  1. Rona couldn't help but let out a genuine whoop of joy as the Lancer proved entirely ineffective in their attack. There was a surge of adrenaline that went through her as the Lancer was so easily stopped in his tracks. Even the nick from the Mercenary didn't put a damper to this. "Can't bring me down like that!" She taunted them as she brought her axe back down in another swing and split the Lancer's skull with the force of the blow. She noticed Edda approach and attack the Mercenary beside her and flinched. Perhaps she hadn't looked like she had it handled and their employer felt the need to get into the fray to defend herself. It certainly made the small victory seem a bit more hollow. "You can stay back you know; fighting is our job!" Edda seemed somewhat annoyed by this, "I can take care of myself too." Though, compared to the sword wielders she had encountered, Rona could tell Edda was not the most practiced or skilled with her sword. Still, there was a concern Rona held that if she annoyed her too bad then it could be bad for her. So the Wyvern Rider simply said "Just don't go too far ahead." And moved forward to face the next group of enemies. A Barbarian and Lancer that looked to be heading their way. She focused in on the Lancer again, eager for a repeat of her previous success. The bandits talking, more like shouting, caused her to glance over the carriage while Cormag flew into position and she let out a groan as she saw. Him. That creepy drunk pirate. Just great. BGM Alexis Beller looked across the field with a frown on her face. She had heard the sounds of combat and had spurred Tana into flying her here as swiftly as possible, admittedly after leaving her patrol behind, but she couldn't say she expected to see this. Bandits fighting Jourans? What a bizarre scene indeed. There was a bounty out to capture a Jouran and here were several of them in a singular group? It didn't bode well that's for sure. But, wait, what's that? Alexis moved forward, near the closest carriage, and... "LEON?" She shouted. "Is that you? It's been ages since I've seen you, what in the world are you doing here, with a bunch of Jourans at that?" While Leon had looked focused on the fight in front of him, he suddenly looks shocked and turns over to see where the voice is coming from. "Alex?!" Seeming both surprised and confused by the girl's appearance he says, "lot's happened. Fighting bandits now." "Yes, I can see that. Well, I guess I have to clear out these rats to get an actual answer out of you. Always making me get you out of trouble even now aren't you?" She noticed Leon was standing protectively in front of a pretty young girl holding a bow. The cogs began to turn in her head. The girl looked to be the shy sort. Quiet, polite, easily spooked. Like a deer. Usually you'd want to see that type with a strong and confident type. Someone friendly and cocky. That would break them out of their shell and be able to put them at ease while also drawing them out into the spotlight. Leon wasn't really that sort of person but it did make sense for him to pursue a girl like that. Maybe it could work? It wasn't ideal but she could certainly imagine Leon trying to court the girl. Perhaps while having to prove himself in the face of a strong rival. Like, like...like that man on the lizard over there. Yes, yes, that could work...oh and to add some more spice to it perhaps Leon and that man could find that they had some hidden fee- Right. Bandits. Focus, Alexis, focus. She took a deep breath and thought of her father's teachings. Diving head first into that mass of axes wouldn't do her any good. There were several sword wielders that she could easily pick off but they unfortunately were guarded by several axe users. She had to, at least, keep that Barbarian away from her for now. It was too early to get wounded. So she would keep the carriage between them for now and focus on that Lancer. As a bonus it let her keep an eye on that Jouran at the same time. Bringing Tana down into a dive, clutching her Steel Lance, Alexis drove the tip into the back of the Lancer who had been focused on the man in front of him. Pulling back as the Lancer tried to turn she was able to thrust once again, this time into the man's neck, slaying the bandit before he could counter. "Alright, who's next?" She muttered.
