going on? She hadn't the slightest idea what Alois meant by Caller but....from Acantha's reaction she seemed to know something. Why? What did she know that Cora didn't? It was good that Cora was sitting down because the wave of uncertainty that hit her might've made her fall nonetheless. Sure, there was some odd things that the adults did in this village that Cora didn't get but it was all to protect them right? But...Cora's job was to protect them too so why wouldn't she have heard about whatever it was? And that boy's remarks about Ordination only made her more uneasy. She wanted to check the papers but...part of her also didn't. Suddenly she stood up, setting the papers aside, and headed for the side door. She opened it up and walked out into the fresh air. For some reason, despite being larger than most she was used to, the mayor's house right then felt far too cramped. She gazed up at the sky. "What in the world aren't they telling me?" She muttered. “Hello, uh, excuse me, Miss Penelope,” Penelope paused for a moment. Her ever growing tower of books, which now was nearly taller than her seated form, would have to wait. The girl smiled with pride that this stranger already could tell how intelligent she was just from a few interactions. She knew she was smart, of course, but hearing it from those who didn't know her just made it all the more worthwhile. The question that she was posed was incredibly transparent. Apparently Citron had taken something of the mayors and now was regretting her decision. Penelope glanced over at Cora, who was now walking off in the other direction, then back to Citron. She stared silently for a few moments. Curious as to how Citron would react under the scrutiny. Cupping her chin in one hand she let out a long "hmmmm". Honestly she could easily just give advice towards Citron's specific predicament but she saw no reason to make her even less comfortable. So she tackled it from a broader perspective. "It depends. Did the owner see them take it? If not they could just keep it and none would be the wiser. Of course this brings the possibility that someone would discover the...item on their possession so it's not a recommended tactic. They could also simply put it back. It runs slight risk of suspicion but at that point they've already set it into motion. It also depends on how said item was discovered. If it was a lawful and moral entry then there's no problems. However if the item was somewhere somebody normally shouldn't go then the only way to learn what you need is to take it and find someone else, not related to the owner, that might know. Or just forget about it. Unless you have memorized the qualities of the item that you're curious about and in which case you can find it through simple research. That being said if someone DID spot you then the best you can do is return it and, if the accusations are brought up, plead a moment of forgetfulness and a brief lapse in judgement. As long as no damage is done to the item then it all comes down to the owner's attitude. Which you can improve by being polite and complimentary towards them.....Of course if the item was damaged then you would have to replace it and ask for forgiveness and hope for the mercy of the judge...Does that satisfy the hypothetical?" She wanted to finish searching the bookshelf. But she also was curious as to what Citron would do with her answer. Either way she would make sure to finish checking every book just in case before returning them to their place. Unfortunately even with her careful searching it seemed the bookshelf held no secrets. So once she was finished she'd stand up, dust off, and, unless stopped, go to search elsewhere. Once Citron was done she'd have time to look over those papers Alois had found. Things were starting to come together. A theory forming in her head. But she needed more...

  10. Alexis shook her head as she saw the zombie shamble off before she could attack it. It really seemed that these monsters wanted nothing to do with her. There was something about the way they attacked that bothered the girl...but whatever the case was the zombie seemed to have bitten off more than it could chew. The idea of these creatures falling to dark magic felt wrong to her. She half expected them to get back up even stronger because of it. But at the moment it seemed they were down for good. She moved into position in front of a nearby thicket and set her sights on the pack of hounds. They seemed to be watching her but hadn't moved from their spot. "Well, guess I gotta take it to them, don't I?" She declared. She knew she was diving into a lot of danger but on the other hand...who else could do it? If they took too long that thing would draw more monsters out of the woods to attack and eventually the hounds might attack. And with Leon and the Salamander boy out of this. "Man, really got my work cut out for me today." She said. Despite the grim circumstances she couldn't help but smile. After fighting bandit after bandit this was almost...refreshing. Making sure to keep to the right of the hound, in case she needed to retreat, Alexis thrust her lance towards the Hound. The attack wasn't quite on the mark, having to aim lower than usual, and stabbed across the creature's back. Cursing to herself she let out a sudden shout as the hound bit down onto her lance arm. Gritting her teeth the girl delivered a couple punches to the thing's eye before it relented. Bringing back her lance again, wincing at the pain in her arm, she thrust true this time. Piercing the monster's skull. Without hesitating she looked up from her kill and towards the hounds. If they moved now it wouldn't be long before they were upon her. She had to hope Tana could outrun them worse came to worse. Just as she hoped when she moved into position the zombies had decided to both attack her. She had managed to deliver a powerful blow to the zombie's body but, with how sunk in it was, she didn't want to waste time pulling it out lest the zombies take advantage of her hesitation. Taking out her second axe she focused in on the axe wielder, and struck it directly in the forehead with her blow, felling the monster. Turning to the side she adjusted her axe in her hand, ready to swing it at the sword wielder if it came for her again. She saw that the other flier was already ahead. And Ada was as well. She had to finish this off quick to catch up with them. She couldn't let those two risk themselves. She had seen how they handled the monsters so far and knew, though she hated to admit it, that they were the best chance. All she could do was try and take as many blows for them as she could. But to do that she had to be there. She hoped Leon was okay.
