  1. "I'm fine walking back," "Oh you're no fun." Alexis teased. "she might, though." Oh, that's right. Alexis followed Edda's gaze to the downed Ada. She frowned. Was it just the monsters that wore her out? She had always heard that dark magic drained your energy and soul to use. If that was the case then even more than usual she had to help this girl out. "Alright, sunshine, this is no place for a nap." She said and, with surprising strength, lifted Ada up in her arms. She easily carried the girl over to Tana. "Room for one more, girl?" Alexis said as she positioned Ada up on Tana before climbing behind the girl. With that done she took to the sky and flew the two of them up and out of the area. Going back to the camp. --- "Enta's only a few days more from where we are." "Onwards!" Alexis called out. She had elected to walk instead of riding Tana and was marching along near the front. Though she continued to turn around to talk, and subsequently nearly fall over, on the way. "Hey, you know what we could use? Some marching music." Upon saying that she went over towards Tana to find an instrument. "Hey, anyone got any requests? Shout em out and I'll try and nail it." "I...I already have a vulnerary. So I'm sorry for using yours." "Aha, no, no need." Rona said. "I'm fine without." She had honestly forgotten she was even keeping that with her until now. There was no reason for her to use it. Why spend time she could be using to fight for that? If the enemy was dead then she wouldn't have to worry about her own health. "Oh! I-Is the fighting over then?" "It is. The beast is slain. It was rather easy, actually!" She didn't have to mention how she had failed to kill it herself. She didn't need them thinking her too weak. Leon apologized for not being able to help with the fight but Rona waved him off. It was unusual for her to see a commander apologize. They were the ones who got to make the decisions. What did they have to apologize for? She hung back as Layne came in to heal everyone, hoping to avoid notice, though she knew eventually he would force her to undergo healing as well. Even though she hadn't earned it. --- With Alexis on the ground Rona was glad to be able to be the only one in the air. It made her feel like she was doing something. Still, she kept low, close to the rest, just the same. There didn't seem to be much around at the moment so she should be nearby in case she was needed. She heard Alexis's words and almost scoffed. What kind of warrior played music? Was her first thought. Which was quickly followed by "A better one than you apparently." She couldn't forget how much better the other girl had fared in the previous battle. She had slain so many of the enemy so quickly. Rona knew it wasn't due to their mounts. Cormag was superior in every way to that pony so it had to have been Rona herself. She had almost felt relief, as twisted as that was, when Aleithe left. It meant that she was the only flier the group had. But now they had gained another superior one. Was it really only Cormag that made her useful? All these other airborne fighters were superior to her despite her superior mount. Would she ever stand above the others? Or would she continue to fall behind?
  2. Hmmmmmmm I think the most I can say opinion-wise is that you're a fun person who I don't quite get. Not in a "wtf are you talking about" way but more I can't help but feel our tastes and such are so different a lot of the time. I appreciate you though since you bring your own flavor to the forum.
  3. Honestly the main thing I'd say to improve on is to not take things too personally. I feel a bit bad about it but sometimes I get frustrated when you get salty and/or sulky about things. I think it's cause I know you're more fun and creative than you give yourself credit for. I often feel you think you have to do more/be better than you have to. tbh I was shocked to find out you're quite a good person overall. Before I really knew much I thought you were just a "haha troll own them libs" type. A lot more chill and friendly than I expected lol I can't say I always understand your humor but you good.