  2. At first the students were standing around, confused, as the music began to play but little by little more of them got into it. It took only five or so minutes before many of them decided to throw caution to the wind and start to party in earnest. It got harder for people on the now dance floor to avoid getting caught up into it. Kelsey's grin grew wider and wider as the madness of the situation settled in with her. "This school is amazing, isn't it?" She called out, turning towards Stella. Only to see that there was someone else there too. And, surprise of surprises, Stella was chatting with the new girl. She stepped closer to Stella and put an arm around the girl's shoulder. Looking towards the stranger she said. "Hey there! What's your name? I'm Kelsey and, this here," she shook Stella a bit, "is Stella. In case she forgot to introduce herself again." She looked around, seeing people starting to get into the dancing, and swayed back and forth with the music. "Kinda strange music choice but I could get into it, how bout you two?" --- Erica wasn't the first to approach Kris. However the people ahead of her were turned down sharply. "I appreciate the initiative but I'm not taking members right now. You'll have to wait for the official sign up day on the first day of school. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them now, however." Sammi on the other hand was the first to get to talk to BOMB. The robot threw his hands out to the sides and he let out a happy sounding chirp. "I would be happy to let you into my house new friend! I shall update the list promptly!" Before he could, however, Kris cleared her throat. "BOMB, as I said, we can't accept them yet, remember? As much as you want more members you have to follow protocol as well." Merlin, who Chase would notice was surrounded by several girls that had seemingly swarmed to him out of nowhere, called out from their midst. "Oh come on Kristy cut some slack, let the newbies in if they wanna be. The more the merrier right?" "It's Kris. And I will not allow breach of rules on my watch." Kris responded. "This is why your house has the fewest members you know." Merlin said with a light chuckle.
  3. You may ask why it was I voted for myself in the poll. It is simple. I held such guilt over failing to catch the killer, and suffered such persecution, that I began to doubt my innocence myself. Alas in the end this was my undoing as I die, alone, thought to be a killer by all. While the true killer escapes and frames me. My legacy is now that of a killer. Where once upon a time I was hailed as a hero I now die a villain. Tis a cruel twist of fate indeed.
  4. How can you have this many games and not have Halo: Reach
  5. Yeah, haha, it's random. Just random guys. That's all.
  6. Man, it's rather unfortunate that we kept missing the killer isn't it?
  7. Eirika is awesome. Cute and amusingly quirky but I really like that she shows a compassionate side when it comes down to it too
  8. Team Mac, Day 23, Ogren "Which means there are less legendaries around. That's not good. Also, it's not good to be so cocky, Mister." "I just... I just don't want more people dying because they weren't taking this seriously. This is a very serious threat. So just... be careful, okay? I won't be able to get romance advice from you if you die," Tornadus seemed to be growing agitated by the conversation. "They didn't know what was coming. I know there's people out there. When they come I'll be ready to take them on." He crossed his arms over his chest and frowned at the group. "You must have seen some pretty strong folk to shake you up so much. But they're not gonna take me down. The Great Green One can't afford a loss." And that was when he was struck from the side by a ball-like object. And slammed into the ground. The object rolled off and spun in place for a moment before stopping. And then a woman uncurled and stood up. Not just any woman. But the Miltank that they had met before. "Goodness, this has just not gone well. I didn't want to do this with children around but when you have a chance to get rid of a Legend you just have to take it." She smiled sadly at the trio. "I suppose I can't ask you to leave and let me take care of my business, can I?" Tornadus lay, groaning, on the ground, seemingly dazed by the sudden attack. The wedding guests started to panic and shriek. Elsa shouted above the crowd. "Everyone, get out of here, this crazy chick is dangerous! Laura, get everyone going." The Leafeon hesitated, looking at Elsa in concern. "What are you going to do?" She asked quietly. "That girl crashed our wedding." Elsa said, slowly making her way forward, fists clenched. "I'm going to make her regret it." Team Neo Not Dark, Day 33, Merm Palace "Thank you, oh thank you sir! I've been so lonely." He edged a little closer to the man. "I'm glad that Dora is surrounded by people like you," The Kingdra was blushing heavily and having trouble looking at Easter as he pointed off in the distance. "R-right this way." He led the Sylveon down the hall, glancing back at him every few seconds, but unable to keep his gaze on him for long. "Well...Everyone