  11. Chad smirked as he saw Archie go down. He looked towards his Ducklett, surprised to see it standing on the ground instead of flying. He was about to give the Pokemon its next order when the duck Pokemon fell forward with its face smacking the ground, unconscious. "Well, did about as good as I could hope." Chad muttered as he returned the Pokemon. Looking at the bird Pokemon Oswald had sent out next Chad nodded to himself. "No use sending in Bellsprout against that. Guess it's all up to you for now." He then sent out his final Pokemon. Which turned out to be a male Nidoran. The Pokemon emerged looking much more confident and serious than the others that had been sent out. It watched Icarus warily with its nose twitching. "Focus Energy, Nidoran, and then go in with a Peck!" A brief aura flared up around the Nidoran and then it charged forward at Icarus, its horn glowing and narrowing to a sharper point as it jumped to ram into Icarus. "Is that it? Can't say I'm against that sort of reason, but..." "Well why not? Do ya gotta have more reason to do things? I thought that girls just wanted to have fun...wait, that was a different singer....Ahh, no more thinking, back to the fighting!" Machop and Ursula exchanged a flurry of blows. Or rather it would be a flurry if not for Machop's low health. As it stood, after the incredibly damaging Karate Chop, the Machop was only able to land one, weaker, attack on the Inkay before, swaying in place for a moment, toppling over. Kenta's hands flew to his head and he stared in shock. "I lost! Whoa, how'd that little thing do that to my Machop, what's with that? Ahh come on, Fuyumi is pulling ahead of me!" "I've been ahead." Fuyumi noted. "More ahead!" Kenta lamented. "Well, guess that's that, good work Machop. And good work, uh, miss." He added to Kanon.

  15. "I gotta admit, I wasn't expecting a girl like you to pick a quaint place like this to hang out in." "And what do you mean by 'a girl like you'?" Morgan asked, glowering at Ross over her third mug. She was starting to get a bit jittery now with all the caffeine she had been drinking. But at least that meant she was awake finally. Taking in a deep breath, Ross put one hand to her chest and the other dramatically to the side as she did her best Morgan impression. "This place isn't bad but back home I had thousands of servants waiting on me in my father's dining hall." With a small smile on her face, the girl's voice returned to normal saying, "something like that." Morgan huffed, but seemed unaware she was being mocked. "Well, yes, that's true, but I only have so many options. It's better than some dirty bar or, or, some...lemonade stand or something." Shrugging, Ross said, "I suppose that's true. I don't have the best track records with bars." The girl grimaced at the few times her team members had gone out drinking. Returning to normal she said, "and a lemonade stand's no place to hang out...but did you see one on the way here?" "Well...no." Morgan admitted, waving the girl off, "but I'm sure they're around. There's always stupid kids doing stupid things like that no matter where you go." Putting a finger to her chin Ross said, "I wonder...say, do you like cotton candy, Morgan?" "Wh-of course I do, what kind of silly question is that?" With a smile Ross said, "I'm surprised you know what that is. But, it goes great with lemonade right? So what if we found some of both after the match?" "I....that is....hmph, I guess if you're paying." Morgan responded after some thinking. Ross Vs Morgan: Spider Caves Dark and dank. This cave system had an unnatural light to it, likely part of the simulation as opposed to any natural lighting, to allow the fighters to see ahead of them. However there didn't seem much to see at first. They would find themselves in a twisting maze of tunnels with only the occasional wider room to break things up. The walls were slightly wet and