  4. Of y'all. Any other question can go Here Figured its been long enough to do another of these.
  5. @REP @Doggo @Chiri 2 spots open, these three haven't done their third nomination, first come first serve! That being said theoretically I could bump up the nominations more and get to 64. So I want to know if there's enough people who have enough games they really want in to know if it's worth it. I don't want to throw a bunch of "I guess I'll nominate this" in there but if there's still plenty enough people want in then I can raise the goal. So let me know if that's the case, everyone who has nominated so far
  6. Cora let out a small gasp as the girl's horse rammed into the town hall door. Now that was just uncalled for! She was going to tell her such but the girl returned, seemingly frustrated at the lack of success, and asked the oddly fox-like girl if she was alright. Much like with her the black haired woman didn't have much to say. Cora wondered if perhaps there was something wrong with her stomach. She remembered when her dad ate some bad meat he didn't feel like talking for a while. "I just don't think we should linger here in this village, for very long." Did that imply they wanted to abandon them to this curse? Cora thought that rather rude but, thinking on it, understandable. The village wasn't so good with strangers to begin with. "If you all want to go then you should go. I don't wanna force anyone to do anything for us. We'll, uh, figure it out...somehow." She didn't know how but it was the thought that counted right? Oh, right, she almost forgot. She looked to the other girl, Ciela, with what she hoped was a stern expression. "Please refrain from damaging our town hall please." Penelope inched forward to peek into the room. As she hadn't gotten a response from them about the key. What she saw was several of the group heading into a tunnel. "Oh....do be careful!" Penelope called out. She wasn't sure she liked the idea of them heading down there but she figured that the proteans and tsetseg were rather good options for scouting. Meanwhile Edrick was....trying to stuff a rather bulky net into his bag. "Um..." she considered telling him that it might not be so easy but decided to let him do as he wished. "Good luck with that." “Is-- Miss Penelope, are you still over there? Because I think I found something small and metal that, may or may not be a key? I’m not sure yet,” The princess giggled quietly at the 'Miss Penelope'. Funnily enough while Citron was trying to be polite she was actually underselling the level of politeness she'd need. If Penelope were one to mind such things that is. The girl made her way over to find a smashed up box and the girl holding a bottle. Smiling, she asked to see it and, after some twists and turns, the key slid out of the bottle. It was small. Smaller than what she remembered from the lock on the town hall. So perhaps... "I believe this should work. If you'd like to see for yourself you may follow me." And with that she took the key over to the chest. And lo and behold the key worked! Inside the chest was not gold but instead...another key! A key for a key. How quaint. The key rested on a cushion and was much larger than the one that had opened the chest. And more than that it was much older appearing. Perhaps as old as the town hall? A smirk appeared on Penelope's face. "Aha, this might be just what we needed...Yet still there's the mystery of all those letters." She thought a moment and then grabbed the key. "A key hidden in a chest. Locked with a key that was hidden in another box. So many steps just to protect a single key. Very interesting." Gunther, not really having much of an idea what else to do, followed the badger. The cheese in hand. He had already checked the upstairs and the other two were finishing with that. Plus if no one was on this floor it meant they likely had searched it all. Which meant that there wasn't much else to check beyond the basement anyway. "Excuse me but, to be sure, do you have some sort of storage down here?" It would be rather silly bringing the cheese down the stairs if not. The badger nodded in response to which Gunther let out a relieved sigh. He was glad that he could finally get this dumb cheese off his mind. He noticed the badger waddling down the steps with some difficulty. The determination in his stubby legs impressive. "Er, sir?" Gunther said, unsure how to address the badger, "do you need assistance?" He got a grunt in response. With Gunther's great skill in reading animal behavior...he couldn't tell if that was a yes or no. However the badger continued to go on. "Right..." Gunther said, uncertain, and just followed along behind him. Watching to be sure the animal didn't tumble.
  7. Gabriela's eyes widened as Jun mentioned becoming the captain. Was that possible? If so...wasn't that what she wanted? If she was at the top no one could question why she was here, after all, she'd have earned her place. "He used a few chance cards when I played him, but, it tends to look like luck is on his side anyway, so I guess it's a kind of skill?" Gabby winced as Jun said that. She almost didn't catch Melissa's words of departure. Though it was impossible to not notice the girl leave. She stared after her for a bit, frowning. Was it because Gabby was upset? Did she do something wrong? No, that couldn't be, Melissa wasn't the type to abandon someone just for something like that. She must just have to use the bathroom...the reminder was unfortunate as Gabby just remembered it had been a while since she used the bathroom. Though following Melissa would just be...weird. Not to mention she didn't know where the bathroom even was. In either case she was now left alone with Jun and the girl must be expecting some kind of response. With the distraction of Melissa leaving the girl had almost forgotten what she was upset about. But looking back at Jun brought it all back. "Luck isn't a skill." Gabriela said bluntly. "It's pointless and relying on it is just a curse..." she hesitated, feeling herself growing defensive, indignant, and that wasn't how she wanted to present herself. "W-well, it's not my business if he chooses such a poor strategy. It only strengthens my claim of before. I would never let such a thing defeat me! I wonder if this Hiraku is someone who would be rattled by chance."