loves Dora, after all." He said, finally responding to what Easter said. "It's hard not to. Even if she wasn't...you know, the princess." It wasn't long before they reached the room and the Kingdra knocked lightly. "Your highness?" He called out softly. Hearing an even softer response he opened up the door. "Um, one of Dora's...friends, wanted to see her, if that is okay with you." Easter would hear a soft, melodic, voice call out "Well let them in already, no need for them to wait out there." When he entered the room he'd find Dora, her head on a large bed, asleep. With a sickly, but still beautiful, Milotic laying on the bed and stroking the girl's hair. ------ "Hi. Are you Phione?" The child's head perked up and they looked at Denku for a while, not saying anything, just watching the Pupitar. "I think so." They responded. "That's what people call me. So I guess I am, huh?" They moved from their back to floating on their stomach instead and pushed through the water towards the edge. "What about you? You're not the person who usually comes here. Are they sick?" Team Alola, Day 27, Trailsau Rain falling down on his head. Water striking him over and over. Heatran was feeling rather steamed at the moment. So when Randy began speaking the Legend turned to him with an angered look. "You talk too much." he said. The first arm struck him cleanly but as the second came across the legend grabbed onto Randy's forearm. He thrust his fist into Randy's gut and then picked the young man up and tossed him. The Incineroar flew towards the lip of the volcano as Heatran turned his attention back to the other two. "I'm not nearly worn out! Try harder!" He roared and stuck his arms into the lava on either side of the rocky path. The lava erupted from it, similar to the plume before, in a much larger amount than any attack previous. Two pillars of lava shot towards Keanu and Marie, one for each, and continued to flow. --- "Plus, you just got back, and it looks like your sisters really missed you. I never had any sisters so I can't relate, but if I did, I think I'd want her to stick around for a bit before taking off to do something dangerous." Allie's smirk grew cold as she sauntered closer to Nani. She leaned over the Mimikyu and poked her chest. "And where do you get off telling me what to do, hm?" She glanced at Trevor. "Get the girls inside." When they started to complain she shook her head. "I'll tell you all about my journey later if you do." Once they were gone she turned back to Nani. "What are you trying to hide from me little miss foreigner?" Team Showdown, Day 31, Oasis "Well can't say I expected that." Landorus said. He nodded at Taiga and smiled. "You, you don't seem half bad. You're honest and I like that. I left it to Rayquaza because that's how this goes." He shrugged. "My job wasn't to take charge. It was to keep my brothers in check. Those two are strong. They helped keep things in balance most of the time. But sometimes they got a bit...out of balance. That's when I wake up and calm them down." He chuckled darkly. "And what did I wake up to this time?" He looked at Scarlet. "People killing us because they felt they knew how things should be done. You don't like us? Fine. But until you've lived as long as I have you sure as hell can't blame me for what I do or don't do." Landorus frowned. Gazing down at the pie. "Maybe I just want to enjoy however much time I have left. Cause even if we stop them there's people like you who think they might be right. And then we'll be hunted all over again." He gave a bitter laugh. "From what I hear this world has been going to shit for a while now. A time before the 'Gods'? What do you think got us into this?" Team Karaoke, Day 37, Deadlands "so, I suppose I should ask something I haven't yet. What do you want to do Gwen?" Gwen smiled slightly at Nine's answer. "I wonder if it's really that simple." She said, before thinking about his own question. She didn't answer at first but slowly a blush formed on her face and she shook her head. At first refusing to answer. But after a few moments she gave a simple answer. "I'd like a family of my own some day." She responded. Her voice sounding almost wistful as she spoke. --- "Whatever is at the end of this journey, I'm sure it's the right thing to do." Kayla still didn't seem very convinced but she responded with a half-shrug. "I guess we'll find out soon." She glanced over at him. "I, er, if there is something...going on...I'll..." She shuffled farther away. "Uh, stop it." She finished, unconvincingly. -------- The next day the trip continued on much the same as previous. At first. After several hours though everything changed. Rather drastically. They found themselves standing not too far off from a grove of flowers. brightly colored and plentiful. A large circular area that, unlike the complete dead land that they had crossed to be here, was full of life. And in the middle was what seemed to be a shell made of flowers, vines, and leaves. And it was surrounded by Ghost types.
  9. Admit it Moorei. You're in my head. You know which characters I like and intentionally put them against my nominations!