glistening and the floor was dirty. It seemed that there wasn't much life down in these caves. Though the deeper the go the more likely they would run into something. The tunnels were narrow and all connected to various, larger, though with somewhat low ceilings, rooms that had several tunnels branching off from them. At the start of the fight, and at five minute intervals, they would get an indication, via a light that appeared with a distance marker, as to where their opponent was. Beyond that they seemed to be alone in this caves...for now. Xia Vs Cyan: Villain Gym At first glance the room would look like a regular gymnasium, though not all fighters would know what that meant, with too bright lighting and oddly dangerously slippery floors given the activities intended on it. However it was massive. Several hundred feet across at its largest and close to a hundred at its smallest. And then there were the cannons. These cannons were placed within the longest walls, on either side, every ten feet. And they would at regular intervals fire off flaming dodge-balls. A massive floor scrubber was making its way up and down the room as well. If any fighter dared get near the thing it would fire off small machine guns attached to its sides and attempt to run the fighter over for several minutes before returning to its duties. As the fight continues the fighters may find even more tricks but as it starts, with each fighter 50 feet away from opposite walls, this would be all they could see. Aurora vs Masaru: Hotel Beachfront Located near a massive hotel the fighters find themselves on a massive beach. Hot sand. Cool water. People wandering about but not really paying the fighters any mind. The battlefield extended into the water itself, but only 50 feet out before a barrier prevented farther exploration. While the sunbathers, and swimmers, can't harm the fighters they can easily get in the way of their movements and attacks. Even if they're struck by attacks they don't seem to react. Just going about their day as usual. After every few minutes the water level rises and waves cover the beach with water. Which would knock unsteady fighters off their feet and, if not prevented, would drag them off into the deeper area of the water. Adding onto that a rather strange phenomenon would occur after significant damage is done to either fighter... Gavin vs Data Fighter: Monster Island Gavin would find himself on a dark and dreary, and relatively small, island. No plant or animal life could be seen and the surrounding terrain was rocky and uneven. Prowling around said island were various Monsters. Skeletons armed with bows, swords, spears, and axes. Hellhounds with fierce fangs and bright red eyes. And large, undead, vultures circling the skies. These Monsters seem to reappear every once in a while and, when a fighter nears one, they will attack relentlessly, if haphazardly. In the center of the island, on a raised dias, a floating, cloaked, figure seemed to be the source of the monsters. If anyone got near it it would launch a dark magic attack at them and the monsters would focus on any fighter who tried to attack it. As Gavin appeared he would see across from him what seemed to be a virtual frame of a person. Said frame began to fill out as it took the form of a young girl. Holding a large steel kanabo off to the side. She looked around for a moment before her eyes settled on Gavin. They turned red and she let out a battlecry as the match began. A hound leapt at her and she swung her kanabo in an arc. When it connected with the canine there was a crunching noise as multiple bones shattered and the dog was launched dozens of feet through the air. A name appeared above the girl's head "Data Fighter: Kira" and she crouched. Then, with a grunt, she leapt high in the air, leaving the ground cracked behind her, and raised her kanabo above her head as she came down towards Gavin.