  8. Naomi made her way around the city. Dragged by the sneasel. She wasn't sure where they were going but he only stopped when some other girl came up and yelled at him. Trainer? Must be. Probably. If not she was stealing the Pokemon very well. "Rondo, stop it! What's wrong with you? You shouldn't bother people like this." "M'not bothered." Naomi muttered, swaying a bit now that she had to adjust to standing there without being pulled again. "Sorry about all that. He's never done anything like that before. He didn't hurt you did he?" "Huh?" Naomi tilted her head to the side. Not really understanding what the girl was asking. "F'course not. Heza Pokemon." What a weird thing to say. A Pokemon wouldn't really try and hurt a person would they? "M'fine." She clarified. She was silent for a bit, just watching the girl, when suddenly Kanon appeared on the scene. "People might get worried." "Why?" she asked, though didn't really expect an answer. Especially as Kanon was now focused in on the other stranger. "And then there's you. ...thanks for finding Nomi here, I guess. Name's Kanon. And you are?" Naomi slumped a bit then, wanting to sit down, but not having the energy to bend down. "Rondo parrently." Naomi muttered, saying the only thing sounding like a name she remembered being said recently. The group first had to decide where it was they would go. But either way as they left the restaurant and continued along the streets they would eventually hear the sounds of running. Turning a corner they would see a young boy, probably not even ten years old, running with a panicked face down the street and turning down an alleyway. Before they even had much time to register what had happened they saw someone chasing after the boy. With long, red, hair and a coat with a symbol on the back that resembled the one that had been in the description of a group of thugs that they had occasionally heard about. He stopped for a second looking back and forth, clutching what seemed to be a bag. He then moved towards the alley that the kid had gone down. "Where they heck did you go, you little runt? Come back here, and stop your damn whining!" He called out angrily, shaking his fist and stomping his way down the alley.
  9. Fight Commentary As per usual the online comments came pouring in during the battles of Morgan vs Ross and Xia vs Cyanthrax. "Wait who's this new girl? Did you see that lighting? Totally vicious." "Sheesh, cold much? This new girl is the true ice queen." "You'd think a witch would be able to handle some spiders, LOL" "Dang, that fight got steamy didn't it?" "idk, you shippers just see what you want to see." "I bet he meant the spiders, rawr ;)" Morgan stared at the comments, having been checking it while the two of them went to get food. The more she read the more frustrated she got. "Seriously? Why are they all so focused on her, just cause she's new...and won...ugh." Meanwhile for the other pair the comments were more energetic. "Shonen as fuck! Did you see them clash like that? Like watching an anime." "Hmm...gym uniform Cyan is good too #fanart" "LOOOOL he got dunked on by those balls, hey cyan if you can dodge a fist you can dodge a ball!" "How is Xia! So HAPPY! ALL! THE! TIME! #goals" "Ugggh Cyanthrax won. Xia deserves all the wins. She totally had him!" "Nah fam my boi played her like a FIDDLE. Xia might be strong but she hella dumb." "Xia better not to get too chummy with MY CYAN ?" As Gavin went for his attack the hound that had missed the bite before went in again and bit down on the fighter's side. There was only a minor indicator of pain to draw Gavin's attention to it, and the wound didn't leave a mark, but he could still feel the pressure of the jaws clamping on his side. Meanwhile the boomerang hit Kira's leg and sent her falling forward. She hit the ground with a grunt and, placing the kanabo end down on the ground, pushed back up to her feet a few moments later. Letting out a shout, which drew the attention of one of the carrion birds flying overhead, she launched herself towards Gavin again. The bird came down and clawed at her face and she grabbed it and pulled it down with her. Heading for Gavin with her kanabo raised up to slam into him in one hand and with the large, vulture-like, bird, flailing around in her grip in the other.