  10. From singing to murder. Just as it should be.
  11. It's a shame Torm accused me, an innocent man, last time. Maybe I could have prevented this...
  12. It's a shame it had to be this way...
  13. Keres turned around at Reinaan's warning and saw the bee flying towards her. The creature was fast. But it seemed to be moving right at her without any sort of strategy or thought. "A bee-line." Keres muttered to herself. Puns aside the creature's stinger looked incredibly dangerous. She knew that if she got caught by it that it could easily get stuck and any attempt to pull it out would harm her greatly. Gathering up some water she swatted the sting away from her. Unfortunately without much force behind it the bee wasn't much deterred and it went at her again. She stepped back but knew that she wouldn't be able to dodge out of the way. So she once again used the water to push the bee to the side and avoid the attack. She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep this up. Thankfully Ryia came in at that moment and together they were able to bring the bee down. "Um." Keres said, stepping up beside Ryia. "Sorry...about that." She gestured at the girl's dripping form, having been caught by the splashing of Keres's attack. "And thank you..." --- While the bee that Reinaan had burned didn't seem to be moving any more the other one was still there. If barely. With a wound in its body and having difficulty staying in the air the bee would surely die soon. However it wasn't quite dead yet and its instincts were to attack. So it moved its large body, barely hovering above the ground, at Reinaan and stabbed at the Draken's leg as his attention had shifted towards Keres. The area where the bee had caught him with its stinger started to ache and throb painfully. As far as he could tell it wasn't poisonous but the pain did manage to distract the young hunter somewhat. --- "um, help the others. Up here. I'll um," "Yes, of course, as you command milady." Damien said with a mock bow. He placed his hand on the hilt of his sword as he watched the Chosen take off. Most of the bees fell easily. "Suppose can't expect much from fluffy flying bugs right?" Damien said and started strolling towards the bee at the far end as the new Chosen attacked. "Here's some advice sweetheart." Damien said. "Examine the enemy. Figure out what kind of attacks work. These things probably don't really need their heads all that much and a little hole from an arrow ain't gonna do much." He smirked at her. "But don't worry, I've got this, Miss Chosen." He took off at full speed then, drawing his blade to slash at the bee's abdomen. The bee, somewhat disoriented by its sensory organs being damaged by the axe, still managed to fly above Damien's sword as the man ended up running past the bee. The creature began to descend near him and, as it tried to stick its stinger in him, Damien twisted his body and brought his sword in a horizontal arc. Slashing into the bee's abdomen and cutting through the area above the stinger. Guts spilled out from the bottom of the insect and it collapsed to the ground. Wrinkling his nose he stepped over the pile and wiped his blade clean. "See what I mean?" Damien said to Pyrrha. Soon after the bees from the grass burst out, having moved closer towards where the elf was, and in moments were coming at her from two sides in order to skewer the girl with their stingers.
  14. They didn't really pay any attention to what she said. Of course they didn't. Stupid. Why would she expect anything different? Why had she expected anything different? She didn't even want them to acknowledge her. She hadn't meant to speak up at all. it was just...frustrating to see how hopeful they were. Something about it put her on edge. She wasn't quite sure what but she knew she didn't like it for some reason. At least they weren't shouting at her. They left her alone for the most part. Which was good. She didn't want to have a conversation and this way she wouldn't be pulled into it. "Maybe you're right, honestly. Maybe we can't fix the place, but it's my home. I'd hate to just abandon it entirely. Right now, I have nowhere else to go when this is all over." Except for that. Why'd this girl have to respond? Why was she looking at her? Nowhere to go. That's right. There was nothing after this for her. Probably for most of them. What could people experimented on like this and taken away from a normal life for so long hope to do after? Why were they so sure there was an after? "Maybe that's just how it is." She said. Immediately cursing herself for responding. This wasn't good. She wasn't used to being around people. If she kept responding they'd keep responding. It was a vicious cycle of pointless discussion. She looked over towards Mr. E. This could backfire entirely but she had to ask. "When can I go?"