  16. Away from the crowd, and the high tensions, Kelsey had calmed down. By the time they got to the shop that Stella picked out the girl was all smiles again. She only realized what they were doing when they entered the store. The idea that they had gone out to get school supplies lowered her enthusiasm slightly. She watched as Stella geeked out about things like binders and folders and her smile grew wider and wider. Finally she dove towards the girl and wrapped her in a hug. Pressing her cheek to Stella's she said "Awww, aren't you the cutest nerd in the world." She teased before pulling back. "Only you could get so into something like this. You know I have no idea what I'm supposed to buy, right?" She waved her mechanical hand around at the shelves. "All this might as well be another language as far as I'm concerned. How bout I just pay for whatever you pick out, sounds good right?" "Doctor Patete?" "I'm Kansuke. I was assigned to pilot the HYD-Tyrannos. I was told to speak to you regarding--The implant procedure, as soon as possible." Florence stared blankly at the boy. "I'm not the doctor. If you're sick go find the school nurse or something. We probably have one of those. Maybe I can build one...Hm, it would need some scalpels for hands....but wait what about non-surgery illnesses..." She seemed to forget that Kansuke was there for a while and would need him to get her attention again. One he did she'd continue. "You're still here....hm, you look like someone I was supposed to do some implanting for." She sighed. "Such a hassle for so little return...fine, meet me at the nurse's office, I'll need her to stick things in you first." The nurse's office, as it turned out, was much like what you'd expect from a school nurse. Except larger, with more monitors than usual on the walls, as well as a large shelf stocked with various fluids. Some of which seemed to be neon. The nurse looked up from her desk as they came in. "Oh, no." She said, sighing. "I hoped that we'd break the record of one day before a major injury...oh, but you seem to be perfectly well." The nurse seemed uncomfortably surprised by the lack of disfigurement. "Unless it's a brain issue." "It is." Florence said. "His brain is broken. We need to fix it. Right?" Florence turned slightly towards Kansuke. "How unfortunate...." The nurse looked to Kansuke and spoke slowly. "I am Nurse Profen. Ivy Profen. Can you understand me?" As Chase made his way to his room he would notice something unfortunate for him. Several doors down he saw the horned girl, Weston's roommate, standing in front of a door. He would notice that Weston's name was on the side of the door. Which meant that his room was near the movie star. The girl was silently staring at the door, with one hand on the mechanism that would open it. With a sigh she pressed it and took several steps backwards. A bucket dropped from above the doorway. And with it some kind of sticky, honey-like, liquid which splashed onto the ground and created a puddle. Nodding to herself, seemingly resigned, the girl stepped over the puddle and returned shortly into the hallway with a hand-held cleaner and crouched to start cleaning the floor of the liquid. The bird watched as the two made their way across the vast expanse that was the field. Somehow despite that they had ran past it the same bird was still ahead of them. Even though it was still just digging at the ground. Almost as if to say "Yes, you're still here, what are you going to do about it?" Or perhaps the bird didn't intend anything by it. After all it was just a bird.

  20. Team Karaoke, Graveyard of Lost Souls "so, I hope you'll have fun conversing with a weakling like me." "Hm? No, I probably won't. But it WILL be fun when I rip your tongue out and make you choke on it." Raphael said, his smile growing wider as he swayed from side to side. His smile fell suddenly and his eyes flicked to the side. Kayla had decided to take her chance. Using her natural stealth she moved off to the side and climbed on top of one of the gravestones. From there she leaped into the air. She prepared one of her techniques, which would let her use the Banette's attack against against him. To her surprise instead of launching a Shadow Ball she saw shadowy claws extend on her hand. She realized, too late, the reason for this as Raphael sprang towards her and raked his own claws against her. Crying out Kayla was sent crashing to the ground. She only managed to dart away just in time to avoid a Shadow Ball follow-up. "No no no, none of that now, naughty girl." Raphael taunted. He then paused and turned, looking at Lok with narrowed eyes as the flames of his Will-O-Wisp washed over him. He growled as he felt the burn. Though, as they watched, they noticed something unusual. While usually burn drained one's health it didn't seem to be doing much to Raphael. Looking closer they would be able to notice what looked like ghostly wisps absorbing into his skin. His smile returned as he watched Lok. "Little boy. You should have stayed at home." Lok would then undergo the same pain that Nine had gone through. First, the Banette's curse burning through his body, his very soul, followed by receiving his share of the pain that Rapheal had suffered, and ending with the mental Torment that made it difficult to focus on his moves. "Squirm for me everyone! Let Giratina feel your agony!" Team Showdown, Temple of Time and Space The Omastar and Aerodactyl looked at each other and nodded as Taiga came towards them. The Flying type jumped up and perched on the rope for a second before launching themselves at Taiga as well, wing glowing as the two clashed against each other. The power behind Taiga's attack managed to knock the Aerodactyl aside even as the Wing Attack hit her across the face. She continued on towards the Omastar who Withdrew into their shell somewhat to take the attack better. After Taiga