  10. btw, when you do add more, might be good to post saying what you added, it took me a bit to realize what you added lol
  11. Erica could search all she wished but she wouldn't be able to find a staircase. For the simple fact that there was no such thing in this building. So, try as she might to avoid it, she would have to take the elevator in order to see the other floors. When the doors opened she saw that the elevator was empty. After entering and the doors closed, however, the lights flickered for a moment. Then a voice behind her said, in a low, muffled, voice. "You going up or down?" If she were to turn to look she'd see a tall figure, over six feet, with an old and tattered black cloak. Its hood pulled so low that she couldn't see their face. They would wait a moment for her to respond but if she didn't they'd just repeat themselves again. "I'm looking for something... no, someone, myself. Have you seen him? He's a robot, about..." "O-oh." The boy said, looking a bit dejected as Sammi continued on. "You mean, um, the House Bomb person? Why do you need to...n-no, nevermind, um." He shifted uncomfortably then nodded. "I think I know where he is. He's kept...er, he lives in a bunker near the dorm rooms." The boy started towards the dorms, then stopped, started going the other way, then looked at her. "If you want I can...show you." He said, keeping his eyes down. Either way Sammi would find her way towards what looked like a small hill with a door in it. Said door resembled more of a hatch than a door, complete with the circular handle. Upon opening it lights would come on along the walls. A tunnel heading downwards until reaching a narrow room. On the other side was another door. However there was also a sign. "Caution, Mine Field" and under it was written in blocky letters "Enjoy!" Kelsey's eyes glazed over as Vivian talked about...trees. It was probably interesting in its own way but it also reminded her way too much of a school lecture and, given she wasn't being graded on this, she couldn't help but tune out. "Well, it certainly sounds rough where you come from, but we don't have many forests where we're from and the weather's normal enough right?" "Huh, what?" Kelsey broke out of it from Stella's voice. "Oh, right, super normal. We almost done here by the way?" Evidently not. The girls continued on their trek. Kelsey following along behind Stella as the other girl added more and more to what was becoming a rather precarious stack. "I wonder what the weather here is like?" From behind the stack of notebooks and folders Kelsey called out "Dunno, probably...normal?" Finally, it seemed their quest had reached its conclusion. Their loot was now towering over the top of Kelsey's head. Swaying back and forth as she followed the girl. "It's okay, it's okay, I totally got this." "...How long was I out? And what the hell did you guys put me under with?" The nurse looked up and sat the magazine to the side, laying flat with the page she was on pressed onto the desk, and stood. "About four hours I'd say. And I just gave you a sedative...I wasn't sure what your problem was or how long it would take so I just gave you the strongest one I had. I'm sure you'll be fine...by the time you go to class tomorrow anyway." She moved next to him and began to check various parts of him. Checking his heartbeat, alertness level, and so forth. "She never said what she was doing to you so I really hope that it was something you were okay with. It didn't seem to take very long and as soon as she was done she wandered off. Something about a toaster, I'm not sure, but she seemed to have a breakthrough while messing around with your head." Kansuke would realize he knew the exact temperature and time needed to make the best toast possible. "I guess I'll catch you later then, Aya." "Or not." Aya suggested. Once in his dorm he would find his roommate in there again. This time wearing headphones. He grunted as Chase came in and said, in a voice a bit above normal volume, "Already done flirting? That your type or something?"