  15. “give me a text. Or a call, I guess. I won't always be able to help, obviously, but I'll definitely try.” Gabriela reached out for the paper. Her hand was shaking slightly so she covered it up by loudly proclaiming, "Yes, tis only proper for one such as me to have reliable connections in this land. Many thanks to you. I wish I did not have to see you go but mayhaps our fates will cross once more." She took the paper and, after Melissa left, stared at it for a while. It was the first time anyone had given her their number. That meant they were actually friends, right? Not just people who happened to know each other. But honest to goodness friends? She clutched the paper to her chest and stayed behind Hiraku as they entered the room. She couldn't let them see how watery her eyes had gotten as emotion threatened to overwhelm her. It was silly. Something so small making her so happy. On some level she realized that this was something that was common for most people. Even so it didn't diminish the warmth that Gabby felt in that moment. A thought struck her. She needed to get a phone. --- Taking in a deep breath Gabriela stepped out from behind Hiraku. If one were looking closely they might notice slight puffiness around her eyes, having just wiped away the tears that had threatened to spill out, but it was much easier to notice her sweep her arms to the side. "Hello, I am Gabriella of Romvania. And you all have the glorious honor of being members of my new court here in this school!" The reaction was much more awkward than Gabby had anticipated and the girl found herself edging slowly towards the wall. Her movement, as well as the uncomfortable moment, came to a stop soon after as the captain made his entrance. She didn't really catch the first part of what Hitomu was saying. She was far too focused on the boxes that the captain had brought in. Stacks upon stacks of cards just out there in the open like that. She thought to her deck. The only cards she owned. Were these cards for their use? But could she bring herself to use them? She might find something to help her deck in there. But then she would have to admit that she, the great princess of a rich country, had not been able to afford more than what she had. She couldn't let on to the fact that she had practically nothing. As tempting as the cards were. As much as it may help her efforts. She knew she wouldn't be able to put them in her deck. It was a rather bitter pill to swallow. But this is what she decided. This is who she had chosen to be. She had to see it through. The captain began to tell them his tales of glory and Gabby found herself somewhat in awe. He was so successful that he couldn't even keep track of all his victories? Was this what she was supposed to live up to? Did becoming a professional mean winning so much that it became second nature? Gabby thought back to the single tournament that she competed in. Sure, many of the matches seemed easy, but she would have lost that last match if not for.... " I’ll just go ahead and jump right into the mandatory Conduct review we have to do every year.” "What?" Gabby said. Much louder than she had realized. Heads turned towards her and she hesitated. She hadn't meant to say that. But what did he mean by conduct? Her mind started to connect dots that, in all likelihood, shouldn't have any reason to be connected. Code of conduct. Cheating. Her getting into the school. Did they know? Was this all a trick? No, stop, they're looking at you, don't freak out. If you panic they'll know for sure. "That is to say what could you possibly need to review? Is this club full of riffraff and scoundrels? I, for one, know my conduct is always top class. I would hope that none of you can say less than that. Otherwise what kind of club did I decide to grace with my membership?" She could tell she was talking too fast from her nerves. Hopefully the outlandishness of her words would cover for that. It seemed to work for at least some of the members that were gathered around her. Gabby clutched the paper that Melissa had given her, wishing that the girl was here instead, she could certainly use a friend right now.
  16. Girl's Afternoon "so, what kind of movies are you guys in the mood for. I'm down for something with action." "What kind of movie have you got in mind?" Morgan rolled her eyes. She was already in a huff since Cyanthrax completely ignored her earlier and her mood didn't seem to be getting much better. "I suppose I have to decide everything for you people don't I?" She said. The witch shook her head as she examined the screens that displayed what movies were on going. Maximum Overdrive, a movie about a popular fictional character called Jaxx "The Max" Benton who was a muscular "Manly man" who beat up criminals and nerds while driving fast cars and throwing out punny one-liners. Stuck in the Middle (Of the World) With You, a comedy about two friends who got transported into the center of the world where they had to try and disguise themselves to blend in with the native Mole Men and find a way out of there while going through all sorts of wacky high-jinks. Mostly involving the pet lizard they found along the way. Savage Garden, a horror movie about being stuck in an underground ruin with a killer vine monster. The tagline was "Truly, madly, deeply, in danger". And A Whole Lava Love, which was described as a Steamy romance between a cleaning lady and an occupant at the hotel she works with which was located inside of a volcano. Morgan stared at the options for a while then pointed at the last. "It says it has a lot of 'hot action' that's what you wanted, right?" She turned towards Ross and it was clear from her face that she didn't realize anything wrong with coming to that conclusion. Xia "so...she can't just...we have to make sure she doesn't do this again. Right?" Valerie gave an empty laugh. "Don't think I've tried? She's stronger than me and I only ever find her when she comes to me. Hard to fight back when she only pops up when she wants to." Aurea rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. "I don't know how she does it but none of us have been able to track her down yet. It's kinda embarrassing honestly." Camille for his part seemed to be trying to avoid attention. But when addressed he'd just say "I don't...want to have to fight anymore." Soon after a group of workers, humans and fae alike, came in to start clearing things up and fixing what was damaged. Aurea, suddenly remembering she was working still, told the rest that they should probably get going while they get everything under control here.
  17. I guess Black didn't like the SunnyXAmour ship, damn, bet there's some drama there...

  21. I love all the Rolls And having started watching 5Ds finally I can safely say....I don't get why so many like Aki. Just finished the Jack vs Yusei tournament thing and so far I'm kinda put off by the "Here's my tragic backstory" attitude.