hit them and made them tumble over they opened up their mouth and launched a Dragon Pulse at Taiga. Isole rolled her eyes as she saw her allies rush in there. "Guess it makes it easier for me." She muttered. If she stayed back and supported she wouldn't have to get too into it while the others took the enemy head-on. Unfortunately as she fired off a Thunderbolt at the winged one the Gijinka seemed to take offense to being attacked. Rushing towards her with their wings tucked in they dove forward, trying to Take Down the slow moving Rotom. The Kabutops eyed Scarlet as she came charging in. They moved to Slash as the Scisor clamped down, allowing their claw to be caught in the Gijinka's pincer. Up close and personal the Kaputops, keeping their expression neutral despite the pain, launched a Hydro Pump at Scarlet and followed it up with another Slash. Team Mac, Ogren "Thanks so much for letting us stay here, Mrs. Trish!" "Suck up." Mac muttered. She was still annoyed at what Ari had said last night about her stories. In fact she seemed intent on only looking at him to look away in a huff when she saw her looking. She eyed the cape as Kazo put it on but didn't say anything until they had started out on the, rather wet, road away from the town. "....Why are you the only one who gets a cape?" She said. "It looks uh....nice." She said, scratching her nose and clearly awkwardly trying to compliment him. --- Their journey didn't seem as long as it was. Mostly due to the river running near them being a simple guide as well as something to watch as they traveled. Various fish leapt out of the water on occasion and Mac stopped the entire group to dive after a huge turtle she saw slipping into the water. Eventually they managed to reach the end of the river. Which they noticed entered a cave of sorts. "Oooh what's in the cave." Mac said as she ran towards it. Near the end of the cave they all would have to dive to the side as a massive Thunderbolt shot out of it. They heard a voice calling from inside the cave. "Ah, good reflexes, good. You'll need that in this day and age." Stepping out of the cave was a Dragon who they would have only see in art. Wearing dark clothing and walking with a purposeful stride. "I hope the Godslayers are not sending children after me now. They make me sick enough without insulting me." If they didn't know who he was yet they would soon. As Mac's jaw dropped and she squeaked out "Z-Zekrom..." Team Neo Not Dark, Merm Palace Easter's attack was swift but not quite swift enough. One of the Carvanha fell to the side, overcome by the double attack, and one of them slammed into the spot that Easter had been standing, though slam was more solid sounding than it was. The other three raced through the air and jetted right into Easter, one after the other. Each of the three, after landing their hit, went in to Bite the Sylveon. One for each leg and the other straight for his face. As Denku began his decent the Dragalge launched a ball of sludge up at him, striking the raging Pupitar in the face and inflicting Poison on him. He crashed into the Dragalge, who felt his shoulder crack as Denku's fist hit them dead on. With a pained scream the Dragalge's body shimmered as it camouflaged its body. He was still able to be see if one were to focus but Denku's Outrage would seem to be weaker. Trying to back away the Dragalge launched a second Hydro Pump at Denku. Meanwhile Brooke wasn't able to fully block the tail that the Huntail brought across and slammed into her side. Feeling triumphant the Gijinka opened its jaws wide and launched its body like a spring, aiming to crunch down on Brooke's neck with the next attack. Dora swayed back and forth, managing to stay on her feet, as the Cloyster glared at her and started in her direction. They paused, however, remembering what just happened. With a grin she put both hands up and placed them together, leaving an opening. Through which a dazzling, rainbow-like, beam of ice shot out and struck Dora. The girl collapsed from the unexpected hit and struggled to get back up. On her knees, as the Cloyster approached confidently, Dora shot out mud at the Gijinka. Team Alola, On the Road to Adarid City As the day wound down the group would have to stay the night in Trailsau. Anyone who went to check on Trevor, and Allie, would find that the girl, still wounded, had left suddenly by the time they reached the house. Taking the door out on the way out evidently as Trevor was fixing it up. They would be woken up to the sound of yet another brawl but, unlike the last one, they'd be able to avoid this one by leaving before it got too wild. Their journey would go a couple days without much incident. As the sun started to set they would feel something was off. Just ahead. And soon they would come across what looked like a battlefield. The road was torn up as was several trees along the side of the road. There were three figures that could be seen clearly standing in the middle of all of it. One, a female, was looking seriously injured. Bleeding and unconcious in the middle of the road. The other was also female. This one concious, if barely, and sitting against a tree. One leg seemed to be broken. They both shared a distinct resemblance to the first Legend they met in Adarid, Moltres, and seemed to have been through a rather intense fight. Near the second was the third figure. Looking barely worse for wear despite the clearly savage battle that had taken place was a blindfolded Lucario. Even looking at the Gijinka would give them a sense something was dangerous about him. His mere presence being enough to unnerve them. He clearly couldn't see them approach but as they neared his head tilted up. Then he spoke, his voice sounding bored, "You have nothing to do with this. I will give you a chance to move on. Go now, travelers from another land. I will not stop you from continuing along your way."