  12. Statuses are one thing but this is literally just spam now. Consider this a verbal warning.
  13. I shall bump the nominations now to 3, and add my own, so 9 nominations left needed for the goal! I was debating on what to add, a few come to mind, as in 8 lol, but.... The Legend of Dragoon
  14. SSSS Gridman was so good! AkaneXRikka The second one I really, really, like. Though the end of the tail feels a bit off? And the claws might be a bit too...shrimpy lol
  15. Team Mac, Cave Part Two Zekrom smiled wide as he heard Ari's roar. "I see you are a Gijinka of good taste!" His attack met Kazo's head-on. While the two attacks were of similar power Zekrom's strength was more than a match for Kazo's and he pushed the Gabite's arm out of the way before bringing his arm back down towards Kazo's chest. The sharp edge dulling slightly as it struck Kazo's body. The Legend looked over at Mac with an eyebrow raised, "How about it, your friends went move for move, what about you?" The girl, body crackling with charged up energy, let out a shout of her own as she leapt towards the legend. She brought her fist back and then forward, launching her electrical punch at the Dragon. Zekrom laughed, and gave an approving nod. He brought his own fist back and flung it forward. The blue electricity coming from it much more powerful than Mac's own spark. He punched through her attack and she was hit in the chest by the powerful blow. She was thrown back with a tingling, almost numb, feeling from the power of his electricity. Still he stood, not having moved from the same spot as before, and held his arms out to the side. "That's not all I hope!" Team Neo Not Dark, Under The Sea The Huntail's attack, while impressive looking, was stopped cold by Easter's shield. Splashing uselessly across the surface. The Huntail growled and started to approach him. "Shame to scar up such a pretty face but don't think I won't." He snarled. Dora, watching what Easter had done, gasped out loud. "Oooh, pretty! Do it again do it again!" She called. The Huntail ran forward towards Easter and jumped into the air. Spinning around his tail was coated in watery energy as he aimed to slam it down onto the Sylveon. In Brooke's clutches the Cloyster couldn't move much...but Brooke seemed to be distracted by something and the Aurora Beam managed to strike her and give the Cloyster an opening to get out. The woman's shell cracked even more, shattering nearly completely, as they dropped down to a crouch underneath the fiery arms. Gripping a piece of shell they darted forward at surprising speed towards Brooke. Team Alola, On the Road to Adarid City "are- are you alright?" The Ice legend was still unconscious so they couldn't respond to Marie's question. The other, the Electric-type, on the other hand seemed to still be barely clinging to consciousness. Enough to shakily raise a hand and flash a thumbs up. "N-never better, kiddo." She said, wincing as she did. "Looks like...you scared him off. Tough little s-squirt aren't ya?" She looked over in concern at the other. "Hey could someone...check on Articuno for me? I would but... this tree is c-comfortable." Team Showdown, Temple of Time and Space When Taiga's icy fang bit into the Rampardos's shoulder he tried to toss her off. But the tenacious shark-like girl hung tight and Rampardos's flailing soon started to slow as the chill from the attack crept its way through his body and he collapsed to the side. Unable to move. Meanwhile the Bastiodon seemed unfazed by Scarlet's angry attack. Merely lowering his head slightly and letting Scarlet strike the shield-like mane around his neck. The Gijinka's body flashed then and took on a steely shine, as he prepared his Iron Defense. "Like I said, you're nothing, not compared to my defense." There was something in the tone that made Scarlet feel more pumped up before. Yet, despite this, she would also feel a confusion work its way into her system. Making it hard to tell what she was attacking. And then the Bastiodon let out a draconic pulse from his palm. Isole glanced over at Taiga. "That shield is going to be a pain. Why don't we do something about that?" Team Karaoke, Graveyard of Lost Souls Raphael didn't do anything as Nine's flames washed over his hands. The fire scorched his hands and arms but he just continued onward, cackling with glee, as his claw raked across Nine's body. The Houndoom would feel as though something inside of him was being torn out despite the lack of a physical wound. Raphael shrieked as Lok struck him from behind and, spinning around, the disciple started throwing Shadow Balls in every direction. Most at Lok but some even towards Nine and Gwen. The latter of which didn't notice as she was focusing on increasing her power. Mind swarming with more and more dark thoughts. So much that an aura began to seep out of her body. Which prevented her from noticing the ghostly attack heading her way. Kayla had dove behind one of the tombstones as one shadow ball went towards her. As she landed she felt something under her. And several hands and arms burst from the soil to grab at her. The girl strucked against them, pulling them away and darting off, only to have one grab her by the ankle. She looked back and saw a skull poking out of the ground. Disfigured with one jagged horn she couldn't tell if it had been a gijinka previously or not. Still, her Signal Beam caused the thing to withdraw and she started to run farther from the group. Trying to calm herself down enough so that she could fade away like usual.

  19. Rules Nominations (32/32) Here we are. As per the poll I did before this seemed to be the one most were interested in. If a game has more than one version be sure to specify which. You can nominate multiple in the same series if you wish. Round 2 Round 3 Semi-Finals
  20. "I'm a net now." Penelope let out a giggle at this. She was glad she came down here. That girl was ever so delightful to watch. Alas the show was over just as it started as the others lifted the net for the girl to escape. Satisfied that things were figured out here Penelope backed away. She saw Citron off to the one side so she returned to the sword and shield she saw before. She didn't have high hopes but she didn't want to leave anywhere untouched. No amount of touching would change the fact that there was nothing to find there. Not even under the table. Both the sword and shield seemed to be in good condition but Penelope had no need for them and it wasn't nearly worth the trouble of taking them. So she moved on to the more interesting object. A large chest. With a lock. She tried to pull it open, testing the lock, and it held fast. The chest was rather large and heavy. So much so that Penelope didn't think she could possibly lift it. Still, she decided to try and wiggle it forward a bit so she could check underneath and behind it. It took some trying but she was able to pull it back enough to check and find...nothing, again. Oddly the chest felt as though it were empty. Still bulky enough to be hard to lift but from what she could tell there was nothing inside. Which only made her more curious. She moved over towards the door the others were inside and called out "Anyone happen to find a key that could fit in this chest out here?" Gunther frowned at Alois's attitude towards possibly breaking the crate. Still, it seemed that everything was settled up here. "I suppose I shall go check with the others while you take care of that. Let us know what you find later alright?" Upon saying this the Knight went down the stairs to find that...everyone had left? Huh. Well....He stood around awkwardly for a few moments before hearing noises at the door. He approached it and opened the door to see Catriona standing there. And, behind her on the stairs, the beaver from before and....a badger? The princess shoved food into Gunther's face, quite literally, and said simply "Here, food" The Knight couldn't help but smile. The young woman was always rather awkward about such things. It was refreshing sometimes with how much he dealt with Penelope's more flowery speech. "Thanks Cat...er, Pri.....that is, Catriona." Gunther said as he realized he wasn't sure how he was supposed to address her. Calling her Cat seemed almost rude but she wasn't a princess here, as they were undercover, yet Catriona almost felt too stiff. She didn't seem to have much more to say. "Suppose you're on a mission." He said with a bigger smile. Letting her through he approached the two animals. A thought came to mind while watching the badger and he knelt down and asked "This might be silly to ask but....is this your home?" They confirmed with a nod and snuffle. "Er...I am sorry for what's going on in your town. And for, well," he gestures at the house. "But we're doing what we can to figure out how to fix this....Oh, that reminds me. It's a small thing but I'd hate your food to go bad. Do you have a place you store your cheese?" The badger nodded and started to shamble into the house. Gunther followed and noticed that the animal appeared to be going for the basement. Taking this as an answer, Gunther went and grabbed the cheese once more, and followed after the badger. Cora followed along behind the other two as they reached...the town hall? That seemed a bit odd. After all the door was locked and it was a rather secure building. Did the girl intend to force her way through? She frowned. That would be unpleasant. She didn't want to even think about having to explain this situation to the mayor. It was enough that she'd have to explain why she let those people roam his house....then again the mayor also had some things to explain. That's when Cora noticed the strange, animal-eared, girl pacing around. She appeared to be agitated for some reason. Sliding off Abel's back Cora cautiously approached her. "Is there something wrong? Um....besides the obvious." Licorice jerked her head, a look of surprise on her face. "Oh...no, nothing is wrong..." she trailed off. "Thank you." Cora felt she should say something more. Instead of letting this awkward silence settle. But the girl was clearly distracted and what would she say? Ask about the animal ears? What if it was a sensitive subject? ....Seriously though why did she have those ears?
